This is the best art supply store in West LA. Ive been going here for my studio needs for over 20 years. Everyone working there is an expert and quite friendly. Their new location is Culver City is an awesome upgrade. Very convenient and lots of parking!There is Graphaids then there is the rest.

My daughter needed art supplies for school. The sale person was helpful. I had never heard of the art supply store. They have been around for 50 years.My daughter will be going back for her art supplies. They have alot to choose from.

Entrance is a little hidden. They have great selection of everything related to art and a range of products for beginners/one time use to high end professional quality.The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, you can tell that they are artist themselves and pride themselves ( in a positive way) in it.The location it self also has a lot of art, murals on the outside and paintings on the inside that if you want you can buy.Great art store

You need to come here they got everything here alot of stuff great costumer Service and its really close to my house love it and great prices kid friendly but of course dont have your kids running around or touching

Where do I begin? These folks are just great -- great selection, pricing, and unlike a lot of art stores staffed with apathetic art majors endlessly phone-scrolling, these people actually help you find what you need, and will deliver to your studio if need be! VERY helpful for large canvasses etc. Have an obscure pencil brand/blending stub/paintbrush type etc... in mind? These guys know what it is, what it looks like, and where to find it. Ive been going to Blick, A+C Supply, and other spots in the Valley. Nothing compares to Graphaids. Reminds me of the real-deal spots back in NYC.

By far the most impressive art supply store I have been in southern California. Inventory well maintained, and inclusive. Prices reflect quality products and a reasonable overhead. Really disappointed! I ordered two toned paper and some white chalk pencils. I only received one toned paper so I had to call the store so they can send me the rest of the supplies. I later received my other toned paper but NO WHITE CHALK PENCILS. I had to call ONE MORE time to ask where my white chalk pencils were at and they said my order was complete when it wasn’t. This is really frustrating and unprofessional. I heard about this store because my art professor told me about it, but never again :( I asked for a refund for the white chalk pencils I didn’t receive. I hope I do get my money back. I wouldn’t recommend this store! I would go to Blicks instead.

I love going into this place! I feel the prices for supplies are reasonable and have come here more than once for notebooks or sketchbooks. Staff are extremely friendly and always offer to help me find things.

I wanted to buy everything in the entire store. My daughter and l had a blast finding her tools for her art.

These days most of art supply stores are generic and boring, corporate. I really enjoyed shopping and browsing here because it still has the quirkiness of old school art stores. I love different variety of products that are also from small businesses which gives it a lot of variety on what you can get as an artist. People who work there were also eager to help and very pleasant.

This place carries only high quality art supplies. The people are helpful and friendly and the prices are fair.

Its love/hate relationship with this store. I love supporting small shops but when you have a paranoid employee who thinks your going to steal(Hispanic Chick with Glasses) it just gives off a bad vibe. With that attitude I rather shop online and not deal with it. Awesome store overall and the black dude with curly hair is the man!

This place is great i have to admit. I was especially surprised to find out that they carried the infamous Tombow Mono pencil (A wood clenched pencil that acts as a mechanical pencil;it doesnt smear).And on top of that,had some pretty damn good customer service. Nice people and good art equipment.I highly recommend this place.

I love graphaids, they have such a wide selection of art tools, papers, paints, pens, etc. They are who I usually go to whenever I am in need of more supplies, even my clay for sculpting.

This store has more supplies than all the others, and if they dont have something theyll order it for you, my step dads a civil Engineer and he sends me here all the time, theres a young gentleman who is so helpful and nice, and theres a couple of rude people as well. Overall though its a Go To place.
