My and my daughter’s iPhones were compromised and our emails & passwords were stolen. Scott C at the Crystal Lake, IL AT&T store gave us new sim cards, reprogrammed our phones, was able to move my daughter’s phone #, which had been changed to another carrier, back to AT&T and gave us contact info in order to restore our email accounts. Scott was professional, knowledgeable and courteous throughout our loooong visit. Hats off to Scott for a job well done!

I went in to Crystal Lake location to transfer a phone number out to another name. I guess you can’t do that anymore at the store even though customer service told us that it would be easier going in a branch. The sale representative was rude, unhappy, and very unhelpful. His attitude as a customer service representative is not aceptable. He rolled his eyes at us and was annoyed in trying to help us understand why they can’t transfer out a line to another name. If you don’t like your job look for another one. His name is Scott. Hopefully no one else has this awful service!

If I could give at&t fewer stars I would. They cancelled a phone order that we waited over two weeks for and then wouldn’t give us the original price that we signed up for. They all agreed that that original price was still available but the system wouldn’t let them give it to us. It’s clear that the employees were not trained to find ways to help us and the system is set up to screw over the customers. Their solution was to either walk out the door without a phone or pay $200 extra. Avoid at&t at all costs. They have absolutely terrible abilities to help their customers.

Another bait and switch at the ATT store in Crystal Lake IL. Sold us aplan that was unlimited. Turns out its only for the one new phone, the other 4 phones on the plan now need to get upgraded and now Im paying more. Guess being a lifetime customer doesnt mean anything any more. Make them print out all the details. I think its time to go to TMobile.

I have had a VERY wonderful experience switching over to AT&T! Its been a couple weeks and the phone service is great!!! Its especially amazing to get faster internet service at an even cheaper cost. The customer service was also very good! Javier Salas was very patient and honest! He really helped me understand the switching benefits, and hooked me up with: TV, Internet, and Wireless!!! Again great service overall!

I’m reposting because someone took it downI called customer service and found out that front line works qualify for 25% off their bill. The person I was working with stated that I don’t qualify for being a front line worker. Which is very odd because according to the government I do. I left the store and called customer service. They said yes I do based on my employer also. But I would have to go back to the store. It’s just a hot mess and AT&T needs to streamline and everyone who works there should know whom gets the discount and who doesn’t. All this back and forth is uncalled for. Also customer service over the phone should be able to put the discount on also. I’m unsure why you have to go into a store. At this point I think I’m leaving AT&T and going with another service. It’s a shame after 8/9 years with them.

I went to another Att store and the rep there told me they couldnt help me with my technical issue I had with my phone. I understand that it isnt their job to help with tech questions. Dien greeted me at the door and was very professional. It took him a matter of seconds to figure out what was wrong and showed me how to fix the issue just in case it happens again. Great Service!

Scott explained all the bells and whistles to us and took the time to make sure we knew what we were purchasing and how to use it. He was very patient and took his time to explain everything to us in detail. It was a great phone buying experience.

This past Sunday, family and I were previous Sprint customers, and were at their store next door. We spent an hour being frustrated and finally decided to just leave and check out AT&T.We were greeted immediately by Steve Townsend. We needed a family plan, and 2 new phones. Steve was able to break down all our options, and offer us phones that best fit our needs, and budget. He has great instincts, and made the process very smooth. He made some great suggestions, that helped us save even more money.I have to say, buying phones is almost as stressful as buying a car, Steve really made the experience a wonderful one. Hes very knowledgeable and PATIENT, lol.I will forever recommend him, and will always be his customer. I work in retail myself, and I can appreciate first hand, how important having someone like Steve on the front lines, as the first face you see for AT&T.Your lucky to have such an asset!

I had a guy come to my house hook up my new phones and lied every step of the way. Promised my bill would be 120$ never a penny more for 2 phones but that was a lie the bill is 190$ yet again. He took my old phones and if he doesnt fix this its time for a lawyer!

Came in with father looking to get 2 new phones. My father doesnt speak great English so he asked me to translate for him. We were greeted by Brian who heard me speaking Spanish to my father and let us know that he also spoke Spanish. Brian broke down all the details for me and my Dad about the plan, cost, and changes we were making. He was a great help and now knowing that there is someone who can speak Spanish, my family will definitely be back to work with him!

From start to finish everything aspect interaction with their customer service and their actual service provided has been terrible. We used AT&T because we were interested in one of their business features. Their staff worked with my husband to find the specific service we were interested in. When I went back into the store to address a glitch with the system, the staff that were present at the time completely dismissed me as if I had no idea what I was talking about, stating they had no such service. After we signed up for this expensive plan to get this specific feature, we later found out we would need to pay even more to have the specific feature activated! We were practically throwing cash at AT&T. We have been underwhelmed with the spotty service connection within our home for the past 2 years. Now terminating our plan they didnt disconnect all aspects of our plan and when I called to terminate the outstanding components for which we were still getting charged, I got disconnected when being transferred to billing to address any potential prorated fees to my outstanding bill. I am so done with AT&T.

Then manager Amy stepped in used my ATT gift card improperly and I couldnt complete my transaction until the pending charges they placed on there fall off. So grateful for the wonderful care and attention we have received at the Crystal Lake AT&T store. We have been long-time customers through the years and they always seek to find a way to make sure we are happy with our services and products. Steve Townsend in particular has been such a huge help, whether trouble shooting devices, finding us the best pricing, and even coming to the rescue by scraping the “gunk” out of my son’s phone since it refused to charge. He’s saved us many trips to the Apple store (and $$!)! Most of all, he’s become a friend to us. As a business owner, wife and mom, I can for sure recommend this store and the caring folks there!

I ordered my new phone from the AT&T website and had it shipped to my home. Unfortunately, it had an internal technical issue, so I went to the Crystal Lake store and was warmly greeted by Deb. She listened to my issue and immediately took the problem to task as if it was her own phone. She later asked her co-worker Scott his thoughts for an effective solution. They presented a recommendation, and we all concurred on a resolution that was completely satisfying. After being with Sprint for many years. Our bill continued to increase every month!! Having 2 phones paid off 7s and a 10 with less than 5 months....all with only 32 Gb😐 $248.00I walked next door to At & T and received 3 new IPhone 11 max with 64 Gb on 2 phones and one with 264 Gb unlimited everything! For way less!!My decision was made very easy with the assistance from Steve and Scott at AT & T in Crystal Lake on Northwest Highway.They are straight forward with what would work best for the current usage on phones and offered the best options.Thank you for your honesty and help on marking this change over much easier, than I could have imagined.You both were wonderful to work with and I look forward to sending all referrals to you both!Stay well!

Customer service isnt their strong suit. I went in and gave the receptionist my info and told them I was traveling abroad and would like to take my phone with me, they said no problem and theyd be able to help me with that. I then waited for 20 minutes. When it was finally my turn to be helped, they told me that wasnt something that they could do in the store, gave me a flyer and sent me on my way. So I waited 20 minutes to be given a flyer. I was a bit irked that they knew why I was there when I checked in, and then made we wait. They could have just given me the flyer and sent me on my way right when I walked in, instead of wasting 20 minutes of my time. Not the first bad experience Ive had there. Honestly not sure why I still have them as my phone provider...

Stopped in this past Sunday to switch providers and get a new phone. Customer service was friendly and wait was short. However, there was an extreme lack of communication. I was never told any details of what my expected monthly payment would be. I was enrolled in Att next without my consent. I was also enrolled in the most expensive device protection for my new phone and a phone we had brought in, again without my consent. I spent over an hour on the phone with customer service correcting all of these issues that could have been avoided had the service rep properly informed me and asked my permission before enrolling me in things I didn’t consent to. Very unprofessional thing to do, just wanted to charge me the maximum amount possible.

At first I received great customer service, but when I went in to the store to get help about my husbands tablet, they pushed me off to Asurion. AT&T did not activate the tablet, so Asurion will not cover it under their policy. I went back in to inform them again they said they can not do anything. They dont activate an item and it gets damaged its all on you. Amy and Joel the managers dont want to do their job!

If I could give a 0 I would. I went in and purchased a brand new iphone and iwatch less then 2 years ago. At that time I asked to buy what ever coverage needed to make sure both items would be protected and insured. I trusted the sales person to make sure everything was taken care of. On both items I have suffered loss that either a I didnt get enough coverage or b I didnt have coverage at all. I called and asked for help since it was their store that mislead me. Yet again no help was told sorry but there is nothing they can do. ATT has just lost a long time customer and I warn all those going into this store to double check to make sure what you are being promised actually takes place.
