King Cotton Cotton service department once upon a time I thought was a good place to take your vehicle but my last two services I seen why they get such bad reviews Im a good customer and i dont look for hand outs but back in January of 2019 i took my vehicle to get some work done on it considering that the vehicle is now discontinued no matter what it is I take it to the dealership expecting to get the best service my first visit i had about $3500.00 worth a repairs done considering I dont drive the vehicle much 6 months later the air compressor went out again well this time they knew that I cared about my vehicle so they called me saying they would replace the air compressor cause its under warranty but theres another issue would you like us to repair that as well so I said of course then since you all had it go ahead and replace a few other things so the bill on this was about or almost $600.00 well I went to pick my vehicle up on a Friday and I paid for the services with no problems drove bout a mile down the highway and realized that my vehicle was making a noise that it wasnt making in the beginning so I brought it back to the dealership and the guys in service listened and agreed that it wasnt right but told me I could go ahead and take it home it would be ok cause they couldnt put it back in the garage even though they knew it wasnt right so I reached out to corporate office and explained to them the situation and they looked into it and when they contacted the service department they said they knew nothing of it and they have my number on file and didnt even attempt to reach out so if you have a vehicle that you like to keep up Id advise you to take it somewhere else cause now my vehicle is not running the same and Im left with the fact its on me to get it back to normal functioning

Been going last ten years but no more. Asked to rotate my tires told me I needed all my lug nuts replaced and did not rotate. Oil changed and was overfilled. Usually person who does maintenance signs their name this time did not. I will not go back for service their anymore
I purchased a SUV last week and I was treated very well. The sales representative went out of her way to get insurance so I could take my new car home late Sat. Night. They got it financed for me with out any hassle. Today I took a friend to them and they put him in a new Dodge Ram. If youre shopping for a car or truck I recommend you go to King Cotton Covington. Theyll treat you right.
After searching online for the Grand Cherokee that I wanted, we were lead to King Cotton. Fletcher, our salesman, was professional, friendly and most importantly; he was not pushy. We love Jeep so much, we kept our old one for the teenage daughter.

Service was good but short staff what made it difficult
I took my car to have the brake pads put on it. they charged me $435 for a rotor and draining the brake fluid out plus the pads. I will never ever buy another vehicle from this place. The car had sixty thousand miles and this was the first time it had been in for brake service. this was the fourth vehicle I bought from these people never had any problem before. Im guessing it was a new shop foreman.

Wouldnt buy from again If life depends on it, sold me a vehicle and Said nothing had been wrong with it. Once I got the vin number it had been in 2 previous wrecks, also sold 2k more that blue book value. Had a house fire and lost same vehicle had gap coverage and full insureance. Insurance did their part but King cotton did not pay out full gap i had pay almost 1k to pay off loan.

I have to say I was so worried when our diesel truck sensor came on saying water in the fuel tank. We already had it in the dealership back home for the same problem 2 weeks earlier and here we are almost 6 hours from home. I called and explained my issue I had to get back to my family asap. Well we towed the truck the 40 miles we were away and Ill tell you! Best service from a dealership!! EVERY STEP OF THE WAY ADAM called me to update what he did was doing and wanted to do! He got my truck in moved it to the front of the list and got me back on the road THAT NIGHT and my truck didnt get there until 2 pm almost!!! Come to find out the dealership back home which I hate with a passion and thats complimenting to say that just basically did a half ass job and nicked the sensor wire which triggered it off and didnt bother to change the filter but I paid for it. So Adam fixed it said I was good to go and I was on my way I asked are you sure Im ok and he said maam I could charge you for other things but you dont need anything else your all good! I THANK YOU SO MUCH ADAM IF YOU READ THIS YOU SAVED MY WALLET WHICH MY FAMILY THANKS YOU AND ME FROM HAVING A MAJOR STRESSED FILL ANXIETY ATTACK WHICH MY HUSBAND GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!
Great and friendly crew got my car back in a timely manner
If I could give them negative stars, I would.King Cotton ended up keeping my Durango for 12 days for an alternator recall that was supposed to have been replaced in May 2018. Now, fast forward to the end of Aug. I called Chrysler on the 12th day (9/12, Wednesday) and the lady told me to go to King Cotton and to call her (Patricia) back before I left there. They (Bobby) told me it was ready. I go out to get the babies car seats out of the loaner car and when I get to the Durango, the 1st thing I noticed is that the cover that’s supposed to be over the battery, under the passenger seat, isn’t in place, so there’s an opening and a hole in the floor. I go back inside and ask if someone can put it on for me. Two service guys come out to replace the cover. Then I leave and don’t even get 3 mins up the road and all of the sudden the battery light comes back on. I turn around to head back to King Cotton and Bobby tells me there’s nothing else he can do. For me to take it by a local parts store and have them test my battery & alternator or I can wait until Tuesday for an appointment to take it back and pay $120.00 for them to run a diagnostic on it. I argue back & forth with him. End up going outside to my Durango and calling Chrysler again. She places me on hold, ends up calling Bobby, comes back to me and tells me there’s nothing else I can do except work with King Cotton or take it to another dealership and pay for the diagnostics, even though I’d have to pay for the diagnostics to be ran on it at King Cotton too. She also tells me that Bobby told her that he came out when I took it back the 2nd time, and he ran diagnostics on it then. I firmly told her he was a liar and has been through this whole ordeal, along with Jacob. That Bobby never even stepped out from behind the service counter. So now we have the Durango, but it’s doing the same exact thing it was doing before I had it towed to King Cotton. I have no idea what to do now. They kept it for 12 days and obviously didn’t fix it! I guess I should try to come up with the $120.00 to have diagnostics ran on it at another dealership then go from there...this is ridiculous and I WILL NEVER take a vehicle to King Cotton again. I also WILL NEVER recommend them to anyone! EVER!!! I have enough on my plate with my health and now no way to get the kids back & forth to work or myself back & forth to my doctors appointments! I have no idea what to do! After about a month of back and forth with King Cotton I was finally able to take my truck to another local dealership. Chrysler agreed to pay for everything! We absolutely love Mr. Tim! And Homer Skelton! I wish I had never taken my truck to King Cotton! If y’all EVER need a good place to take your vehicle, take it to Homer Skelton Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep in Millington and make sure you tell Mr. Tim I sent ya!

I bought from King Cotton Ford in the past. Had a very bad experience with the Ford side. Poor Sales/Service Department and such. Thought Id give the Chrysler side a shot and just not much different. They sold me a Certified Pre-Owned which if I could do over I wouldnt. The sales pitch was it came with a 7 year warranty. Well they never did their side of the warranty process because every time I called Chrysler warranty Department they still showed only 5 years on the warranty term. Then when I called about it they made a short effort to say that I didnt buy it through the Certified Pre-Owned program, but I shot that down fast. Point is if I would have never called Mopar myself then King Cotton never would have did their side of the warranty process and I would have been out of luck. Now the 2017 Certified Pre-Owned truck keeps throwing check engine lights. At first they cleared it and I told them it has done the same to me and it will come right back. It did, so now I have to sit here and wait and the service worker didnt want me to even leave it here today. Also said he couldnt give me a ride home. I just had a vasectomy and am in intense pain but have to sit in their piss poor waiting room. Im about to call a cab and pay out of my own pocket to go home and get my pain medicine. This place sucks. Soon as they get their money you dont matter anymore. Plus Im being ing my truck back due to them not troubleshooting correctly the first time and taking the path of least resistance l. Warranties on cars are just about worthless. God have mercy on the next SOB that sales me a car. King Cotton was a bad experience but they have educated me on what the watch for.
