I brought my car in for a smog check and Hu told me its $30 pass or fail which Im ok with and tells me it will take 30 minutes sounds good. After I waited in the parking lot next to my car for 40 minutes he comes out pops my hood and says I have an oil leak and modified exhaust. First my car is bone stock and even if the exhaust would have been modified it has nothing to do with the smog check and then tells me he wont smog it because of the oil leak and referred me to another shop. If that shop is freinds with this guy I want no part of it guys a joke went down to Dannys smog on Arrow Hwy in Azusa was $40 & spent a total of 30 minutes no waiting or BS excuses like this loser

The Asian mechanic is very Rude and he messed up the value of my 2010 Is 250 by putting less mileage than I bought the car had 68k Miles when purchased 1 year later when my car had 74k miles he put that it came in with Only 64K miles basically ruining the Value of my vehicle with Mileage Inconsistency and due to his Mistake it cost me Thousands and the guy is very rude, condescending and self centered. Stay Away from this shop plus Im not the only person that has had major problems with this shop.

This a one man shop. Hu is the owner. I have a 2002 Lexus SC430 and a 1998 Infiniti QX4. Ive been taking them to Hu since 2011.He is honest, knowledgeable, goes the extra mile, and is reasonably priced.The shop is good size and well equipped. Its a little dirty and run down, but hey its an auto repair shop. He gets things time fairly quick. Location and parking are fine. Several restaurants within a block if you want to eat while hes working. Sometimes communication is a little challenging.The only criticism I have is that sometimes the work isnt on par with a dealership. Things were fixed, but not quite up to par with a dealer. Also, Ive had to bring a vehicle back on more than one occasion. But when I have, hes OCD about making it right.On the plus side Hu saved me significant money by finding cheaper parts when I ve asked him to look Hes suggest deferring repair work when it made sense. And he recently did work under his own warranty.If you need top notch work and price isnt a concern, then I dont suggest SES Automotive Services. If you are more value oriented, and okay with 90% work/quality for significantly less expense than dealerships (e.g. 50%+ savings), then I highly recommend SES Auto!

I asked a mechanic to diagnose my cylinder 3 misfire. He was trying to sell me other services I did not need I left my truck there then I went back I saw that he was adding Lucas to my oil overfilling by one quart he said I needed to replace all my spark plugs even though I did them a thousand miles ago he said since hes doing a fuel injection service that they would be feld up that theywould need to be replaced I asked for my old one back before he did the work he threw them away I picked them out the out the trash and they were fine no need to replace them I work on my own car so I know my truck he wonted 250 for all the work he says he did and on top of that he disconnected the battery to reset the check engine light instead of using an OBD scanner to do it properly now I have to redo my radio settings so unprofessional he was trying to scam me and I caught him I only paid him $150 to be done with it I do not recommend anybody go here .

Scamer, this mechanic over filled my oil, he replaced my spark plugs and I didnt need that, he charged me for services I did not agree to. He is a scammer and terrible mechanic. Do Not Use him!!!!!!

Took my car in to see what was wrong. They said it needed a oil change, and the breaks needed to be fixed, and a new battery . I purchased all these things, including having to pay for them to install this and work on it, and the car still isn’t working .
