Excellent customer service at this location as always. As soon as I walked in I was greeted. My most favorite part of shopping at Home Depot is how all the employees are so welcoming and patient. I went yesterday for some recessed lighting. Frank and another young man were so helpful. I really admire how Frank took his time to help me find what I was looking for and taught me something about the color choice on setting the lighting.💓 . Thank you Home Depot for hiring employees that are really helpful and great at their job.

Warning about Christmas tree!I purchased a small 2-3ft Christmas tree for my daughter today and we had it in the room by her toys and there was a spider coming down from the roof a few hours later then I opened up the tree to spread the branches and a 2nd spider dropped out of it. And thats the one shown on a piece of tape. Those look like they wouldve sent any one of us to the hospital or worse. So now Im not gonna get any sleep looking to make sure theres no more spiders and I threw the tree outside

Great indoor plants selections. They usually have some very hard to find plants here. The price are usually better than your local nurseries. The customer service and cashier friendliness could improve.

I went to the Home Depot an Covina, left my name and number and some information on the part I needed on American wood master. I went in today to start all over again and was told the person I need to talk to was not in the store but if I need that part I could go to another Home Depot store. I talked to a clerk in the San Dimas home depot store and she gave me all the information I needed. Around 1:30 PM September 13th 2021 I received a call from the Covina Home Depot. They apologized for the delay and gave me additional information on how to obtain the necessary parts to repair my cabinets. I really appreciated the customer service I got at that time from the Covina Home Depot store.

Forget Lowes! Home Depot workers actually know what they are talking about. They dont just read the labels in front of you. Better prices. Less hassle on returns. They understand that things happen when youre building. The only downfall is that more and more they are getting into self checkout. Other than that Go Home Depot! Lowes Blows 😜

Tanya and the other lady in flooring are best 2 home depot ladies I have ever met in the 40 years I been going in and out of stores all over the country. They went above what I commonly get as far as customer service I live 20 miles away and I past 3 home depots just to goto this one to get help from them so now this is my goto store its out of the way but its worth it for my larger projects went yesterday and spent 1k on some paint and got treated almost as good as I was treated in the flooring section. A big thumbs up for this staff.

Home depot is different now day from the good old days. Theres little to no really help other than getting to be told what aisle to search for what you the customer is looking for. Theres no more fast good technical help or tips. But to be fair thats is the new customer service norm all around us. Not just at this store

In the morning the place is clean and tidy. When we wanted to pay with cash, theyre were blocked and we waited more than 10 minutes for them to help us, but the support of the homedepot staff never came, so after going three times to different boxes to receive none of them supported us. bad service to the public.

Erin and Carlos from the Blinds section helped us with the cutting of our blinds and ordering custom sized. Guess what, El Monte and Baldwin Park branches staff just disappeared on us and made us wait more than 45 mins while waiting for help to someone to cut the blinds when you see a lot of staff just standing and pretending to be busy by wiping the bottles on display stand. It took Carlos a minute to cut the blinds thats why I don’t understand why the guys in El Monte branch and Baldwin Park took forever to do it. Just go to this branch in West Covina or Monrovia where the staff are helpful.

Without them there would be no BBQ, ill be looking to buy a truck next 😬

Not so good plumbing section has many empty boxes. They dont order items until they are out of the items. Another trick is they will put another item in the empty spot so it looks good. Bad supervision not customer focused.

I am looking to purchase one of their used tools from the rental area. They have a floor polisher listed as available but every time I go in to look for one they tell me it is not available. I always ask them why it is on the sign and the sales people give me a universally useless answer. The sign hasnt been updated in a while. It was just sold. Its broken. I dont understand why they dont just take it off the sign if they dont want to sell it.

IF YOU ORDER FROM HERE, deliveries will take 3+ months before fulfilled. They will sell you major appliances that they claim to have in stock, but make up lies when your orders are nowhere to be found the day of your delivery. And the moment you report issues, multiple people will introduce themselves as managers but when you call back for updates, all of a sudden they all are actually not managers. So unprofessional!NOTE: AT ALL COST, DO NOT order from Home Depot if they are still using TEMCO LOGISTICS for their deliveries and installs (You can even check their reviews). The workers and drivers at TEMCO LOGISTICS will purposefully damage your orders to avoid installs that were sold by Home Depot.Update: Been calling for an update and they keep hanging up the phone very unprofessional. Problem still not resolved!!

I took my kids this morning to home Depot for the kids workshop they had going on. Decembers workshop was to build a Christmas countdown calendar. All Home depot staff in the workshop area were extremely friendly. It was our first time for the kids workshop we will definitely return in the future.

All it takes is one bad employee to ruin your impression of a store. A cashier by the name of “Stephanie“ was horrible! Made many mistakes, cost me time to go back into the store to have her mistakes corrected. When I approached her about her mistakes her attitude was “I make mistakes you got to go somewhere else to get them fixed“.

A bit crowded however people were wearing masks. Seems some people understand keeping a 6 distance and some do not. The store has stickers on the floor to help with this however it still relies on people taking action.

On a very busy Saturday, I received assistance and information from a number of informed and courteous employees. Always hard to walk through Home Depot without finding a number of things to buy,even though they werent what I came to purchase. I shopped in the electrical department and was somewhat confused when I discovered that electrical tools were divided into different areas within the department. Separated by different types of wiring or end use, had me wandering around like being in IKEA. Fortunately, one employee who was helping me, spotted a regular customer who was an electrician. The employee solicited a free consultation for me, which aided in my shopping. Also had great customer support offered in the self checkouts. Store was well staffed for a overwhelmingly busy weekend. Much better than being in a store on a lonely weekday afternoon. Also noted good support staff in the parking lot.
