Similar to Costa Mesa location. Lower level is parking, upper 2 stories are the store. Line is in the parking area under the store (in the shade). Pick up and click & collect are very conveniently located right near the entrance/exit. Freight elevators from checkout to parking are roomy.Location is visible from freeway.
Never been here but glad i have experience it. This place has everything you would need for home goods. On exception of popular items like dressers and some room furniture that are on backorder. The layout is like a maze so you just follow the arrows to get the complete experience. I enjoyed the displays, they show you how certain things look in use and even give you ideas of how you can change things up in your own home.
Cheap home items of every variety, almost all made in China. The labyrinth passages forcing you to walk through much of the store youre not interested in waste customers time and make finding what you really want difficult. If youre into just looking at everything and buying cheap, this can be a good place to go. If youre looking for mid-level quality items or better, dont go to Ikea.
Missing in store items they claim to have in stock online (on more than one visit). New items advertised are often not in the store. They had items in stock I wanted as well but told me their picking system is down so the best they could do is text me to come back later.
Youll find the things you need to organize clothing, shoes, dressers, closets. They also have show rooms with ideas on how to maximize your living space. 🧺👗👜👠
Everything was out of stock. When trying to find an employee its a game of finding Wheres Waldo. The bathrooms were not being checked, no seat covers, no tp. Everyone was entering the store, no limit. Kids running and screaming on every corner. The items that you have to get are not in the correct section. Parking was not to bad, and checkout was quick. I wish every area wouldve had a hand sanitizer area, the shared computers had wipes.
First time ever going. I was blown away with all the nice stuff and very affordable. Can hardly wait until I can go and buy my cabinets I need for my kitchen.
The employees were very helpful and patient but the loading process at the furniture pickup area took so long (2 hours), 2 hours just to find my closet doors and handles and load them into my car. IKEA should do something to make the process more efficient.
Prices are extremely high for low quality but whatever works for the ppl. Went there to get a dining table and chairs but just the chairs itself I paid 432.00 when other places I could get the whole set at about same price. It wasnt for me but still too much I liked a couple things and the displays but not my favorite place to shop for furniture
I always love shopping in IKEA and this was my first time visiting IKEA at Covina. The return and exchange service desk was very organized, I just wish they had like a token system of calling out customers. I think It would be a good add on at the service and a better way rather than calling out the customer names.
Had everything that I wanted!! I even had a 10.00 coupon to use for my purchase today!! The store was clean. Not that many people shopping. Everyone had a mask on. Great experience.
Was in the area and decided to go check out IKEA. This place was might second time to visit over 5 years now. First was amazing. Needed some house things and I like how you can visualize what you want with the multitude of options you can decide on before your purchase. Decided on some items and none of the them were in or at the bin. Kinda disappointed about that. Decided to get food because the smell of food filled the air by the checkout stand, so We purchased swedish meatball meal with lingonberry sauce and the mashed potatoes which were dry. Also purchased the cinnamon rolls which to my surprise was hard and dry. Maybe this was an off day. It smelled so good which compelled us to buy it initially from the deli section along with the aforementioned meal. Maybe I shouldnt have purchased anything at all. Not a good day.
I didnt find what I needed. They have very little to choose from. I find that this store is more for big furniture. Its very limited for small decor. Well at least for me.
Good inexpensive stuff!!!!Great place to fantasize and get lost in. Try the Apple sparkling waters they mix well with Titos Vodka... a bottle was $3.99. I picked up $2 little throw rug. Got cool candy canisters for $2.80. Picked up some dope chopsticks. Tea lights are always a steal and if you want nice cheap glassware this is the spot!
The workers were very friendly and helpful when we needed to find an item. Found some awesome chairs and bedroom accessories for a good price. Definitely gonna try to buy more of what I need next time.
The staff was helpful (not a given). Parking easy. Easy to get in and easy to get out.
Ive been to a lot of Ikeas in the past, but this one is one of the best. The showrooms are very cute, and I love how there are a lot of outdoor showrooms! It was a little crowded but not so much that it impacted the flow of people. The Swedish meatballs were tasty, and I love the lingonberry jam that comes with it.The little cafe downstairs didnt have a lot of options left, but I got the sundae which was pretty tasty.
One of my favorite shopping places. Today I went to request two screws that were missing in the package of a vanity I purchased. They no longer carry them in store but they will be shipped to my address. Very covenient.
The variety and the displays are wonderful. It really helps get a full idea of the design you want to do. Only hard part was the amount of waking required.
Awesome place to find cheap furniture. Food court is great!! Plant/Veggie balls are tasty!!
I am one of those people who like to assemble things and IKEA is the place to find these grown-up projects. The other great aspect of Covina IKEA is its restaurant with a nice view that is probably nicer view than most restaurants in the area. I highly recommend their coffee, chocolate cake, and salmon balls. Also on the way out behind the main checkout/cashier area you can get the Daim almond chocolate cakes which are very delicious and inexpensive.
Love this store theyre always wanting you to be satisfied if you not satisfied you may take it back save your receipts
I really love ikea. So this might seem as a mixed review. For our safety, they have port-o-sinks with soap and napkins all around so you can be mindful to wash your hands. Especially since you are touching as you look through things. I really appreciate that. The cafeteria is also closed. ( Wish you could at least do take out😔) and the real reason why they only got 4stars, is because half of the place is blocked off so people either are not touching everything in sight and or doing some redecorating? Not sure, but everything else was pretty low on stock or completely sold out. Majority of my items were sold out. This kinda stinks when you drive from 1 hr away. That is why, as much as i love ikea, they get only 4 stars 🌟. Some of it is out of their control and i understand, and i think we all should. One lady thing, if you hate caring all these cards in your wallet, now all you need to do a save your member card on your phone. Look it up on their system and email it to yourself.
IKEA was the best. Totally awesome. I was assisted by three extremely helpful store associates. I came in with a list, made a B-line for my items, but I couldnt find one thing. The associate found it for me then put a heavy chair onto my cart. After checking out two other associates helped load up my car. No fuss shopping totally worry free. Thanks IKEA
Typical Ikea experience, parking was ote difficult compared to the one in Burbank
Website said low stock. Went there and it was sold out... Which is fine.Asked an employee about it, to which he said it will be restocked on X/XX/21. Went back on that date, and it wasnt restocked.Another employee told me to buy it online, and pick in store. Went home attempted to buy online, but there was not an option for in-store pick up. Only an option to have the $50 coffee table to be delivered for $60. -____-Checked back a couple weeks later. Finally back in stock. Quick in, quick out.
Its new(er). The displays were well done and everything was fairly organized. But anything I was looking for was out of stock! And with very few employees to help.
Incredible place where Ive ever seen. Its very large and clean. Moreover, at the restaurant on second floor, I was able to have a lunch with unbelivable cheap price.
Of course this place is amazing its Ikea this store has it all I love parking in the parking structure when its a hot day Sooooo cool and close parking to entrance employees very helpful. Expect to spend a minimum of 1 hour shopping their huge selection of merchandise restaurant and restrooms are available and elevator and escalator for those in need
Went down to pickup a desk for my daughter and ended up spending a couple of hours just browsing through the warehouse. Looked down at my watch and said is it that late already? You can literally lose yourself in here! Great selection, quality products. Whats not to like?
Incompetence at its finest, apparently when you place an online order they don’t set your order aside and if it goes out of stock it’s out of stock, called customer service and apparently none of the employees have been there direct supervisors email, when asking to speak to a supervisor expect them to put you on hold for a long time then hang up on you, god forbid you ask for an employees name to speak to a supervisor about the service you are getting because you won’t get a full name either. Love their products but bad customer service just kills it for me
I ordered solely a single bookcase to be picked up through Click & Collect between 12-2pm. I never received an email that it was ready so at 3pm I called customer service and was told “Oh yeah it will be ready in 20 minutes”…as if I hadn’t been waiting all this time. If I hadn’t called, I’m sure it would’ve taken at least another 2 hours to know it was ready. I waited in the pickup area and was told numerous times that they were bringing my order out even though it was nowhere in site. On top of that, I noticed many other customers arriving after me and receiving their in store purchases first. I finally received my order at 3:50pm, 2 hours over the time I expected to have already gotten it. Super disappointed, never want to return IKEA after dealing with this mess. Get more organized or don’t offer online pick up at all.
A great place to buy furniture for your home, office, or business. They have many different options. Highly recommend
This really needs to be my second home. I give 5 stars because I miss you.
The shopping experience was a hassle. The ikea number shown online takes you to customer service that has no idea what’s going on inside the store. They claimed the product I wanted would be available mon, and I would be able to go is store to purchase the item before then. I met with the unfortunate news that is not true and I have to wait for the product to be available online. Then I would be able to purchase the item and either have it delivered or I could pick it up in store. I live in Rialto ca so going to West Covina is a 45 min drive minimum. I decided to try out the text option to let me know when the product would be available. Glad I did it bc the ikea app never let me know. Actually picking up the product was easy as the steps were easy to understand and people were there to assist. The product itself is turning into a longer project. I would have liked for the Instructions to include any words to help me out. At least it was what I wanted.
I was at the west Covina store Saturday moring 10/9. I was helped by Jarred (sorry if I spelled your name wrong). He was fantastic! He took his time with me. Showed me where to find my items, helped me put the heavy items on the cart and answered all of my questions. Thank you very much!
They have good food and very reasonable price! Check out their discounted sales too! How we wish theres Ikea in Riverside!
Great location and stock levels are generally full. They change up the displays often, so its always fun to walk through and get some inspiration for your next project at home. The checkout lines are incredibly long, especially on the weekends, but thats just a known hazard if shopping at IKEA. Overall, great store and Ill happily go back again.
Shopping there in person is fine, until you purchase online and then go to pick up. I waited over an hour for 3 items that is order online. That is unacceptable and will never purchase items online again, there process at this location is very unorganized and wasted ALOT of my time.
Parking is horrible. And EVERYTHING I liked was oversold. Total joke
Love this store ... So many ideas ... Great prices!
Love Ikea but theyve been hit hard with supply chain issues. Many popular furniture items were temporarily oversold. When you try to build something that takes 7 different components you cant build it at all if any of the components are unavailable. They do have items in stock but you may be out of luck if youre looking for something specific.Bottom line: Check availability first.
I really dont know why but, I love walking around here looking at all of the furniture that they have!
Staff is not very helpful and borderline rude when asked questions. They are more interested in talking to each other than actually helping the customers. Also a lot of the bed frames I looked at were oversold and the helpless staff members could not give a definitive date of availability.
For the price, everything is unbeatable! I think my favorite item I tried so far for their food is the vanilla soft serve with jam :)
Almost short on every thing now. My list 5 item only see the demo, but below the cabinet all empty. Good price but no stock so sad.
I enjoy going to Ikea to see their new products. They have some great idea for decorating small rooms. You can also stop at the restaurant for lunch
Very clean and very helpful staff even though I just walk around I just wish the lines were faster but I know thats the slow customers fault not the employees
This trip to ikea was a disappointment, oot of stock with most furniture. And the housewares were completely picked over. We had a list of things to get and nothing in stock
Really wish they would make this place less maze like. Also, they need more restrooms scattered on their maze. My kid almost didnt make it. Nearly everything we wanted was out of stock. They need to get stocked up!
The workers are so nice, they help me with the computer to pick up my stuff, and so fast
I love Ikea! I specifically went for a pair of curtains and a lamp. However, I walked out with more stuff. Its just too tempting to walk through all their pre-decorated rooms and not get ideas! The place wasnt too crowded, even for a Sunday. The lines were short and I found what I needed. They may want to keep an eye on stocking product, because I saw a few things low. It didnt affect me purchasing what I needed that day. I will definitely be back.
Managed to pick up a couple things we needed but they are sold out of almost any bedroom furniture, along with every other store in California. Been this way for months.Swedish meatballs were on point as always though.
There was a great stock and the store was clean and organized. The prices are decent and relatively cheaper but not exactly cheap. However the quality seemed great and there were some cheaper items in each section. It was a bit hot in the store. I felt it should be cooler if you are going to be trying chairs out etc. I dont like the stores layout. There should be more exits or a more open space. I understand that maybe it helps keep a steady flow but I shouldnt have to see the entire store if Im only there for a few things. I was also a bit surprised we were approached only once by an employee when checking on some couches. We were there for a couch, 2 beds, a dining table, patio furniture, comfy chairs and various home items like curtains and rugs but we left without buying anything even though we saw some things we might order online now. Overall the atmosphere was nice and the experience wasnt bad so I give it 4 but would probably give more like a 3.5.
I absolutely loved it here ! Best service ever ! Kind and concerned service from every employee there . Great reflection on management. I live in Burbank but the store there was atrocious. From now on I will come all the way from Burbank just to shop at this store and I will tell all my friends how wonderful this place is here. This is the best Ikea Ive ever been to.
Theres nothing there. Most of the shelves are pretty empty.
Its really one of the best way to go and buy some stuff for our house..!
I dont know why people plan on Ikea but great furniture great prices its a lot of stuff great customer service the line sometimes are not that bad not in the parking lot yeah they need to fix the problem in the parking lot
Love it here!! Always in stock and excellent prices.
This ikea is, yes better than the burbank ikea. (i went to the burbank one so many years thats saying something. theyre both awesome and fun but this one is slightly better. the parking lot is confusing (just to find underground but this view is from the top parking lot) one employee was a little meh she mustve had a bad day or something because asking 2 questions (separately) was like pulling teeth. but every other employee i spoke with was helpful, informative, interested and kind so i didnt think it was fair to mark down the stars based off one sour employee. also for those of you who like privacy, ikea is one of the only* locations i have found (in america) to have stalls that do not have that odious gap that renders you visible to passers-by. your frugal friends will LOVE ikea there are items under a $1 one thing to note, sometimes exiting can feel like a hassle because youre turning and it can feel endless so i recommend going when you have t i m e to walk and enjoy the many sections because they have great sample items (like the lighting you can try the actual lights they have them set up for you) they have dishes, dorm essentials, and those blessed meatballs we all flock here for. they still have them for take-out right now and i liked the food here better than burbank because it tasted better, was more presentable and stored in a great way. can you believe they sell hot dogs for 75 cents here? even if you dont walk out with a couch, or desk its great!
Staff is very unhelpful and rude. Luckily the prices are reasonable but I definitely wont be coming back her. Just came to get a bed for my daughter and the service staff was unprofessional.
Great finds for every home.
Not the greatest quality but worth the price. I like to make a day out of it when I go there. Usually end up with some stuff that I didn’t know I needed! I like eating there too. The only downside for me, although I had good experiences with warehouse people, they don’t have the nicest cashiers!
Here is pick up your order place !the man shown in the pic, stand over there doing nothing help their customer, waste your over there hrs to wait !call ikea manager make claim, no body answer, this is how they trade customers!never go back
Quick & Easy visit. Helpful staff. Great selection.
Crowed. Very crowded. Lots of items were either out of stock of oversold whatever that means. Apparently its different from being out of stock? Save yourself some time, buy online and pickup in store. Still the best place for cheap furniture though. I really wish someone else gave them solid competition. But alas, we have to take the mediocrity they give.
Fun place to shop. The place is huge! Definitely recommend!
Click and Collect is on the lower level of the parking lot, so it is difficult to get a good cell signal - which is needed to let the customer service rep know you have arrived and to bring out your items. There was wifi from IKEA, but I could not connect to it.At least the signage was clear, so the pickup location was easy to find. After getting out of my car and talking to the customer service rep, showing him my order number, my item was brought out quickly; I only had to wait two or three minutes.
Easy to find stuff. Self-check out line available.
Love IKEA. But theyre always out of the cool stuff here.
Staffs are quite helpful. Good place for your furniture needs
BC I like their furniture style is simple& stylish.
It look big but didnt have all the necessary home furniture and the extra things you would look for in a bigger akia Store.
Pretty busy on Sundays but just as good as the one in burbank.
Covina is a great store. Employees are helpful and everything is clearly marked with descriptions and prices. Pickup for the bulk items are down in the parking garage which is fine and you drive your car right up to the spot. Because of everything going on, stock in store is kind of minimal. Especially dressers and tables.
I have to say the line was very long to get in however went really quickly. I was pleasantly surprised that its not such a maze anymore. It was pretty easy to find your way around. The signage has definitely improved a great deal. The only complaint I have is that most of the lower priced popular furniture products were either temporarily unavailable or out of stock. Could be that shipping and deliveries are delayed due to the pandemic.
Makes me want to spend money but in a good way
Ikea Home Furnishings located in west Covina California is a huge full service furnishings supply warehouse and restaurant!Loads of free parking, family and physically challenged friendly and has a large staff ready to help your every need and answer any question.Youll have a great day at IKEA and dont forget to stop in to their snack bar or dining area on the second floor for breakfast, lunch or dinner!
It was good to be there again. But there was so many things out of stock
You get what you pay for. Some times are cheaply made and hard to put together. Dont get me wrong though, Ive purchased a lot from IKEA and Im stuff using the furniture to this day. I love that its inexpensive but i have had a few items break on me, Luckily nothing big. The place is huge and popular. Thankfully there is enough walking room to space yourself apart from people while shopping. Its so much a maze anymore either. They knocked down a couple walls so you can jump though departments but you do have to go all the way to check out to leave.
I think that most their stuff is a bit outdated nowadays. Still a great place but I wish there would come up with some new designs.
Enjoy coming here with my kids. Well stocked, Best soft serve but I think the ice cream closes at 7pm tho, make sure you come early😆
Always love Ikea. Sadly with this Covid situation its hard to get in. A lot of people. But anyway always a great shopping experience.
Great experience. lots of sanitizer available and great catalog of available and non available products.
Had everything I was looking for My online orders were a smooth transaction, . Customer Service is very helpful store is very well kept and sanitize all registers were open .
They do not help you carry the furniture into your truck horrible service.
Nice didnt have what I wanted in stock so bummer
Very organized in providing public safety, especially now during the uprise in COVID cases. The only negative remark is to address the poor check out process. Lack of employees to handle a very busy Saturday turnout!
I mean, its IKEA. Home of the worlds tastiest balls and coziest interiors. Even if you dont buy anything just go to hangout for a bit.
Well at least its open for indoor shopping with strict Covid safety awareness strictly enforced. A lot of the displays were under construction and they have a lot of empty racks. Low on inventory but Ill blame it on the virus. The restaurant is closed due to the virus but u can still buy some food at the checkout fast food. Get there early to avoid long wait lines. They are only letting a few customers at a time.
Went looking for shelves, came away with tons of ideas to go another way. Great store.
