Food and service subpar sorry 😢 but I would recommend somewhere else.

We have been coming to this location since it opened, and Im so delighted that they are back after the pandemic. The service here is always excellent, as is the food.Patiently waiting the return of smoked salmon on the pizza, and also on the avocado toast. Also looking forward to it being open regular hours so we can come in for dinner. Truly an asset to South Coast plaza.

Stuck in the hotel and had to order out. First time with GrubHub which was a great experience. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and when it arrived I opened the box to find about an ounce of chicken in the box. Not great when you are stuck in a hotel room and hungry.

I called to place an order, they answered the phone and set it down on the counter. No one spoke to me and I’m calling to place an order! Their customer service is beyond terrible even in person. Definitely won’t be coming back here ever again.

Food is all excellent 4 star. Service not so much. Meatloaf and pizzas are top notch. Apple Tarte is superb.

Just went in for a quick bite....We only had the appetizers but they were extremely good!

Excellent crab cakes but salty tuna appetizer. Great salmon pizza too. However, burger was cooked to medium well (medium rare ordered) and the skirt steak was well done. Came here twice and ordered the same dishes and were shocked how different the food was the second time (worse most likely due to the chef who prepared it). Flavor was definitely excellent as well as the floor service. Will return again and see if the food experience improves.

Extremely delicious food in a grossly under staffed restaurant.Our server was physically running around. This location desperately needs an outdoor patio host as well as a few bussers circulation to refill drinks.Waited forty-five minutes on a Saturday afternoon for two sandwiches & a burger. Perhaps the kitchen is also under staffed? Our water was never refilled.If this place had better service, I would come back more often because the food is good.

A little pricey but good food.

The food is pretty good. I ordered the sea bass but it tastes a little like trout. The bacon wrapped meatloaf was moist and it was a large portion size. The crab cake were a little too doughy. The butternut squash soup was good.

I have been a customer for years at this location. The food is always great tasting. My favorites are the chicken wrap, rigatoni bolognese and there pizza. They are open for take out, park by the Macy’s Men store and you will see the restaurant to the left of the Macy’s men’s store.

Had roasted chicken, grilled perfectly. Garlic spinach, garlic did not over power spinach. Market vegetables that were very delicious. Our server was Louie, he made our evening very delightful and pleasant..

Pesto shrimp is absolutely delicious! Fresh with the right amount of seasoning. Shrimps are the perfect size. One thing I would like is a bit more pasta to compliment the savory taste. Best one eve!!

I work at South Coast Plaza so I eat here very often. First off, the employees are all over the top amazing!! So friendly and very efficient!!I can’t say I’ve had a bad dish here. My faves would be their new Thai pizza & spring rolls. They have a fabulous Caesar that I add blackened chicken to and it is amazing.My one request would be that they have daily soups, they always have a yummy chicken tortilla but the other offering is butternut squash soup (all year) no changes. It would be awesome to have a variety (split pea, tomato basil, corn chowder, etc.)

This place simply knows how to serve their clients. Consistently with a very welcoming demeanor. The food is fairly priced, always delightful and clean.

Very nice dining space attached to Macys second floor. Easy to get to from upper level parking near Macys area valet. Lots of light and view of patio. Very balanced lunch menu. Includes variety appetizer, salad, sandwich,pasta pizza and entrees. Shrimp BLT was outstanding as was the bacon wrapped meatloaf. Easy to customize. Attentive service.

Had lunch here twice. The chicken tortilla soup and caesar salad good lunch combo. Ceasar is big enough to split. Soup is very flavorful and rich so you only need a cup instead of bowl.

Great food and excellent service. The pesto shrimp is the best Ive ever had. Its a bistro dining with service comparable to many fine dining Ive been to. Great place for brunch with friends and family.

The mighty have not fallen, but they have stumbled. Ive been coming to this eaterie at South Coast Plaza for many years. Last weekend a dear friend and I decided to eat there. I wanted lunch and she wanted a snack. We noticed that there was no more bread basket. Why not? We are not all gluten-free! They charge enough to warrant bread. Our side salads were very good, fresh and flavorful. I had the shrimp pesto...so wonderful, and tasty. My friend ordered the fried calamari, which was really not worthy of Wolfie....a little mushy. You read that right. I sampled one piece and was surprisingly disappointed. Our shared dessert was an apple gallatin with ice cream and caramel sauce. The dessert was delicious, but the caramel sauce, which was on the side tasted exactly like sweetened, condensed milk that had been lightly browned. Thats a big miss. I did have coffee with my dessert and that was organic and tasted fantastic. Either way, we both enjoyed our meal and will return. Its just that the place has sadly lost its former luster and commitment to excellence. The bill was $59 including tip. You be the judge.

After a day of shopping with my wife & son, we were getting hungry. And no wonder, it was 5pm. So as we walked back to were we had parked. We saw a sign, Wolfgang Pucks Kitchen. Walked thru Macys and there it was. Not the restaurant, one is familiar with. This is the Kitchen not the same and frankly disappointing.It was all just ok. The serving staff, food, presentation, cleanliness, etc. again, just disappointed.In my opinion, go elsewhere and probably someplace out & away from the mall.In an attempt to be generous!!2 1/2 out of 5 Stars.

Terrific service, very personable, and worthy of the Wolfgang Puck name at affordable prices. We had the meatloaf which was the best - thanks to our waiter who recommended it.

I have always heard wonderful thing about this place but I finally got a chance to try it recently and Im totally in love with their food. I ordered the pasta and a pesto chicken salad sandwich. Both items were surprisingly very good and extremely refreshing. The ingredients that was used tasted extremely fresh. The wait staff seemed kind, but they were very busy so we didnt really get a chance to talk to them. This was around 1130 in the morning, yet it took 30+minutes before we got our food. The food was good, but the wait is atrocious considering there were only 6 parties in the restaurant at this time.

They certainly like to push bottled water on you. An explanation of the qualities of aquapana and sparkling water just sounds condescending. And there is no need to look disappointed when a 10 year old says, Just regular water, please. The pizza my daughter and I shared was very good. Kudos to the ungreasy, perfectly thin crust. The shrimp pesto pasta my other daughter had was a disappointment. Very small portion and three shrimp. Trust me they were not hard to count! The place is very clean and the service is quick.

Theyre seasonal coffees and drinks are really good, the only regular coffee I buy there is the Americana, I cant drink mixed blended beans it causes me great pain. It must be 100% arabica or Colombian.

For some reason Google took this post down it was that most horrible experience of the restaurant between bugs in the restaurant and poor service dirty dishes dirty glassware. My glasses across the hallway perion not much for 1st full but that would have been much better

Lousy service. I constantly had to look for the waitress. Looked for her to get water, refill water, salad dressing, looked for her to bring the check and finally to pick up the check and bring it back with my credit card. She was always out of sight. I had to ask the other waitress 3 times to find my waitress. The pasta was very oily and the salad dressing was not fresh either.Wolfgangs reputation is being sullied.

The food is fantastic the Rigatoni Alfredo is so delicious the goat cheese was so creamy I love the texture of muchrooms, chicken and pees and the Rosted Samon presentation was stunning. It was cooked perfectly the service was fantastic. I would definitely go back. Two thumbs up on the food and service. 👍🏻👍🏻

It is worthy of the rating. The food is unmatched by far. The cuisine is definitely five star and the chef, JT, makes sure the product is perfect in every detail. The bar is set high and they deliver on service and quality of food. Im not a wrap eater but I truly enjoyed the grilled chicken wrap. I deplore bread and butter pickles but I have to eat my words. Theres were delicious. The bigeye tuna salad, OMG!. Great place to eat after a day of shopping.

Starting to lose its edge. No longer offers bread, although the bread plate is still there, also they have a secret happy hour, not posted anywhere and you must ask for its menu, and the happy hour wine and drinks are not on this menu! Maybe because its so small, maybe 5×7, make that 4×6Ordered the beet salad, and its getting smaller and smaller. Pizza remains the same, good.

Went for the first time for lunch. I ordered the meatloaf which is generally not recommended but it was very good. I would go again.
