I was very surprised by how great everything tasted- fresh and cooked perfectly. I have never ordered a coconut but Im so glad I did. Never thought a fresh coconut would taste so good! I loved my pork chop rice, so savory. My friend ordered a filet mignon rice and it was so tender. Definitely coming back here! Service was excellent. Thank you Neo!
Small convenient Vietnamese restaurant in Irvine. We went there upon a chance as the other restaurant had a really long wait. Surprisingly nice to-the-point menu, quick service, friendly staff, fresh food and large portions. Parking is a challenge in that area but worth the trouble.Edit- Went there again for a takeout. Still the same great food and service.
I was excited to go after looking at the reviews and seeing how it was so close to me. It was pretty decent, I didn’t really enjoy the broth flavor thaf much but the staff was super nice and great! I also got it to go once and the noodles were hard but I think it’s better when you go in person.
Orders Bahn mi took over 40 mins !
Im not gonna put even 1 star on this pho saigon.. the phos broth was not good... its taste like rubber it is not worth it .. why the hell that broth taste like rubber. Never go back again
Food and service were both amazing. This is a good place for family or yourself.
The pho is excellent, fairly priced, and quickly served. The staff are fast, helpful and attentive. The store itself is clean and features a nicely decorated interior.
Great place - love the authenticity. We were seated outside due to covid - the service was great and the portions were very large. We took home quite a bit of leftovers. Definitely will come back. This restaurant unlike the other restaurants like the curry house or Tim Ho Wan didn’t have a line which is great. Not to mention there was also a lot of value in it. They give you a ton of meat in the pho noodles which seems to be so rare now in times that restaurants are so ungenerous in their portions. So thank you
One of the best Pho you could ever have by Diamond Jamboree 💜 Their menu selections are pretty good! 😍
Great spot for Vietnamese food. This place satiated my need for pho during the pandemic and they never failed to fill that void. The soup is flavorful and they provide a healthy portion of various meats. Their rice dishes are pretty excellent too. Also want to give a shout out to their summer rolls!
My friend and I went here for a somewhat late dinner. Order 2 dishes and 2 drinks. Satisfied with all of them. Actually I ordered #38 on the menu, Cơm Bò Lúc Lắc, but I asked the restaurant to give me noodles instead of rice. So they brought me a not-on-menu kinda dish, and I have to say, I wasnt disappointed at all. Very well made.Oh and the atmosphere at the restaurant was also very friendly, the waiters and waitresses here were all very helpful.
Quick service and excellent takes on your favorites.
This a basic place. The broth is bland. There are better pho places that taste better and cost less.
Need to hire more workers, food shouldnt take 2 hr to prepare
Great service, but uninteresting broth. There are much better places to go for phoa in Irvine
Really amazing food. The service was great.
Fast service, good food and good price. Lots of indoor and outdoor seatings
Best place for great pho and spring rolls.
Had rare steak phở. Its just bad. I wonder if they ever eat their own food? Two stars for having the correct ingredients there
Open to public, states it closes at 9 but that just for service, you can still sit at the outdoor seating. I just wish theyd turn the heaters on outside because it was a bit cold when I went, but other than that it was great.
Not exactly Kim vu but it will do
Good for late night authentic Vietnamese food. Lots of fresh pretty veg. for vegetarian chả giò plate, grilled Pork for Bun Thit Noung was 😋 for me but a little large chunks size and fatty for my wifes liking, but good flavor. My Bo Kho had good taste but thin broth for a Stew, no Bahn (bread) available just Noodles or Rice. Cà Phê Sữa đá very good but no (hot) cà phê sữa nóng 🤔 available, but was on menu.Little kid 7yr at next table with family couldnt keep his feet under his table, tap tap dozen+ times, but knew the lyrics to the music on the TV, cute but annoying 🙄. Left place full and happy. Good service friendly very busy staff. 😊 . Ill come back to try Bo Luc Lac (shaken beef) one of my fav late night meals. 😃
Great pho and awesome hosting staff. All around a great experience
I came here for lunch with my co-workers and was not impress. I had high hope for this place when I walked in and was intrigued by their beautiful lanterns and wall decors. The service was nice and quick. The food, on the other hand...not so sure.I ordered a large bowl of pho #10 Combination Soup. The broth was quite bland even after several attempts to doctor it up with the hoisin sauce and sriracha. It didnt seem to have that depth of flavors that a good bowl of pho should have. The beef flank was hard and chewy. I tried to like it but I couldnt. Its not bad for a large bowl of pho that only costs $11 considering they locate in Diamond Jamboree Plaza but still, I dont think I would come back again.
Really good food. I will definitely go back soon.
Super delicious, will be coming back
I always get my pho to pick up and it’s great every time, never disappoints and always leaving me full and satisfied with my meal.
Love this place. Parking is tricky be careful. Tang the manager is absolutely amazing he always make sure that the food I order is exactly how I order it due to my particular diet I have to have. Hes often there at night and its always a delight to see him :-) I love this place no matter what time of day to eat its one of the best pho Vietnamese places Ive ever had many have had the pho soup noodles themselves except I have yet to try it but I have heard raving reviews the vegetarian delicious are absolutely amazing and with my lack of a gallbladder I never have trouble digesting the food the decor is beautiful with the beautiful photographs representing North middle and South Vietnam however the photographers name is unknown the photographs picture are seen as a woman in each of them in a peaceful dimension in her own world. The photographer is professional and the Vietnamese woman in the photos is absolutely beautiful. I have never seen any photographs like this into place before the decor here is absolutely astonishing the bathroom isnt unisex bathroom however it is very cleanly. They are quick with their orders and you can order to go dine in or even eat outside. The only bad part is I say the parking lot at Diamond and Jamboree is always a bit crowded and you have been very careful do to people ignoring the stop signs when you enter the parking lot. All in all this place is a great place to go and eat its open decently late in Orange County and very well priced and affordable I give this place five stars and more people should check it out and leave some reviews because its outstanding and the service is phenomenal thank you for the Saigon and thank you mr. Tang the manager and my favorite person at this place!
GREAT place to eat!! One of our best meals in CA!! Love the pan fried noodles, pan fried dumplings, and steamed dumplings. The place is small so it can get pretty crowded.
Good eats. Joined up with work colleagues for this popular lunch spot. Ordered the #10 combination Pho and it was very good, plenty of steak. Good service and space. Parking is a pain, recommend getting there before lunch rush or afterwards.
If you’re looking at the pho in Irvine, this is the place to be
Such a comforting bowl of Pho.
I ordered 2 pho but only get one. I said no cilantro, they still put cilantro in the pho. I ordered the pho as my dinner but after I communicated with them, they said I only can get my missing pho tomorrow 😬😬
Me and my brother was seated looking at our menu ready to order. Manager shows up saying we are moving you to a table because another party that had 5 need the table. We moved to a table that seated the same number of seats that we just left. Which was kinda odd. Not even that the food was cold. My brother had to remind them he was missing an item he purchased. Overall I have no idea on why we stayed. Food was bad and the manager or owner that worked tonight which is a lady was rude. The only good thing was the waitress apologizing for what the manager did and was nice to us until we left. I just don’t think the business is minority friendly.
Great Pho and Boba.
The broth of the Pho on this restaurant place is simply amazing! The prices are reasonable and the service is fast. Will definitely come back.
Get the rare steak pho. You’ll love it
An Asian fusion place, pretty straightforward. Food is white but with an Asian twist/flavor. Cajun fries were amazing; friends ordered noodles and those looked good too.I ordered the rice bowl and its not worth eating out and paying for. Rice bowl was rice, salad veggies, a sweet dark sauce, and meat. I had the shrimp and it was tasty, but better eat that in the noodles instead because the rice bowl could be made at home simply enough. They have a good sweet jalapeno sauce if you like things with a kick; goes great with fries and the other food btw!
When you absolutely need your Pho kick, this is the place. It is a little more expensive than some Pho places, but it is so worth it IMHO. We have also tried a variety of their standard Vietnamese dishes: eggrolls (which act more like lettuce wraps if you eat em right), spring rolls, and other vermicelli dishes. Have not tried the Bahn Mi, yet, but will do so in the future.
Tasty, inexpensive, pho-focused restaurant. The broth here was really tasty, I enjoy anywhere that automatically puts in cilantro into their Pho. Not somewhere you go for an experience so commenting on wait staff is pointless. Just grab a delicious bowl of soup and be happy you get to live in a world that has it, not much more to say!
Ordered pho and was okay only. The strawberry smoothy didnt taste like smoothie. It was too sweet and did have strawberry flavor. Their tea was not the greatest, was too sweet even with reduced sugar.
It is obvious why this restaurant was busy both times we have eaten there. The interior is nice, the service friendly and fast, the food excellent, and the menu offers a wide variety of food.
Absolutely awesome! Great service and very friendly! The food is delicious!
I got the big bowl and water of course, and it was only $10!!! left a $5 tip. I would return to this place on my lunches. I think the employees shouldnt be slouching and having an eh look on their face. they did what they needed to do they just dont look like they want to and makes people not want to ask for things. the food was a little bland compared to other places but they have the same sauces and helpers for it and it tastes delicious. :)
Decent pho for the area. I mean, you can’t beat Westminster/Bolsa area but this place will suffice.
Excellent food and service and most importantly it is priced well you will like it, value for money is here. Clean place and i strongly recommend it.
5 Stars for sure! The food here is amazing!! Great customer service is always provided by the staff. The inside of the restaurant is not that spacious but the dishes make up for that!
My mom has been searching for great spring rolls for months. This place popped up when we were searching for tendon pho, and she was delighted to discover impeccably fresh spring rolls. Plus the pho was magical, filled with luscious tendon and flavorful broth. A gem!
Great place to eat if you can get a table. Went there with co workers and had a great experience. Didn’t t have to wait too long.
The Pho is always great here. Plenty of meat and good service. I eat here about once every two weeks.
Had Pho here for the first time not too long ago and thought it was good. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking to try Pho for the first time or someone who is just looking for a nice, quaint spot to eat Pho.
First and LAST time here ever! I just left this nasty place. So I ordered the Three Flavor Dessert drink. At first I was drinking it with the straw, but then I decided to use the spoon. 3 scoops in. There was a knotted hair! How does hair get inside a drink? That is disgusting! They didnt even apologize for having hair in it.There are things that are supposed to be used in the kitchen called hair nets.
I ordered up front a coffee and spring rolls. She didnt understand me and said I needed to order more since it bad to be over $10 dollars. So I ordered two orders of spring rolls. She charged me and I was given my coffee and spring rolls. As Im leaving, she chases me down and says she didnt include my Coffe which was the first thing I ordered. So she charges me over 3.50 but my coffee and spring rolls would have equate to $10 by those two items. So she made me order spring rolls that were $6 extra. Instead of allowing me my coffee since it was her error, she didnt care and I paid $19 dollars for lunch instead of $10. Terrible services. It was my first and last time.
This is probably the first pho place Ive ever been to that gives free soda refills. Amazing
Good soup and Asian food is not fancy, good for a quick lunch. Reasonable value. .
My family ordered pho for delivery tonight. The pork that came with the pork pho was RAW and in a leaking plastic bag. I’d requested no mushrooms in my vegetable pho, but mushrooms had been included anyway. What we could eat of our food tasted mediocre at best. Delivery took at least an hour and it was not the driver’s fault (once he was able to pick up the food, he got to us quickly). Best thing we ordered was the Thai tea with boba, everything else was a let-down.Edit: we ordered from the Irvine Spectrum location
Food was fresh and exciting. Staff was attentive and thoughtful. Will be back!
Food was decent but pretty bland, I liked the food at Spectrum center better.
Good food, the broth is light but satisfying. Great option for a rainy lunch break. The price is fair, the place is clean, and the service is on par. It is locate in a busy plaza so be patient with finding a parking spot and the wait time to be seated.
Legit. Quick service. Excellent food.
Service is great as of recent. Girlfriend takes a long time to order, they were patient and even helped her choose to her taste. The food is great almost any dish is delicious
This place has a good tasting pho.Price is on the high side (small: $10, large:$11). But then, this is Irvine and not Garden Grove!
Used to come here regularly but they recently upped the price. Food had no taste, noodles were bland and soup was meh. Wouldnt have hated the price increase if they food was still decent
One of the best places to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine, there phos (noodle soup) are amazing. Coconut water is delicious and refreshing. Service is excellent and this is a very popular and busy place.
I ordered the grilled beef pho soup and it was PERFECT! The beef was tender and flavorful and the broth was amazing. I also ordered the #40 combo fried rice and FINALLY Ive found a great place for fried rice!!
One of my favorite pho places fast very friendly you get helped as soon as you walk through the door, big portion of pho and delicious broth.
This is my favorite place to get Pho. I am in love with the flavor and the fact that you can served in less than 10 min. For around 10 bucks a bowl with friendly serive, its worth a visit. Youll most likely run into me as I frequent often. Enjoy.
So excited to check out the Vietnamese Restaurant across from my new apartment in Irvine until I walked in the door and the manager approached me immediately, intimidatingly, with an angry look on his face. My crime was having a 12 lb. Maltipoo certified service dog. No smile, he was so rude. He insisted I show him my dog’s “paper” ESA cert or I’d have to wait outside in the hot sun for my order, but with the “paper” (so Asian) certificate I could sit inside (any training to tell him that anyone can get an ESA certificate cheap on the internet, or fake one?). Has this manager been trained to identify a proper certificate anyways? It’s only ignorant harassment of customers by this chain. All the staff looked terrified of this oppressive, egocentric manager. And this restaurant was totally empty at 5:30, certain this is because of the management.Do the owners of Pho Saigon Pearl care to reply with an apology, or should we expect this petty, illegal abuse when visiting a Pho Saigon Pearl restaurant? This is California and not Vietnam, California laws matter here, mafia managers can’t rule with impunity. As of the date of this posting, neither the manager nor any on duty staff would provide their names (who trusts their food to staff that won’t give their names?). PLEASE don’t support this VN chain! If they treat customers like this, imagine how they treat their employees. Btw I left, went to Kickin Crab next store, ordered, left and no one asked me for a certificate for my Maltipoo.I hope this post will elicit a publicly stated policy change from Pho Saigon Pearl on this issue and an understanding of respect for the customers that walk through their doors going forward.
Such great Vietnamese food! The calamari appetizer was so fresh, i am most certainty going to come here again! The Rice platters were very tastey and the servings are large. The vermicelli, with eggrolls and beef was another great choice to eat here!
Good. Really crowded at lunch...dont like that they rushed me took all of 10 minutes to eat
Very busy during lunch during the work week. But the Pho amazing. Must do the filet mignon.
. . . EXCELLENT Phó, with specific choice of meat selection . . . superb rare filet and well done flank, good portions, with quick service and attentive and responsive staff! . . . will DEFINITELY be back!!!
Been going to Pho Saigon Pearl for years. Im very disappointed in the recent changes. Theyve raised the prices and lowered the food quality.
Love their pho. One of the best in town!
Food was good but the wait was long
We went on a double date here and the food was good but not the best. Got a couple weird stares from the patrons Tho.
Pho is average but the bun cha gio was excellent. Great pickled veggies and large portion. As far as late night eats goes though this area is excellent with a lot of dessert options after dinner!
Very good
My first of many pho restaurant visits in Cali. Great food, good service and when I return to Cali I will definitely return.
The pho here is pretty tasty. I like their combination pho best.
The parking lot of the diamond Jamboree is scary with a lot of terrible drivers and parking but its worth it. This place is a solid 5 stars for the food. Not the type of date place but the place you and your partner go on a Wednesday night when its cold out.
Disgusting, Watery broth. Hardly any shrimp in a large pho. My boyfriends noodles were hard, undercooked, and stuck together while mine were soggy and falling apart. I had to pay an extra $3.50, on top of an already overpriced bowl of pho, just for a few huge chunks of hard, barely cooked broccoli and a few tiny shreds of mushrooms. I called and ordered take out to go pick up. They have no menu online and no one bothered to give me a total over the phone. The mango smoothie was okay but no one bothered to tell me that the boba isn’t included and costs extra on top of an already $5 drink.. ridiculously overpriced for terrible food.
Best pho in town! Their broth is very flavorful, authentic and their noodles are thin, soft but not too soft where they fall apart, they are perfect and for a good price!
Wasnt crowded both times I ate there, so we were quickly seated and had our orders taken. Friendly staff and their menu is pretty expansive
