Honestly just had some fantastic experiences @roadrunnersports in Costa Mesa! Called in to check stock that online said was not possible. They held a pair for me, went to go get them and given amazing service. Well first pair didn’t fit my gal, called back held another pair and second pair was a success. Everyone was friendly from the phone to the finale. I love the discount as a member and the points you earn make for real money! Plus they have the best selection of REAL running shoes, killer clothing, accessories. Makes me up want to go back and get one more pair! Just… one more….

Very unique fitting equipment that scans your foot to see size and width of each foot and arch height. Insoles are heated up and molded to each foot. The sales person sticks with you from beginning to end. Great experience, I highly recommend them.

When I was younger I could tolerate inexpensive shoes with no problems, so to pay in excess of $100 for a pair if walking shoes was a huge step for me. Scott was fantastic. He took me through the whole process of choosing the perfect shoe. He had me on the treadmill to find my walking pattern, scanning the size and shape of my foot on the scanner, and heat molded custom inserts shaped exactly to my feet to place in my shoes. He brought me a few pair of shoes to try on. I tried them on with and without the inserts to find a perfect fit. I ended up with the perfect shoes for me. I always have a great experience and find the most comfortable shoes when I come to Road Runner Sports.

Wonderful experience today with Ethan at the Costa Mesa store! I brought my 15 year old son in for some new shoes and Ethan took excellent care of us. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and genuinely seemed to care about getting us into the right shoe. I appreciated how he spoke with my son and explained things to him. Finally! A store that has knowledgeable staff who can get you the correct size and fit for your specific sport activities. I had an amazing experience at Road Runner Sports in Costa Mesa/Newport Beach. After getting my feet analyzed by their 3D Foot Scan and having my gait videotaped, they were able to zero in on the best athletic shoes for both running and hiking for my specific feet. So far no soreness or pain in my feet. Thank you Road Runner Sports, Ill never go anywhere else for my athletic shoe needs.

This is the best to place to buy running and walking shoes, socks, leggings and sports bras. I went to the Costa Mesa Store #111. Raquel assisted me with selecting the right shoe and let me try on the custom insoles which are AMAZING. I am very happy. I purchased the Hoku Bondi 7 and they are like walking on clouds.

I appreciated the care in which everyone at the store took to find me the perfect shoes. The were not salesmen/women they were like doctors prescribing what would work best for me; that’s an excellent model and excellent customer service. I’m using my new Brooks shoes today. 😁

Is a great place for those who are runners, occasionally runners, beginners, and those like me that are walking, jogging and trying to keep going. The workers are really nice and if you have time they would do a in-deep study of your foot and give you advice and work with you to get the shoes that are the best fit for you.

This was my first purchase at the store and now I know why so many of my friends who are active won’t shop anywhere else. The salesperson was very knowledgeable even though he had only been with the company for a few days which is a testimonial to their training. They have a unique custom fit program which uses computer technology to select the ideal combination of shoe and insole. They also stock a wide variety of brands and sizes. They made me a customer for life!

I have been a VIP Member since 2016. The last three visits have been underwhelming. Once I was basically called a liar because when I got there to pick my online order it wasn’t there, I was asked if I was sure I haven’t picked it up or someone else had, visit took like 20 minutes, defeats the purpose of store pick up. My last visit no one greeted me and I waited for over five minutes before anyone acknowledged me. A guy who got there way after me was helped before me and he didn’t end up buying anything. Finally, someone helped me and I wasn’t asked many questions about what I was there for, she simple brought a few shoes in my size. I was hoping to get a running analysis since it has been ages since I got one. Seriously debating if I want to continue to renew my membership. The only good thing this place has it is the peace of my that if the shoe doesn’t work out I can return it even if it’s used.

One of the better stores Ive shopped at for anything. Took the time to do a proper fitting and patient enough to bring out whatever you want to try. Ill also say that, prior to my most recent trip, they took back a VERY OLD return that, frankly, I did not think they would. I may not run often, but, when I do, I start at Road Runner Sports. ;-)

My girlfriend and I walked into Road Runner Sports and we were immediately greeted by John the Store Manager. He asked us how we were doing and what brought us into the store. This is a review for the company only, the staff is quite friendly and helpful. This company practices deceptive business practices where they have a membership they enroll you in and then you get charged like a gym membership for something that unless you buy a whole lot of shoes you will never see the benefit of. I will never do business with this company again. I live less than a mile from them which is bad because they would be convenient to do business with but I will never give them another one of my dollars again.

I love RR Sports. However, I usually shop at the SD location which seems to always have excellent customer service. I didn’t feel that special feeling I always get at RR Sports. Once I was finally assisted, the rep was great. She was quick and fast. The checkout experience was unimpressive. The cashier seemed very unenthusiastic and almost as if he didn’t want to be there or assist me. Hopefully next time will be better.

I worked with Anthony yesterday and it was amazing. He was able to show me so many needed that I didn’t know I was missing like Brooks Running shoes and roadrunners personalized inserts to help correct arch imbalances. The best shopping experience I have had in a long time.

Road Runner continues to be the best source of all gear for serious runners around. Staff are knowledgeable and really hustle to help try on shoes and explain the products. Great selection ranging from training, trail, and hiking to top-flight running shoes. Their stock of clothing, hydration and other gear is very broad, as is their stock of fuel for long runs. My wife and I buy enough that the VIP membership is well worth it. Online ordering and free shipping is a breeze, and deliveries are usually 2-3 days.

EXCELLENT. I was immediately helped by a salesperson who used the sizing machine and treadmill to analyze my feet and gait. I had one shoe in mind it but didnt end up working for me and she came up with a different recommendation that worked perfectly. Huge selection lots of sizes including wide for my feet. The 2 young men who patiently helped my aunt with walking/ stability sneakers were great! One of the young men had to take his lunch break and another patient, kind young man took over and even spoke Spanish to my aunt who was visiting from Puerto Rico and needed a pair of comfortable walking shoes!

Best decision I have done for my feet for the last 10 years. Did their 3D analysis and I learned how my feet have changed in time. I love their 90 day policy too. I recommend this place for anyone who is going to go to the military or an academy. Have your feet happy early so you don’t have issues later!

This is a specialty store that will find the best fit for your feet. Not your average sports shoe store.My son and I were looking for new running and walking shoes. We decided to give this store a chance and it exceeded our expectations. Raz guided us through the measuring and evaluation of our feet, step, and support. We gained a better understanding of what was best for our particular feet anatomy and movement range, allowing us to choose the best possible shoe. Knowing exactly the type of shoe helped narrow the selection; youre not overwhelmed by oh so many models, but instead focus on those that are actually helping you exercise better.

This afternoon I came in and Brian was great with helping me out. I was in and out in 20 minutes. This has been by far the best experience Ive had. He understood my needs and got me the perfect shoe. This review is coming from a non runner so take it as you will. I have no experience with other stores. I spent an hour working with one of the store managers picking the right shoe for me. They measured my feet, recorded my walk and wet over everything with me. Even let me try some custom in souls for free. He brought out 5 pairs of shoes and sat there with me while I tried all of them and gave him feedback. He answered all my questions and helped me pick the right fit for my needs and training. I would recommend this store to anyone and will continue to shop there. Thank you for the service!
