My experience here has been second to none with Ray and his team. The level of care, expertise, and execution have been noticed by all that have seen my car after being here. This shop isn’t the cheapest option, but the work is worth every single penny. The other thing you get with this shop is a total understanding of what and why. Ray has always taken the time to explain every detail to me which has made me feel that much more comfortable with the upgrades done. So much so, that I left my car in CA to have Ray do a full set of upgrades while I moved to AZ. Go here. You won’t regret it!

Ray did an amazing job on our 1970 F100 Ford Truck he is the best the most honest person we have came across. You will be so happy to have him work on any car or truck that you may own. Thank you so much

Ray (owner) and Joseph both work the office and theyll take great care of you. Mike did the large majority of the work on my car and he is a true artisan. His resume is extensive and he can always give you great advice for your project. Labor rates in California are high, but Full Throttle will do honest work for an honest price.

This is a disaster of a shop Rays quote went from $ 5k. To $12k with no phone calls and incomplete work!!I got quoted 5K from Ray to do electrical work(3k to get my 50s truck started which he did and later quoted 2k for electrical instrument cluster head lights turn signals ect.) me and Ray talked at length about my budget and concerns I had with my truck and was at the time confident I picked the right shop.I also picked up and delivered parts to his shop several times because Ray the owner said he could save me 50 bucks here and there. (just to give an example that I was at his shop several times and was easy to get ahold of and also was on a budge)4 weeks go by and Ray has finally gotten the truck started and was even under budget! I’m was super happy about that and we moved on to electrical. Ray quoted 2k to do my body harness with the main thing being my Gauges that I bought online.2 weeks later Ray calls me to tell me my truck is finished minus 1 of 2 gauges because of manufacture defect that he would be replacing next week when I get the new part( no problem we spoke about the defect). Here is where it gets even worsewhen I sat in his office to pay my additional 2k he tells me he failed to manage his employee(s) time correctly and the bill has almost hit $12k for me!!! Im really startled and surprised by what Ray says because I received zero calls from him about things costing more and have been at the shop several times already? he keeps talking and says they did so much work that needed to be done even though I didn’t authorize it. this was a super awkward conversation that lasted close to 2 hours in his office where we picked apart what happened and looked at his employee hours logs on my truck. From someone who knows little about trucks this felt weird as he tried to justify a lot of the extra work that “needed to be done” along with parts. After a long talk I conceded and paid a reduced amount of $8k total and drove off in a weird mood only to realize that my other gauge that was installed for mph and odometer was not working. I make a UTurn immediately back to Ray. Ray has no clue that both gauges were not installed! He calls his electrical guy and after a brief convo with him he says when the other gauge comes back from the manufacture he will install both of them. After 2hours earlier of sitting in his office I reluctantly said thats fine. I was happy to see my truck running and driving and didn’t think that after that long conversation with Ray that he was a Shady person more not good at managing his employees time. Here is where it even gets worse1 week later I get my gauge back from manufacture and I set up a time with Ray to get both gauges installed. After 1 hour at the shop they get one installed quickly and the other is still not working. Ray then tells me it is going to take longer for this other gauge to be installed and quoted me around 400 to 1200 to install. i was so surprised to be told I was going to be charged more for something I already paid for and that Ray thought his guy already installed a week before when I drove off. Needless to say I declined the work after trying to explain to Ray how messed up it is to charge me twice specially when I drove a week earlier with both of us thinking the truck was finished.

Nothing but good things to say about these guys. Solved my engine problem and got my 86 K5 Blazer running its best...never bsd me. Gave me tons of information and was quick to reply to all my questions. Staff is very knowledgeable and it shows in their work. I own an 86 Blazer and a 56 Chevy 3100 and will keep bringing both to Full Throttle!

Full Throttle Restoration has been my “go to” restoration team for several years. Ray and his team are great. I have an uncommon 1968 European car from my college days, which I’ve grown attached to. As expected, in an older car, there have been a number of “wear and tear” items (mechanical, electrical, suspension, ignition, engine, etc.) that pop up. Each was well taken care of. I don’t think there is anything they can’t do. I strongly recommend them.In fact, I recently brought them my older Corvette that I drove for 100,000 miles. I plan on keeping it and taking it for a Pacific Coast Highway drive later this year.

Often it is difficult for an owner of a classic vehicle to know exactly where to go for service and repairs as most shops either do not have the knowledge or desire to work on these vintage vehicles. Well, you should take it here as they will treat you right and do expert work. I took my 1967 classic in for some work and it turned out to need many parts and little things fixed including replacing of the rusted frame. Ray explained everything and kept me posted with the status of the project as well as sending me pictures of the progress. Now my car looks and drives great thanks to the experts at Full Throttle who care about your car or truck. Will be back with my next project in the future.

Ray (owner), Jim, and Mike all take care of everything you need. I completely repowered my truck (engine, trans, transfer case, etc etc) and did my suspension with them. Fabulous, clean work. They put pride into the work they do. I had a few stiff deadlines that they stayed after hours to help make. Awesome shop - i will definitely continue to use Ray and Full Throttle for all of my projects. Highly recommend

I bought my ’71 Buick GS from an unscrupulous classic car dealership and it arrived in very poor condition. A lot of work was needed, to say the least. I know nothing about cars, so I didn’t know who to turn to, but after doing an on-line search and reading some excellent reviews for Full Throttle I decided on them, and man am I happy I did! The car is running beautifully now and it finally feels as good to drive it as it does to look at. I couldn’t be happier. Thanks to Ray, Danny, and the rest of the crew for a job well done!Tom Lusey

I recently had a bunch of work done on my 1967 Camaro. The guys at Full Throttle went about above and beyond to make sure my car was perfect when it was delivered. Ive searched all over Southern California for a professional classic car mechanic thats fair on price and stand by their work. I would highly recommend them to anybody looking To get a tune up or a full restoration. The owner Ray is a stand up guy you wont be disappointed. A++ quality and service. Thank youMark
