Took my 2012 pathfinder here for a pre-road trip inspection, to get new tires installed, balanced, and to have the wheel alignment checked. After inspection, it was noted that the transfer case fluid needed replacement. This made sense considering Ive put about 40k miles on the truck since I bought it. Everything was done quickly and at a cost very similar to industry standard. It was also a little nice touch to have the front end and brake inspection done free of charge! Service was easy and professional. The guys at the front were super helpful and attentive. Great experience.

Oil change and tire rotation. I was passing through from Tn and stopped for my second. They were very prompt and courteous. Did a great job and got me on my way.

When I made my appointment, I was asked if I had my own parts. I said no, but I can get them, which I did. After having all of the work completed, I was told I get no warranty because I supplied the parts. I feel I should have been told this BEFORE the work was started. I dont even get a warranty on the labor? This is very unfair. I understand no warranty on the parts, but what about the labor? After wards, several people have told me bad things about this place. I am a bit ☹️ disappointed.

I had a pack rat build a nice nest in the under carriage of the vehicle as well as the cabin air filter. I cleaned the air filter but didn’t realize until my dog signaled there was something else. Not knowing how to get into the undercarriage without having a lift jack I stopped to ask if I was ok to run a hose down there and spray it out. They ended up cleaning it out for me. And the professionalism is top notch. We often take our vehicles here for oil changes but will start taking it for other repairs as well.

Had an oil change and service done, dont think they expected me to check their work as they didnt do most of it. Got my money back.Read the reply. All I can say is you should work on getting the next customer to give you a five star. I would suggest actually DOING all the little checks on the checklist you give your customers. I am pulling an RV and I relied on you to make my vehicle roadworthy and safe for my family. That didnt happen. Try to keep your customers lives in mind when you work.

These guys are the best! I was on a road trip (very far from home or help) when my engine started lurching and causing problems. They were over booked but were able to squeeze me in and get it fixed in a few hours! They were so nice and understanding, explaining the problem and what they were going to do to fix it. I was so lucky to be near by! Cant recommend enough if your in the area!

Professional, great service, work done in a timely manner. I bought extended warrant on my vehicle and once it was diagnosed that I needed a new compressor the guys working the counter asked for my warranty information and did all the leg work for me. Great customer service.

From beginning to end it was a great experience! My tire had slowly been leaking air over the last couple of months and I finally decided to bring it in. Go here! Ive been to other Big named shops, tried a local so-called mechanic and was treated poorly, over charged and had to get more and more work done, costing me unnecessary time and money. But NOT here!Rob and Zack are HONEST, friendly, professional and have incredible customer service skills. The mechanics take you seriously, listen to your concerns, wont perform unnecessary service and will work till they find the real cause of your issue. I have tested them, asked questions I already knew the answer to and have never found them to recommended any service or product I didnt need.Their prices are fair and competitive for the area. The work gets done remarkably fast and they are respectful and accommodating to each customers covid concerns.Years ago this place didnt have the best reputation, but thats really a thing of the past. Ive gotten oil changes, tires and my transmission worked on. I wont go anywhere else and am grateful for their service. Only problem is my car runs so well now, I may have developed a slight speeding issue!

I went in to get my brakes checked and since it was a simple fix, I was not charged for the service. I was able to drop off my car before work and pick it up after work. The manager helped me and was very professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. If I have further problems, I will definitely come back!

This place is the best. As I was driving my alternator decided not to work anymore. I just barely made it to American auto care and tire. I got there late on Saturday when everybody was get off from work. Monday morning they bent over backwards and put a new alternator in my jeep and got me on the road again. Thank you everyone for the great work.

We’ve had excellent service with getting new tires and they offer free rotations and tire wellness checks, we’ve also had them repair electrical issues in our truck, and we just recently had them install a brand new KNN air intake system, and the managerRob, and our favorite technician Zach, have always been outstanding. We feel like we’re getting our moneys worth when we come here and we’re getting our vehicle cared for in the best hands

Zach and David were super helpful in working on our Ford Econoline. We came in to get the front end checked out and have a look at a malfunctioning cigarette lighter. The tech David was able to very quickly diagnose and fix the cigarette lighter. He was also able to diagnose the front end issue as a minor problem with the brake rotors. David was upfront about the nature of the problem and explained that the repair could be put off to save money. Zach worked with us on a very reasonable price for the work and inspection completed. As two dirtbags who are currently scraping by financially, we are SUPER thankful for the ways in which this shop worked with us. These guys are great!! Go see em!

I was driving to Washington state from Tennessee and my AC Compressor went out. Thought I could make it to Washington state but my AC Compressor called it quits. They quoted me a price and stuck with it even tho their were some mistakes made on the price end! Still got the job done within 4 hours of bringing it in and got me on my trip again!

Got my oil change and it wasnt expensive. Im thinking of making this my preferred auto shop since I just moved to Cortez.

For a mechanic, I’ve always used someone I know. I don’t usually go to shops because I’m too paranoid of getting screwed and being over-charged. However, my experience here was the complete opposite. I had something going on with my car, that multiple people checked out with no definite answer. I brought it to them, and they gave me a solid answer, that I was confident in and comfortable with. The mechanic Alec let my partner and I go for a drive with him, so I could explain exactly what was going on. Great, great service. And they simply just checked it out for me, to let me know what was wrong - for free. We also get our oil changes here, unbeatable prices with coupons you receive in the mail and always quick and efficient. Appreciate the service they provide.

I went in for an oil change. I arrived a few minutes before opening and Zac let me in to wait while his crew arrived. I was in and out within an hour.

I had this establishment change my oil. During Covid-19 with statewide orders to wear a mask not one person working, indoors or out, was wearing a mask. About 5 workers gathered around the cash register hanging out with nothing better to do. The one other customer was not wearing a mask either. I needed to use the bathroom and there wasnt any toilet paper. Once it was supplied I lowered the toilet seat and found urine on it. Overall I did not have a pleasant experience.

Had tires mounted and balanced. The weights started coming off did not clean rim before attaching glue weights. Had to have another shop rebalance, had additional add cost...

I called late in the afternoon because I hit a chunk of ice driving down to the area which knocked the skid pan loose. I spoke to Chase and he got me an appointment the next day. Got there a few minutes before the appointment and the guys were friendly and helpful. Not even 30 minutes later I was out the door. Great customer service!!

Every time I call to get my truck looked at they are quick at getting me in and my truck running great at a reasonable price. Chase the manager is very professional and explains everything to me especially if I have questions. If you need your car looked at I would recommend American Auto Care and tell them Jennifer sent you in.

Fantastic people and service. I had a concern about one of my tires, especially since I was traveling on rough roads in the middle of nowhere in National Forests. They took care if me immediately and professionally and didn’t even charge! Wonderful people.

Employees were quite helpful. Didnt caught his name but the guy that did the oil change was very good. He told me the ball joints were okay but the boots were bad. Also said theres a meeting minor oil drip...most likely from the oil pan. Appreciated his inspection and report to me.

I felt once more that I was in good care, in good hands, and with honesty, which was not the case for a little while.and Kindness which is very important for people to feel you can trust again. No more arrogance as last experience.

Gouged prices a bit to maximize. Manager Chase didn’t quite follow through correctly w emails regarding the situation we were in w insurance for a few days in a row - wasting time, when asked about it - acted as if we were doing him the favor even though we were putting money on the line as customers. Glad we got done and last but not least, a restocking fee of 1300 - which was never specified at anytime until after the fact. With no services rendered. Nice. Employees were just doing their job.

I had the brakes replaced on my 2007 GMC Denali. The service writer was very friendly and went out of his way to get us a great deal on quality parts. The work was done perfectly and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this shop for your tire and auto repair needs.

Our ac broke down on our way back to California coming from Colorado, we stopped at their shop at around 4PM, they immediately checked the car while our whole family waited in their air conditioned waiting area, offered us drinks and popcorn. They found the issue in fifteen minutes. It was not something that could be fixed quickly, we were unable to stay in Cortez, they provide us with a written diagnostic and did not charge us for anything. I wish we had the time to have them do the work! Great service and the entire staff is very helpful and kind!

My son and I were traveling from Illinois to California and we needed and oil change and a rattle in the car that started while on our journey. I stopped in on our way out of town, the service was great. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The rattle was fixed and oil changed. Had us out in about 45 minutes.

This place went above and beyond to help us. We were on our way back home to Arizona and needed to get breaks. They went out of there way and took us to our hotel andpicked us up in the morning and took us to get our car. Very nice people and did a great job on my car. Buyers beware. This place will steal your money. They installed the wrong thermostat on my 2014 F150 truck, then took days failing to diagnose the issue with temperature readings racing into the red every time you drove on the highway. Ultimately, they sent me back to the dealer and only paid for the part they installed by mistake. Additional parts, labor, and diagnostics totaling hundreds of dollars at the dealer were my responsibility. They offered a free full synthetic oil change as partial compensation for the extra expense, but failed to annotate my account and charged me anyways when I returned. You are swimming with sharks if you leave your car here.

We stopped in as we were traveling through the area. We thought our vehicle was having an issue that couldve been quite costly. After speaking with the employees they assured us the issues we were having wasnt due to a clogged catalytic converter but was instead due to elevation and pressure. They couldve easily scammed us if they were not such honest people.If ever in the area of this shop I suggest you stop in. They treated my husband and I quite nicely.... listened to us and our concerns, asked the right questions, and came to the conclusion (which they were right!). They didnt try to run a bunch of unnecessary tests, scans, procedures, etc. They didnt charge us anything.The recommendations they gave us and time they spent talking with us was well worth the stop.Thank you, employees of this Midas location... Im not sure if youll even read this much less remember us (husband & wife in dark green Ford Ranger driving from FL to Washington state, with truck losing power accelerating uphill). You guys saved us a bunch of money, stress & worry!

My car has been in their shop 3 different times for the same issue. (Not starting) the last time I picked it up from their shop i didnt even make it out of their parking lot. I went into the shop to tell them my car died and the manager informs me its a 95$ charge to hook it up and read the codes.While performing what should be simple oil change .... Must have cracked something because now Im over heating and leaking coolant. I brought the car back to them and told them it was over heating he said he would take care of it. My car sat there for 3 days and not so much as a call back so I calls him back he says sorry theres nothing I can do for you. The OWNER discussed a refund before Christmas but since has ghosted me my car and my refund.Horrible experience all 4 times******Update on my car.Elton Kidd fixed my car simple cheap spark plugsThe fact that American Auto Care Centers sign out front says We fix everything! Is laughable ... 3 weeks of missed work hundreds of dollars for Unnecessary labor and parts. And all it was was spark plugs. The face that I have that you can fix anything is zip to zero. Great place. They performed full emergency checkup on late Christmas eve afternoon on a short notice, and we ended up not paying a dime. The staff is super knowledgeable, friendly and honest. Highly recommended!

Midas is the best! We took our vehicle here to have our ball joints replaced because we were told by another service dealer that we needed it. To our surprise when we picked our vehicle up, the manager told us that we actually did not need them replaced, just tightened. Saved us over $200! That is amazing in itself but the fact that they are so honest just made us so excited! We are not mechanics and it is rare these days to find honest mechanics. They will certainly be getting all of our business in the future!

Overall experience was good. Employees were nice, waiting area was well kept. I was well informed on what was being done to my car and paper information of how to care for my car specifically.My only concern was my oil change sticker was not renewed.

Came in for a quick service. Stripped 3 lugnuts because they cross threaded them, and spend hours flailing futilely, trying to fix it, gave me stinkeye when I told them I wanted a discount. Great, right in the middle of an 8 hour Thanksgiving drive..... special. Wouldnt let them work on my wheelbarrow
