The guys that came to help move my stuff were so kind and gentle with my stuff. They were very respectful and mindful and after telling them I was on a tight budget made sure to move a little faster because of the cost. I highly recommend using Half Price Movers. They are amazing and went above and beyond.

So I go in today to buy a box and some peanuts and the moment I walk in I told him what I needed, then the phone rings and he doesn’t say anything to me like “I’ll be right with you!” Instead not only did he take one phone call but he took two phone calls while I sat there and waited. Yeah I get you need to answer your phones but there’s also a thing called customer service and there’s also the option to say to the second caller “hey could you please hold for a moment I’m with a customer?” But no! He didn’t!! They obviously need to learn some professional mannerisms!! Thanks for being so courteous Justin!!! (NOT!) This has always been the case with both you and Melissa!!! We have used this company twice this year and they are awesome! I highly recommend them. You won’t be disappointed.

Cheapest movers I could find and their employees were great HOWEVER I was told twice over the phone 350 flat out rate no other charges. Movers show up and sure enough theres an $80 mileage charge. I dont know what incompetent person I spoke to over the phone but I was misled. FYI they charged 135 an hour 2 hour minimum $80 mileage fee. I also dont like the fact that there female dog boss still charged me for 3 hours even though it was pouring rain and they had to stop moving things for a bit.

They were polite, careful with my belongings. The price was perfect. It was a local move and they got everything done within 2 hours. Very pleased with Half Price Movers. I also use them for my shipping needs. Highly recommended.

I called 8 moving companies and they were the only company to answer the phone. They arrived on time and did a great job fully packing a 26 foot u-haul truck which included 4 really heavy items my wife has been dragging around for years. Really reasonable prices, beat money that I have spent in years.

Very upsetting, we moved items from another city in a 26 foot truck and everything was just put into our temp address garage. This company brought the same size truck and the workers packed the truck poorly so they were not able to put the same items in the same size truck.They refused to move my toolbox with the tools in it because they said it would be too heavy and made my wife empty it out. When i arrived at the new house while they were unloading, I noticed they had a liftgate on the truck and they wouldnt have had to push it up the ramp at all.Loading all my stuff previously took 4 hours with 2 people, and took 3 hours to unload with 3 people. These 2 guys took 7 hours to load (and couldnt take it all) and 3 hours to unload.I would definitely not recommend this company.

Moving is the least favorite activity I like. After collecting four names of moving companies I was hesitant to call for quotes since it was a small move. The first call was to Half Price Movers. Melissa was professional, precise and courteous in providing me the information I requested. I felt my small move was as important as any large move. Prior to move date i called to confirm and spoke to Justin. Without hesitation he confirmed the original details. Moving day Juan and Lucas arrived on time went over the details and started right away. Within 2 hours they had completed the move which included going down one flight of stairs, dismantling the trundle bed, wrapping mattresses then going up a flight of stairs and reassembling the bed. They were very respectful of my property and to me. I would recommend Half Price Movers for any type of move based upon the professional behavior displayed by all.

The movers were great. They even showed up earlier than expected which was great cause I was ready to move. They handled my furniture very carefully which I really appreciated. When they were done they even asked if there was anything else that I needed. I paid alot less than I expected. They didnt overcharge and there was no hidden fees. Last minute I realized there was NO WAY I could move the last stuff from the garage myself so I called. They were there within an hour! The gentlemen were polite, professional and STRONG. What would have taken me 3 days to move, they did in a couple of hours. I highly recommend this company.

They took their time wrapping & padding all of our furniture, took all the beds apart, AND put everything back together! I hired 1/2 Price Movers to move us from Corpus to San Antonio. They sent me Glen and Ricardo. I wish I could have these two guys for every move! They were beyond professional, very efficient and took care of my belongings like they were their own. Their packing skills were pretty impressive. When we got to San Antonio, Glen and Ricardo didnt waste any time, but it started to rain shortly after. Even so, they managed to finish in great time. Thank you, 1/2 Price Movers! GREAT JOB!!!!

My overall experience with 1/2 price movers was poor. they charge with an hourly rate. My final price was much higher than quoted and the lady I spoke with when I initially called to get a quote said they was pretty sure it wouldnt be more than the quoted price. It ended up being $130 more than originally quoted. Also the movers did a poor job. There are scratches and dents on many walls. Even on walls where there is plenty of room to move furniture. I called the following day and they stated they would send me a form to fill out, but instead they sent me the initial quote. I have still not heard back from them. Do not use 1/2 price movers. They may charge less, but the overall quality of the job is poor. This is coming from a family that has moved 3 times in 2 years. We never had these problems with other companies we used.

Hope we never have to move again, but Hurricane Harvey had different ideas. If we ever move again, I will call these people first. They are good, fast, reliable, and, in fact, they were half price.

They moved us from Rockport to Schertz TX and did a great job. If anything they packed us up with more protection then I would have which makes a long unpacking process but nothing in the boxes was damaged. We have a dining room table that was dinged twice and am in the process of dealing with the company, so I dont know the outcome of this. I would use them again.

Please guys are awesome. They never took a break loading or unloading. They were fast and they took care wash stuff you could see the skill behind what they were doing. These guys are some fly-by-night outfit these guys seem like their train they know what theyre doing they of tricks to the trade and theyre well worth the money you spend form you my find somebody for less but youll regret it these guys are gonna do all of our moves from now on.

They are are a 5 star moving company, reasonable rates, very efficient and have climate controlled warehouse to store you items while you a looking for your next home (very reasonable rates). Impressed right from the beginning with the company Half Price Movers, the lady that took my initial call was friendly and helpful. Received a follow-up e-mail almost immediately after our call with everything we discussed. Called back and set a date which I had to postpone by one week and they were completely understanding. They followed up the week of the move and the day before. The two guys that actually packed and moved us, JB and Matt where great they worked hard and asked me what and how I wanted things done. After our move was complete received a phone call from the company to insure we were satisfied with our move. Overall very please with the company as a whole old fashion costumer service which is hard to find these days.

We had a horrible experience because of one of the movers negligence. They placed our king bed salts against the bathroom door and our daughter had gotten away from us for a second and ran to open the door to let our dog out. The slats fell on him and he passed away. We only found him later because one of the movers noticed and told me our dog was in bad shape. When I walked over to see what happened I saw him laying there I picked him up and he was obviously gone. I understand it was an accident but one that should have never happened because someone placed the slats against a door that opens the opposite direction. It could have been worse because our bathroom has access on both sides and could have easily fallen on a person because who expects furniture to be placed against a door. I will never get that image out of my head and only pray that he passed quickly. I hope that they have taken this opportunity to address the importance of paying attention to detail and train their employees correctly.

1/ Price Movers sent two excellent young men to move my household. They worked hard and efficiently. From the time they got to my old house to the time they unloaded the last item at the new place they never slowed down. Their equipment was clean; they wrapped all the furniture in blankets and shrinkwrap to make sure everyhing was safe and protected. No complaints and excellent service. I recommend 1/ Price Movers and their employees highly. Five Star service for sure.

I just called to see about hiring for loading the truck only. I have used loaders many times by going through uhaul. These guys just quoted $190 for the first hour and $100 for each additional hour. Everytime I have hired before from another company I paid for 2 movers $100/2 hour total. These guys should be called double priced movers. Time to find help through uhaul again. This company is way over priced for loading help.

They are better than our post office!! They can pack and ship USPS fedex and ups. They also sell boxes and shipping supplies 😀
