I used to love shopping at Boy Meets Girl up until today. This is a children’s store, which you’d figure the staff, to be exact, the owner - Denise, would be more welcoming. She is the rudest businesswoman I have met. Ever since they relocated to the 2nd floor at Merrick Park, unfortunately, she has been around in store more. I have nothing nice to say about her. She’s always very short, answers rudely, and very dismissive. It’s such a shame because her daughter is an outstanding employee and has excellent customer service skills. Not the case with Denise. I’ve always ignored Denise’s short and dismissive demeanor because I go in to shop and not to make friends with her. However, today was the icing on the cake. My 3 year old ripped opened a box of utensil that are for sale within a split second, and without any hesitation Denise sarcastically and seriously said: “I guess you now own a set of Unicorn utensils.” I shop at this store more than frequently and up until today thought she appreciated my business. But her lack of people skills made today the last time I’ll shop at her store. She could have gone about this a different way and been more empathetic. Which would’ve made me paying $21 for a set of utensils a breeze. I do understand my child opened something, which is why I chose to pay for it. My point here is Denise is plain rude! And although my business doesn’t make or break Boy Meets Girl, I don’t support small businesses with arrogant store owners. Miami is filled with many options. This isn’t the only store for children. So, if you plan to shop here, don’t take your kids because you’ll take the owners nasty attitude to the next level.

Ive been shopping at BMG for over twenty years. They can always be counted on for the highest quality childrens clothing, shoes and toys. Since my kids are now in their twenties, I dont get to shop there as often but recently had to buy a baby gift. Of course, I knew right where to go! To my pleasure, I discovered they have a new line, Petit Atelier, that is elegant, classic and fairly priced. The staff happily wrapped the gift for me and Ive already received text messages from the mother and grandmother that this outfit is their favorite to put on the baby. I cant recommend this shop highly enough. Top notch all around...you wont find a better childrens store in Miami.

Boy Meets Girl at Shops At Merrick Park in Coral Gables is a great place for all things clothing and toys for kids. They have a really good selection of quality items available and I was impressed with all that they had to offer. The staff here is very helpful and available when you need them and provided a good shopping experience.

This store is so beautiful! All the little baby clothes is so cute and high quality :) There’s also a variety of things for babies that can make a cute gift like toys. The employees are very sweet as well, especially Lauren and Denise. The way that they wrap the items is so nice and satisfying. They also know a lot about what they’re selling.

I came here looking for a gift for my baby brother. Loved it and bought it.

Really bad! It is a baby store and they are rude with babies! I got a pair of shoes on sale and the sales girl had no patience at all! She was staring my 18 months walking baby every time that my baby grabbed the exposition shoes on the store. I bought the shoes in a rush. When I got home the shoes even in the right size where hurting her chobby feet. I came back and they don’t want to exchange the shoes to the exactly same ones bigger size because it was a final sale! Even if I was a customer that always used to buy there. Congratulations! Now I am not a customer anymore! And I highly don’t recomend going to a store where the staff has no patience with babies and doesn’t know that even the right shoe size can hurt baby shoes because they are fat! Of course, if the staff doesn’t have kids at home, are not parents or are not well trained they don’t know that and won’t understand that!Really bad!
