It is a small place but it has everything, the lady that assisted me was very nice and helpful.
I visited this comic bookstore in Coral Gables with my family for my sons birthday. I was very very weary to go to a comic bookstore post COVID, but it was his special day. I am happy to say I found a very clean and well organized store where I felt safe to let my son shop. The young woman at the store was so sweet, she looked like an anime character with beautiful red hair and made us feel safe and my son like a VIP. The store was well lit and not too crowded. It smelled great and there was even a Lysol can by the register and it smelled like they had freshly cleaned the store. My son is so happy we found this place. As a healthcare worker, I am happy to see shops who follow rules to keep all of us safe during this pandemic.
Very friendly service, lots of pops if youre a pop lover, cute anime corner, and all of the newest comics on the wall with a few higher priced surprises behind the counter. My first time at this location and I will definitely be back
Kind of a small store but my son found some things he liked, guys that were working were not very friendly or helpful.
This shop is fantastic! The folks who work there are super nice and always helpful. The shop is clean (they take Covid seriously), cute, and convenient. Even though it’s small, when they don’t have something in store they order it and let you know when it comes in.
The cashier that helped me was so sweet and so nice and I loved her service she’s amazing
Super horrible they only pay 20% of your collections if they decide to buy.. game stop isnt even that greedy! Stay away!
Just wish they had back issues in a dollar/quarter bin by back issues I mean 80s 90s 2000s
I was recommended this shop by a friend. I’m from Valdosta and I came at 6:49, to a locked door, on Google it said the location closed at 9, and I saw that the sign on the door said 7, so I was confused as to why it was locked and the open sign turned off. I called the location and I was greeted by a young female and she started off with Korka comics we are closing at 7, to which I was surprised considering I called from the lot and it was most certainly was not open. Well I asked if it was 7 that it was closing, why was the door already locked, to which the reply from the woman was that she was already closing up and I was confused because a locked door certainly doesn’t mean it’s open. So I was like okay 6:51pm isn’t 7 pm, said thank you and then I hung up the phone. I proceeded to leave and she comes out of the store and says “see here’s the pennies in my hand, I’m counting the change” and I still said well the sign says the store is open until 7, and she started to be rude and condescending stating she had to be home at 7 because her parents have dinner plans. And I said well that is not my problem you need to take it up with your boss. The sign says 7, it says open until 7. I was very disappointed after looking forward to this shop coming from out of town. I would reconsider her some customer service training because that is not how you speak nor treat potential and even buying customers. I came to purchase some collectibles and I’m glad this store did not receive my money.
Small place. But it gets current edition comics on time. Very punctual with new issues
This is a satellite store and its great. I work on the mile and this had become the closest store in convenience to me so I finally can get a subscription and keep up. Anyway the store is clean and organized. Ive had great interactions with their employees every time I go (which is usually Saturday), and the location is perfect for this area. Hope to see it thrive.
Largest funko pop collection for sale
I loved it i hope to come back
Its a cozy lil shop. Very nice selection of Funko Pop.
Would leave 0 stars if it were a possibility but here we go. We had come into the store a couple of times before with my family and had an ok experience. However, we just stopped by again today and the young lady behind the counter changed our our experience drastically and can now say we plan to never visit the place again other than Monday to speak with the manager to formally leave a complaint about this persons attitude. From the moment we walked in, the person behind the counter was glued to her cellphone not bothering to look up whenever we asked her a question about a subscription we had at the store. Towards the end of our visity having picked a couple of books to buy, my 11 year old tried to get the persons attention twice to ask about another comic with no success at which point my wife asked her. Visibly bothered to be asked to check her computer having to put her phone down she barked out at my wife what do you want me to do, at that stage we decided to leave the shop not buying anything letting her know that we were not impressed by her distepectful attitude at a simple question. Not content having been disrespectful to my wife the young lady decided to start yelling at all of us (myself, my wife, my 11 year old, my 6 year old, and my 3 year old - who are all still shocked by her experience and have not stopped talking about it for the past hour) when I said we were now not going to buy a thing, going on a rant about knowing how to do her job, clearly upset that we had called her out on her attitude. If you plan on visiting the store I suggest you avoid Saturdays as that is when this person works there. But considering the various choices of comic book shops in Miami would suggest you dont waste your time here.
Small store but loads of items to choose from. Some pops and other figures I never even heard of before. Even if youre not spending money, it succeeds in treating your eyes to some amazing items.
This is my go-to store for all my comic book needs. Super friendly staff and everything is neatly displayed ALL THE TIME. Great selection of figures and statues as well as a nice collection of graphic novels and trade paperbacks, not to mention the big wall of Funko Pops to choose from. Their back issues are PERFECTLY organized and are a breeze to look through. This place is great and every time I stop by, the manager Rich always makes me feel welcomed. The perfect example of how to manage a shop. Keep it up guys, and thanks for being awesome.
Good service. Reasonable hours. Knowledgeable staff. Follow them on IG. That’s how I scored something limited 👍🏼
Clean, but not much to choose from.
Great store
Ive been a customer for 5 years and I love there customer service, they have everything Im looking for and if they dont they make sure to get it for you. Both the 8 street and Lejeune stores are awesome. This is the place to go if your looking for figures, comics, and if you have questions about comics, movies, toys, and up coming events in comics.
Great place, very knowledgeable on statues and collectibles. Great selection not only at this location but at their other two stores as well. Highly recommend you visit the stores. A+++++.
This is my LCS and its great! Cool stuff always.
This is the small store, so you might not find what you look for. The bigger one should have more variety.
Nice little comic shop
Great customer service, selection and variety
New pulls, back issues and Funko Pops. Checks and the boxes. Great people work there, as well.
Lots of POP figures! Great service!
