Def a comeback for sure.Friendly staff, tons of seating throughout and great photo ops everywhere. Their main side was more quiet and insulated, the other side was louder since there was not much isolation fyi.Got their specials: coconut orange iced latte $5.5. Wow it was delicious, strong and full. You taste the coffee 1st, then the orange, but the coconut is very hidden. Not too sweet, works great! The snicker-doodles were slightly crispy on the outside and nice and chewy on the inside, a for sure addition!! Not too sweet just perfect to compliment your drink.
This place was so cute!! I have had it on my list for a while and finally took the drive out to Coppell. It was totally worth it! I got the honey vanilla latte with added cinnamon and would highly recommend! There were plenty of seating options indoor and outdoor. The area was also super cute with lots of walkable shops and a farmers market right across the street.Even if it’s a bit of a drive, this one will be worth it:)
Perfect place for real coffee lovers. Go shop local at Coppell Framers Market on Saturday and relax with the cup of coffee. Lot of seating arrangements like indoor and outdoor along with that small and big picnic tables. Small but very impressive menu and lovely faces to serve you the best coffee.Tip: In rush order online snd pickup from window on side with dedicated parking slot for mobile order.Be there before 2:30 PM as the close at 2:30.Recommendation: I would suggest to be there and have coffee rather pickup.
Cant get in yet due to covid restrictions but outdoor patio space fills my heart full💕 love their latte selections even though I usually drink cortados or simple espresso shot drinks. Definitely try honey vanilla or lavender lattes! Their breakfast dishes are also good portions and savory! I have tried chicken salad sandwich, avocado toasts, and blueberry muffins. Everything was perfect for me
This is one of my favorite coffee shops. The drinks are great and the staff is friendly. I really like the setting. The outdoor seating is a great place to enjoy the outdoors and read a book. Highly recommend.
The staff was super friendly, however the owners are definitely not. They might put up a front that they are good, kind people, but from personal experience & others’ that is far from the truth. if I were you, I would find any other coffee shop that is open to all kinds of people & who also GENUINELY support their staff, unlike George’s coffee. They preach love and kindness to all, except for those who don’t fit their agenda . I would also like to add that their products are so overpriced. Maybe try golden boy or somewhere else that isn’t afraid to take a stand and support minorities.
Wonderful coffee shop in a beautiful neighborhood. Definitely recommend.
Good coffee and breakfast. Service slow though
Very cute and spacious plus I love a good booth. The cream cinnamon scone was delicious but the wait for a taco was a bit long which is why I had to give it one less star. Will be back though.
What a great place to just sit and relax. The ordering experience was seamless. The guy who brought out our food and drinks was pleasant. Excellent tea and lemonade. There was seating outside under a covered patio like a farm house. Loved the atmosphere here. The blueberry muffin was likely the best I have had. Not too sweet with the right amount of blueberries. Nice job!
Stopped in to grab a cappuccino. The wait to get to the register was about 20 minutes and I was quoted about 15-20 minutes if I ordered a cappuccino. 40 minutes for a drink seemed excessive. I ordered a brewed coffee and cinnamon scone which were both good.
George is for those who seek out excellent coffee paired alongside a bustling, though cozy atmosphere. They have a variety of options, coffee, non coffee, wine, if I remember correctly, and an assortment or boards filled with meat cheese and the like. When I went, it was hard to find an empty seat, it was peak time, however, but generally finding one won’t take too long; and there are no bad spots either. The staff were very friendly, and George’s location is very nice, and clean. I’d highly recommend George to people, even if it is a drive to get there.
I just had a simple Americano espresso drink. There are no size options for espresso drinks. $3.25 for two shots of espresso and hot water is a little expensive when for about the same price (maybe $3.95?) you will get a 4-shot venti at Starbucks. But, the Americano here tasted good and youre getting a more cozy personal atmosphere at George. Theres a nice variety of indoor and outdoor seating with fireplaces and nice big windows. The place was crowded at 9:30 am. So my conclusion is 5 stars if you are staying in, but go somewhere else if you only need value from your drink.
I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. Mando, one of the employees, provided me with some of the best service Ive ever had. He asked how my day was going and when I was open and honest about the fact it was not going so well, he inquired as to why and gave me some really good, compassionate advice. Thank you Mando! As far as the food and drinks go, they are top notch! The white shadow iced latte was superb, and the blueberries in the blueberry muffin were juicy and delicious! Ill drive out of my way to come back to visit this shop again. Keep up the great work! 👍🏼🙂
It was just OK at best. I drive by this place all the time and finally decicded to stop in. I came in with a friend on our day off work to have some coffee and a bite to eat and the lady behind counter was extremely short with us and had a bit of an attitude. It felt uncomfortable to be honest, as if we were bothering her?We paid for our coffee and sandwiches and we split the bill which was nearly $18 per person, I was not expecting that. The coffee tasted pretty weak and honestly, average. I told my friend that I make the same kind of coffee at home for a fraction of the cost so Im gonna start charging her $20 every time she comes over LOLI am hoping that this was a one-off situation, because I loved the simplistic decor and the overall vibe of this place. Maybe she was having a bad day? Maybe the coffee machine was on the fritz. Maybe.
Lovely little coffee shop nestled in the old town of Coppell. Upscale interior space feels like the city while the seating and the service feels like home. It can get busy mid morning but I love getting their drip coffee and breakfast taco! I also love their blueberry muffins (sent in a cute little box if it’s to go). I recommend if you’re around the area, the neighborhood is worth a quick stop.
I was looking for a coffee shop outside of the over-commercialized mainstream, and this place is perfect. Amazing coffee with very friendly staff in an idyllic atmosphere.
This is one of the best Coffee Shop I have tried. And I travel a lot, originally from Paris France, my job brought me to 65 countries last year. After moving to Texas from New York City 2 months ago I was really happy to find this George | Coffee + Provisions. The atmosphere is great, the barista are attentive and super professional and skilled, the owners are incredibly passionate (family owned) and the breakfast tacos are outstanding. They are also open and transform into a wine bar in the evening. What else do you want seriously?
Love this place! Such a cute place to work and enjoy a coffee
Great place to catch-up over coffee, with friendsor just be on your ownThe staff here is amazing, always meet you with a smile.
Great atmosphere, the staff is awesome and I think its because the owner is out there....serving, greeting everyone and not to mention the avocado toast or the tacos!!! Id give it 10 stars but you only have 5
Good vibe but on the pricier side
The place was so nice. It locates besiege the Carrollton farmers market.
A couple of months ago I stopped and ordered tacos and a latte from George’s for the first time. The shop interior was not open, so I used the window service. I was super impressed with the employee that kindly helped me, even though I was technically asking for tacos a few minutes AFTER the end of their published breakfast hours. Tacos were delicious with the house made salsa. Today I again found myself next to George’s for an appt., so I excitedly headed inside to get breakfast, but had forgotten about their breakfast cut off time. Unfortunately, I stepped up to the counter inside at 11:03 AM. This time my excitement immediately dissipated due to the less than friendly employee behind the counter. With no eye contact-she said “I’ll be with you in a minute.” She was working on a drink, so I get she was busy. I’m also a Barista and can do many things at once.. But come on...eye contact and/or a small welcoming smile, please? Nope. A minute later I asked if I could still get breakfast. Again, without making eye contact, or realizing their breakfast hour had ended, she said breakfast ended at 11 and pointed behind her to the clock...which then said 11:04. It appeared the two older gentlemen behind the counter (who may have been the owners) didn’t care to intervene and accept my order even though breakfast ended 3 min before I walked in, so I left. I guess the pandemic hasn’t affected them financially-so kudos to them. I will stop recommending the place to my friends-which I have been actively doing since my first visit:-/. I will give my money to other small businesses in the area that are struggling through this pandemic.FOLLOW UP 6/21:The owner of the shop did reach out to me immediately and was sincerely apologetic for the service I received, Emphasizing that they strive to train their employees to be more welcoming and friendly. He asked how he could make things right and I told him he just did;) I will go back another time and give it another chance.
This is a beautiful spot for coffee and quick lunch or snack. Coffee is fresh, hot and flavorful. Its very busy and crowded with students and self- employed working in laptops. They have 2 private rooms which can be reserved on-line. The day we went there were several Moms with babies and toddlers gathered together for a playdate. The ruckus was beyond overwhelming, but what are you gonna do? Its a public establishment, so you have to take it as it comes.
Great looking coffee shop, clean, good coffee and cute areas to work or hangout!
A Coppell institution. Great place to relax with a latte, with a nice outdoor area (shaded enough for hot summers) and cozy inside sitting arrangements.
I am so in love with the exterior of this place. I can stare at it for hours on end. Did I mention all the delish menu at the cafe inside. Customer service is also friendly and catering. The interior is very welcoming and warming. It has a meeting space as well. Come here for your remote working for some quick brekkie. Also take your drinks to go and lounge at the park across the street or take a stroll around the square block. The neighborhood and art center is quite relaxing with the natures sound. One of my all time fav coffee shops.
Excellent customer service and coffee. I always feel welcome here and there are plenty of seating options. I’m impressed at how they have adapted to continue to serve their customers during the pandemic and after the winter storm.
Love this place! More than coffee, they serve beer and wine and a limited food menu. The coffee is always good with different seasonal options. A great place to meet up and talk or relax with a book or use their WiFi. Sit outside when the weather permits and enjoy outdoor games like cornhole. This is a really friendly place with a cozy and relaxed atmosphere.
Too many individuals stay 4 table seat with computer for long time. No seating available for whomever comes here for just enjoy coffee inside. Make one seater booth or something to control the seating.
Great place but floored they’re not open Sundays. Every time I think of going it’s on a Sunday, really confusing why they’d not be open on what would be one of the most popular days.
George is by far my favorite coffee shop. Not only do they make the best latte around, the staff is always so kind and warm to everyone who walks through the door. I love this place, the atmosphere, the coffee, everything!!
Lived it great ambiance very good coffee
Was looking for a good coffee shop with friendly people and saw how good the reviews were but the staff was extremely rude my food was cold and the coffee was watered down. Would NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!
Very slow service, and there were plenty of people behind the counter doing nothing! Also, barely any coffee in my cup, so much foam and I asked for no foam. Won’t go back.
This place is even better than I was told! And they have COLD BREW HORCHATA!!
Great atmosphere outside when the weather is nice (looking forward to the inside opening soon). Good mix of drinks and foods however prices are a bit high for the value in return.
I love it. Great coffee.
Sick atmosphere, great coffee, and lots of room. This is my favorite coffee shop in Coppell to stop by on early mornings before heading to work. The picture I posted only shows half of the main room, there’s a lot more. The Cortado I usually get has consistently been great, I did try the cold brew today and wasn’t a fan, but maybe it was just today’s batch.
Excellent atmosphere, and I love walking around the enighborhood in Coppell. The coffee and cocoa are good, I just wish they had more pastries. Their selection of sweets is very limited.
Updated: from 4 to 5!Originally gave it a 4, but only because I thought Edison needed to fine tune the espresso a bit more. And Im not sure if they did, or if I just got the right barista this time. But it was 100% on point. Well done! One thing... The outside bench seats are dangerous lol. Dont sit on a far side without someone else sitting down as well. Its like a seesaw!Great atmosphere. Like, top notch. Friendly staff. Excellent location. And plenty of room. Cant speak highly enough of the ambiance and staff. Also the milk is steamed to perfection, unlike the over heated and burnt milk one might get at Starbucks. I have no issue paying premium pricing for premium baristas, staff and location milieu.
It looks like it fell out if Instagram. Absolutely beautiful aesthetic and delicious coffee. The staff is nice and theyre pretty quick considering how busy it is. Theyre food is also really good, Ive had their cookies and breakfast tacos. They have really gorgeous rentable space for small parties. Really such a gem!
Best tasting mocha ever! I get it half sweet, and it is very fantastic. I like to pair it with a breakfast taco. They also have a really great cinnamon scone and a perfectly simple avocado and tomato toast. My favorite place to drink coffee and read.
Nothing fancy. Outdoor seating only.Staff was okay.
Even during this crazy time, GEORGE is delicious! Size of coffee for price is small, and breakfast taco was tiny but tasty.
Beautiful place to go to take a beautiful rest and coffee!
The place is beautiful.Pros:- clean, quite, and well lit.-great place for studying and getting work done.- Staff is nice and friendly.-outdoor tables are awesome if the weather is good.-restrooms are always clean.Cons:-They close around 8pm. Not great for night owls.-They dont have very large cups. I think the largest tea cup there is 16 oz.
