I use to love shopping here but lately the clothes are junk and way over priced.

Always a great place to find just that perfect piece of clothing. I appreciate how they organize the store, it is very defined what you are looking for.

Love this place its 100 steps above platos close. Way better clothes and bags and shoes! Even have a rewards system!

Avoid. They are rude old people. I had two littles ones with me and i only had two items. They said they were busy ( yeah you look real busy standing there) id have to wait a half hour. I said i had things to do then feed my kids i couldnt come back too much trouble. They said i had to wait. Whatever. Dont go there. They dont care about helping you. Minnesota rude.

Clothes Mentor is a wonderful store. Jenny is a wonderful manager and everyone that works there are so nice and friendly. Very competent. I always bring clothes in for them to buy also. Lots of clothes to choose from also to purchase. Love the store.

This store is great. The employees are welcoming and friendly and so helpful! The personal shopper provided a few tops for me to try on with my new pants. I loved it. Highly recommend this Clothes Mentor location.

I had a disappointing experience here. :( I brought in barely worn (some with tags attached) J Crew, Athleta, Banana Republic, and some others...they didn’t buy anything. Said it was two old—these items were less than a year old! Don’t lie, Clothes Mentor. If your inventory is full, just tell people you’re not buying right now. No biggie. So I brought it all to a smaller consignment shop just north of there and made some good $$$. :) Don’t bother selling here. Support the smaller shops that actually buy from people.

This place is amazing! The selection is great, they have nice brands and they only buy clothes that are in great condition. The staff is wonderful, so kind and helpful. Also the store is very clean and not too cluttered, its second hand shopping at its finest! Would definitely recommend, great store!!

A friend recently recommended Clothes Mentor to me. Ive never shopped at a consignment store before and I was shocked at the excellent quality and condition of the items sold there. Ive been back several times now. Today I found it a blazer that I really liked. At checkout, I discovered that it had a small stain on the lapel. The staff member reduced the price significantly which made it even a better bargain. Im hooked.

Store was clean and well organized. Staff was friendly and I was able to purchase a pair of high heels, a pair of jeans, a blouse, and an athletic jacket all for $45! I will definitely return again.

Dont waste your time trying to sell clothes here. Yesterday I brought in two full baskets of clothes plus a bag of shoes. Most were good brands (Old Navy, Target, TOMS, etc) in very good or like-new condition. When I went to pick up my payment I was shocked to learn they took ZERO items. ZERO. The reasoning was that they were old, worn, or juniors. When I pointed out specific items that easily could have been sold there, the employee just shrugged and suggested I try somewhere else. When I expressed my disappointment at the fact that Id made two special trips into town just for this, the employee told me how far she drives to work every day......as if that was supposed to make me feel better. Ive read the form response that you give to all the negative reviews (So sorry you did not have a good experience. We try very hard to buy as much as possible, but the greatest challenge for any business is managing inventory.....) so you can skip that here. Let me suggest that you train your employees to actually back up their decisions instead of just mindlessly reading the reasons off the receipt. Train them to explain the inventory issues. That would have at least made me think the problem was my timing instead of my clothes. Really poor experience selling clothes. I could have taken them to Goodwill and saved myself two 30 minute drives to the store. Never again.

I have shopped at this store many times. But I finally decided to bring some clothes in to sell. I hand a bin full of clothes, shoes and a few purses. A few items of clothes stilI had original tags on and shoes and dressy boots new or only worn once.. I get a text about 10 minutes after I dropped off saying they were done. I got there and my bin was still full. They said they couldnt buy anything because they were all more than 2-3 years old or more and they dont take clothes that old. I was annoyed because Ive seen many shirts Ive owned years ago in there. Everything I had was in excellent condition and in style.

Great place to find brand-name clothes at low prices AND theres even a clearance section with even better deals! Lots of styles and sizes. I will be making this a regular stop from now on

The floor manager with the European accent was rude and had the worst attitude in this world. I couldn’t help but think how she got stuck working that poor job. She seems so unhappy. It reflects in how she treats her customers. I will never go there again because of how I was treated by her. Right when I walked through the door, she said she doesn’t buy Walmart brand and target brand without even looking at the things I brought (why the hell would I bring Walmart and target brand to sell?) She even said she definitely won’t buy anything just from me looking at the top dress I had on top without even unveiling to see what any of my clothing looked like. Avoid this Coon Rapids location at all costs. I can’t help but imagine how her employees must feel working with someone like that. She should’ve been fired long ago. I understand that there’s a difference between being direct and being completely rude to people. It’s the tone in her voice. If you want to be transparent to your customers, do it with respect.

Good quality clothing,shoes,jewelry,purses and friendly helpful staff. A little full in the store so dont always expect that theyre able to buy stuff but they usually well if its high end designer stuff thats less than 2 years old.

Great selection, easy to find different items in my size. Some of the prices still seem a little bit steep, on shoes and outerwear for example. I go back weekly!! I went in for sunglasses and was overjoyed to see that they had two or three displays with new, very trendy, fashionable eyewear for $6.95 each or 2 for $12.

Terrible!!! The older women with blonde hair dressed in pink clothings today was very rude! Had the attitude like she was better than me that she couldn’t be bothered to help. She was “very busy” talking to other employees not paying attention to customers.

Awesome place..after 30 years of wearing scrubs, need business casual and i found a ton of stuff and super cute boots. 6 tops, 4 bottoms and boots for $90!!!

Ive been to this store a few times and had a good experience. Today I brought in some really nice Levi Jeans and some UA sweatshirts that were in great shape. I also had some tops that hadnt been worn but a few times. They had picked out some really nice articles and only offered me 22.00. When I told them I could get more if I put them in a garage sale the older woman gave me a really dirty look.This store wants the best clothing and wants to pay you nothing. I would definitely not recommend it.

Pretty nice place to have as an alternative option than Platos closet. I prefer platos closet over here though. This is definitely more of a womens store, like 40yrs plus womens. Not you womens.

One of the employees there was very rude to me, I would not recommend giving them your money! Go next door, Turn Style is MUCH better!

The organization of the sizing is somewhat confusing and not as visible as it could be. However, cute clothes and found some great deals on business casual work outfits.

On of my favorite places to buy clothes from and the staff is usually great!

Their website says they give you 25-30% of the item you’re selling, but I didn’t get even 1/20 of what I had in my box, and 2 of them were brand new with tags. Might as well just donate.
