I was traveling from Asheville, NC to Myrtle Beach State Park to stay for a week long family vacation at the beach in my 2006 F350 6.0 Powerstroke and 34 camping trailer. My truck died at a traffic light on US 501 in Aynor, SC (about 45 minutes from my campground). Good Sam roadside assistance left me stranded for hours, but when I finally talked with Dean (owner of D&R PowerStroke Shop) he offered to send a rollback and another of his trucks to me so I could get the truck to his shop and the trailer to the campground. This was a welcome suggestion to me and I was able to use his truck to get set-up and I was even able to keep it overnight to be sure I had what I needed for the evening. Warren was the gentleman that diagnosed and fixed my truck (it was a stand pipe o-ring that let go), he had the diagnosis and repair done the next day and they kept the truck overnight and made a few runs up the road with it to insure a proper repair. This was a stressful start to a vacation, but I truly believe that God, through his guiding hand, provided to me a Christian owned shop to help me out. I couldnt more highly recommend D&R PowerStroke Shop as well as Dean and Warren any more highly, these guys are great! Thank you so much for your help!

If youve got an issue, take it there and talk to Warren. There is no front desk staff so jockeying phone calls is impossible. Bulletproof my F450. Happy so far.

I took my 6.0 into them last Wednesday and had the bulletproof and assassin job done. It was done in a little more than a week. I had some extra work done that had nothing done with performance. Ill tell you this for now, Mike and his folks know their crap. My truck runs like the wind and sounds GREAT. These people are TOP NOTCH. I couldnt be happier. And for the price, well its GREAT too. Man get your truck done by them before they figure out they can charge a hell of a lot more for this job. Mike is my guy from now on. I trust them to get the job done right the first time. They have a great crew of mechanics. Cant say enough about them.

I have not taken my 2010 Ford F-250 to this shop for any major repairs yet. Just ordinary oil change, fuel and air filters and maintenance. Extremely informative and HONEST. Did I say HONEST.?The work gets done properly

Dropped my 03 6.0 off with a lot of issues. 2 weeks later my truck ran like it has never ran since I owned it. I dealt with Dustin and the shop owners father. Both great guys, if you have a ford diesel this is where you want it repaired. No BS, Dustin diagnosed my truck when I dropped it off and it was ready to roll in half the time I expected. I bought this truck at auction and it would barley run. Now it runs daily with 0 issues.

I have a 2013 f350. Powerstroke has worked on my truck a previous time before the last time i took it in and i was happy about it besides know one ever answering the phone. But the last time i took my truck in i heard a awful grinding noise coming from underneath. Sitting in the truck i could not pinpoint it but defnitly sounded like the rearend. I climbed under neath it and pushed around the driveshaft to see if the carrier bearing was out of it. With no looseness i personally felt it was the bearing in the rearend where driveshaft imputs. So i drove it over on a sunday night and dropped key in box and went back monday around noon. I was really surprised at what THERE diagnosis was. They said my transmission was broke and quoted me one from Ford at 5800.00 dollars 4 to 8 week back order. Thats no labor or anything. I was completely shocked it being my transmission because it really sounded like my rearend. So they wanted to drain the fluid out of my transmission and put a new filter in it and new fluid. See what happens. They did but it didnt fix it. 307.00 dollars i think. (Keep in mind this trans has never got over 206 degrees and shifts great never slipped). So i was dumbfounded wanting to sell it then. I found a shop that would rebuild it for me and i took it to him. Couple days go by at the other shop and the guy says man we never pulled your transmission it took a couple days and we found the problem. It was a wheel bearing on the rear axel. He also pulled the fluid of the transpan again. I asked if it looked like clean fluid he said well its dirty but you cant get it all out when you change it but no burned smell. So i do beleive powerstroke did change my fluid but totally miss diagnosed my problem. A quote of a trans alone being 5800 plus labor was totally missed. I had my problem fixed for 700 dollars with new trans fluid brake pads and wheel bearing. By the way i pull a 40 foot trailer loaded 20000 lbs 5 days a week 600 miles a day and the transmission has not one time gave me a problem. I was happy with the work before except for the ignoring myphone calls. Theres alot of diesel shops popping up but beware and find someone that actually knows.
