Listen, I know sometimes people give 5 star reviews because they really want to make the recipients feel good, but I rarely leave will leave a 5 star review. These folks hit it out of the park for me. I walked in cold asking about financing and in 10 minutes I was on the lot shopping for a new truck. It only took another 5 minutes to pick the best truck for me. No pushy sales tactics and no fluff in the cost. The owner personally worked with me to get me on the road in that truck that same day. And it was a Saturday on a holiday weekend, but she made it all happen, worked the numbers to fit my budget and made sure all the bases were covered so I could drive off right away feeling great in my new truck. Honestly, I’m still shocked they were able to make my sale in the short time we had, even though we are from out if state. Sure I know that in the end dealers want to meet sales goals. But MacDonald really made me feel like it’s about what works for me. I’ve never had such an outstanding buying experience. If you want a great price on a great vehicle without any bull, go here. They will always be my first call from here on out (and we live a couple of hours away.) Thank you very much to all the fantastic staff at MacDonald. I couldn’t be happier.

After buying a truck at Macdonald Motors yesterday where I trusted them totally. Didnt read what I was signing, (as I trusted them} They pulled a fast one on me, I agreed to a deal with them based on the sticker price of the truck and the allowance number they gave for my trade. All seemed well. This morning as I am filing all the paperwork in my office, I noticed the selling price on the bill of sale was $2,000.00 more than the sticker price. Was I surprised. They did this and did not tell or even hint it was happening. When I returned to the dealership and confronted them, all they said was, yes, marked all our vehicles up yesterday $2,000.00 because of supply and demand. Now we all know the cost of all those vehicles on the lot will be paid for at the base price of the sticker less what they buy them for. Ford did /will not charge them $2,000.00 more than the sticker price of my truck. I cant believe this is ethical or maybe even legal. I am going to check into that and will report back to you. Anyway it is a dirty, sneaky way to do business so folks, be ware before you put your name on the line or even when you make your deal at Macdonald Motors in Conway N.H. Your going to be underhandedly charged more than what you see!!!

Mixed experience. Maintenance was easy to schedule and technicians know what they are doing. Service writer seemed put out to discuss a very real issue with my hatch and talked down to me. Body shop guy was interested and thoughtful about my concern. Showroom and waiting area are very shabby and furniture is worn and feels unsanitary.

I’ve been a regular customer of Macdonald Motors for 8 years now, and in all that time I have never once had a reason to question or criticize the work that they’ve done for me. I now know all the regular staff — and the owners! — by first name and they’ve been generous in finding a loaner car for me to use when mine was being worked on, for example.The work that has been done on my car over the years has always been professional and very thorough. No complaints there! My car now has more than 150,000 miles on it and we (Macdonald staff and me) all feel pretty confident that I can go for 200,000 if we continue to treat it with the care that Macdonald Motors has always given it.

Hard to Believe that in this day and age there are still auto dealerships that will lie to your face and tell you that they have performed work that they never performed and give you your vehicle back in a Condition that is Unsafe to drive, But here they are McDonald Ford. MacDonald Motors recently went way out of their way to help me quickly repair my Ford F150 pickup truck. When they found that the part I needed would take over a week to arrive they called other Ford dealers in the county to not only locate the part but they picked it up and had me back on the road in a matter of hours not days. I didn’t have to ask them to do this they did it on their own initiative. As someone who relies on their vehicle for work this makes a huge difference for me. They have always provided me with great friendly competent service that I have now come to rely on. Hands down 5 stars across the board.

Just bought a car from here what a fantastic job they did. My credit not great they were able to get me in a 2016 escape. Both John and Mary went out of there way to do everything. I had bought a 2011 Lincoln from here in 2012 and it was great then. Just keeps getting better will buy a car from no place else. If you want it they will find it. Everything from start to finish was outstanding. Best dealership around I suggest everyone try them for a car.

I have had an excellent experience with them. After checking several dealerships, I decided to purchase a used vehicle here. The 2010 I chose was completely cleaned (as expected), but it also was thoroughly checked over mechanically and had new tires, oil change, and brakes. After a test drive I reported a clunking in the front end. The vehicle was listed as-is so I just wanted a report as to what the problem may be. I left without confirming my intent to purchase. I returned about 10 days later to purchase the vehicle, and they had located and repaired the clunking sound as well. The financing paperwork was simple and quickly completed. It took longer to set up vehicle insurance than financing. If I had had previous insurance, that would have been effortless as well. They were terrific and there were no annoying sales calls from them between my test drive and purchase date.

Van broke down 8 months ago and this dealership said it would be 2000 to locate a leak in the engine and replace trans modular... I spent 200 dollars to get that diagnosis.Went elsewhere and mechanic found the leak quickly and realized van needed a new speed sensor. 600 dollars later it hasn’t broken down since(knocks on wood).Do not trust these people to fix your vehicle. They will get as much money out of your pocket as possible.

Bought a car from necessity one year ago! Today took it for inspection at their affiliate and the breaks and rotors are gone o. Front and back. If this car had been checked as it should I wouldnt have a big mess to fix. Not impressed!

In the course of our summer road trip, we hit a pothole and needed to get tires replaced and a bent rim worked on. A friend recommended that I speak to Mary and the folks at MacDonald Motors and I am very glad that I did. They were incredibly gracious, knowledgeable and reassuring. The work was done quickly and well. We were able to resume our long trip home to Miami with peace of mind and the rare good feeling that you get when you know you have had good and honest people work on your car. I wish to give the highest possible praise to Mathew Neal of MACDONALD MOTORS, not only as sales person but as problem solver. Unexpectedly I got a government contract that required a truck with specific requirements. I had little time to find one and had every dealer in the valley looking for it. Super friendly but unwilling to negotiate - I purchased a car from them this week. It was a good car, but their price was at the top of the KBB pricing. I asked them six times to move on the price, they claimed that had no room eventually they came down $100. I found this to be laughable. I bought the car anyway and I like it. BUT They do not have my customer loyalty because I feel like I got a good car and at a high price. They could have done better. That said, they were extremely friendly, so thats cool. - This is an update now 8 months in. 2 Months ago my transmission blew in the jeep I bought. It was out of warranty, but McDonald Motors made no effort to help or try to work with me to get it fixed at a reasonable rate. They said there is nothing they could do. Truth be told, there was plenty they could do. I realize I was out of warranty, but a good dealership will work with customers. They could have reduced some labor costs or something. In the end I do not trust them and will not bring my car to them for anything and will not buy from them again. I had to spend $3000 dollars to get my jeep back on the road. .

Patiently waiting for a long standing issue I have had with the Sales department at MacDonald Motors in Center Conway. I and my husband have been a loyal customers for many years. Since 2004, my husband bought 2 new pick up trucks there, and I bought a 2012 Ford Explorer. Subsequently I also purchased an ExtraCARE extended warranty on my Explorer. Furthermore, we have both used their service department for most of our repair and maintenance needs. Since this is the most convenient Ford location for us we have been using them despite the situation that originated in 2011. As people in the Valley know there are no other Ford Dealers in the area. The consequence of lack of competition has had its toll on us. So we shall see; I shall hold back my opinion and further commentary until I am told what the resolution will be (if any) on this long standing issue. They now have the opportunity to right the wrong. Hopeful but grounded. Stay tuned ...........

My experience at Macdonald Motors was extremely POSITIVE! I dealt with the collision repair department and they were able to fix my vehicle within two weeks and actually two days earlier then quoted. The gentleman that I dealt with was Chris Lyman, I believe he is a true asset to Macdonald Motors. I felt that he was extremely honest with me with every aspect of the repair. I could go on about the high quality of service here from all employees they are not your typical car guys. When I went to pick up my vehicle my expectations were exceeded. They did a GREAT JOB! Definitely would recommend and really dont know what those other guys are talking about.

My experience was really great. They were not pushy and gave me the facts about the truck I was interested in. On May 6 we turned in a 2016 Ford Explorer we had leased from MacDonald Ford, the Credit Manager processed the paperwork. At the time we asked for any relevant paperwork and were told there was no paperwork to give us. On May 17 I received a less than pleasant call from Ford Credit demanding to know where the car was, as they had no record of it having been turned in. I called the Ford Credit Manager who was quite defensive, said he did his job and after a second request for paperwork to prove that the car was turned in on May 6, the paperwork was emailed to me. No apology for the way we were treated by Ford Motor, no offer to make sure the situation has been rectified. Up to this point, I have enjoyed my relationship with MacDonald Ford. Their service is outstanding. After this poor customer service on the part of MacDonalds Motors, it is doubtful I will ever lease a car from them again.I have changed my review from two stars to 4. I received an email fro the dealership assuring me that Ford did indeed have a record of my leased car being turned in.A 5 star is not possible due to not providing me with any type of receipt when I turned in the vehicle, despite my requesting it. Second there was no offer to contact Ford on my behalf or to assist me in any way when I called the dealership immediately after I received the inquiry from Ford.

Terrible experience with this dealership. Bought a 2004 Pontiac from them with 61000 miles on it back in April of this year and just after the 30 day limit I have had nothing but problems with the car. The ABS module went, the transmission is leaking from the gaskets, seals and pan, need to replace the steering rack only 5 months after buying it. Not only that they gave it a sticker with an exhaust leak, rusty brake lines that just blew out today and worn tires that were so bad that the steel belting was showing on the front drivers side. (Which I replaced about 2 months after the purchase). That many problems dont just happen not even 5 months after buying a car that was supposedly inspect able. I sent them a message on their Facebook page addressing my concerns and they responded with sure we will look at it for you and they proceeded to tell me that there was no exhaust leak and the abs module had gone and it wasnt an expensive job. Come to find out it is a very expensive job. Also the transmission either needs to be rebuilt or completely replaced. While trying to talk to the service department they said they dont know potiacs when in reality any ASE certified mechanic should know GM cars. Also if you sell the car you should know something about it. Do not buy a used car from this dealership, you will be buying a piece of junk that is way over priced. $7000 for a car that needs more work then its worth.

They took me at the last minute to fix my F150. It took longer than expected, a part was missing, but I didnt charge that extra time. However of all the new car dealers I have visited in my life, this is the ugliest, oldest and not at all inviting showroom. I didnt dare sit on the couch, which was the only place to sit and wait for service.
