We shop here pretty regularly. The produce department has quite a few fruit flies. Im sure this is not easy to control but it is not appealing when youre picking out fruit and vegetables. Perhaps this is part of their Fresher than Fresh campaign?That aside, the people are friendly at the store.Ive updated my review and downgraded them. In addition to fruit flies in the produce area, now the bakery is no longer selling individual sandwich rolls as the bins are broken. The store is routinely out of staple items most people buy (noted in the included photo). This occurred well before the supply chain issues and remains today. Why have over 20 cash registers when you routinely open only 2 of them? People standing in long lines waiting to be rung up. Of course the store would like you to go to self checkout but if you have a full cart that doesnt work and besides, I dont work at Kroger so whats the incentive for ringing up my own groceries?When will the President of the Houston based Krogers make his way from his home in Boston to some of these stores to see how messed up they are? They need to have someone who lives here locally visit these stores. It seems no matter what Kroger you go to, theres always something broken. Raising it to the attention of local store management falls on deaf ears.

I like all of the Kroger locations although some are nicer than others its really dependent upon the area that you go to for example the HEB in Conroe is not quite as nice as the Kroger in The woodlands on 1488. But its like that everywhere theyre going to base the store design upon the surrounding area thats just marketing 101 but Kroger itself is a great food chain supplier and I enjoy shopping at all of their locations.

I went to this location because it is the closest one to my house, and normally I don’t have any issues, however one of the workers was really mean towards us tonight like we were planning on stealing the drinks we had. He proceeded to follow us around the store, wherever we went he was there just looking down the aisle pretending to be busy. I didn’t get a chance to read his name tag because we were too busy trying to shop for groceries, however Donna, the woman that works at the self checkout, was just the nicest person ever and had amazing customer service. She helped with everything we needed and was just really great, she deserves a raise or something, she is definitely the nicest employee there.

Had everything I needed... Except all lines/lanes were 4-6 ppl deep. Even self checkout had ppl waiting. We need more humans and fewer automated options. Personally I blame the corporate office for these AI moved. Ijs 🙄 !!!

We always go near close of business. Not crowded at all. I use a wheelchair and its easier to navigate without people jumping in your path or ignoring. Front end staff are social and glad that your there, helpful when ringing up items.

This Kroger is not the store closest to our house but I had a bit of an emergency and this was the closest Kroger I could find. The manager Matt helped me and I just couldnt be more grateful. I will continue to tell my friends and family how much we love Krogers! Always excellent customer service and a helping hand! Thank you Matt and also thank you to Jennifer at Customer Service for taking the time to listen to me.

The most incompetent pharmacy staff I have ever dealt with for medicine. After being told the medication was ready over the phone, waited for nearly a hour in line… then to be told the order was not ready. The clerk then tells me the wrong pricing and then instead of fixing it on her end, tells me I will need to come back tomorrow. Guessing life or death does not serve as a issue with Kroger pharmacy procedure.

Maybe its just how Kroger operates...but omgosh you guys are sooo freaken slow. At everything. The deli, the seafood area, checking out, bagging the groceries. This place is great for old people because you all move like you 85 years old.

It was the best experience Ive ever had at a grocery store!! Isles of foods with a wide variety of brands to choose from. It even has a clothing section!! Ive never seen such a wonderful place. The produce section was nice and a wide variety of beer selections as well. I would recommend going here!

Ive always had a great experience when shopping at Krogers. The only negative thing about Kroger is that their soft goods are WAY too expensive. I would compare the prices to like Macys or other high end department stores. To me Kroger is a fancy walmart supercenter with way too much fancy. I really enjoy the supermarket side of Krogers, but each time I visit the soft goods side, I feel inadequate and so ... poor ...lol. Anyways, stick to the groceries Kroger. Macys you are not.

Just finished shopping there, the checker was Macie. She didnt say hi, never made eye contact, never said thank you, she was on the phone talking to someone. We finally got her to acknowledge that we were there by saying your welcome and we bagged our own grocerys. Then there was a lady that came up (that work there) watched me bag my grocerys, couldnt get any ruder that.

Bought a Tuna Salad container on the 28th. Made a sandwich today and saw it must be used by the 27th. My fault for not checking the date. I do enjoy shopping at KROGER.

So I got gas at this gas station and it has now ruined my Dodge Challenger r/t. The amount of algae and water that was in the test is absolutely horrible. My entire fuel system and anywhere gas touches my car is now ruined by the amount of algae and water that was in the fuel. I had to file a claim on my insurance just to help with this problem. I need to let the public know what I am dealing with. I did let the kroger know about the problem and they had no interest in taking my name or number when I let them know of the problem. And now I am hearing of multiple cases with the same problem

Moved near this Kroger location about 3 months ago and started doing most of my shopping here. Today, when I took two (2) new prescriptions to be filled, I was told they werent accepting new customers. I explained I have all of my prescriptions filled at another Kroger, but wanted to try their pharmacy, but the employee once again refused to accept my new prescriptions.Ive never heard of a pharmacy refusing business.Ive been a long-time Kroger shopper for 30 years and I was shocked.Perhaps with the increase in prices of products in their store, they dont need any more money.So, I took my shopping list and drove to the Kroger that does welcome my business and prescriptions and I spent over $300 on groceries.Every month, we spend about $2,200 including groceries and medication and since we were refused service at the location on South Loop 336, Ill be giving my business and money to the Kroger located on Spring Stuebner (even though its further away from our home).Weve been at that location since they opened a few years ago and it is a great store that gives personal service. The pharmacist and management know me by name.Im sure the Kroger at South Loop 336 wont miss me a bit.

So I can say is that it was an experience... And not one employee knew anything that I asked about so sad actually...

If this was an HEB then I would not have to wait in line for 15 minutes. Only two regular checkouts available during rush time.

I will never shop with this store ever again. If you want good produce go elsewhere. I did a pickup on my groceries and when I got home I opened my bag with my raspberries and it had a funky smell. I took a closer look and all 4 containers were bad. I called and asked for my money back cause you can’t eat them. I was told to drive back to the store or get store credit. I didn’t want store credit because half my raspberries were bad last time. I just wanted my money back so I could go elsewhere to get good raspberries. I don’t recommend shopping here for produce at all.

Its dirty. Its too new to be this dirty. I was looking to buy apples in a bag--two bags had rotting apples in them. I stopped looking. You will never have a quick trip at this store--the layout is strange and the clothing and the kitchen goods section are placed in the middle of food shopping--in the way and inconvenient. I went to self check-out and I didnt want to touch anything or scan my food because once more, it was so dirty. And beware if youre looking to get cash back--they charge a fee. So disappointing.

I appreciate this pharmacy and the hardworking staff more than I can express. They are extremely helpful with any and all of my concerns regarding medications and pricing. Those ladies ALWAYS go out of their way to be engaging, friendly and helpful. My family and I would like to say thank you and keep up the good work!

Brand new store! Nice and friendly!

Rude! I just transferred my prescription to this store. I just retired and dont have to use the one my former company required me to use. Since we shop here why not? I started getting phone calls that my prescriptions are ready. So, I called to see how much it would be since we dont have money falling out of our pockets. The young (I guess I will use the term lady although it could probably be argued) lady said they would not give me that information. I asked why not and told her that other stores have. She just said they dont and hung up on me! She needs to be trained in customer service and the pharmacist or manager that promotes that behavior should have their employment terminated. I guess when they can give me a price I will go get it or COSTCO is just down the road.... By the way KROGER CORPORATE COMPLAINTS information is pretty easy to look up and they supposedly will contact within 48 hours. Well see.

Prime time shopping and they only have one register open. The self check out I chose had a broken scale, and and the register became annoyed at every item I placed in the bag. The attendant was very focused on her handheld device and treated my futile attempts to scan groceries as a mild inconvenience. I ended up canceling the checkout and waiting in the line for the lone checkout attendant. She was very pleasant. I still spent longer in checkout than I did shopping.

I don’t know what is happening at this store, but it needs to change. Last week, there were NO carts inside the store. I turned around to go get one outside and noticed several elderly people headed in and had to let them know, they needed to take a cart in. Incredibly inconvenient to force elderly people to go back out to get a cart. Today, there were carts, but when I went to check out, both the checker and bagger were on their phones. They put them up as I started putting my items on the belt. I said hello to both and tried to engage them in a small talk. The checker gave me the standard “How are you today” didn’t respond when I asked the same back. The bagger didn’t respond at all. Both seemed completely disinterested in the fact that another human was standing in front of them, completely disinterested in their job and couldn’t even be bothered to fake it. The second my last bag was put in my cart, out came the phones again. I said thanks...I did not even get a single response or even eye contact. As I walked out, I noticed the dreadful state of the landscaping (I’m in the industry) and all the trash laying about. This store is less than 3 years old and should not be in this condition and the staff needs to realize that customers are more important than their phones.

I usually have great service great experience but this time I felt racially discriminated. The store was packed as expected because of the new year holiday, a new lane had opened and a caucasian women was the cashier and she pulled another caucasian women to go into the lane when the customer was on her phone obviously not paying attention going into the wrong lane and we already had placed our stuff on the counter and made us take all of our stuff of and she stated “ oh she was first “ her name was angel I just felt this was very much disrespectful. Then the customer was about to leave with half her cart full.

I am a huge fan of Kroger. This one, is my new favorite. It was clean, well stocked, and the staff was very friendly.

Absolutely no enforcement of the mask law. In a quick walk through (not at a busy time) I saw at least 14 customers and 2 employees not wearing masks. I brought it up to an employee and she said they are absolutely not allowed to say anything to anyone about it under any circumstances. I asked to speak to their manager and he told me they WERE enforcing the law—and made a big show of looking around when I said they obviously aren’t because of how many people are being allowed in without masks.This store cares nothing for the safety of their customers or employees. UNSAFE.

Every single time I go in there, long check out lines, and theyll only have to lanes open. Kroger has always been comfortable with letting their customers wait in lines. Im over it. Never going back. Ive never had to wait longer then a minute at HEB. Shouldnve done made the dmswitch years ago

Beautiful store, abundance of healthy options. Bulk item choices are outstanding! Few eatery choices and Starbucks inside. I will be passing up 2 HEBs and 1 Kroger just to come to this one for sure!!!! Worth it!

I was so excited when they started “enforcing masks” because this is my closest local grocery store and I shop where they are required because I have high risk family members. Today I went into the store not just person mask free but I saw 6 while being there 15 minutes top. Five of them were together and the employees said nothing to them. Good to know this Kroger doesn’t care about its customers.

I shop there every weekend. The employees are great people, and are really helpful. I cant say anything bad about the service, but when I went in there this weekend to find some disposable surgical masks I was shocked at the marked up price. You get 10 masks for $14.99! That is outrageous, and I consider that price gouging since before all this they sold a box of 25 masks for around $11 and some change. Thats messed up. Dont buy there mask. You can find them cheaper somewhere else. I really hope they fix this soon.

The pharmacy staff is very rude. And I’ve never heard for it to take so long on filling a script. My son’s doctor sent it over yesterday and they said they would have it ready in a few hours. It is now noon the next day and it’s still not ready they said another hour. That is sad there is kids that need their medicine and here it is the next day and my son still doesn’t have his antibiotics. And when I tell the worker that she said like I said it will be another hour.

Lines are always way too long. They never open more than two or three registers.

On 7/10, my husband & I had stopped by Kroger pharmacy drive thru. One of the (new) Rx was going to cost $200 since our insurance was not going to pay. We mentioned we would go home & look up a discounted coupon if any available. Jessica, Pharm Tech, was so gracious to go ahead & look for one herself. Wow, she found one that saved us quite a bundle! We were so thankful for Jessica helping us...the best! We love coming to Kroger for our Rxs and grocery shopping.. all the staff have always been gracious and helpful.

The only disappointing thing I have about Krogers is there meat in their butcher Department none none of the beef has typically a real red color to it its all brown for the most part now the cost is pretty effective to the quality of that. I would not suggest buying their expensive high-end beef products yes they have a little red to him but the gristle is insane like lower cut

This store is enormous and some of the employees can’t even tell you where to find something. I purchased an item of clothing that wasn’t cheap $27 on sale. I washed it once and it looks like a rag, very poor quality. I tried to return it with the receipt for store credit and they refused, saying it had been washed so they wouldn’t accept it, no exchanges just no. Terrible service and my business is going to HEB from now on.

This is the closest grocery store to me so I’m really disappointed that they are not enforcing mask wearing. I’ve been twice lately. The first time I thought maybe it was just an off day and not the norm but today I look around and see at least 15% of the customers are not wearing their masks at all. Most of those customers also had children old enough to wear masks but not while touching things they won’t buy. They also have no one at the front to clean baskets so if you get one who know who coughed or sneezed on it prior to you. On top of that they don’t have enough registers opened so the lines are insane. Even after Covid passes I will not shop here again. This is food they are selling for us to take home and ingest. If they aren’t clean in this way I’m wondering what else they do or don’t do that affects my food.

If I could leave a negative review I would. Prior to COVID I noticed this particular store never has good produce. It’s either not ripe at all or molding. They are the closest store to me so sometimes I still go to grab a few items but lately I’ve noticed that there is never anyone cleaning baskets. The last time there was an employee at the door with the cleaning stuff but Snapchat or insta was more important than her job.... They leave cleaner and napkins for you to do it yourself but I don’t know what the point of that would be. If I touched the cleaner that everyone else is touching I might as well touch my basket that everyone else is touching. masks are not enforced. I have seen lots of customers and some employees who are not wearing one at all or are wearing it pulled down. Then when you checkout you get to stand in lines of 5+ people long that do not seem to respect social distancing. Last but not least nobody is wiping down the self checkout area and there is no option to Apple Pay to keep from touching the keypad. Even if I only need a couple items I will drive a little further to HEB.

Love this Kroger! I live a 1/2 mile away from Kroger Magnolia but when I need something from Kroger, I will drive here. It’s always clean and people are nice. Highly recommend this place!

Very clean and well stocked Krogers, my only minor complain is usually most of the cash registers are not open, which could lead to a bit longer wait time. Other than that, great store, helpful employees and although corporate places want employees to impose themselves on customers, I love the fact they dont go out of their way to overly greet me, but they are also always around if I need assistance.

I used to enjoy going to this location until today I was on my way to work and decided to get a salad and soup for lunch. Being that it was still early I put my salad together and there were no “specific” containers to put my dressing in. Who puts dressing on their salad if they are not going to eat it then or soon? That being said I had to use one of their small soup containers to put my dressing in. There was a woman putting the soup out and some man or should I say wanna be drill Sargent name tag specified his name was alan? came up and demanded what I had put in the container. I told him it was dressing and he said there were other containers for that purpose and there were none in site as I explained earlier. He was very rude and made me feel very uncomfortable. In the future this place should have managers or people on the floor who are helpful not rude and demanding. After that I got my soup and he was just staring at me made me feel very very uncomfortable. I left as soon as I could because I did not want to lose my cool in the store. Shame I won’t be going back here for this purpose. Hire nice people. Not. Crazies

Amazing selection, great prices, impressive discounts all the time. Great options of organic/health brands and products. And all in a very nice, huge store. Their produce is always so good and fresh, and theres such a wide selection. They even have stylish clothes and a nice beauty section.

This Kroger is wonderful. The produce section is so fresh. Also has a big selection of prepped veggies . Good prices. Employees are very willing to help. They were out of the 32oz shredded cheese I needed. Dean in dairy gave me a deal on 2 16oz bags. The customers are friendly also.

Went to Kroger for the first time in 3 months wearing a mask. A customer was yelling at the worker for having no meat, and getting in her face! The man’s wife was harassing me for wearing a mask and continually getting in my face! Did not feel safe! Felt bad for the worker who’s hazard pay has been cut, when people are behaving this way!

The new store is awesome. People are still friendly as always makes you feel like family. I never had to use map for a grocery store however it was my first time being there. Everyone I came I contact with said customers always comes first. I love it this store its nice and big. Has everything you need. Thank you keep up the good job.

I love krogers

This has to be the most poorly ran Kroger in the state. Most grocery carts have broken wheels, lines are generally 3 to 4 people deep, I could go on and on. These guys at Kroger really need to take a hard look at HEBS business model and replicate.

Great store. Cart guys are great except for 1 short guy with short blonde hair that likes to slowly walk in the middle of the isles where cars are trying to drive. Not cool with a crying toddler in the car. Happened twice. Walking straight towards the car. Eye contact and all.

Incredibly long lines and expired product on the shelves. When this place first opened, they brought the horrible management from the old Kroger over to it and it showed. Fast forward to present day and even with what looks like managers constantly on the floor, they still provide a negative experience to customers. What is the point of having lanes for small items if your wait time is the same as if everyone was buying out half the store? I understand it is cost effective to have one or two real lanes open and force the rest to use self checkout, but is the money saved on labor worth potentially losing customers? Also, with that extra money, maybe invest in training your management in the actual delegation of tasks. In multiple areas of the store, expired product still lives on shelves waiting for a customer to buy, get mad, and return. Employees have to be trained and managed or they will keep repeating the same mistakes. When issues keep occurring like this, then it falls directly on management whose job it is to ensure the store is operating smoothly for the customer, and creating a positive customer experience. As it stands, the only reason I even bother using this Kroger at all is due to the fact they carry a few items our local HEBs do not. The funny thing about allowing products to become expired is Kroger loses money on it. Items that cannot be returned to vendors once close to or at expiration Kroger vigorously throws on clearance to move before they hit expiration to still make some sale on it. By leaving product ro essentially die, management is hurting their store.

Very large and well organized! They even sell clothing and home decor items. Customer service was friendly and efficient. The produce and meat were fresh. Clean facility and grounds. Love it!!

I waited in line at the Deli for awhile as two associates helped one woman. As I was waiting patiently, Leanne, the Deli associate starred at me awkwardly as I waited. I realized then, she was procrastinating to get out of helping me. I’ve been a loyal customer for years and now I’ll take my business to HEB.

First time shopping at this location. It is one of the big Krogers that has everything you could need and say it honestly competes a little with walmart. We found everything we were looking for plus some items we didnt really need as they had a good sale on some Christmas items. I was surprised at the food area here had a full deli, pizza place, sushi, full bakery, and a Starbucks. We will for sure be using this location frequently and recommend to anyone looking for a good Krogers to shop at.

Newly built store. Great prices and tons of coupons. The best part is the fuel parts. If you price match, some of the stuff here is a little more expensive. However its not THAT much more than Wal-Mart or HEB. Associates and management are extremely friendly to everyone.

This is a new location which opened for business this month. This is a beautiful store which is in the superstore format selling, in addition to groceries, clothing, housewares, etc. A Starbucks is part of the store as well. Accommodations exist for wheelchair access and parking. A well planned parking area easily navigates you to the new on-site fuel center. Good traffic flow with multiple entrances/exits compliments the location.

Store is always clean and well stocked. Staff is helpful and friendly. Starbucks at this location is a nice touch. The dining area is always good for a quick bite.

I just reflected to the Conroe area and this Kroger is 5 minutes from work. I love getting my lunch here. Always fresh and affordable. Beats the heck out of fast food. Clean store, center and great service.

Nice new store concept, plenty aisle space, hard to bump into another customers basket.Well organized. Restaurant like area is a plus, along with the self pay cashiers, self serve soft drinks and utensil station will make your lunch time pleasant. Salad garden need to be refreshed more frequently, all greens are not looking fresh, dry out, oxidized, guacamole looks green and brown. Not tempted and willing to spend the money at all...

This is a beautiful new Kroger. Its a big, bright store and the staff was friendly. This store actually has a clothing section in it! I was able to pick up Levi Jeans on sale for only 10 bucks! I would reccomend this place if youre nearby or dont mind a short drive.

Big store with regular products, high pricing and more than 65 big lanes of same products, so you need to walk more and spend more time shopping. Nothing new to surprise anybody, same baked goods, same produce, etc... Only new item is fresh orange juice. Dont waste your time here.

I love this new Kroger marketplace. Its a lot like the one in Willis, but all shiny and new. They have it all. All the cold stuff is enclosed in doors like the frozen food section. I pass 1 Kroger to get to this one. Will be back many times.

Since it has opened this location never has enough checkers on shift. There is always a line unless it is 10:00pm at night, then only self check is open. I regret coming most times, and H-E-B near me never has this problem.

I love that store!!!. A few kinks when they first opened but, Ive seen the improvements that are great. I dont say a word on how to bag r sack the groceries. Sofar always a great job!!!Very friendly staff!!!
