AMAZING experience purchasing a slightly used boat from SMG Boats! We live in Ohio and purchased a boat without traveling to Texas. Charles Mueller from their Texas location was excellent to work with. No BS straight to the point. Very knowledgeable on all types of watercraft. I flew from Ohio to Austin where I found the boat in the exact condition as stated on the phone (cream puff). Charles picked me up from the airport took me to the yacht club and took the boat out for a test drive. Very professional staff. They own several dealerships throughout the US. When my Monteray 340 Sport Yacht will reach its destination it will actually be at a dealer they own! So I now have a dealership that I can trust that will prepare my boat for the season and show me the ropes upon delivery in the water. I am a very picky person and I have to admit I am impressed with SMG and the communication that Charles had through every step of the process. I received pictures when the boat was put on the transport. The haul, the out drives, the exterior, the interior and all the windows. I expect they will do the same at delivery. I would absolutely recommend SMG for your next boat purchase. I know I will be back for my third boat when its time.

TOP NOTCH SERVICE ! Me and my wife drove from Alabama to pick up our boat. Our salesman Larry was on point and very helpful through the whole process as was all the SMG staff. Overall from arriving to the extreme sports meca..to test driving the boat on the private lake and the knowledge of everyone on the boats was excellent. Bryce (Brice) the sales man for the water skis and wake boards is a phenomenal employee for the dealership!!!!! Any equipment that I need I will certainly return to repeat business. As a hard core slalom skier he was able to completely fix me up with everything that I needed to get back on the slalom course. I have already recommended him multiple times and will continue to do so. I cant say enough about how knowledgeable, thorough, friendly and helpful he was. The selection of top end slalom skis was great.And if Malibus are your boat of choice, the dealership looked completely stocked and killer also.

Bought a small electric Bennington Pontoon from these guys and just recently took delivery. We knew what we wanted, and Charles did a great job helping us put the finishing touches on it. Electric pontoons are not their everyday bread and butter but he did a good job finding out what we needed and the shop did a great job putting it all together. He went out of his way on a hard delivery & launch and made everything happen smoothly. Excellent job all around.

Hey you want a fantastic fun experience buying a boat? One name to deal with: COLBY! So considerate and fair! He actually made it TOO easy to buy one! But we are very pleased with our new boat! Thank you for everything, Colby!!!I posted this before using our boat a 2019 Be nington 22 feet with a 115 Yamaha.It was not performing at all. No speed. Motor sounds as if it is straining.Called and had to speak to John in service. Rude is all I can say.He says take it up with Yamaha and that we still owed him $400! He installed a depth finder for us and wanted to charge us 476 for doing it! Never at any point did they mentioned a cost! Id have had someone install it at that ridiculous cost! We figured after spending nearly 40k they were doing it for us at no cost! Long story short...we will pay someone to do our 20hour checkup as we feel we certainly will not get any real service as they feel like we owe them!One last thing, if you are selling boats; wouldnt you think youd sell them with the right equipment? We have a friend and son in law who most definitely will not go here!

I recently traded my wakeboard boat for a new Axis A24. The staff at SMG was very helpful from the very beginning when we planned and then custom ordered my new boat. My family and I had an amazing experience purchasing a new wakeboard boat from SMG in Conroe. Our salesman, Sam Thorton, walked us through the entire process and made it a very low-pressure, comfortable buying experience. Hes great. I also appreciate the efforts of George in their finance dept, for making that aspect easy as well. Now its time to hit the lake!

We purchase our pontoon boat, Bennington, from SMG Wake of Houston. The location is conveniently located next to I45 with easy on and off. Colby Sechelski and his team went over the boat package details, answered all our questions, made suggestions on getting the grandchildren acquainted with wake boarding and provided a demo ride on their recreational lake located on site. We felt we got a decent deal and the purchase went very smoothly. The delivery was free and included an instructional driving lesson. Colby was very personable, as if part of the family. He is not there to make a one-time boat purchase but is offering a long term on-going business relationship. Looking forward to SMG Wake of Houston performing our servicing needs for the future.

I have been once to there store and once on a demo in Conroe. Both times I was not pressured at all to buy anything which was nice because that is usually why I avoid going to dealerships. There staff answered every question I had and there facility speaks for itself. If they have a boat you want I would not hesitate at all to buy from SMG.

Bought a used boat recently. Its pretty cool that they have a spot to test drive the boat. Part of there sales pitch is that they go through the boat to make sure everything is functional and safe repairing anything within reason to make the boat function as it should. I paid an extra grand for them to do this. They serviced the engine but the batteries werent strapped into their trays and bounced around when i took the boat out damaging a couple things. One of the batteries was bad and they didnt replace it even though i specifically asked for it. They did get the boat ready on a tight deadline but those were a couple of big oversights so i give them three stars.

We bought a boat one year ago from the Conroe location . We bought a used boat and were assured that their mechanics had looked over the motor and it was in great shape . That can not be true as the motor is covered in rust and corrosion which means its been in salt water for awhile without proper maintance. We asked specifically about rather or not it had been in salt water and were told no . When we first got home with it the bilge pump was out . On the water the boat software went out and we were in Austin for a week with family . I called Smg to email me the software update so we could get back on the water quickly . They said it would take a few days . That was last July I have never heard back from them . Luckily a place in Austin emailed me the update asap and saved out lake trip . NO help from SMG . Beware they will sell you anything and when you leave they are done with you . Also very dishonest . So disappointed in this place and will never return .

Worst customer service! Selling a boat that my family had a deposit on then trying to come up with excuses. Amateurs!!! They could care less

Our family recently purchase an Axis Wake Board boat from SMG and the entire experience was driven by excellent customer service from start to finish. Alex is/was our salesperson and he knows these boats from front to back and side to side made my decision on who to purchase from a no-brainer and I had meant with sales people from Mastercraft to Tioge and he was the most knowledgeable. Once the decision was made we were introduced to AJ and again we were greeted with a smile and she went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and understood our purchase.
