As others have shared, they have a safety protocol in place ensuring mask wearing and limited numbers of people. Also, their staff members were just magical. I can’t thank the young member who thoughtfully and patiently engaged my 6 yr old to make her bear. Fantastic experience.

This was by far one if the most memorable events, the young lady that assisted us was GREEEEAAAT with the kids, I watched her give special attention to each child and their selected bear. The birth certificates were a huge hit with me. The photo shoot was pretty awesome as well.The young man there was extremely helpful as well. The kids were just amazed at all the available options. Im going back to build myself a bear🤫

I love Build A Bear! My children had many bears- now Im buying them for my grandchildren! I even have a few of my own!!! I love how BAB is keeping the store clean- hand sanitizing station before you touch products, only few shoppers at a time. As always- the employees are amazing! The bear grooming station has been removed- smart idea- every child loves to brush their bears there- couldnt imagine trying to sanitize that area down after every child. Love Build a Bear !!!!

I took my 4 year old granddaughter to Build-A-Bear to celebrate graduating Pre-K. Adults have to wear masks. If you dont have one they will provide one. The store has been reduced in size but still has a great selection to choose from. My granddaughter got the Elsa Bear with a white graduating gown and cap, plus a tutu and sparkly shoes. And a string backpack to carry it all in. She loved everything about it. She got a sound button instaled that plays Let It Go and a personalized message from her Poppa and I. The lines we short.We were in and out under 30 minutes. Build-A-Bear makes everyone feel like a child!

We had so much fun. The lady helping us was there by herself, but treated us like her only customers. She was so patient with us and even helped with the baby. She did not get frustrated when she was swamped with people, she took her time and made everyone feel like they were the only customer! It was a great experience.

I love Build-a-Bear! My daughter, now 15, had at least 4 bears when she was younger. My 4 year old went for the first time today and got Pikachu. The ladies that help stuff the bears are very sweet and pleasant and you could tell they love what they do and enjoy making kids smile and I appreciated that. I love the scent option and heartbeat for the bears, very nice addition.

Great place to build your custom bear

We had my daughters third birthday party here and it was so much fun. The ladies working here were awesome and if you do a birthday party here you get a 50 dollar gift card that you can use towards the payoff of the party. It was a blast and all the kids loved it. The only hard part is theres really no place for cake and ice cream and opening presents. We went to the food court and if course it was insane on a Saturday but the party itself was great.

Definitely not an exciting experience for my two kids when we went. The employee didnt seem to be great with kids and didn’t make it a typical “build a bear” experience. Even with covid distancing, it could’ve been a lot better.

Talk about NOT making your kid feel special!!! Took my daughter for her birthday month to get the special birthday bear and it says they get a sticker,crown,photo prop, heart ceremony and bell ring with special announcement. Other than paying less for the bear didnt feel very birthday special. Had to ask multiple times for a birthday crown and to get the photo prop. No sticker and not even offered a box for the bear..... I know I didnt pay a lot of money but my kid still deserved her special moment!!!!!

Amazing experience and friendly staff. Store is nice and tidy, wonderful atmosphere, takes me back to being five again. Lets be honest, its great for all ages, great experience, its fun to pick out and stuff and dress your bear. Its a great place to go if you dont mind shelling out a bit.

This store is so fantastic. My daughter was invited to a build a bear birthday party about a year ago and her stuffed puppy was starting to lose her leg. Build a bear didnt hesitate to jump into the repair and it was at no charge. Yes you may be able to buy a cheaper stuffed animal elsewhere, but the accesories and most of all the customer service and friendliness of the staff cannot be bought nor beat anywhere else. This particular locations staff was friendly and went above and beyond despite the COVID environment. They took extraordinary sanitizing measures and were respectful and safe. I dont know what else to say, except that our Concord Mills Location is the best and I have a happy Daughter and fixed Puppy. Thank You Build A Bear!!!

Build-A-Bear workshop is pretty much an event. The store was pretty small from my memory many years ago, but now has an array of different characters for the bears.The price is reasonable for the experience and the Bear you got that. We walked out with a wardrobe for a teddy bear lol the bear is just better than I am now.Stop by & try. Give me a thumbs up if you liked the spot👍

Its great. I love BAB ever since I found the old Starry Night Kitty model. Then, what really sealed my love was having a Snow Leopard furry friend. I LOVE snow leopards! Then, I got a Jigglypuff and its adorable!

I took my five-year-old there for the first time and she absolutely loved it. The price is a little expensive however the memories is totally worth it. The staff is definitely child-friendly and they do a great job of interacting with the children.

Kids love coming here. Its pricey but its a fun treat, every once in a while. Workers are always friendly and enjoy their jobs.

Took the children I nanny to get a bear and we we’re turned away before we even walked into the mall. This “pay your age” event was such a ploy to attract their decreasing customer base because no one wants to pay $25+ for a teddy bear and THEN pay for clothes and accessories. so so disappointing. And the planned reconciliation by Build-A-Bear was ONE coupon per family for those who weren’t able to make bears... Excuse me while I decide which child out of the FIVE I brought gets to make a bear.

Today was the worst day ever!!!! Pay your age day should have been planned out better then it was. How do you not order enough stuff ? How come the time of opening was confusing with the mall time ? If you open at 9 am it should have been. Shared. Not only that some people even got let in at 8:30 am !!! But the mall and the phones said open at 10 am. Regardless when where you got there it was sold out and we was given 15.00 coupons per house hold vs per child !!!!! The sale is pay your age for every child so we should have been given the same deal in a coupon I am very disappointed the coupon is not. Fair as the sale was!

This place is a joke! After the pay your age promo that failed! Went here with my family to use the coupon voucher, kids are excluded! Are you serious! And instead of $6 we had to pay $15! The people there only repeat the garbage that they are told. Bad customer service, learn your customer base!

I absolutely loved pay your age day!!!!!! I was first one in store that day and i built 4 bears with my four little boys Bobby, Branson,Bueller and Buckie and had the time of our lives. Little hard getting out of store. Build a Bear will always have my bisimess!

Oh how can you love a place and hate it at the same time?! You walk into BAB and you become a little kid again. Look how cute that bear is! And the pony and the...well you get the idea. I went in there with my grandson to get a new toy after that pay your age fiasco. He chose Pikachu and picked out a unicorn for his little sister. Easy part. Now the part I hate, waiting in line. We got there when the doors opened on a Monday morning and ten minutes later the place was a mad house! Finally its our turn to stuff our new little friends. But by now we are also buying hearts that beat and voice boxes that sound like Pikachu and fairy dust. Can this get much cuter? Yes, yes it can and it will. I dont care how long you stand in line if you can be mad at a BAB employee you are a stronger person that I am! They are so sweet they almost give you a cavity! But they make your little one smile and laugh and you forget you waited in line for almost half an hour. They are devious that way. Now you have to accessorize your new best friend. Fun, fun, fun! PJs, dinosaur shoes and lightsabers for Pikachu. Tutu, four sparkly shoes and a backpack for the unicorn. And maybe a few other things. Now its time to make birth certificates and name your new best friend! I told you it would get cuter. Names withheld to protect the innocent. I wont tell you how much all this cuteness cost but I will tell you I would do it all over again in a heartbeat (pun intended) to see my grandsons smile carrying that box that every child can recognize a mile away and my granddaughters face light up when she saw her unicorn in all its sparklyness for the first time.

Erin and Meredith are very rude. They follow you around the store and harass you, they make you feel unwelcome and have nasty attitudes. They even lied about the bathrooms being broken so I could not use it when other customers were allowed. They also charge for restuffing bears even though headquarters has explicitly told them RESTUFFING IS ALWAYS FREE!

Overpriced and to much of a rush job...remember this being a little different last time I was in one years ago.

Its neat to see what new animals they have out. The older bears are reasonable at about $12, but the newer items are almost $30, which is rediculous

We attempted to attend the event today and were sorely disappointed. We were in line when the store opened, were required to leave the line due to nursing a baby when we attempted to go get back in the line only 10 minutes later(at the end, no one saved our spot) we were informed the line had closed! We were told lines would be long on the website but were NOT informed the line would close and we would not be allowed to get back at the end of the line after breastfeeding. Not a very family-friendly practice to have us leave the line and not allow us to return.

I wish I could give more but my boys had an upsetting turn out. They chose minions for their birthday gift. Stuart and Bob. 30 minutes into our 2 hour drive home they discovered Bob had Stuarts voice box and Stuart Bobs. They cried almost all the way home.
