I’ve been a customer for 15 years after continuously having to endure increases for the same service. Everything is fine as long as you don’t need anything from them. The only way I received an upgrade to my outdated equipment was after trying to close my account. They provide new customers with a lower price and offer more products for protection. I’ve had to pay to replace equipment and batteries over the years because they don’t. Their equipment in the closet has taken over, instead of a clean install they continue to add wires and staple power outlets and modems etc. looks horrible . And getting them to come and check everything out requires a wait due to limited appointment times. And when they do come they try their best to do the least and whats easiest. I recommend you look closely at other options, before getting into a contract with ADT.

The main office and sales never got my work order correct. The pricing kept changing. No one in management had accurate records of my order. During installation I made 3 calls to get accurate billing. The issue is still not resolved.... my recent experience with ADT was a total MESS!!!The technician was great...but interaction with main office was terrible!!!

ADT security is the very BEST **********, not five, but TEN**********The technician was patient teaching old me how to use the system.His name is *****FRANCO*****. *****James*****, I think he is the supervisor, I am not sure. He was very kind too. I am BLESSED.

Tony called to inform me he was on the way. He was polite, kind and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Tony to anyone. I also appreciated the woman who helped set up my initial appt., she was very helpful, even so far a looking back in the records to see my old, old account & assist me with a discount. Super thankful to ADT ....when I had service years ago, the system stopped my home from burning. Happy to be a repeat customer.

Some of Sales/ Upgrade staff have no clue about your products. Your techs are outstanding. The techs are very knowledgeable. I was told by Sales to upgrade system to get a iPad monitor for kitchen which I had until they upgraded system in January of 2020. I also wanted to upgrade two of five cameras to panoramic views. This could not done in either case.New system requires all five cameras to be replaced and no monitor for kitchen. A total of three hours on hold - cancelled service and contract after 6 plus years. VERY SAD

Technician, Timothy was absolutely awesome! His efficiency, expertise and knowledge base resolved the issues we were having with our cameras and switching our network.It would be wise for ADT to keep this gentleman employed!

If it werent for Nick out of the concord ca office the service wouldve been canceled and and system thrown in the trash. Call center is absolutely incompetent and the sub contractors are garbage. Subs are shady, replacing and taking your new equipment and putting in older used models telling you theyre better. Only thing offered in exchange is to lock in your current rate if you sign another 2 year agreement (warning: you will be charged 75% of remaining contract if you cancel).If you must choose ADT insist on actual ADT employees coming to your home and not their garbage sub contractors.

Two technicians came (Devontae and Pierre) who worked very well as a team and left me with a good system, having cleaned up everything and leaving my premises in a great condition. I recommend both of them as super competent and great ambassadors for ADT. Thank you very much.

Posted a not too positive comment on their website due to their lack of understanding of the needs to have a system that will function flawlessly in a large residency The technicians failed to account for the distance that the sensors are from the control panel and the failures that these will cause due to the inability to transmit their signals to the control panel.Failure to take this into consideration causes frequent errors in the sensors.They failed to install the correct system for the size of place. Shouldn’t they know this?

Wouldn’t recommend this company. They had a sub-contractor install my system. I had no idea it was an old system and when the camera stopped working the repair guys from the actual ADT had never seen the camera and fumbled to get it working but it was a failure. Long story. I’ve just given up. Last repair guy here on 12/28/20 couldn’t fix the camera which hadn’t been working since July ‘20 and despite multiple repair guys coming here, it’s still not recording. Now I just got a bill for $25 for the repair visit on 12/28. I thought they were top of the line but they proved me wrong!! Exhausted by their ineptness.

Stephen from the ADT Concord, CA office was fantastic!! He arrived early was very efficient with our time and installation was smooth and perfect! You couldnt ask more from a Tech than Stephen. Ask for him by name. Trained us all on the performance of the security system and cameras. ADT has a great system and now we all feel secure in our home!!! Thanks again ADT!!

ADT stood behind their promise to fix the faulty communications connection between our home and ADT. The initial problem began when ADT swapped out the radio transformer in our existing ADT equipment to be 5G capable. Our home security system had intermittent communication problems resulting in our home not being monitored by ADT . ADT sent out Jorge, Lead Technician to swap out the ADT panel to ensure our home was once again monitored by ADT. Jorge is extremely knowledgeable, efficient, professional and thorough. He exceeded our expectations! We are very satisfied with the outcome of the situation. Thank you ADT.

My ADT rep Steve Bystedt was extremely efficient, professional, knowledgeable and informative in explaining a new upgraded Smart system for my home. He took time to evaluate best options for me and made useful suggestions for my home upgrade. He told me the amount and scheduled my upcoming technician to do the installation. Yousiffs install at our house was fantastic. He partly made up for the lack of response from corporate with respect to our system not properly arming or chiming for over a year. Asked for a 6 months credit and still crickets.

Our panel was not secured after an upgrade. They told us a tech would be out the following morning. He was on time, very nice, and was very knowledgeable.

My problems started when I upgraded to the Cameras.Doorbell Camera stays offline.ADT Technical have been here numerous of time can’t seem to get it to stay online, they telling me my internet is slow,but I have a back camera and it never been off line.Had the technical to remove the doorbell cam and now my front camera is offline.Tired of calling these guys over and over and over for the same problems.

On August 13, 2018, I had Adrian Cruz from ADT come to my house to install an alarm pad and to program a partition in my alarm. Adrian arrived on time, was professionally dressed, and placed shoe coverings over his street shoes each time he entered my house....thank you Adrian.We sat down and I explained exactly what changes I wanted in my alarm system. Adrian listened carefully to everything I said, and answered all my questions. Adrian clearly knew what he was doing. He went right to work. As I watched him, I could see the speed and care he was committing to my job. He pulled out a level and made sure the alarm pad was perfectly placed. He also tested the alarm making sure it worked perfectly. But the best part, is Adrian made my wife and I feel safe. With employees like Adrian Cruz working for ADT, my wife and I will be customers for life! Thank you Adrian for everything you did for us....and thank you ADT, for sending Adrian to our home....very much appreciated.

Our technician Josiah was very good. He was polite and very knowledgeable about the ADT system. He gave us a lot of information about how to use the ADT system concerning setting up the accounts and the App on the phone. He has excellent customer service skills. He gave us his number in case we had any questions. If you need someone to come out to setup a system for you, I would recommend Josiah.

I had an ADT alarm system installed last year. I wanted to upgrade the system very recently. IMHO ADT dropped the ball in a big way. They do not deliver on their promises. If they get the issues resolved I will upgrade my rating to more of what they would like to see. Until then I will not recommend to my family or friends that they have ADT systems installed in their homes or businesses.

Salesperson, Scott, reached out to me based on me telling ADT I was moving and accommodated me for a next day appointment. Then Adrian was at my door less than 36 hours later and totally on time for installation! Adrian set everything up so fast I couldn’t believe it! In less than an hour, my home was secure and I had piece of mind. A day later I called asking for something else, and Adrian was at my house that very afternoon! Incredibly fast professional service with a nice personable touch! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The technician who came to my house, Said Laoliari, was superbly helpful. He was able to come on a Saturday. He also fixed a faulty sensor, in such a way, that its not likely to falsely activate. He also explained certain service plans that might be of interest to me. He was great, and hope I can deal with him in the future.

Cip Nicolas was so helpful setting teaching us how to set a code and was so patient with us while we were getting used to the alarms. Do not recommend it, and you might think twice before hiring it.I hired this company for a home security alarm, and I had an incident.My alarm went on, I was at work and all they did was give me a call and request the password. I asked the guy if he could at least wait for me to get there and give me a call back so I would be able to see if something happened. Nothing.So, the deal is just having an e-mail or a phone call whenever your alarm goes on, that other companies do it for 25% of the price.And if you are not satisfied with the service provided, they wont be very friendly towards you. I called today and the guy simply said Sir, you will have to pay 250 dollars if you decide to cancel your service and Im not sure what you expected us to do, and when I requested to speak with a supervisor, he simply said: I dont have one for you.So yes, they will come quick and install everything as fast as they can, but think 10 times before hiring this company, these days there are other ones a lot cheaper and with friendly people offering the same service.

Rudolph provided technical support to my ADT system at my home on 8/21/18 and solved my issue with wiring in 5 minutes. He checked the ports to my DVR first and proved there was nothing wrong with the port. He then found the wire to a plug that was the issue and made sure it was connected. His professionalism and technical support are excellent and should be highly regarded by ADT. I cannot thank him enough.

Bad customer service. Be careful when you sign the contract with this company. It’s a bait, always over charge. You want to cancel! No way! You will pay for the cancel fee a lot money. I will tell to all my friends, my family friend and the world don’t trust and don’t use this company. I’m sure I will never stay with this company after my contract. Lier and cheaters!!

Buyer Beware! This system has just been the worst since we signed up. The equipment is faulty and constantly needs to be reset. When we first got a quote the guy tried pressuring us into $4000 worth of equipment! We settled on the basic package advertised. But he guilted us into getting equipment we didn’t want instead of the equipment I called them out for! And instead of the $9 a month they advertise they will try and scare you into getting the $52 a month plan by saying the $9 a month plan isn’t as reliable! We are young first time home buyers and they took advantage! And today I had an appointment for them to come out and I had been waiting for over 4 hours and I called to see where they were and apparently they had already come and reported I wasn’t here!

My cloud camera service has been disconnected four times over the last year now for no explainable reason, and I have been unaware each time.They do not care if you are paying monthly and receiving nothing in return. They even increased their rates last month.If something happens, I have no peace of mind when I am gone because Im wasting money on a company that does not care about my safety or security.Each tech theyve sent has never seen this camera and both of our times are wasted when they leave.I cannot recommend this company.---5 times nowCamera has not worked properly for 6 months of the last year.

Too many groups selling the same plug and play systems-However, San Jose Install Management is Awesome, Angel and Jarod are what makes ADT Home Services a good experience, however the sales team has HIGH turnover due to how corporate trays it’s sales people-great name and products, but your rep probably won’t be around 12 months later

Ive had four cameras from ADT stationed around my residence the past six or seven years, but at least half that time one has consistently not worked. More than ten technicians have attempted to fix the problem to no avail. Today was my lucky day! Technician, Said Krache, ID144590, not only fixed the problem, he also adjusted my security system by fixing an error message that involved communications between ADT and AT&T. Id been told by a previous ADT technician I would have to have work done by AT&T before it could be fixed. As it happened, it was not an AT&T problem, but ADTs. Many, many thanks to Mr. Krache!

Cip and Yousif came out today to install a new system in an old building. Our building has so many challenges, from layers of previous alarm and phone systems to difficult crawl spaces. These guys worked together cheerfully, spent time throughout the day to ask our preferences, suggest best practices and coordinate additional help for a job that obviously took longer than expected. All the wiring is clean and efficient, they left their work spaces tidy during the day and upon completion. Great communication, attitude and work.
