I made an appointment and purchased 4 tires that they had in store on the website so that I wouldnt have to wait for them to be shipped BECAUSE I HAVE A PLUG IN ONE OF MY TIRES. I get an email at 315pm when my appointment is at 4pm THAT THEY CANCELLED MY APPOINTMENT. Im already in the parking lot because it was so close to my appointment time. I then approach the tire place and the bald guy is beyond rude. He wants to see the email because he doesnt BELIEVE I had an appointment. He also looked at my bank account because he didnt believe I PAID 200 dollars already for the tires! Then they claim they dont have my tires. They miscounted/sold one and only had 3 thats why my appointment was REALLY cancelled last minute. THEN THEY CANT REFUND MY MONEY. I call customer service where after 5 days they only refund half!! I have to wait another 15 days for the other half! NO WORK DONE NO REFUND WASTED MY WHOLE DAY HAD TO GO TO PEP BOYS TO GET TIRES. DO NOT PREPAY FOR ANYTHING HERE! The young guy named Chris was the only accommodating and nice one. I wont even shop at Walmart at all anymore because of this. BEWARE.

Had tires done. They have a greeter outside the garage. Good customer service. Ordered tires and scheduled appointment online. Smooth and uneventful, as it should be. Highly recommended.

I ordered a set of tires through the online Walmart website. I had the tires shipped to the Walmart location in Commack since I wanted the tires mounted there. I never received an email or notification that the Commack store received the tires. I waited 2 weeks since ordering them and since it took so long I decided to track them down. Turns out they were at the store the whole time. I finally go to pick them up so I can have them mounted there. The manager Mike lies directly to my face and tells me his tire machine can’t handle the size of the tires and that he can’t mount them. Funny thing is I had the same size tires mounted at that same location 5 months earlier in October on a different set of wheels. I explained that to him and he made up an excuse saying he got new machines (which is another lie because I remember the tire machines from last time I was there since I’m a mechanic and was watching them install the tires back in October). So Mike the manager lies to me just because it was the end of the day and almost closing time that he didn’t want to take the job of mounting them. So I had to go to pep boys down the road and have them install the tires and they even stayed way past closing time to get those tires mounted for me even though I bought the tires from Walmart and still had the Walmart stickers on them.

I changed my tires there, everything was excellent. I choose this center because I found good reviews about that one, and it was positive, so this Walmart not near me but I spend time and made a trip, and not sorry. thank you guys for a good job.

This location is a hot mess. I was told I had to wait two hours just to get three new wheels then someone else told me an hour or hour in a half cus the person who told me three don’t know what their doing. Then miss Rita the cashier wasn’t going to ring me up and put my item aside because there wasn’t a tag to ring it up. The professional thing to do was to go get another one.

Price is great, if they ever get to you. Poor management and not the friendliest people...Im going to pay more somewhere else to avoid the unprofessional treatment.

Amazing service every time! I recently got a nail in my tire, struggled my way to the care center and Manager Mike and his guys Mike and Brian were lifesavers and were more than glad to fix my tire on the spot! Huge thank you!!!

First, at 74 dollars a tire was over 100 dollars cheaper than anyone around local or the web. Ordered the tires online and shipped to the Commack location. Had the tires installed in the morning and was out in an hour. The manager Mike was great and the guy who installed the tires did a great job. I wanted to have an oil change as well but the the kid doing them was on slow stop mode.

I order tires online and have them put on the car here. The price for their tires is really great and is hard to beat. Also, the price for their bargain car batteries are also great. I bought a 2-year rated battery and it lasted five years for me. Will definitely buy again.

Called the Commack Auto Care Center today because I had a nail in 1 tire and a bubble in another. Told them that I had bought the road hazard warranty for each tire. They told me that they were understaffed and closed right now due to Covid, but I could go to Walmart in Islandia because the road hazard warranty applies to every Walmart in the country.I went to the Islandia Walmart, and they told me that they couldnt help me, and said that the road hazard warranty from Commack doesnt apply at their Center. They were obviously lying or didnt know what they were talking about because, as I said before, the road hazard is valid at any Walmart in the country.So I then went to Commack Walmart, told them about my situation, and they confirmed that Walmart in Islandia was wrong and should have replaced my tires. Even though the tire center was closed, they helped me out anyway because I got the warranty. They were very helpful and kind, and I could tell that they genuinely wanted to help me. They had both tires put on my car and ready to go in about 45 minutes. And it only cost me $25.These guys really do care about their customers, and I appreciate it very much. Compare the reviews of this Walmart to other Walmarts around Suffolk County, and you can tell that these guys are the best. Ive only had good experiences at this Walmart, and I really appreciate them helping me out even though they were closed. Definitely the best Walmart Auto Center in the area.

This place sucks. No one answers the phone. Rang for 25 minutes. Still no one picked up. But when you call head office. They answer the phone. Sorry it took me chewing some ones ear off, to get a reply. They dont install what they say they do.and their tire prices suck compared to other businesses.

Yesterday I called farmingdale service center and he was not co operative at all and look at this guy I called at this service center.. He was very nice and very informative. Never seen someone asking about what exactly you want and check in the system and give me correct information. I wish people like him is at every service center.Thank you.

Needed a set of rear tires and showed up at 7am. Mike the manager was the only one there, but he got to working on my car immediately. Work was done quickly and Mike was totally professional. Great price, but more important GREAT SERVICE! A+++

Every time I call, nobody picks up the phone. I wonder what their work hours are..???

Waited 45 minutes and multiple overhead calls for service and no one was working in the department. People whose cars that they had already taken were stuck waiting hours to get their cars back. I just wanted a key made. Customer service finally intervened and told me to go elsewhere. Unbelievable. Would never go back unless my life depended on it. Worst experience ever. I feel worse for those who couldnt get their cars back.

I went to this Walmart Auto Center at this Commack location and MIke the manager was helpful and friendly, he stated it would take a little while to put on the tire I was buying but he had me out within a timely manner. Thanks again Mike. Great. Job.

I was verbally assaulted over the phone for not having the size of my tires on available while calling about store hours.

People working at this auto department are very unprofessional and it takes hours to find some person who can help for tire change. I did change a 4 tires at this place due to great price but before they changed my tires I asked is it going to scratch my rims ? The guys said no we use plastic tools but after they changed I can see scratches rims. I asked guy you said it’s not going to scratch the rims and he replied to me I DON’t WANNA TALK WITH YOU RIGHT NOW go talk to store manager or supervisor. I spoke with store assistant manager and she said she will call me and took my number. No call so far..:( Now I understand why people don’t go Walmart for auto care.

DO NOT USE THEIR AUTO DEPARTMENTThe first time I went there for an oil change and I had to return a week later because my splash guard was not properly reattached. The manager said to bring it in and fix it. They were very nice about it so I did not hold it against them. I did return for an additional oil change months later. Turns out this time they just DIDNT PUT THE SPLASH GUARD BACK. I am selling my car so I brought it to the mechanic where they discovered some zip ties uses to reattach the first one. and with a MISSING SPLASH GUARD. I am furious. DO NOT GO HERE. The splash guard from the dealer is $200..compared to a $40 oil change...not worth it

In the month of August I took my car the Walmart in Islandia to have my back tires replaced. They werent able to get the tires off. So they drove my car back to the parking lot. There was a fencing company working in the parking lot upon the end of their day, two of their workers got into a trunk and backed into the side of my car. The total damage was $3802.02 after repairs plus my $500.00 deductible. I spoke with the store manager being that his worker was the one who drove my car and parked it behind this trunk. The store manager didnt care nor apologized for my car being hit. Now Ive across the street for a company called Rubin&Rothman for 11 years. Therefore Ive shopped in that store and spend thousands of dollars in the past 11 years. And the manager was no help what so ever. I will never shop in that store again!!!!

The new manager of the auto department Mike was incredibly helpful. He was very busy but still managed to fit me in at the last minute and fix my flat for me. It was under warranty but the paperwork was lost and he spent at least a half hour looking for it on my behalf. His employee William was also incredibly helpful. Highly recommed!!

Manager belittled the worker in front of me. Personally i find that very disrespectful and unprofessional. There is no use of bead seal when mounting the tires and workers get distracted often. My rims were not put back in the same locations they were taken from so goodluck if you have a staggered setup. Im now forced to change them accordingly when i get home. First and last time i use this type of service.

Don’t get your car done at this Wal-Mart. It’s your life on the line, you’re not shopping for discounted toilet paper. Service is non existent. Half the time there is nobody at the counter. And god forbid you run into some issue as they send you to 3 different departments!!!

I commuted over 26 miles from the Bronx to the Walmart Auto Care center in Farmingdale, NY. The Autocare folks at the Farmingdale store would not answer the phone .. I called three times -the phone just kept ringing.I get to Farningdale and find the store closed at, 5:00pm - Google search says the store closes at 8:00pm.Google search says the Walmart Auto Care store in Commack opens till 7:00pm. I get there at 6:pm and met some true professionals.Mike replaced a damaged tire on my Accord in about 20 minutes and I was on my way back to the Bronx with a smile.Thanks Mike and company ... I truey appreciate your kindness and professionalism.

I was brought to this place by my ex,& I am so glad he did! Prices are AMAZING, (quality is nowhere compromised). I have always returned here for any tire-related servicing, and they have always take care of me very well. When I bought my tires, there was a different staff, & the last couple of times, I’ve noticed a whole completely different staff (which is a good thing). The manager here, Mike, is very attentive and always tries to meet the customer’s needs. Everytime I have come for servicing, he is hard at work, & also, helped me with an issue, that was mainly caused by the former staff no longer there. I live by the city, & I drive alllll the way to Commack, because of the customer service and great prices. I trust Mr Mike and his current staff at the shop,& will definitely be returning (why wouldn’t I?) I’ve also recommended this place to several friends for tire servicing and shopping. I myself have worked in customer service, & being on the customer side, I see why certain people always go back to the place where their needs are met and they leave happy and satisfied. Mr Mike receives A++!

A++++! Service. Mike the manager was doing the work b/c he was short 2 employee. Said about a 90 minute to 2 hour wait. However did the work in about 1 hour, outstanding service. Highly recommend this walmart over the Farmingdale walmart. Mike the manager works at the Walmart Auto care center like he was running a his own auto shop he cares!

The Commack Walmart Auto Center always seem to close early. Although the website says it is open until 6 pm today (Sunday), they are closed at 4:30 pm. This is not the first time that I’ve taken the trip to the Commack Walmart Auto Center and found them closed at times when the site said they would be opened. Supposedly, they are short on technicians.

I usually go to the Walmart Auto center in Farmingdale but the service is always terrible. This Walmart in Commack was wonderful. They met all of my needs, the customer service was far better than Farmingdale, and there was very little wait.
