I contacted Star Jewelers about making a custom emerald ring that I planned on wearing daily. I provided a reference photo for what I was hoping to achieve, and we spoke at length about the pros and cons of using an emerald in a ring. We determined that an emerald wouldnt be a good fit (due to its fragility), but that there were several green gemstones we could consider! Rachel sourced several alternatives and provided options for the color and size. A few weeks after we selected the tourmaline stone and the gold setting, I had the final product! So happy to have worked with Rachel and the team on my purchase.

Every time I have been in this store, I have been impressed by everyones knowledge and care. If you are thinking of doing something funky with a custom design or an update to an older piece, they can tell you why its a great idea or (gently) why it wont work, and what a better idea might be. I hope you do better in the short north than you did in Bexley. I visited the Bexley store with a Caucasian friend from Hilliard and everything was champagne and roses. However when I visited few weeks later the experience was completely different. I am an African-American female who was treated like a drunk homeless person off the street. You need to do a better job in how you interact with customers whether they dress up or not.

I must join the many others who rate this place five stars. I stopped in by chance to get my ring size. I had zero expectations walking in, but had my usual feeling of discomfort when I enter high end stores. My friend and I expected to pop right in and pop back out. We ended up being there at least an hour and I bought two right-hand rings (and he bought cuff links)! The staff (including the furry, four-legged member of the family who lets you pet her) were so friendly. Their customer service is top notch because theyre so down to earth. They saw I was warm with my coat on; they offered to take my coat and get me something to drink. They never tried to sell me anything. Rather they let me browse, showed me various pieces, told me about my options, and helped me learn how to translate my personal style to rings (I have always been an earring person). They have one-of-a-kind pieces and there is something for everyone. I also got some jewelry education, which I shared with my boyfriend who is investigating engagement rings :-). I definitely know where Im going to get my wedding band if/when he pops the question.

Whenever I open a box and see Star Jewelers I know Im going to love whatever is inside! I have family in the area and whenever I visit I make time to stop in. The new store is beautiful and the location is great. The sales people are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I have several pairs of pearl earrings, bracelets, and necklaces. The Nepalese beaded bracelets are fun to layer with other ones I already have. The best part about my pieces is that they can be worn with dressy to casual wear. I highly recommend Star Jewelers!

I needed help replacing the back plate of a wrist watch with a cracked crystal. The cracked face was of sentimental value to me. I had tried to replace the battery myself, but couldnt get the back plate back into place. Star Jewelers got the plate back onto the watch without further damage to the crystal, and they re-attached the watch band I had removed - free of charge. This place is great and Ill happily continue to take my business there.
