The installation experience was fantastic. Bobby and his team were friendly and knowledgeable. They explained everything and made sure to clean up after themselves before they left. I was very pleased with the whole installation process. BUT the office/admin team needs a LOT of help. They wont give you a time frame for your installation appointment until the day before, which makes it impossible to plan around. I ended up having to take an entire day off work. When they came out to measure, they send a proof of the drawing for your approval. I told them the countertops on one side were too long and they agreed, but couldnt remember if they included that portion in my price. They told me just to go ahead and pay this amount and they would refund the difference if there was one. A few weeks later they did call to tell me I was due a refund (thankfully they did inform me), but its been a MONTH and I still have not received the check in the mail (yes, they do a check and not a direct deposit). Ive called several times to follow up, but still nothing. Couldve been a great experience if not for this.

Adam had very quick turnaround on our initial plan and estimate and took extra time to explain the process to us when we were in to place our order. We were initially told 2 weeks to schedule measurements but we were able to get in the same week. Joe and Gerry handled our install - they arrived timely and were quick and efficient in the process. Due to an error on the part of our contractor they were unable to install the backsplash, but worked with the contractor to come up with an alternate plan. They were very thorough in checking the fixtures to the cuts in the quartz and Joe took the time to explain maintenance and care. The only hiccup in the entire process was post-measurement - the approval and install scheduling process were very confusing and inefficient. But overall we are very happy with both the product and the efforts of all staff.

Jeremiah did a great job, his problem solving skills are extraordinary! The sink I had purchased separately created some undesirable issues and he problem solved it to make sure that the sink I adored worked for the counter of my dreams. I had visited 6-8 marble and granite showrooms and it was past time to install the marble surround on our fireplace. during our renovation. It hadbeen a frustrating experience of not finding any marble that I loved until I visited Distinctive Marble and Granite just a few minutes northwest of Dublin. It is a very cool studio with several beautiful tables of stone where people gather and work out plans. I hadnt made an appointment that day because I simply was tired of not finding anything and thought Id be in and out in less than 10 minutes. April, one of the staff, walked with me outside to the bone yard and within minutes I had put a hold on several slabs of marble. Until April mentioned it I didnt realize that quartzite and dolomite can also be used on a fireplace. And that bit of important information opened up loads of choices for me. Most people choosing stone usually return to check everything else out again and of course I did also. I even visited a 3rd time too which was fine with April, who was very friendly and patient with a great sense of humor. She did not rush me into making a decision I might be very sorry for later. She also made it clear that she wanted me to be happy with the one I was about to choose. My husband and I had decided on a marble slab and even considered using porcelain when we arrived to order the marble. Walking to where the slabs are displayed, we passed a slab of quartzite that I hadnt seen there before and was like omg, I REALLY like that one. I wasnt sure if was available or if it was too late to change my mind, and whether or not April would appreciate this big change. She said that it was available and quartzite too. What a relief! With Aprils help we moved clear patterns around on the quartzite slab to make sure we would like the fabricated design. The order and templating were simple and within a few days our quartzite will be installed. It was a pleasure to work with April and very encouraging to see that Distinctive Marble and Granite offered lots of beautiful choice slabs for us.

We are very pleased with the counter that we purchased from distinctive kitchen and bath. We replaced our laminate counter that came with our home. I will start off by saying our installers were awesome. They were professional, took their time to explain care & maintenance, and were friendly. I would definitely recommend them. Unfortunately, I cant say the same about the rest of our experience. The person who came to measure was rude right off the bat (may have been their personality, but it was very off-putting). We were told that we required extra material than our original quote for the backing, so we paid around $125.00 for more. When the installers came, they said our backsplash was now too tall and would need trimmed down. They were back in under a week to finish the job. It looks great, but we ended up paying for extra material just to have it cut back off!

Great Customer Service all the way around. The in store rep was very understanding with our daughter as she waffled back and forth between many different counters. Very patient and understanding. Once we finally settled on the best bathroom counter it was tough to get a time for install but worth the wait. Jesse & Matt were quick and efficient with the install and very pleasant and patient with my questions. I would recommend them to anyone wanting an easy transition to new counters.

He repaired the caulking and made certain the vanity top was level. He thoroughly cleaned all work areas and explained all that he was doing. Had a wonderful experience today with Geoff and Kane. Doing my own master bathroom renovation I needed five pieces of quartz installed in order to finish the job. Not only were the pieces installed perfectly both Geoff and Kane took 20 minutes at the end of the install to make sure we knew how to keep the quartz clean and how to care for the surfaces. If you need any countertop work done just ask for them. You won’t be disappointed.

Jeremiah did an excellent job on fixing chipping on our sink hold. He was very friendly and experienced. He polishes our entire countertop and guides us on how to take care of it in the future. We are very happy with his Service. Unfortunately, we are disappointed with what have been told us during purchasing the countertops. We were told any chip or crack would be cover under warranty, but when it comes to the chipping on the sick hole, they said we Dont cover that. This Ubatuba granted, and my family has it for years but never had any issue. I believe their products suck, and ill not recommend them. Also, make sure to ask and read their warranty policy before purchase.

I had some problems with my counter top that I purchased through Home Depot. They no longer deal with the company that made and installed my counter tops. They now contract out to Distinctive Kitchen & Bath. Victor and Mike came out to inspect our problem. These two young men were so polite and knowledgeable. One took the time to sand the edges of my counter top, which has helped immensely. They werent sure that they could do anything more until Home Depot made their decision on to repair or replace it. Home Depot is replacing it for us and I am looking forward to having Distinctive Kitchen & Bath come back and do the job.

We just had Tyler and Adam from Distinctive Kitchen & Bath install our new counter tops this past week and they did a fabulous job, they look awesome! Even came down on a Saturday to install a piece that was missed, much appreciated guys!!

From the selection process, to purchasing, the measuring, and installation -- nothing but the best quality service and product you could ask for.We went in on a Saturday morning and didnt have any trouble with someone to help us. Really nice gentleman helped us work through all of our options and select a few contenders. He then gave us a tour through the warehouse and the storage area to see all the different types of stone. We even got to see some LOVELY special order granite that I will never forget. A little out of our price range, but a natural wonder!We ended up going with a marble-like quartz since its easy to clean and durable.For all visits to our house, the appointments were scheduled ahead of time and we received a call 30 minutes ahead of time to let us know they were on their way. They showed up within the given time frame every time.The measurement process was fascinating to watch (its done by machine) and the tech, Will, took the time to talk through everything. Poor guy had to measure the opening for our farm sink a ton, but his accuracy paid off in the end!The installers, Jason & Nico, were super friendly and very thorough in their work and explanation. We knew they would have to notch out the sink insert onsite and they had no problems doing so - especially with Wills accurate measurements. They cleaned up when they were finished and made sure to cover care and cleaning.Super happy we went with Distinctive Surfaces! Cant recommend them enough. Very professional and reasonably priced!

Our kitchen remodel is complete now that our beautiful countertops have arrived! The entire process went very well from scheduling the measure to install. Our measure was very knowledgeable and helpful putting our minds at ease and answering our questions. He also helped with avoiding delays by advising us that our sink was too large for our cabinet. Martie Sowers was very efficient and so nice. She offered to pick up our new sink if we were unable to drop off. She followed up with us after install to make sure everything went well. The gentlemen Joe and Kamal who performed the installation were professionals with Dekton countertops and made sure that the measurements and seating of each piece were precise. The owners stopped by to checkout the job and for quality assurance measures. The plumber - electrician was excellent, knew his trade well and hooked up the sink and dishwasher efficiently and was so pleasant after his very long day. We were his last stop at 7pm! Thank you to all of the moving parts at Distinctive! It’s been a wonderful experience.

We had our beautiful quartz countertops installed in December. Everyone weve encountered at Distinctive have been a pleasure to work with, from our salesman Adam to Jeremiah, who came out today for a few minor touchups. Jeremiah was extremely knowledgeable and willingly provided suggestions on the most effective ways to clean, maintain, and service our countertops when needed. He even offered to change the silicone color from clear to gray for a more seamless look between our backsplash and countertops. Worst company Ive ever had to deal with. They messed up the measurements, which cause me to have to raise my sink, which cot me $342. The other alternative was to hire a carpenter to come add shims around my ENTIRE kitchen. They refused to do anything to help with their mistake. Then they cut part of my countertop off and took it with them to be refabricated, so now Im stuck with a giant hole in my countertop and they wont be coming back for another 4 weeks. Every time we have had to contact them about this theyve been extremely rude. If they werent paid for, Id get another company who was competent. Every contractor who has been here to work has been appalled at their lack of knowledge and all over laziness.

Distinctive Kitchens installed the countertops that we purchased through Home Depot. Martie did a great job as our project manager. I called her after the installation because we had some hand prints left on the surface of the counters and after providing her pictures she was able to confer with colleagues and determine a fix. She sent Jeremiah to clean the countertops. Jeremiah was professional, personable and very efficient. He had our countertops shining like glass by the time he was finished. He also gave us a list of products to use for cleaning our stainless steel, our tile back splashes, and our new quartz countertops. He explained why those products worked well and told us what we should not use for cleaning them. We appreciate him going above and beyond by educating us on our kitchen upgrades of tile backsplashes and quartz countertops. He was top notch and we totally recommend him for anyone that needs work done.

We recently remodeled and had a new kitchen installed. Our cabinet maker uses Distinctive Kitchen & Bath to supply the countertops. The process of templating, proof approving, and scheduling was easy and Jacqueline worked to correct our proof to the appropriate edge profile when the first proof was incorrect. The day of our installation, Matt arrived and after dry setting most of the countertops, I realized the edge profile was not what was approved. Matt worked with the team to return the countertops, have them fixed, and volunteered to come back out that weekend to install them. He and Victor worked efficiently and quickly, were very professional, and answered all of our questions! We would recommend the company and our installers Matt and Victor if youe looking for a professional countertop experience. One complaint is the girl who did the template couldnt think out of the box to measure and go back to the office to work up a price on an option we would have preferred instead of saying she couldnt do that when her phone didnt have service to call her boss and obtain a price at that exact moment. If she had been able to think beyond the box, we could possibly have given five stars.

Joe and Gerry did a nice job. They were very professional and gave me a lot of information when they finished. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Eric was there BEFORE the two hour window. I know most companies think there is a “two hour late window”. Not in this case!! I am very pleased with his punctuality as well as the professionalism. He was able to answer all the questions we had and was pleasant to meet with! Very satisfied!

Wonderful company to work with. Very helpful when I visited the store to see larger slabs of quartz before picking my countertops. Made all the requested adjustments to the template and Jesse & Matt who did the install were awesome! Large job and took longer than they probably planned but stayed until 7p on a Friday night to get the job done! I love my new kitchen!

Repaired a small chip on our quartz counter top due to a dropped object. Completed within 30 minutes. Counter looks like new. We are extremely satisfied and are glad we did not try to attempt it ourselves.
