My wife and I were in the Short North for a long weekend and came across Wine on High. What a stroke of good luck. First, they have a nice selection of reasonably priced wine choices. Second, for those that rather have a beer they have cans of beer available (one on tap) as well as a limited cocktail menu. Third and most important they have a friendly and knowledge team that work there. We loved hanging out at the bar and talking with Andy and getting tips on things to do in the Short North. In fact, we liked it so much we went back there the next night and had another great experience. I almost forgot to mention that they also have appetizers available which included a nice charcuterie board. If youre in Columbus make sure to stop by Wine on High!!

Great atmosphere and selection, a nice quiet spot for a drink with friends. A little pricey a la carte but the monthly wine tasting events are a good deal and a great chance to discover a new favorite bottle.Went to the tasting last night and the bartender was very knowledgeable about the wines but not at all pretentious. There was a nice size crowd but she was able to keep everyone happy while taking the time to describe each wine in detail. I will be back.

We hosted a private party in the loft at Wine on High and had a wonderful time! They were so easy to work with and wanted us to have the best experience possible. All of our guests ordered from the Hubbard Grille menu and thought the food was delicious. Our server for the event could not have been nicer and took great care of us! We will definitely host another event there!

Walked in today with a friend looking for a specific brand. When we asked, the man at the bar was very accommodating and helped us find a suitable replacement when he found they didnt have the brand I was looking for. He gave us samples and was very knowledgeable. Im just upset I didnt catch his name so I could give him a shout-out! Very happy with my purchase and will return soon! (Sorry the picture is low res. We rented out the venue for an intimate social hour with over 60 attendees. The venue was the perfect choice. The ambience was beyond elegant, the service was top notch from both the event coordinator and the bartenders. Additionally, the food catered by Hubbard was amazing. We really enjoyed Wine on High and intend to utilize the venue for upcoming initiatives. Thank you for being so amazing!

We hosted our employee holiday party in the loft area at Wine on High. It was the perfect space for the size of our group, and the ambiance was fantastic. From the booking to the food to the service, the whole team was responsive and a please to work with! I certainly would highly recommend the space for small groups and will definitely be back again!

We held a small work meeting at Wine on High and it was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and always had the wine ready :-) The food was great - we only had small appetizers but it was perfect for the purpose of our meeting. Additionally, booking the room to hold our meeting was very easy and was all ready for once we got there. I definitely recommend this place for just a nice glass of wine or a small meeting! We will be back!

Theyve got a decent happy hour. And great selection of wine. You can even buy some bottles for under $20. Its an okay atmosphere. The food is more appetizers, so if youre looking for a full-blown meal, I would go to Hubbard Grill (I think its next door and the person that owns this place owns that restaurant as well). Nice staff.

Ive been frequenting Wine on High since it was Vino 100 and wish we still lived in the neighborhood, so we could stop in more often! Many birthdays have been celebrated here and it was my first choice on a location for my birthday party just last weekend (my first in Ohio after a 3.5 year stint in Florida)! All of my guests had a fun time and no glasses were ever empty. Meghan and Carrissa are excellent at what they do!Wine on High is also a great spot to stop in and pick up everyday wines or bubbly for a special occasion! I give Wine on High 10 out of 5 stars!!!

When a friend wanted to go to a restaurant with a great wine list, rather than the usual suspects of restaurants in the Short North, we decided to try The Loft at Wine of High. Small plates were fantastic, as we enjoyed a flight of reds and whites selected by our server, based on our preferences. That server? Gorgeous! And probably the reason this small place was packed with women (and a few gay men) on a Saturday night! More than once there were no available tables or seats. If you want to try something a little different in a friendly atmosphere, try out the Loft (By the way, you can always buy downstairs and drink it upstairs for a small corkage fee!)

I have nothing but fantastic things to say about Wine On High! I have had several different private parties in the upstairs loft. It is a perfect intimate environment for a gathering. Both times I had around 30 people. I was able to pre-pick a yummy appetizer buffet, my favorite wines, and specialty cocktails. The staff was very accommodating, polite, and quick to fill a drink. We felt as if it was our own private downtown loft. We could bring in our own decorations, music, and really customize the space. On a side note, they allowed for people to purchase their own drinks and add flat breads or cheese boards. That is a very nice option. I would highly recommend anyone hosting an event here.I have also simply met a friend for a glass of wine, and have been just as comfortable. Great wine selection, smart staff, and nicely priced.Make sure you put this on your downtown must-do list.

The 20 for $20 is no joke. It is very fun though! Nice mix of reds and whites, just eat before you decide to taste 20 wines, the samples are quite large

Our server / bartender was unhappy and unhelpful. Did not make us feel welcome. The wine selection and pours were very good, as was the charcuterie. The cheese board was super small for the price. No reason to go back.

Person working didnt pour my flight which was fine, but they also lied about two winesIts more of a management problem. They need to be sure to train their staff on basic pronunciation and basic facts about major grape varieties. Just told bold lies about their wines. Not willing to buy from a place thats place not knowledgeable of their productProbably not going back

Unpleasant experience. Went with a few friends for drinks. Friend went to the restroom while we ordered. A while after, I went up to ask where the restroom was. The staff woman quickly replied that the restroom was only for patrons. Couldnt believe I had to tell her I had already been there for 20 minutes. My friend did not receive the same response. Take a guess about the difference between us. Embarrassing and uncomfortable.

I called them on my way into town and they had the red and white bottles of a wine I like in stock. Since lm a self proclaimed mutt with no palate for wine, I only drink sweet wines. The server suggested a moscato dasti and after tasting it I ended up leaving with a case of wine. I was surprised the 10% discount wasnt offered for purchase of a case. Nice selection of wines and the staff is very knowledgeable about wines. Loved the ambiance but was unable to stay and sample the hourdouveres since parking is an issue.
