A good places to shop

Honestly used to love coming to this place. But the past few times felt like nothing but a nuisance to thd cashier. Shes been absolutely sour and unfriendly and deterrent enough to not come back.

Reviews last year say friendly staff. The only staff member as of 2 days ago is anything BUT friendly. Can’t comment on selection; her unwelcoming demeanor forced us out of the store asap. Even the mask couldn’t hide how ugly her attitude was. I made an effort due to being masked to show I am smiling and adjusted the tone of my voice to sound cheerful and pleasant was answered with some grumpy mumbling. So we left.

Nice quiet store with unique options! Would be good in a pinch for a gift as they have gift bags too.

My girlfriend and I showed up to an empty store with a grumpy cashier. She didnt greet us when we entered, but stared at us like we were bringing a hefty supply of COVID for the neighborhood, even though we both masked up before entering. Didnt say a word to us, so we got sick of feeling her eyes burning a hole through the backs of our heads, so we left and told her to have a nice day. She responded with, k..Happy Memorial Day!

I love going here because they have a great selection of local beers. The employees are also super nice and friendly too.They also follow good covid guidelines.

Picked up some brews from a nice neighborhood beer & wine shop...

Said open but the door was locked...so I knocked and then this woman comes and opens the door and says the sign says be right back which she pulled off the door....located 2 feet above the ground...as if I would ever see that. And then she was just rude the whole time. Also minimal wine selection..and she was listening to liberal radio news (Im super left but like you dont play that in a store over the speakers.....)

I’ve come here for over a year now and I usually get wine or a nice high alc content IPA. I’ll admit the service is unwelcoming when I’m asked to show my ID even though I’ve been a regular, it’s never really a hassle for me yet it still feels weird. And there’s this one woman there who’s helpful but never smiles, Or acts friendly, and as someone who’s been in customer service for almost 10 yrs a friendly demeanor goes a long way with small interactions in that type of setting. Then again, it’s possible that staff deal with weirdos and drunks so close to downtown and that can wear on your attitude over time.I don’t know how staff are trained, but there’s room for improvement. Maybe I’m thinking too much but some people are too serious LUL. Other than that the selections here are unique and I wouldn’t have been able to survive a pandemic w/o this spot.

When I moved to OTE I was worried I wouldnt have a good place to buy wine but I had no idea this little gem was located so close to me! This place is great its small but for the size it has a great selection! Whomever is buying the wine here has a done a great job of trying to find unique and great tasting wines at a great price. Ive yet to repeat a single wine and I purchase here multiple times a week. The staff is friendly and their wine tastings are very enjoyable. Highly recommend this place!

Great craft beer selection. Also stocks mead. Very great local store to support. Prices are a bit modest but worth the quality beverages if you are a craft beer enthusiast!

Not very friendly service. The package on the six-pack I grabbed was defective, so a can fell on ground when I picked it up. I told the person running the register that I was going to grab a different one, and they stopped me saying that I should instead transfer the cans myself into a clip-top carrier. I explained that I didnt want the one that fell on the ground (unsanitary and could explode when I open it). The person at the register told me they would have to throw away the six-pack if I grabbed a different one, basically guilting me into the purchase. I decided to buy it anyways because I like to support small businesses, but I dont know if they deserve the support anymore.

Expect the unexpected here. Great selection, good prices, and the nicest staff around. So lucky to have it in walking distance. Theresa is awesome, she will special order items for you if they dont have what you are looking for. Wish I could give them 10 stars!

Nice bottle shop located conveniently in Columbus, we stopped by and grabbed a few local brews. We came looking for Jackie Os exclusively and were pleased with the selection. There are also a large selection of wines and fresh cold beer, my only gripe is some of the beers I was intersted in were way out of their best buy date. Overall a nice cozy spot, I will definitely go back.

Front desk personnel acted in a very unwelcoming way to me. I felt very uncomfortable throughout my time selecting and buying a bottle of wine. I kept thinking all day why she was suspicious of all my moves from asking me in an unfriendly way ‘ what do you want?’ to scrutinizing my driver’s license maybe to see if I forged it to rejecting my wife’s card (at least I understood the reason for rejecting the card - cos it didn’t have my name on it). My uncle appreciated the wine gift but my day was ruined because I didn’t know why she acted that way to me. Not going back there!!!

Exactly what you want out of a beer and wine store. Excellent selection of local beers, and their supply is always changing so theres always something new to try. Ive always had a great experience with the staff and found them to be friendly, and also knowledgeable about their stock. Its definitely one of my favorite businesses in Olde Towne East.

My new favorite beer-dega! They have a very wide selection of local, regional, and national craft brews. Plus wines, cocktail ingredients, and bitters (including the entire collection of Fee Brothers offerings). Parking may be tight at times.

A little difficult to get to with all the roadwork but was glad to find them open on Sunday. I came in for some brews that arent distributed in my area and was happy to find a nice variety but not the quantity of what I wanted. Sales clerk was very helpful with assisting with my order and pricing was fine. I look forward to going back if Im in the area again.

Good place to pick up special releases or main stay beers as well as wine. Used to enjoy the larger selection of beers than whats available now.

Excellent shop. They have a great selection of hard to find beers, they offer weekly select local draft beer, and even have tastings and other cool events. And they even have wines and other stuff.

Best bottle shop in my neighborhood with the friendliest service!

Corner Stone is a pretty good little shop for a quick stop off for some craft beer or wine. The selection isnt as extensive as others in the city but it fills an area thats pretty dry of good craft beer bottle shops.

Young man that works in there is very sweet and helpfull..always help me pick a great choice.i am not there to often but i smile when i see him..he will even google alcohol content for you..

Great local beer and wine spot with an excellent selection and helpful staff! The prices are pretty standard, no crazy bargains but no exorbitant markups either. Location-wise, its walking distance from downtown or Olde Town East, and theres a parking lot caddycorner to it if street parking isnt available (which it almost never is).

This place is a little maddening. It is small, but for its size it has a HUGE and varried selection of beers, an almost as large choice of wines, and then a smattering of other things like ciders, meads, and diluted liquor. They also sell cigarettes, if youre in to that sort of thing, and a very, very small choice of snacks. At the back is a bar where they hold scheduled beer tastings. The location is good, in a safe part of an up and coming neighborhood, with various parking opportunities which are all free and all close. The staff is unfailingly helpful and friendly. The maddening part is they dont sell anything other than beer in Sundays, and some of the beer doesnt count as beer, for some reason. Im grateful theyre open at all on Sunday, to be honest, but as Im a wine drinker and not particularly a beer drinker I feel the need to pout a bit over it.

Excellent selection, walking distance for us in Olde town east. Always offering advise on the perfect brew to quench that thirst. Sometimes they can special order too!
