The guys I worked with, Dave and Travis, were extremely helpful in helping me pick out awesome gear for my trip to Europe. They did not try to oversell anything to me, the prices were very reasonable and they are experience riders who have great advice to give when it comes to selecting your riding gear. I would pay more just for the experience I had with them, their hospitality is unmatched.

I had an amazing experience where instead of upselling me a product I didnt need, the gentleman tested the product first on my bike seat and when there was little to no results, apologized but also told me I didnt need to buy it.Its that type of interaction that makes me come back to this store and buy more than I need next time.

Had a great experience here. We came in from out of state to ride throughout South Carolina. Stopped in to pick up some gear and The customer service was incredible. We had to visit the store twice due to an equipment malfunction (factory issue - not store issue) and the staff was extremely accommodating, checked the defective equipment, replaced it immediately and provided some local knowledge on where to ride this week. It’s very enjoyable to be able to talk to individual who actually ride and can answer questions about the equipment because they actually use it. 5 star all the way! Ive come to Cycle Gear a few times, and theyve all been positive experiences. However, today was quite possibly one of the best customer service experiences Ive ever had thanks to the icon that is Travis. This man was so ridiculously genuine and personal, that I almost have to just call it happiness rather than customer service. While working with me, three other customers came in (all of whom excitedly greeted him by name, and he responded with theirs), and he was able to bounce back and forth between questions with ease. Travis was very helpful. Ive been to this Cycle Gear many times and never had a bad experience. I recently went there to buy a chain but ended up getting one from someplace else because I decided to go with an OEM chain and I needed it right away. When I had to get a different connecting link for the new chain because I didnt have the tool for the link that came with the chain, Travis helped me identify exactly what I needed over the phone and set it aside for me to save me time when I got there. Hes a rider himself and hes very knowledgeable when it comes to motorcycles. I also bought a set of tires from these folks in the past and theyve been the best tires Ive ever had. Ill be going back there when I need new ones.Update: Went there today to get some tools and am happy to report that the service is still stellar!

Man oh Man Travis is the bomb! So, I start my Harley Davidson training this weekend and I felt as though they are missing a coach! He is knowledgeable about motorcycles and he assisted me in getting all I needed for body protection and vital protection tools for my Harley. I suggest to all my friends that if youre interested in quality bikers gear & supplies, drop in on Travis and TT, you wont be disappointed!

Sales team was nice. No pressure. Took my tires in to get new ones put on. Took less than an hour to walk out with fresh rubber. You can find better prices online for most of the stuff but not a bad spot if in a rush.

Great customer service. Didnt realize they were about to close when we showed up. They kept the store open and answered all our questions. Let my wife and i try on jackets and helmets until we found ones we liked. Stopped in just to get her a new helmet. Ended up leaving with a new jacket, gloves and an order for a new helmet.

I frequent this place for my riding gear needs abs to help others pick out gear. Because im a MSF RiderCoach I probably come here do to helping others versus most folks but the staff is super nice and they always seem to recognize me. Id youre looking for a top quality helmet look no further!

Customer service was great and I had fun talking to the employees. Prices and selection are good. This may sound weird but I would not take your bike in this area. The roads set you up in some unsafe situations and its the holy motherland of potholes and uneven roads. Go visit and try to resist spending too much on all the goodness!

One of the larger stores so nice seeing more selection. Staff were helpful and friendly. Unfortunately not allot of stuff unless youre a cruiser or sport bike kind of person. I wish they would offer more options for the ADV crowd.
