I really loved ❤the vibe in this place! The lady greeted me with a smile 😁and was very helpful since this was my first time here. She suggested the cranberry scone and it was so delicious 😋 I had to go back and get one for my husband. They do custom coffee pour overs for your coffee something Starbucks wont do. Much better than Starbucks! Support your small buisness owner and come here you wont be disappointed!!!

I love Drip. Go there a few time a week. Be prepared to take it slow and relax a bit while you wait for your amazing cup of pour over to brew. Their iced lattes are also perfect for a warm summer afternoon. Before you leave dont forget to pickup some fresh roasted beans to take home. You cant go wrong with their house roast, but I would also recommend any of their African options if they are available when you are there.

Had some time to kill so I stopped in to grab a coffee. They grind and brew to order! Staff was amazing and the atmosphere as well. Next time Im in town, Ill definitely stop back in.

DRIP is my favorite coffee house in the city. Either location is fine but the one on Main works for me because of the wifi availability and outdoor seating. The coffee is always superb and the choices are plentiful with tasting tasting note descriptions to help guide your choice. if I get there early enough I can actually get one of those delicious chocolate chip cookies.Been going for several years but just realized I never rated them or provided a write up.Check it out if you get a chance.One location on Main St and the other in Five Points.

The coffee was ok. The service was terrible. I asked the person if she would blend my latte and she said no, I should order the coffee milkshake. If I wanted a milkshake I would have ordered that. If you don’t like it blended, don’t order it like that. But what’s the big deal?!

AMAZING coffee - I crave it. I work on Main street and I go here all the time, never been disappointed. I tried the egg and pickled tomato breakfast sandwich this morning. SO GOOD!! Love this place, people are nice, coffee is good, and food is unique and tasty.

Went here while waiting for my wife to come out of surgery. Super friendly people and their description of coffee flavors are spot on, plus the scone wasnt bad either. Would come back.

My sister and I stopped by Drip on Main for some morning coffee. We both ordered lattes with oatmilk. I had mine with honey vanilla. The flavors were house-made and delicious! The coffee was strong yet did not overwhelm the honey vanilla flavor. It was fantastic coffee! Highly recommended.

Have been enjoying this spot for years! A perfect iced latte & choc chip cookie snack stop. All employees are wonderful & this is a great place to send out of town visitors.

The staff is the most welcoming and helpful. Id come back just first their excellent customer service. For ordering, they give you a card with a famous musician on it. How fun! Its the little things.

Unimpressed - staff was friendly and attentive but the menu is very weak without much thought it attention to preparation to ensure flavors are maximized, textures as appealing and overall they are a pleasant delight. A tad more thought on execution could go a long way.

NUTELLA explosion, the Nutella French toast is soooo delicious, you gotta try it... Vegetarians opinion: Im not a fan of French toast because its so eggy (I know thats how its supposed to be) but this one I swear... Oh so good!Everyone loves this place for a reason.

Let’s be real. Great coffee in downtown Columbia can be hard to find for somebody visiting. THIS. IS. THE ONE. Spend the extra quarter and get a pour over coffee (it’ll take a few minutes but we’ll worth it. And they serve up neat sandwiches and unique scones such as the Blueberry Basil which I had two days in a row. I would share a photo, but let’s be real....it’s in my belly now.Green conscious too!! Two thumbs up for the biodegradable pasta straws!!!

This is an awesome coffee shop ! I was dragging on Monday and I stopped in and got a Latte, that got me through the rest of the day . The staff is super friendly and the food and beverages are great. I will pop in here whenever I am in Columbia, SC.

Love this place! They have lunch and breakfast menus with lots of great options on them and of course their coffee is awesome. Drips beans are all sourced from unique locations and always have interesting flavor profiles. They have a variety of drinks ranging from lattes to traditional pour-over coffee so theres something for everyone. Cool local vibe inside and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. A must-visit for coffee lovers!

What a nice little place! I was warmly greeted and seated right away. Coffee came in a flash, as did the friendly, efficient waitress. Traditional breakfast food (biscuit & gravy, eggs, hash browns, bacon) were yummy and just what I expected. Why go to a chain when you can hit the Old 56 Family Restaurant? Id come here again -- whenever Im in Olathe!

After making a Costco run the next thing on our agenda was to find a good coffee shop and I rather support a local business than go with Starbucks. So thats how we found Drip, its was such a cute little hipster coffee shop, downtown Columbia just minutes away from the breathtaking University of South Carolina.

Employees, food, and drinks are stellar. 4-star stellar, in fact!Seating is quickly occupied during the weekend brunch hours, during which is the only time I would probably visit.Good atmosphere though. Would recommend.

Wondeful customer service. Even being busy, the staff were courteous and friendly. When my friend wasnt satisfied with their grilled cheese, the staff instantly apologized and gave both a refund and a replacement meal. My wife even had an amazing conversation with one of the staff members! I would definitely come back and I recommend this place to anyone looking for a friendly and more intimate environment.

Quite an awesome local cafe. The ambiance is very relaxed and hip. Drip attracts a local crowd of students, professors, and free thinkers. I wish there was another similar location. Most of the food is absolutely delicious. The coffee is pretty decent. The place fills up fast and the seats are not so comfy. Im still a regular!

Ok so the customer service/staff is awesome I just did not enjoy the Ethiopian coffee or the breakfast sandwich at all. The sandwich had asparagus as an ingredient, which I love, but it required a jam or sweet relish to balance.

Favorite place to stop now, great coffee selection that they change frequently so you arent getting the same thing every day (unless you like your thing, in which case their house blends are delicious!) They list the undertones, which is extra helpful when trying something new and exotic. The staff is amazing and friendly, makes it one of the highlights of thetday.

Black people beware! I read the previous review regarding this, but decided to visit anyway. The service is horrible and the coffee isnt even mediocre at best. I decided to returned my $6 coffee because it tasted horrible. I normally dont return things, but the customer service or lack their of motivated my choice. The people making the coffee seemed very bothered and didnt want to answer my questions. (Ive never been here before and was given a hand written menu.) They stared as I walked in, and seemed agitated. The whole atmosphere was weird. I recommend going to the Starbucks next door. Its appears the minority training is really paying off for them.

I was in Columbia visiting the Art Museum and found myself walking down Main Street when I was done. I had a bit of a drive back to Sumter and felt like some coffee. I had walked past one of the bigger companies across the street and saw this sign that said DRIP. It was sort of a little tiny corner of one of the big buildings. Yes it was cramped for space and people had to stand a little bit closer to each other, BUT Ill tell you the staff there were friendly and make a great attempt to talk to you. Also, I got one of the best cups of cappuccino Ive had in a while. I would recommend them and will go again when Im in the area.

Drip is a great place to get a cup of pour-over coffee. They have all the staples that you would expect at any hip coffee shop. The patio they have out front on Main Street is a nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee and nice weather. They also have a limited but very tasty lunch menu. My favorite is the turkey and brie panini.

The downtown location is cool, the vibe tries too hard to be hipster-student cool. Had an iced coffee that was obviously hot brew over ice. I wish I had tried one of the farmer market stalls that were open that day.

Ive been meaning to write a review for quite some time now.I stop here every morning before work and sometimes during the day for a second cup. The atmosphere and staff are incredibly welcoming and despite how busy it gets in the morning, they always welcome clients by name and usually with a bright smile. And the coffee is great as well. lol
