Funny thing was my friend did not want to go in...thought she wouldnt find anything in there. I made her go in and she found nof one but TWO dresses that she loved and had to buy that were perfect!

Lots of selection. Fair prices. Friendly staff.Got 4 stars from me because since I chose not to have a JC Penny card or apply today I did not get 35% off additionally. That would have saved me $50+ dollars on my purchase.Unfortunately I do not think everyone needs a credit card to every store in which they shop.Otherwise it was a good experience.

Great clothing designs when someones looking for nice evening wear I refer them here only downside is if your a bigger person the beautiful options are limited to smaller body form. There are so many nice things available always something new to see around the corner. These items also tend to much higher priced then expected however most clothing featured has a nice quality and is organized well enough to pick things out quickly if in a rush for an event.

Not impressed, Im actually in the store right now. Been in here over 2 hours with my daughters picking out more than $500 worth of clothing, only to walk up to a dressing room and have the employee standing nearby tell me sorry our dressing room is closed today . Hmmm needless to say the pile of clothes are in front of the dressing room door. Have a great day, we will go elsewhere now .

JCPenney was a decent place to find good shopping for everyone in the family. They have one floor similarly laid out like Kohls. However their side entrances are closed and you have to use a main entrance at the mall

Always great deals to be found here. Store is clean and organized. Gerry offers great customer service always! The only thing I wish that was still available is the ability to use the fitting rooms. Can make buying clothes a bit difficult but the return process is super easy.

The JCPenney store in Columbiana mall was great well-stocked very clean

Well stocked store throughout. Clerks are busy stocking and dont even acknowledge your presence . You have to track one down to get assistance.

The JcPenney in Harbison only has one area with registers and only two registers work. Inconsiderate and inconvenient to customers. The line to checkout is long, the wait is long. Management...do better!

Waited forty minutes for associate to unlock jewelry case, even after asking to see a watch. The department was empty at the time.

I love the curbside pick up service. It is speedy, efficient and the associate was nice.

There was team work. The employee made an effort used to solve a problem trying to do something about the situation. There was communication, delegation, efficiency and support. Customer Services worked to collaborate as a team to achieve and complete a task in the most effective and efficient way. They had great sales by being proactive. Having to understand a client business. Most common example of sale promotion was coupons or discount. I received assistant through that process which made my shopping experience great.

Always has great deals going on & great selection. 4 star rating instead of 5 because every time I go in there, only 1 register area is open, which is in the mens department, so the checkout line gets rather long at times.

I waited for over 20 min. For a curbside pick up. Ended going into the store. All doors had arrow signs indicating to use the next door and I ended going around the whole building. They need to have better signs in the parking lot informing the public where to go.

JC Penny is awesome i love the sales they have and it seems like they are always having a sale which is amazing. Back to school shopping is much easier here. They have great products i love the arizona jeans for my husband and my son. They are durable classic looking jeans at a affordable price and i couldnt ask for more. I definitely leave this store feeling like i got my moneys worth. Other times when i leave a store i feel like i just got taken for a ride, hypnotized by pretty things lol and feel awful for spending to much money. But not at JC penny no matter how much i spend he $20, $150,$450 i leave feeling empowered like i just got the best deals and product that are going to far outlast what i spent to get them. Keep it up yall

I was in the photo department today, and I must say that I was treated with such goodness.... Patti was helping them out today all the way from Greenville. If everyone at JC Pennys is as nice as her I will return.Awesome experience

The employees are really nice and they are very willing to help you. I just don’t like their online pick up system. They have a designated place in the store but no one is ever there, so you have to go to another part of the store. Then the associate has to walk back to the pickup area to retrieve your items (while you are waiting in line). It takes much longer than it should.

Disappointing. This location has an entrance on to a parking lot and another entrance a 10-minute walk into the mall. Due to Covid, the parking lot entrance is closed, effectively ending my intended trip into JCPenney.

I dont understand when the line gets long why they dont call for another cashier.

Horrible customer service !!!! jewelry counter lady there does not know anything she told me to come back every time so I ask for manager Mr. Bruce and he also doesn’t know how to print A receipt for service on Jewelry and nobody ever answers the phone every time I call .every time I’ve been there I have to spend more than an hour because they don’t know anything.🤯

This rating is strictly for the childrens clothing and juniors clothing departments. I dont feel like they have anything that I havent seen in there many times. I am deeply disappointed in childrens/teens wear these days at all stores as very little is suitable for adhering to school dress codes. The shorts are too short and the shirts are cut too low or cropped off. It makes it very difficult for parents to shop and I refuse to send my young girls out looking like street walkers.

I have two that say jcpenney but I was in the mall and had lunch before my hair appointment and I was very satisfied with all the precautions of the food court and jcpenney and the overall mall. And I was skeptical about going in but everything in the mall was very professional and cautious and were doing a great job on covid-19 precautions.

I met with Ron and the meeting was very informative.

Only have one checkout counter open is the opposite of social distancing. Extreme stupidity at work here. And there’s tons of employees just standing around doing nothing.

I really like Penneys. I saw some really pretty bedding while there today. However, I went in to pick up an online order. It was ready within a couple hours. I am pleased with the quality and price paid. I had to wait a minute in line but thats ok. The gentleman who helped me was very pleasant and my transaction was quick. I plan to visit the store and website again.

I have tried to get In contact with the store for over an hour on two occasions. I understand COVID and all of the changes that must be made, but this is bad business practices to not have a clear cut line of communication. An email that I received about the product pick up and what I am being verbally told, don’t coincide.I have been trying to get an over $70 refund for several days. JCP.com says that Harbison has to refund my money, yet had no problem drafting it out of my account within minutes. This is certainly not the JCPenney that I am accustomed to.JNorton

I just ran in to pick up an online purchase. The store was clean and had a nice presentation of merchandise. The Associates were friendly and attentive. I wouldve rated 5 stars if there was any outside signage or online indications of which doors to use or parking lot is closest to their pickup area. I just knew that it was in the Home section. However, never having been in that store before, that wasnt very helpful.

Everyone in the store was so friendly and I had no issues to finding a new suit for my new job I got. I was so impressed by how the staff treated me and the managers were out on the floor helping customers too! 5 stars!!!!!!

One of the better JCPennys Ive been to in terms of navigating around the store and helpful staff. Not a big selection though, especially in the mens suits it was pretty bare. And a lot (I mean a lot) of things were on the clearance rack with no clearance tag. And as always every single employee in there will ask you about signing up for the credit card. But theyre nice about it.

Zero help. Like walking into Wal-Mart and needing help. No employees care!!!

I don’t go to JCPenney as often as I would like to but they are a good place to find affordable clothing and housewares. We take photos there at least once a year and to me- the photo department is this stores crowning jewel. If you need home decor- curtains, linens, pillows, towels...look no further. This store really does have something for everyone.

Love this store. If you have a job that requires business casual or professional attire this is the spot to shop. They always have good sales, and huge selections. I wear plus size, and a lot of stores have a really limited selection for that - but theres quite a bit of womens plus size here. I can always find something cute here for a good price. The clothing from here doesnt fall apart after 1 wash like cheaper stores.

Don’t go to this location if you are planning on using curbside pickup due to COVID. They do not answer which makes you come in the store which defeats the purpose of curbside pickup and social distancing.

They had some good Christmas items, mostly on sale, some items were to pricey for my liking...we did find a good bit of Disney Items for our GRANDS...the staff was nice, store in disarray, but I looked at it, it was Christmas rush to get their last minute shopping done...May you find what you are looking for here: The SmithClan

The young woman in the earring sect. was swamped. The other jewelry sects. had no customers. The man and woman in watches just stood around and watched. I waited 20min. and was never waited on. I left.

JCPenney is always so dirty. Clothes were all over the floor, had to dig through a pile of unfolded clothes to find my size. Areas of the store are dark and depressing, employees stand around and chat instead of fixing the issues.The whole place just smells like impending bankruptcy.

Ok, they get five stars because the deals were legit today! I saved almost $200 in discounts and coupons and spent less than $100. Freaking awesome. But OMG, that place was trashed! Clothes all over the floor in every department. Looked like hordes of vandals went through there just tossing merchandise left and right. No one was even attempting to clean up the mess in mens wear, kids clothes or house wares. I finally found two dedicated workers picking up and folding as fast as they could in the plus size womens section. They need some new management and MANY MANY MORE EMPLOYEES
