The lounge is roomy and clean with plenty of ventilation. The pipes made there are reasonably priced and the staff is not pushy.

Pete, Brad and Sam and the crew are great. Columbia is lucky to have a great crew of crafters located here. The lounge caters to pipers and cigar fans and they are very welcoming. They are the only place in town with the Banquet on tap. A great place to smoke a pipe and watch the game or visit with pals. Great Selection of gear.

Just moved to town and trying out shops. Very knowledgeable folks which is always nice ( I went to another local shop where a young lady sold me a few Maduro Ashtons I was not familiar with but she said were full bodied only to find they were mild once I got home and sat down to smoke, very annoying). Back to Briarworks,I got a My Father on the recommendation of the gentleman behind the counter who said it was medium but finished closer to full and he was spot on. Good selection, seven days a week, they open at 10 am which is great for us morning guys, this is going to be my go to spot.

A nice chill spot with great beers, cigars n furniture. I like how knowledgeable they were about the cigars and I forgot the guys name but he gave some great suggestions on cigars. (Maybe his name was Brian or Greg 🥴 idk guy with gray hair) he seemed like an OG, it’s a nice spot that’s spacious

Fun place to sit and have a cigar and a beer. Their walk-in humidor has mostly boutique brands Id never heard of, but I pulled out an excellent Arturo Fuente that I smoked while sitting at a table and writing. Around the corner of the large lounge, there were sofas and bar-seating. A dart board on one wall kept several people occupied.The cigar bar is actually only part of the business. During the day, part of the building is apparently devoted to making pipes - hence the name - and several examples of the craft are on the wall near the cashier.Im amazed that Columbia has a place like this, and while I will definitely be back, Im afraid that it is a sign of things to come -- authentic Maury County moving toward the trendiness of Williamson County.

Just moved to the area and needed somewhere to smoke my stogies, drink some good beer, enjoy some decent conversation, and throw some darts. Brarworks checked all these boxes and more. Brad and Sam were extremely welcoming, and my first visit on a Friday evening was fantastic. This is an awesome place and will become a local haunt for me from now on.

Its a smoking bar that serves beer. Also, you can BYO. Most people in here are smoking pipes and cigars so it can get smoky of the doors are closed. Large projector screen for sports and a TV over the bar.Nice humidor selection for cigars and several pipe tobacco selections are available.Nice quality House-made pipes can be purchased.Had a fun and boisterous crowd for the Titans game.

Poor cigar selection, rude staff and patrons. I went there once on Halloween, and I will not be returning. I will take my business to another cigar lounge. One locally owned, and veteran operated.

Have purchased 5 pipes from these guys as well as having dropped in randomly before they had the store in Columbia. The pipes are top quality and smoke like champions.They were really accommodating when I popped in and they even showed me around the factory. Pete was even kind enough to throw in a free poster and some tobacco for me!

Very cool shop, the guy working the counter was kind enough to show us around. The pipe I bought is of great quality you can tell it was carefully crafted, as well, the tobacco there is very high quality. Would highly recommend stopping by!

My new favorite place to chill with my dudes. Sam was working and he was super cool to talk to. His help picking out a great tobacco was spot on and Im looking forward to dropping by again.I thought there was a great selection of cigars too. But dont go looking for your run of the mill stogie shop supply. Almost every stick in the humidor is a gem—without gem prices.Its just a great spot to hang. Check it out!

Great cigars and a chill vibe are what you can find at BriarWorks. They are very knowledgable about the cigars they carry, and very helpful when it came to finding a cigar for me. They also serve beer. Dont forget to ask about the handmade pipes created in house. Go check them out the next time your downtown.

Briar works offers pipes, tobacco, cigars and has a nice beer selection available to consume in their smoking lounge. The couches and chairs are very comfortable and it’s a nice place to relax while smoking a cigar.

I was in Columbia on business and stopped by here to see what they had in the humidor. Selected a couple of Illusione Rothchildes Connecticut; one to smoke there and one to smoke later. Not long after I lit it, I could see there was a problem. The wrapper started splitting in two places - one on each end. I was able to continue until it got down to about the last third, and it started to taste bitter, unlike the first couple I had at a different lounge in Franklin. I finally gave up on it and left. There was no one at the counter for me to notify. In looking at the other one, it looks like it might have the same problem. It could just be a bad batch, or it could have been a box of seconds.
