This place is a freaking joke! My son buys a $200 Samsung S10 that he CANT EVEN USE! Apparently the person who owned it before did not pay the phone off and the phone is locked! SO how the hell can this store sell it??? What is really going on? So he had the receipt and they can ONLY GIVE STORE CREDIT!? ABSOLUTE JOKE! SOOOOO DEFINITELY DONT RECOMMEND BUYING ANYTHING ELECTRONIC! God Bless each of you.

Great staff, fair prices, an extensive selection of games and other things, and the trade in value is much higher than that of other places.

Walked out with a classic NES t-shirt, poster of the evolution of gaming, and a PS4 game.. all for under $50. They have a LOT! Definitely worth popping in, but be prepared to open your wallet.. theres something for everyone.

I take my teenage son in here quite a bit to purchase game related items, and we almost always find what we are looking for.

Its a really great place to get movies, tv-show themed energy drinks, comics, card games, figurines, and t-shirts. They also sell games for almost every console (even old ones) and sell the consoles themselves. The people are very friendly and welcoming.

Love going in this place whenever Im in Columbia TN. Always spend to much money, but its hard not to.

Great local store. The real treasure is the large selection of retro games. You can find controllers, memory cards, and games for nearly any old school gaming system, and all at very good prices. They also offer more trade-in value than youd expect, so you get a lot of value for the goods you trade in.The environment is also very good. Clean, tidy, and they have some older game consoles up and running so you can play some games. Very upbeat and inviting. Definitely recommend this place!

They have a whole bunch of DVDs for a dollar and the cases and the DVDs look great for a dollar

Its no longer about buying and trading games and movies. Now its got more merch than anything else and the back half of the establishment is for game nights. (I dont really know how else to describe those types of games.) My latest visit was with my husband. We were trading in a stack of movies and the guy behind the counter tried to sell our stuff before we even agreed to trading it in.

Better in every conceivable way than game stop, especially when it comes to price, selection, and customer service.

There return policy is a joke not even 24 hrs with receipt no one even told me no money back just store credit only will never buy from there again

I took a wii and games back that I bought from them for $220 and they only gave me $20 they are ripping people off by selling stuff for $160 and when you take it back they buy it back for $16 and not only that the first time I went they sold me a broken device that wouldnt even play games

Clean and organized store. TONS of games -- if you are looking for something specific they will most likely have it. Friendly and knowledgeable staff; they had several people working so they were available for questions and help. Prices are competitive to under market value, at least from what I looked at. They also have a great return policy (30-90 days), although I havent had to return anything yet.

The employees had a rough start, but it is a nice store now. There is a good chance you can find that retro game you have been hunting. Also, since they expanded the store they have added lots of comics and statues. The store has a good selection DVDs to browse if you looking for something special. Its a great store if youre looking for a specific item. My only issue is... sometimes they are a lil bit overpriced, but if you find what you wanted then its worth the stop.

Ill take Game X Change over GameStop any day.

I just moved to Columbia a year ago. This place has everything a gamer needs! Also has D&D accessories and anime stuff. Definitely recommend anyone who is a fan of animes or enjoy games to stop by.

The staff member who helped me was very knowledgeable about the retro gaming supplies I had gone after. He answered all my questions about the hardware I was interested in (specifically whether or not the new systems created to play the older games worked well, and about tv compatibility ).Game selection was pretty decent, with many of the games I was looking for in stock.Will definitely visit again.

Okay i bought 3 DVDs and one game. The DVDs were fine they worked and were all in there. But i bought a game and it wasnt even in there. I know common sense was to check it myself, but didnt even come to mind. Most times the person checking you out at the counter will check if its in there. Bought it with my credit card and the woman forgot to put my receipt in the bag. Not noticing til the next day when i go to play it. So no receipt no game and no way to complain about it.I know its mostly my fault, but i think with that being said they should start checking if the discs are in there before you buy them.

Great place, friendly staff, and pretty decent selection of games. Prices vary depending on the console but are usually better than most competitors. I love searching thru old console games and finding the proverbial diamond in the rough.

Nothing bad to say, just a better gamestop. The prices can be a little high on stuff like remotes and consoles and the new hot stuff. But all of the older used things are a lot better. Plus your 50+ games you bring in will get you more than $2.89 unlike other places *coughs* gamestop

I would give it one star if I could but my boyfriend buys games here every once in a while. They charge out the butt for movies and games but then when you bring in anything its like they wanna pay you .25 for a brand new video game. Their prices are sky high and they dont offer much for bringing in your games or movies. We would be happier customers if they lowered their prices and raised their pay for bringing things in.

They owed me money for a controller I bought and returned. I never got my money back for it, then the guy quit and when I tried to explain it to the next Clerk, they said I cant give you your money back. On another occasion, my wife and I were shopping for movies, we bought Robocop (the original) and a couple Schwarzenegger movies. When we got home we realized that two out of the 3 movies were the wrong versions. We went back and they said they sold the correct versions. Needless to say. I wont be back and I dont recommend anyone go there.Id rather see them go out of business, and just shop Amazon.

If I could give no stars I would.I used to work here. I worked my ass off here. Yet they screen their calls and it takes calling 5 times to get an answer. They claim they answered the phone each time yet, why did it ring and ring and go to voicemail? Because Im still saved on their caller ID. And because the manager Destany Parrish is a hateful person. She may smile and be nice to you while you make a purchase, but as soon as you walk away shes making fun of you or complaining about you. Even if you were a pleasant customer. Ive seen it first hand. Sorry not sorry for quitting because you didnt pay me right or have a bathroom in store and that actually eventually put me in the hospital.Lets not forget to mention its pretty immature to ignore a call from a customer. I had every intention on purchasing a movie there today but I will NEVER step foot in this place again and will urge others not to as well.This is a shady place to shop 100%.11/10 do not reccomend.

It has honestly gone downhill in the last two years. Staff is so unorganized and dont know what they are talking about. They have game cases on shelves but dont have the game in the store. This has happened to me twice. I used to love this place now I cant even stand walking past it.

Dont waste your time.Went in to trade some movies today and there was a tiny little ant on one of the dvds... the guys freaked out and said it was a cockroach and refused my DVDs all of them.I mean it was clearly a little black Ant. You have to be really stupid to not reckanize an ANT.The guy was so rude about it and said everything was contaminated. SMH well the ant fell on the floor so the whole store is contaminated now 😂😂😂 seriously the i will never shop here again.Your better off selling your stuff on facebook or craigslist

Rude staff and very disrespectful. Poor customer service, and most staffdont even acknowledge your in the store. Game X Change policy States they do not give any refunds even if they sale you broken products and even if the store staff states you can get a refund in 90 days of purchase. They will hold your money and only offer a Hitler gift card.

I went there the other day and bought a GameCube. The staff was nice enough and the price was decent ($30) but they gave me an N64 AC adapter rather than a gamecube one which was kind of annoying considering I live 40 minutes away. I ended up having to pay 11 bucks for one on Amazon so MAKE SURE if you shop here check to see if you got the right accesories with your purchase.
