My old iPhone died. I called Tommy Price at Cellular Sales in Columbia. He is a true professional who helped me select a new iPhone best suited for my needs and then took extra time to ensure my company & I had the most efficient Version plan. Tommy knows I am not technically adept on mobile phone matters. He was very patient and took plenty of time to make sure all my contacts, apps, etc. were transferred from the old phone to the new one. His timeliness and expertise were most appreciated and made the process of changing phones seamless.

This center was the BEST that Ive been to, the other centers make you wait for no reason. Ms. Green is the best. Answered all my questions, very polite

In my experience this location has stellar customer service. Keep up the great work guys. I go out of my way to visit the Forest Dr location. Yes, the one where the bus stop is, Sonic is nearby, Wendys across the street, Wal-Mart, etc!

These people are not honest. They charge you an upgrade fee ON TOP of the upgrade fee Verizon charges you. PLUS they charged me a $30 “set up fee” that they didn’t disclose until after the fact - which was for them to transfer my old phone data to my new one which you can do 100% on your own from home by simply following the prompts the phone gives you. They were so shady. I would go an authentic Verizon retail sales place NOT a franchise which is independently owned and charges extra

I had the Worst experience at this store on today! I went in to get help with my phone because I was sent a replacement phone through my insurance with Verizon. When I got there a Salesman by the name of Mark Davis approached me and said that it would be a $20 charge to transfer the information from one phone to the other and $20 for a SIM card. I explain to him that I never had to pay a transfer fee and he insisted that I did in the past without looking at my account!So he told me that he would transfer my information and if it took more than 30 minutes I would have to pay the $20. I didnt have a problem paying for a SIM card but I did question him about the transfer fee. After going back and forth with him for a few minutes, I decided that I would not do business at this location! He then explained to the other salesperson that I wanted the transfer fee to be FREE which was not the case!!!!! I have been a Verizon Wireless customer for over 15 years and I have Never experienced anything like this and will Never go back to the store!!! Its sad when you pay your money and customer service sucks! After leaving the store I called the Bush River store will they told me that the information that Mr. Davis gave me was Absolutely wrong! That store really Need to do better and know the proper procedures! From now on I will go to the Bush River store where I know I will get the correct information and great customer service!

Brandy Koontz was by far the best customer service representative. She was very helpful, kind and understanding. She helped us with our phones as well as accessories. She took her time with us and made sure we were happy. In the future, we will request her for all our wireless needs. Thank you again Brandy! You were the best!

Out of all of my experiences at Columbia Verizon stores I will drive to the 5401 Forest Drive store just to get Joey Dixon to help me. He has always been honest with me about my phone and has never tried to sell me something I didnt need. His integrity and knowledge are his strong points. Im always afraid tho that when I go in, I will be told he is no longer working there because he has been promoted up the ladder. He is just that good. Where do I even start about my experience with have Michele as my go to Verizon girl. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable on everything from new devices to phone plans and payments. Very poor experience! I purchased 4 new iphones for the family under the deal that there was a buy one, get one free promotion AND a $100 per line gift card program for switching from Sprint. After a call with Verizon directly, I was told that those programs to not exist or apply to my situation. I called the Cellular Sales store and they admitted that it was a mistake and they would take care of the situation through their corporate office. After 60 days of runaround, I was told that there is nothing they are willing to do, because I did not have proper documentation of the problem - even though the store fully backed my story. I truly feel like I was lied to and tricked and now I am stuck in a 2yr contract, with about significantly more cost than was agreed. BUYER BEWARE! This is not a company that I will ever choose to deal with again, and I caution anyone to be very careful!!!

I want to compliment one of the sales representatives at the Verizon dealership at 5401 Forest Dr. in Columbia, SC - - Mr. Joseph Dixon. Im a 70 year old grandmother who cant find my way around modern technology, so I was EXTREMELY grateful to find a Verizon representative who could translate senior-speak into a vocabulary that he could understand! Mr. Dixon was patient with my vague questions, treated me as if I knew exactly what I was talking about (sometimes I didnt), taught me how to use features on my new phone that I didnt even suspect were there, transferred data from my old phone to the new one before I even realized he was doing this, and informed me of how I could sell my old phone (never knew I could do this so it hadnt occurred to me to ask!) so he saved me quite a lot of money! To say that it was a pleasure to do business with him is an understatement! He saved me time & money & made my purchase of a new phone (which I was dreading!) so easy! Mr. Dixon and this particular Verizon dealership are both worth seeking out in the future!

Joey Dixon was hands down the best Verizon rep I have dealt with in a long time. Sure as God wears sandals this guy has integrity and knowledge to spare. He helped me find the right device for me, and I couldnt be happier with my new LG G7. I will be recommending all my friends to this store and this rep in particular, because I heard a few of the older representatives talking and this guy runs circles around those fools.

Find a different location !!! Walk in.. one customer being helped. Three waiting. I just needed a new case for my IPhone 7+. Luckily it didn’t take long to pick one out. Because they only had ONE option. A $60 Black Otterbox. No life proof. No color options. Unless of course I was casing a overpriced iPhone X !! Sales guy was unfriendly and looked bored with having to check out my purchase. Next time I’ll take the trip to a further location.

Kirbee serviced me as a professional salesman and provided excellent customer service. Without wasting my time he was able to provide me training for my phone and get me the charger I needed. I strongly recommend Kirbee at this location for convenience, service and attention to detail all with a smile and as a professional.

I went in to purchase a new phone and the woman Michele who assisted me was terrific. She was very knowledgeable about the different devices and helped me pick the one that is best for me. I was so pleased with her service that I had my husband upgrade his phone with her as well.

Shout out to Rich Taylor. My wife and I came in today and had to switch around 3 different lines, replace screen covers, and transfer info on each phone. Rich spent almost 2 hours patiently helping us. If you have a choice when you go in, I recommend asking for Rick.

Where do I start... I have been going here for the past few years for all my Verizon needs. After having the great service that Joseph Dixon provided I refuse to go anywhere else. I have also recommended all my friends, coworkers and people Ive met along the way to go to Joseph for all their Verizon needs and no one has felt any other way.

Customer service is not dead. Kenneth Baxter assisted me today with finding lower options for my personal phone lines as well as my business lines. The savings he provided enabled me to add a much needed tablet and still have a monthly bill cheaper than what I have been previously assessed. Buy Beware !!!!!!Do not buy anything from this store. The sales people are not honest. I upgraded my phone her to a new one and I was told by the sales representative that if I did not like the phone that I could return it no questions asked and that he would waive the restocking fee. Well, two days later I decided that I didnt like the phone. I tried to return it but I was told that I had to pay a restocking fee. The new salesman said I had to pay a 70 dollar restocking fee and when I finally said fine Ill do that because Im so fed up with your store he said that I still couldnt return the phone until my original sales person came back to work. Im so disappointed right now.
