My son has been involved with the Baseball Factory program since he was 14 years old when he was first evaluated at one of their local one day camps. The following year, he was videotaped by the Baseball Factory and was set up with his own personalized web site link to send to college coaches that included baseball and academic statistics. Finally, during his Junior year he was chosen to play on one of their national teams in AZ at the Junior Fall Classic. During this entire time period, my son was given terrific instruction by the staff at the Baseball Factory in order to help him achieve his ultimate goal of playing Division One baseball. The staff was also tremendously helpful to me in answering my many questions on how to navigate the sometime daunting college baseball recruiting process. I want to especially thank Patrick Wuebben who was our baseball contact and Dan Mooney who was the lead person for the academic and admissions portion of the process.Last week my son gave a verbal commitment to an outstanding D1 program that we think will be a great fit for him, both for baseball and academics. We are very grateful to the Baseball Factory for all their help and support. Thanks
I just wanted to let you know that my boy had a wonderful experience at the Cape Cod Camp! He was thrilled with all aspects of the camp, both in terms of the great baseball instruction/training and the friendship he developed with his fellow participants. On the way home, he commented that it was one of the greatest weeks of his life, and shared with me many of the learnings he had absorbed over the course of the training.I didnt see too much of the baseball action myself as I was touring my wife and younger boy around Boston and Cape Cod. I did however see much of Saturdays game. I was particularly impressed by an occasion when my kid, playing catcher, failed to check the runner on third before throwing down to first on a swinging third strike that he had blocked in the dirt. The alert runner on third took advantage of his mistake and scored. Play was stopped at that point to allow one of the coaches to correct him and talk him through that type of situation when he encounters it again in the future. That speaks volumes about what the coaches were committed to accomplishing with each individual player at the camp.On a more personal level, Ill also mention how well my boy got along with his roomate who had two years on him. That 14-to-12 age difference can sometimes be a bridge too far for some boys and, suffice to say, can sometimes create an uncomfortable situation. But my boy clearly got along so well with his roommate and sincerely liked and respected him, which I attribute to the older boy putting him at ease. That is a credit to the older boy, and to how he was raised, and to the spirit of mutual respect and camaraderie established by the coaches at the camp.It was a great week - with excellent focus on the fundamentals, situational play, and the finer points of the game - and my boy looks forward to hopefully being able to experience it again in the future.
The Baseball Factory has had a significant positive impact on my sons life. Not only is the baseball instruction of high quality, but he has been exposed to first class coaches who set an example that is exactly what I was looking for with my son. And hes made friends all over the country that hes stayed in touch with. The Basebal Factory is very much worth it.
I recently attended Baseball Factorys Christmas Tournament at Pirate City (Bradenton, FL) and I can truly say that it was the most amazing baseball experience of my life. I strongly recommend this camp to anybody who is looking to take their game to the next level. For four days I received the best baseball advice/tips by some of the most knowlegeable baseball minds in the country. It gives you a reality of what college and pro baseball is like; playing baseball all day. The fields were amazing being that it was at the Pittsburgh Pirates Spring Training complex This was very cool to get the chance to play on them. I made many new friends as well and got to play kids from all over the country and the chance to see whom I am competing against with the college recruiters. All in all I cannot stress enough how great this event was. Baseball Factory, by far, has the best baseball camp with Pirate City and I have nothing but positive remarks about it. Thank you Baseball Factory!
Great facility coaches are knowledge, friendly, and work well with kids.
