No remodel project goes perfectly but this one came darn close. Our designer, Fatih worked closely with us to come up with the perfect design and materials for our space. I loved the 3D image he provided so that we could fully envision the finished product. I also appreciated that there were no hidden costs. VKB fully disclosed the cost of every item/material. The project manager, Adam walked through the project on the first day and stayed in contact with us (day/evening) to ensure our satisfaction. The CREW, led by Walker was AMAZING!!! I cant say enough about the tile work. The young man spent days in our home working on the floor and shower and it came out beautifully. The other crew members produced similar quality work. The only negative is that sometimes the garbage from the job stayed in our driveway a little longer than we would have liked but, it was a small price to pay for such a beautiful bathroom Cant wait to use VKB again for our hall bath which we hope to start in the fall. Wonderful experience!

We chose VKB for a bathroom remodel because of the positive reviews online. Unfortunately we had a really disappointing experience with this company. They ordered and installed the wrong items, the contractor they used was sloppy, damaging woodwork and ceilings, and the project, which was supposed to take 10 days, took 6 months to complete. (part of the delay was due to the CORRECT materials being back-ordered). We have spent days and quite a bit of money fixing the bad paint job they did (see photos). Despite all of this, I agreed to write the final check today, mostly because we dont want to deal with them anymore. Good riddance, VKB

Our Interior Designer, Shawn, did an excellent job designing our kitchen. I was quite pleased with the entire designing process from the technology that was used and all the in-house material that they had as examples. Our Project Manager, Jason, walked every step of the way with us in having our kitchen done within 2 weeks. He ran a well-oiled machine in which different teams were assigned to different tasks of the project, which made the job very efficient. I would definitely hire VKB again for all my redesigning needs.

VKB just finished remodeling our master bathroom and it looks amazing! We worked with designer Calvin who came out to our house to see the space and hear what we wanted to do with it. From there he 3D modeled the space and presented it to us a week later in the showroom so that we could see how it would look with the huge tub ripped out and the shower expanded. We were able to select the tiles and cabinets and finishes with him in the show room. He helped us immensely by narrowing down the selections based on our likes and wants which was helpful because I couldve been overwhelmed otherwise. He suggested we visit MSIs showroom to see the full slabs of countertop in person which was really great. We ended up changing our mind about what we had originally chosen because its easier to picture the end product when you can see it bigger than the sample size.VKB was able to schedule to begin the work almost right away. The other companies that we talked to initially to get quotes on the work were scheduling months into the future. And their quotes were higher than VKB. Win, win! At the pre-construction meeting we met Adam, the project manager, and Elvis who was in our home daily doing the work. Adam was awesome to coordinate schedules with and easy to reach by text or phone. Elvis and his crew were always professional and made every effort to keep our home clean throughout the process.The end product is amazing. We are so happy with the new bigger shower and the space we regained by taking out the big unused tub.

We worked with Fatih and Adam to remodel our kitchen. Covid-related delays and other hiccoughs certainly slowed the progress of the project, but Fatih and Adam worked with us to get us across the finish line and make things right. We are very happy with the final outcome and are enjoying our new kitchen.

We are very pleased with the kitchen remodel project performed for us by VKB Kitchen & Bath. Their Design Consultant, Fatih Baren came to our home, listened to what we wanted, made suggestions and took pictures and measurements. The next day he emailed us a rendering of the new kitchen with some great ideas. Once we were in the showroom Fatih helped us choose cabinets, countertop and everything necessary to give us a price that day and see a virtual rendering of the new kitchen. We felt the price was very reasonable and a good value. When the project began, Fatih, Project Manager Adam Basci and Juan and his crew met with us in our home to review the project plans, answer questions and make sure we were all on the same page. Each day the crew arrived on time, did the necessary work, respected our home by covering the floors and furniture and cleaned up before they left in the evening. Adam checked in every day to make sure we were satisfied and to answer any questions. When we wanted to add to or change the project it wasn’t a problem and things continued smoothly. Every person we dealt with from VKB Kitchen & Bath is a true professional; Adam is knowledgeable, a pleasure to work with and kept the job moving, Juan and the crew are skilled and gave us a beautiful kitchen, and Fatih was always available to give us design advice. Amazing experience!! From the start of our project VKB has been absolutely wonderful. Our designer, Calvin, really took time and thought out the best use of our space. He went through several designs until he used his creativity to design the perfect kitchen for us. From the start our project manager Jason was very good at communication and very nice to work with. Any questions or concerns were quickly answered. Him and the crew wore masks and made me feel very comfortable. His crew worked very hard and the head of the crew Ismar, was always willing to answer any tiny question I had with what I think (its hard to tell with mask) a friendly smile on his face. They had great attention to detail, and worked hard to do a solid job. The crew finished ahead of schedule, and the result is nothing less than amazing. I would recommend VKB in a heartbeat.

My experience with VKB Kitchen and Bath has been as seamless as a kitchen remodeling project can be. From my initial in home consultation and design appointment with Sean, meetings and almost daily communication with project manager Adam, to the actual work done in my home by Ishmael and his crew I have been impressed by the attention to detail, materials used, technology leveraged, and all around professionalism of this company and it’s employees. The project was completed in seven weeks - from the initial design appointment through the final day of fine-tuning the installation details. During our current global difficulty in sourcing materials, I think this was nothing short of a miracle! Additionally, my designer Sean worked within my budget, which was an important challenge he was very gracious in meeting. Adam also worked around my schedule for our on-site meetings, another very important accommodation. I felt completely at ease with Ishmael and his crew in my home, and they left the job site remarkably clean and organized at the end of each day. My finished kitchen is stunning and I am very satisfied with the work.

Erkay was our project manager and he was phenomenal throughout the process. He responded quickly to questions in person, over the phone, and through text. He solved issues that arose very quickly and provided us with a great bathroom remodel. Our old bathroom had a sheet metal shower stall and very little floor space. The old countertop couldnt hold much on top of it, but the new one has plenty of space. The new shower stall looks great and is works great. We love the tile on the floor and shower as well. The rain shower is also a plus! We love having more space to walk, for storage, and for the shower stall. The team rerouted our toilet, shower, sink, and put down new tile for this project. Erkay did a fantastic job with our new bathroom and we highly recommend him.

Completed an upgrade to our 40-year-old kitchen w VKB Kitchen & Bath. Calvin worked closely w us on the design to get small cabinet and counter space in our townhouse. Al was our PM for the demolition and build-out phases. Al had the challenge as PM to coordinate demolition, new flooring on 1st level, electrical changes, cabinet installs and new fixtures that we purchased. They installed new disposal and ceiling fixture at no charge. No change orders on project. No gaps on work sequence. Finished in half of the contracted days. Great company, designer and PM.

I worked with Junior and Sharon to design the plan and pick out materials. The design was a bit unconventional and required moving walls, piping and rerouting plumbing and electrical to keep a tub and add a double vanity. Junior and Sharon were professional, responsive and very enjoyable to work with. Their connections with tile, paint and supplies made selecting the products easy and fun, as well. They have a great eye for detail and design!Junior had stated it would take 6 to 8 weeks to complete my project. As most projects have issues that come up, I anticipated it would take longer. I was more than pleasantly surprised when the job completed in just 5 weeks, including a week off due to my vacation and waiting on a backorder. Juniors estimation was right on the money! Finishing the job earlier than expected is amazing.Once the project began, Jason, the general contractor, gave daily updates by phone in the evening and came to the job nearly every day to handle the project. Jason is professional, prompt in responding and easy to work with. On site, Henry, the crew leader, was also very professional, pleasant to work with and very responsive to the needs of his workers, the project and my requests. The entire crew was just as professional and pleasant to work with. Each day, they came promptly, set up, polite to each other, my family and home, worked efficiently and professionally, then cleaned up each evening before leaving.The entire staff of VKB Kitchen and Bath were amazing to work with. But even more to the point, their workmanship was top notch. Every detail was taken care of from paint matching, molding work, drywall and finish work, material setting, care of materials and the finished project turned out better than I had expected.Ive worked with many contractors over the years. I recommend few to others and do not write reviews for most. That is not the case with VKB Kitchen and Bath. I recommend them for any kitchen and bath job you may need done for your home. This is the company to pick. This is the third kitchen renovation I have done so I have had some experience with contractors. By far this is the easiest and most professional group in the area. Despite COVID, this project went extremely well from start to finish. Our designer Calvin was flexible and easy to work with from day one. I had an idea what I wanted, and he took my ideas and made them better. I was able to pick and add what I wanted, like adding in the backsplash and sink I found online. He was so easy and down to earth. They didn’t nickel and dime me- the price was the price. Jason managed the work onsite with Elvis and the team. They were always on time and extremely professional. Jason was a perfectionist and checked all the work, his standards were higher than mine, always making sure everything was excellent quality. Jason would call me EVERY afternoon and check in to see how the work was going. I can’t say enough good things about this company. They are responsive and actually care about the quality of their work. They managed all the work and workers. Added plus was they were very flexible and respectful with the fact we had kids and were working at home during the renovation and COVID (and had a dog). I found this company by researching online reviews. So glad I did my research because I love these people!!

Eric-Erkay was our project manager and he was such a pleasure to work with. Always was able to answer our questions and able to pick up the phone if we called. The remodel turned out way better than we expected and are just through the roof with the results!

VKB installed Medallion kitchen cabinets for me about 4 years ago. The edges of many of them have warped. Ive been in correspondence with VKB for the last 6 months, hoping to get repairs, replacements, or at least a touch up stick (I didnt even ask for any of this gratis)--keep getting told that theyll get me in touch with Medallion, but that never happened. Now VKB is just ignoring my emails. The work was fine--wish they had sold me higher quality materials--but look elsewhere for aftercare.

When other contractors said we cannot have a full size window in order to have a another bedroom he showed where and how. When we explained we wanted additional natural light they showed us a four panel door. The spacing of everything was well thought of.During the construction the workers were very respectful and true professionals. The quality of the work was top notch. VKB did an excellent job on both bathrooms, and replaced the damaged drywall in the dining room from the plumbing incident(s) that led to the decision to remodel the bathrooms. The work was completed on-time and (ever so slightly) under-budget. The PM (Jason) kept us informed and updated to everything that was going on and what to expect schedule-wise.The crew chief, Jonathan, was here every day working diligently and with an amazing attention to detail. I appreciated the craftsmanship he displayed, his explanations he gave to allow me to make decisions, and the consistency of having the same person in charge for the entire project. Jonathan worked long hours and was truly committed to the success of the project.I would definitely hire them again and in fact I am planning on engaging them again for our kitchen when we are ready for that.

We hired VKB to gut and remodel one of our bathrooms and they did a great job! We are very pleased with the finished room. We were impressed with everyone. The bathroom looks amazing. It did take longer than expected but two items were shipped broken so we had to wait for the new shipments to arrive. One suggestion is to make sure to use plastic to protect furniture on the floor beneath the remodel project as dust travels. We love our new “spa like bathroom”. It looks amazing!! Thanks!!

We used VKB to convert our ½ bath/powder room into a full bath with walk-in shower. This entailed moving our front door and expanding the front porch. Overall, we experienced a lack of attention to detail and a lack of responsiveness that allowed for lapses in quality and mistakes in construction. The workmanship is merely adequate.We do not recommend VKB.

We just had 3 bathrooms remodeled by VKB . Jack was our designer . Jason was our project manager and Jonathan was lead construction . All I can say is this was really great, professional experience . The work was executed in a very timely manner with daily phone calls from Jason to check overall progress and satisfaction . Jonathan and his crew have great skill and artistic ability ;high quality work as craftsman! I love the look and feel of our beautiful bathrooms ! I am not one to review, but VKB has earned my respect for a great overall experience . We highly recommend this company! We had a great experience with VKB on two bathroom remodels and some work on our basement. They were a professional one-stop shop that brought our vision to fruition with limited involvement on our part. The quality of the work was excellent. The only complaint was the time took longer than expected, but I think that tends to be normal with remodeling.

The end result of our finished kitchen definitely deserves 5 stars. Vkb Kitchen and Bath was able to work with our budget and deliver a beautiful kitchen remodel. Our designer was Calvin who did an excellent job with the plans, giving us just what we were looking for with a pantry for additional food storage and a center Island. Jose and Juan did an excellent job with the actual Construction. Overall, the project could have been completed a week sooner, if plans would have been followed correctly the first time, but this can be overlooked because of the fantastic end result.

VKB did a fantastic job on our kitchen remodel. Joe was very attentive to our needs and created a design that we were very happy with. Jason maintained excellent communication throughout the job. Being able to text or call him with any questions or concerns was very convenient. Finally, Jose and his team did amazing work. They completed the job very quickly, and were always very careful to clean up at the end of each day, which we (and our toddler and animals) appreciated! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend VKB.

We used VKB to update three bathrooms in our house - one powder room, one full bath, and our master bath. Junior was overseeing the design and was very thorough from the start of the project and throughout the entire process. He helped us with all aspects of the design and made sure that all my questions were answered and concerns were addressed, and helped us with decisions when was unsure. When the work started, Al was our project manager and was also very accommodating. I pay very close attention to detail and both Al and Junior were supportive throughout the job. After the project began, Junior even made two special trips to the house to make sure the shower design was what I had asked for and that any outstanding items from the contract were being closed out. Al and his crew also returned to address a minor issue we had with the shower head after the job was finished. VKB did a remodel/upgrade on three of our bathrooms - a powder room (no shower or bath) and two full upstairs baths, including our master. We engaged them for help picking out paint, tile, vanities, fixtures and floor designs, as well as the actual installation. We found them to be friendly, professional and responsive throughout the process. Junior at the shop, as well as our project manager Al, were both great to work with and saw our project through to our satisfaction. Im sure theyre not the cheapest option around, but in this case you definitely get your moneys worth!

He kept in constant communication with us, and addressed all of our needs and emerging questions about the project.Walter, the crew leader is fantastic! He managed every aspect of the project while Jason was on vacation and even had excellent ideas and suggestions for the project. He went above and beyond. Jason and Walter are the reasons to go to VKB.The cons:The one major negative is that Sean, our designer, was completely unavailable. The fixtures he suggested, for the most part had 2-3 star reviews on most vendor’s sites. When we asked him to send us some options that were better rated, he basically told us to choose whatever we liked, he could not provide any additional help. He was barely involved in any of the selections, was very slow to respond (often taking more than 10 days to respond to emails), and did not keep on top of our selection requests. Some of our selections were not noted.The bottom line:Once we had made the selections, and all the materials were ordered, Jason and Walter took over, and from then on, it was smooth sailing! In short, the construction crew at VKB is fantastic, and they are definitely worth the money. I highly recommend VKB to my friends. 5 stars for the construction crew, 1-2 stars for design.

We decided to select VKB to do a complete remodel our 35 year-old main bath and master bath. Calvin was our designer and Al our project manager. Both did outstanding work and we are thrilled with the results. The work crew were meticulous in their clean-up each day. We had one issue needing a fix after the job and they were immediately responsive, fully standing behind their work.

We love our bathroom remodel from VKB. So glad we went with this company. We have lived with it for a few weeks now and are loving it. We had great personal assistance from Calvin in the design phase and Al, the project manager, kept us well informed of the progress. They also stayed on schedule.

I used VKB for a fairly extensive kitchen remodel. They did an okay job on everything except the wood floors, which have been a nightmare. We have wood floors all throughout our house and Vkb added some wood floor to the main level in the kitchen, which were supposed to match the existing floors everywhere else. The floor guy they used was unprofessional and did a terrible job. He made so many mistakes, which I had to fight to get corrected. He left huge dents in the wood floor, stained them with a completely different finish than the rest of the house, left staples exposed, etc. They left about 6 inches of trim unfinished which I had to fight for weeks to get fixed.

Complete master bathroom remodel. The work was completed within the quoted time frame and for the agreed price. The design by Calvin exceed our expectation and the support in selecting the finishes was extremely helpful. The quality of workmanship lead by Eriks team during the rebuild and installation of all hardware and material, down to finishing the painting was of a very high quality. Als (project manager) was very responsive to phone calls, answering questions, and addressing the few small issues that normally happen doing a construction project. Construction trash/waste was picked up daily and removed from site which helped to keep our front yard looking nice during the project.

We decided to remodel our kitchen and master bathroom. It needed an update, new appliances and cabinets and floors.We decided to check with a few local contractor and hope for the best. After having some of this contractor visit our home we decide to go with VKB Kitchen and Bath We read some good reviews of them on Angies List .Also we had a god impression when they visited us.Two representatives visited our home, one of them explain us our options and listen to all our concern while the second took measurement and pictures.We are impressed with the kitchen they build for us and for the treatment we received in the process.The sales person answer all our concerns and give us good recommendations without imposing any of them. After 23 years in our home we decided to have our kitchen remodeled. After getting 4 quotes we decided to go with VKB. They provided all the materials (cabinets, flooring, backsplash) at the best price. They offered a good selection of materials. Most companies estimated 4-6 weeks, but VKB finished in three! Our project manager, Jason Freeman, was great. Anything we had concerns about he addressed quickly and cheerfully. We had a few minor issues with our flooring, but those were fixed to our satisfaction. I would happily recommend VKB.

We are so pleased with how our kitchen turned out. The VKB Team turned our tiny, poorly-lit kitchen into an enormous, glowing masterpiece. It’s hard to believe it’s actually part of the same house. The condition of our  shower is unusable.  The job done by the previous contractor caused damage to the lower level of the house due to water leak.  Looking for a good company is not an easy task.  We needed somebody who we can trust and can provide excellent workmanship at a reasonable amount of time and cost.We found VKB from a list of remodelers here Columbia, MD. Since it has a high online rating, we decided to go ahead and hire the company to work on our bathroom. To my surprise, the quality of the job was superb and the crew was fun to work with. Jason Freeman, the Project Manager, didn’t let me down. He is always there checking on the status, before and after the work is done, making sure everything is done as planned. For design issues, I always rely on Amanda, the senior designer, for her input. Thanks to her valuable ideas; it sure relieved me from stressful decisions. Overall, I too give the company 2 thumbs up. You will never go wrong with VKB.

VKB did an excellent job on my master bathroom remodel. Calvin helped us design the bathroom based on our needs. He gave us suggestions on the layout and design. The project manager Polo and his team are great electrician and plumber, they did a great job, always focus on details and are very pleasant to work with. They come on time and clean up after the daily work. They finished the work within the timeframe. In addition, Joe, the VP at VKB is nice and helpful as well. We are very happy to have VKB doing our house project. We will definitely recommend the company to our friends.

We were very pleased with Amandas assistance in making the many choices on hardware and style. The work which was completed on budget and pretty much on time. The work was supervised by Jason who was a pleasure to work with. Work was a neat as remodeling can be.We had minor issues shortly after full payment was made and there was no question, they came back and corrected the problem.Over a year later, the glass shower walls developed stains which we could not remove. We contacted VKB and the next day a representative came and agreed the glass was defective and needed to be replaced. VKB came and replaced the glass at no charge to us.Their support of their work even after final payment is made is outstanding.

We recently have our Master bathroom remodeled. Sean, the designer is very patient and help me pick out the right color, tiles and even place order on the fixtures together with me. Polo, the project manager, stays on top of things and when I have issues with the wrong things ordered, he will fix it. The working crews are very polite and finish the job on time. They are respectful and are easy to work with. Great quality work.Overall, we have a great experience with VKB. Our master bathroom looks amazing and we could not be happier.

Amanda helped to design the new rooms and I am very pleased with all the choices we made. She took care of all the purchasing, which I appreciated. She was very willing to call suppliers and ask questions about items. Jason was the project manager and he kept things moving forward and was very responsive to my concerns, which were few. The workmen were clearly professionals with lots of experience in kitchen and bath renovation. They did a wonderful job. It took less than 4 weeks from the day they started demolition to the day work was completed.

I cannot say enough about the service we got from VKB! When work started, I had a newborn who had come a couple weeks early, and the VKB crew did everything in their power to get done quickly to make life easier for us and the baby, even working long hours over a holiday weekend while we were out of the house.Our designer Paul was very responsive and helpful, overseeing the project from start to finish. He checked in frequently and was always available over e-mail or phone. His design for our kitchen makes it feel like a totally different room, more open than I ever thought it could feel. Its hard to believe its really our house! He helped us work around numerous obstacles—walls that couldnt be moved and all the space constraints a galley condo kitchen can offer— to come up with an affordable way to add square footage and make the whole thing look beautiful.The VKB workers were unfailingly kind and clean, keeping everything as dust-free as possible in our home and covering the floors and nearby furniture thoroughly. They worked fast to get our new kitchen operational within days, and when there was a mix-up on the appliance delivery (Home Depots fault, not theirs), they made sure our old fridge was plugged in throughout construction to keep our food, which I thought was a nice touch. They also had to contend with the warped, 1940s walls of our condo, which dont readily match up with large pieces of granite. Some serious craftsmanship and problem-solving went into making the counters look like a million bucks and getting everything flush.I would recommend these guys to anyone! I had never tried a home improvement project big enough to need a contractor and I had visions of The Money Pit and all the horror stories you hear. These guys were the exact opposite. We LOVE being in our kitchen now— a major improvement in our quality of life, just in time to start cooking for our new, little family!

VKB Kitchen and Bath remodeled our kitchen. It included all new cabinets, granite counter tops, back splash, base and crown molding, Island cabinets, remounting plumbing to accommodate relocation of dishwasher. They also removed soffits to accommodate longer wall cabinets. Replaced some drywall and painted. The crew did an outstanding job. We are more than pleased with their work and do highly recommend them. We found them on Angies List with an A rating.

Because we had an unfortunate experience with bathroom remodeling, my wife and I were very cautious about selecting a vendor to do a second bathroom in our home. Given our concerns, we interviewed many vendors before moving ahead. We finally settled on VKB and, now that the job has been completed, we are happy to say that we are delighted with the finished product. Dealing with VKB was impressive from start to finish—far outshining our first experience. At the beginning design phase, our design consultant; Calvin Lee spent considerable time with us, both in our home and in the showroom to make sure every detail was just right and met our needs and tastes. The project manager, Al Onur was very responsive and frequently on-site and the on-site supervisor Walter Cinto could not have been more helpful and effective. The job was completed on time, on budget, and with no major problems. We would highly recommend VKB to anyone contemplating any remodel. (In fact, that’s where we’ll go when we eventually remodel other areas of our home.)

VKB just remodeled our hallway bath, and they did a great job! Despite being a little hard to get in touch with over the holidays we were able to arrange a time for a quote. Calvin, our designer, was on time and quick. He brought up a couple of options while we were reviewing the project that we hadnt considered yet, gave us a very reasonable estimate, made an appointment for us to meet him at the showroom in Columbia, and was gone in less than 45 minutes. No pressure at all, and we enjoyed his advice and personality.When we met Calvin at the showroom and he presented us with a 3D model of our new bathroom and picked out materials, carrying samples around the showroom to see how it would all look together. It was a very easy process, and he did a good job balancing his recommendations with our style choices. We signed the contract and had an estimated start date in less than 2 hours. Watching him poke in our selections into a PDF document was the only tedious part of the process, but the showroom was comfy and just fine.About 2 weeks later Calvin and our project manager Jason arrived for a walkthrough, and Jason verified that the contract matched our understanding of what theyd be doing. We also went over the things that we were on the hook to provide: paint and hardware for the hallway door. Jason also verified the location of our water cut-off valve, electric panel, and where theyd be able to wash paint brushes, etc.About a week and a half later Jason called with the start date. When that day arrived we met Juan and Wilson, who did the actual work on the bathroom. They put plastic and dropcloths down to protect our floors and cleaned up after themselves every day. Materials were delivered when needed and stored in our garage. Some cuts (wood, tile, etc.) were made there and out by our front porch, and they also did a great job working around the rain the plagued us a few days. We were surprised how fast they went and how well everything turned out. About 5 and a half working days until our bathroom was complete. Jason collected the remaining payments along the way, the first one having been made when we signed the contract at the showroom.As with every project, there were a couple of things that didnt go according to plan. We wanted to tile all the way up the wall around the bathtub but we found that the ceiling wasnt level and it would have turned out less than pretty, so went a little shorter than planned but ended up looking like it was meant to be that way from the beginning. There was a leak in the sink drain, so we called Jason and Juan came back the next day and took care of it. I had to clean up a few places where the paint from the baseboard moulding hit the tile and my OCD couldnt just let it go. BUT the bathroom turned out looking fantastic! VKB left the remaining tile, which we donated to a local Habitat for Humanity ReStore.We were really surprised by how well everything worked together, from the colors to the styles, to how nice everything looks now. Our kids say its like walking into a hotel bathroom. It feels like we really got some high end components installed for a very reasonable price.In summary, were going to use them again for our master bathroom.

We had VKB Kitchen and Bath redo our 1948 kitchen in November 2013 and they did a fantastic job! Our kitchen rehabilitation included cabinets, floors, countertops, addition of a gas line, and adding ceiling lights.From the initial meeting to discuss ideas and make measurements, to the final walk through, they were professional, responsive and friendly. Within a few days of our meeting them for the first time, they diagrammed a plan for the kitchen. Once we picked materials, patterns etc. based on our price range, we basically stood aside and watched as VKB transformed our space. Any questions or concerns were promptly dealt with. The professionals were excellent at troubleshooting when challenged by issues with our old house.Their price was reasonable and they worked with us within our budget without pushing for more expensive materials. Very professional and we recommend them highly. Im sure for our next project we will ask them back.

As with a lot of homeowners, we were scared stiff about starting a home remodeling project after all of the horror stories we had heard from friends. We were pushed off the edge by a master shower that stopped working and could not be repaired without tearing up the walls. We dove in after reading great reviews about VKB and totally lucked out by getting matched up with Calvin when we walked into the store. From start to finish this has been an amazing experience starting with the design phase, to demolition, construction, and final walk through. Calvin was perfect for us. He first asked us to collect pictures of bathrooms while he took meticulous measurements of our space. He then held our hands through what he called an “organic process” of designing our dream bath. What was really fantastic was when we had to choose tile, he walked us next door to the humongous tile store (where he was previously the store manager!) and smoothly guided us through one of the hardest choices to make with the perfect recommendations. The project was then handed to Al, the construction manager, and again we totally lucked out. I highly recommend this team of Calvin and Al. The construction phase went super smoothly. The workers are extremely clean and respectful. Everyday they lay down clean tarps and cover the carpet they are walking on with sticky plastic sheets. (We have white carpet upstairs and after they were done and a quick vacuum it is absolutely good as new!) Demo day was painless, no dumpster... just hand carried away in a truck. Construction happened pretty much daily from 8-4. We didn’t have to be home when the team was here and we felt absolutely comfortable leaving them home unsupervised. I am an orthopedic surgeon so I’m very precise about measurements. Each night I would sneak into the bathroom and measure everything, and I’m telling you all of the measurements were spot on! Also of note, they taped up two plastic sheet barrier walls between the master bedroom and bath which left the bedroom perfectly clean and livable with zero dust. We slept in our own master bed during the whole master bath remodel. In the end the project took one week longer than expected (this happened over Xmas holiday) and right on budget with no HGTV surprises. Al kept in close touch throughout the project and would text back immediately whenever we texted him with a question. Jose was also incredible during the entire remodel. We absolutely love our new bathroom and we honestly can’t think of any choice that we would change looking back. After this fantastic experience we are already planning our kitchen remodel with VKB next year. I will absolutely insist on my same team of Calvin, Al, and Jose. I have no fear of my next remodeling project

Many people cannot believe it is the same room. The professionalism and responsiveness of VKB Kitchen and Bath is unsurpassed.The workers were polite, efficient and very capable. As a homeowner you are always facing challenges and one of them is remodeling. We had our perfect master bath vision for years and couldn’t find people who could make it a reality until we met Paul Panah at VKB. From the planning phase to the final customer acceptance test Paul was always on site, monitoring progress, making adjustments and making sure we are getting what we were looking for. Flexibility, professionalism and ability to translate customer’s dreams into hardware you can touch, feel and enjoy – this is what put Paul and VKB way above their competitors. VKB will be my first choice for any future remodeling projects and I will highly recommend them to my friends and relatives.

Our three VKB bathrooms are PERFECT. The office staff is easy to work with and schedule appointments.Yucel Muslu came out to our house and created digital renderings of the bathrooms, incorporating all of the ideas I had and some of his own. He kept me fully informed of where he was in the design process. We then met with Yucel in his studio and picked out everything (the fixtures, tile, toilets) from their showroom. Prior to our meeting, Yucel had 3 or so fixture options he thought would look nice for each bathroom and we selected from there. If I had a design portfolio on HOUZZ, he would have utilized that as well but I did not. Yucel is an incredibly skilled designer and our bathrooms are BEAUTIFUL. Al Onur was our contractor and he kept an eye on our project, stopped by every so often and was always quickly available via text or phone. Elvis Aguilon was the one in charge of all projects at our house on a day to day basis and he is an incredibly skilled craftsman. His work is meticulous and the tile/grout are perfect throughout all 3 bathrooms. The two men who were in the house everyday were extremely clean and swept thoroughly at the end of each day. All of my wood floors were protected and they took great care to not damage walls when they were carrying in items. Any accidental damage they touched up and they even fixed an attic door that I broke prior to the project which was a nice surprise.Our project added a water closet in the master while eliminating the tub and making the shower enormous. Yucel was able to easily make design adjustments when I panicked that the water closet wouldnt be large enough; he was correct, the size he said would be fine is an excellent size.I would hire VKB again for our kitchen and for our two other bathrooms when they need to be redone. They were easy to work with, thorough and timely. I recommend VKB without hesitation to all of my friends and neighbors.

VKB remodeled our entire master bathroom, from the dry walls out. We chose them, because was saw another unit they did in our condo building and knew they could follow the condo rules regarding renovation. They did a wonderful job from start to finish! Yucel was our designer, who listened to what we wanted and presented us with a total plan for the bathroom. Having the 3D computer design to look at in the store was terrific! He recommended a number of things that turned out great. Our project manager was Al and the on-site supervisor (not sure if that’s the correct title) was Pedro and they were both great and very responsive to our needs. Al was always available through texting and always got back to us. Pedro did a great job, always had a smile, and always told us “not a problem.” Living through major renovation is never easy, but Al, Pedro, and the crew did everything possible to make the construction painless. Even after completion, they were very responsive in coming back for the punch list items (which happens on every construction project) and they have assured us that we have a two-year warranty. (We are certain that they will be around if we need them.) We absolutely love our “new” master bathroom and totally recommend Yucel as a designer, Al as a project manager, and Pedro as the day-to-day remodeler!!

Even with a few days delay due to power outage at the countertop supplier, our kitchen remodel started a day early and finished in two weeks flat! None of our friends could believe it when they saw how quickly it was going. Polo, Al, and their crews were fast and professional, and very responsive to any questions or concerns we had along the way. Were extremely happy with the results and would definitely use them again.

Job went well with only a couple of minor hiccups. The initial demolition went great and the clean up was excellent. The plumbing and electrical work was very good that moved various lines throughout the kitchen. The quality of the cabinets and granite counters were excellent quality and we were very happy with our choice. The flooring we had selected matched our existing flooring that connected the hallway and dinning room. The only issue we had was some miscommunication on certain painting aspects but they came back and corrected the issues. Overall - very happy with the finished product and hope to enjoy this kitchen for many years.

The crew was on time every day and were diligent about minimizing the amount of dust and cleaning up each day prior to leaving. We initially met with our designer, Mr. Junior Wizart and his associate Sharon, to discuss the work we wanted done. Junior visited our home and walked thru and listened to what we wanted. He provided several suggestions and left to formulate their proposal. We met again the following week and Junior and Sharon walked us thru their design proposal which we were very happy with. We made a down payment and2. Over the following several weeks, we interacted regularly with Junior and Sharon regarding the details of and the selections for each bathroom. We made a down payment on the May 28, 2019 and signed the contract on 5 June which started the ball rolling.3. Over the next few weeks we made detailed selections for showers, faucets, floors walls, paint, etc. In some cases, our detailed selections exceeded the budget that was allowed in our signed contract, so a mod was required and adjustments made. All the changes were very easy to implement, and were completed quickly.4. We had a walk thru in early Jul with the Project Manager, Mr. Jason Freeman, and Mr. Wizart to confirm all selections and installation plans. It was quite thorough and painless.5. Work began on 7 Jul promptly and the Team Lead, Walter, and his team began the demo. We have an electronic door lock and gave the team their own code for the duration of the project. For 95% of the project, they worked without our oversight. They began after we left for work, and would remain on site until one of us returned from work to show us the results of the day.6. Every day until the job was completed on August 14, the VKB crew was here working. They were very professional and very thorough. They alerted us when they needed decisions made (height of shower head, placement of body washers, etc. They also asked if they could work on a Saturday to maintain their schedule.7. Almost every day Jason, our project manager, checked it to see if all was going well and if we had any issues. We had to make several minor adjustments to the design plan, and when we did, it was completed painlessly. The team kept the walkway into the house covered and cleaned up daily. Trash was picked up regularly and there was no need to a dumpster.8. We were so happy with the performance of the bathroom work, that we hired VKB to renovate our kitchen backsplash. Junior helped pick out the colors and style of tile, and Jasons team did the installation in two days.9. The entire 3.5 bath renovation work was completed and the final payment made on August 14th.

VKB offers a free in home evaluation of your kitchen or bath. Sean Harris, my designer, came to my home, explained who and how VKB works, discussed my expectations, and budget. I previously received quotes from two other kitchen remodeling companies that were way over my budget. I met with Sean in the VKB showroom the next week. We worked together to select my cabinets, counter top, and lighting. His suggestions were wonderful. VKB is a one stop shop. My entire kitchen came within my budget, there were no add ons to my contract. A crew was available to start next week. Jason would be my project manager. I have never experienced someone who had so much concern for my needs or my expectations. Jason offers the best customer service I have ever experienced. He called me every night to review the day. Everyone who came to my home and worked on my kitchen was professional, courteous, and meticulous. They covered my home to keep it clean during the day and removed it every night. They even installed my new appliances. They finished the work in less time than anticipated. My neighbors love my new kitchen and so do I.I cannot emphasize enough, save yourself time and money by working with VKB Kitchen & Bath. After 14 years living in a 47-year-old ranch house we decided to renovate our small kitchen and small master bathroom. We are overall happy with the work of VKB except for a couple of minor issues. Our project manager Mr. Ferhat Doganci was very professional, understanding and customer focused, many times he went out of the way to satisfy us.The cabinets and granite counters were excellent quality and we are very happy with our choice. The only issue we had was some miscommunication on certain aspects which were rectified later. Mr. Joe Zouine was very helpful in helping us meet our budget. Overall - very happy with the finished product and hope to enjoy this kitchen for many years.

I emailed them but didnt hear back after a week or so, then I called to set up an in home estimate. It was set up over a week in advance, however the appointment time came and went and no one ever showed up, called or emailed. This was after we told them a friend of ours used them for a recent remodel. Will not do business with.

We have Ferhat as our project manager. So far, the work is adequate. We had to ask for a side panel to be as pictured and expected on our plan many times. They wanted to acquiese us with a decorative leg. Thats not what we contracted for.. our job is not yet done. We have had one delay after another, I cant even keep track. The subcontractors quit our job or VKB fired them, the floor guy had a problem, my wife had a baby., Etc. Etc. We have gone away for a week at a time to come back with nothing done. I am really hoping that this company finishez our kitchen. When we complain, theres a ton of yes maam from Ferhat with I ton of inaction. Inaction! Lots of talk. No action.

VKB just finished a complete remodel of a hall bathroom for us in Columbia, Maryland and they did a great job. The folks at VKB were upbeat, helpful, and had a can-do and realistic approach. They repaired the water damage and then remade the whole bathroom into a showpiece. The fact that they have a showroom with many samples is a big positive.Junior Wizzart the designer had great taste and attention to detail. Our project manager Jason Freeman was tireless in keeping the project moving and keeping us informed. Inevitably there were some hiccups and the VKB folks stayed calm and just solved the problems. The workers were polite, asked good questions, and worked HARD. In addition, they were careful to put down dropcloths, plastic sheeting to minimize dust, and to clean up the work area carefully at the end of every day. I do not hesitate to recommend VKB.
