The food here is just delicious. I have been ordering fried tilapia for years and it is worth the drive. The butchers are very kind and listen to what you would like, extra seasoning, we got you, extra crispy, of course. If you have a chance check out the kitchen. I have ordered several items and they are always well seasoned and cooked to perfection. I just wish they had more catering options so that I could order more items in bulk.

Cool store, buy I asked for some meat that was $3.99 a pound, and the guy behind the counter typed in his own price at $4.59 a pound. Not gonna live or die of $0.59, but its the principle of the thing. What how many times do they get away with this a day? What else are the ripping you off with?

This was my first and last time here! I went to purchase Oxtail. The Butcher weighed the meat for me, printed the sale sticker, then asked if I wanted the Oxtail to be cut. I said yes, and the Butcher started cutting the meat, asking if the size of cuts were okay. He even cut off the fat, tossing it to the side. When he was finished, the Butcher then put the original $29 sticker on my meat. But, he had cut off all of the fat, without offering me the option of keeping the fat because he knew he would charge me. I asked the Butcher to please weigh the meat again, because the weight of the meat has now changed. When he weighed the meat, there was a $6 difference in price ($23). The Butcher said he could not give me a sticker for the lower price. He asked me to speak to the Owner. When I asked the Owner why I would be charged for something that I am not getting? The Owner said that the meat is sold in a bundle. That is why they charge the whole price. This would not have been a problem for me, if the Butcher had not discarded the fat, and still charge me same price, as if I had received it! Needless to say, I did not purchase anything here. Weights and Measures needs to pay a visit to this establishment!

This place is great! Food is hot and fresh. Seafood and meats are excellent. The employees are friendly and very helpful. My favorite item is the baby octopus and they fry it for you so you know it fresh. You ask for something and they will do it for you. I recommend this place, especially the meats for bbq!

This little market has everything the big one dont, they also have Awsone food prepped ready to eat. Burritos, tortas, combo plates fried fish come out its its a treat!!!

The best meat pack prices in town. If you dont know about them go give their friendly meat section staff a visit and take a look at their great widely priced meat packs. The women in the hot food station dont speak to much English but food is great and so is their service. Cashiers will assist you at check out to make sure you found everything you needed.

This review is based on one visit only. A decent quality Mexican meat market. The usual selection of fresh meats and seafood and a bonus in that they sell bulk quantitiesof meat as well. The prices are very reasonable for their meat and seafood. I purchased large shrimp at 6.99/pound (was told it was from Sinaloa, supposed to be a good thing from what I hear) and baby octopus (dont recall the price) and I was very happy with my purchase. They also offer a hot food deli and an assortment of Mexican grocery products and produce. I did not check prices on the grocery products and produce, but I can say that the produce was not the freshest. It was reasonably clean, but I did notice a large crack in the glass of one of the refrigerated meat displays. Im no health department inspector, but Im pretty sure that is a hygiene/food safety issue that needs to addressed asap. I would return again and would recommend it to most people. Hopefully they address the meat display sooner rather than later.

Everyone is very helpful and the food from the kitchen is great. You can also pick the sea food and they deep fry it at no extra cost.

My family and i came here to order the taco special and the carnicera workers were rude as hell! Since we had a big order the workers are upset. When paying for the tacos the cashier was also very rude. Tacos were okay for the price..but the service plus the drive was not worth it!
