I also think its great that they have a Bitcoin ATM where you can buy different Cryptocurrencies. My only complaint is that the store has some pretty tiny aisles and can make it hard to stay 6 feet from other shoppers. But they have a great beer and wine selection 😊

Impressive selection of quality products!

Owner Justin is not fooling around. He knows a lot about whisky and he tastes a wide variety of special rye and bourbon barrels that he orders bottled for sale, sometimes exclusively. He is honest about what a certain customer may wish to buy, or avoid, or mix. The craft beer selection is also very good, and there is a good wine selection too, but whisky has pride of place. There are terrific single malts of all sorts. The staff is always friendly.

Super cool place, been coming here since they opened after the shopping center renovation. Everyone there knows there stuff, best selection of beer, wine, and spirits. They even have certain batches of liquor blended specially for them and they are fairly priced. Always friendly and willing to recommend something even if it saves you money and loses them some. This is the kind of place that will survive big stores selling booze because they go the extra mile and are always so nice to you.

He didn’t know I knew who he was, but today I saw the owner of Veteran’s Liquor at a grocery store and he was buying thanksgiving dinner for someone in need. I don’t know if he knew this person but that doesn’t matter. He didn’t do it for show or clout (no cell phone to Facebook live :) but this was just someone being generous and kind to be generous and kind - then, the cashier asked if he would like to make a donation to the Marion house and he sent $20 their way too. On top of this, he had his daughter with him and was really letting her get involved and showing her an true example of how to care. It was special and deserving to be noticed on here. This act of kindness wasn’t towards me but it really made my day! I hope you consider supporting his store, because he is a real veteran who cares about his community.

Amazing whiskey selection with great prices. Most importantly, their customer service goes above and beyond. When they didn’t have the specific bottle of bourbon I was looking for, they called several other stores to see if they had one. You never see that kind of customer service.They then suggested several other bottles based on my preferences. I’m from out of state, but will make it a point to stop in any time I’m within driving range. Wish more places were like this.

Ive been to many liquor stores in town. When it comes to selection, staff and location, this is why I now only go to Veterans exclusively. Justin, their whiskey guy really knows his stuff. If hes giving you a recommendation, he stands behind it. I go to so many other liquor stores and know more about whiskey than they do. As far as selection goes, lets just say they have like 20+ Japanese whiskeys. Thats just the Japanese stuff. Their shelves are loaded with anything from $12 whiskeys to $500 whiskeys. These guys are the best! When people ask for my liquor store recommendation, I tell them they have to go to Veterans.

Veterans wine and liquor has one of the best selections of craft beer south of Denver; however, what really sets them apart is their superior customer service. The employees seem to have a genuine passion for beer, and utilize that passion and knowledge to make sure every customer finds what they want. I have to give a special shout out to their employee Robert who had put a very rare beer aside for himself (as all true beer fans would do). Upon inquiring about that beer and talking with him for a few minutes he offered to let me buy it, as he has already had it before. This may not seem like a big deal to some people, but I had spent five years trying to find this particular bottle.If you are in the market for rare craft beer, or any beer/wine/liquor at great prices with fantastic service, look no further than Veterans.

Ive been going here for several years, and its the best liquor store in the city. On average, they have good prices and sales on top of their selections. They have a singles/build-your-own-six-pack fridge, a fast-cooler for bombers, a back room with sales, and recently they started having tastings of beer and wine on select weekdays. The employees are always helpful in recommending a new beer for me.The best part? Student discounts. (Beer and wine excluded)

My wife and daughter were in town from KC and visited Veterans Liquor to get some beer to bring me for Fathers Day. Im a beer ticker who enjoys acquiring beers I havent tried from places I havent been. The staff at Veterans was an immense help while my wife and daughter tediously cross-checked every beer in the store against my Untappd profile to see if Ive had it yet. Apparently, some even voluntarily gave up beers from their private stash. Thank you!

You can almost get claustrophobic in this place due to the sheer amount of liquor packed into this tiny shop. Its amazing! Ive been able to find items there, like my mead wine, which I could only get at the larger liquor stores before they opened. Now I primarily use them for my booze supply! Staff is friendly and willing to order special things if they dont have it stocked. They even have a taste testing booth where you can sample a daily chosen brand of liquor. Its at specific times though.

Such sweet owners for a laid back shop. They have an instant wine cooler which I thought was smart. They offer student discounts and as well as frequent shopper cards. They offer a free shot on your birthday as well as a vast knowledge of their products.

Best liquor store in the area, hands down. The owner is always very helpful and will call his distributors or sales reps while Im asking for a particular beer in an attempt to find it.They are also one of the few places with some very high end beer and spirits. Last time I was there, they had the Sam Adams utopias (roughly $100 per bottle), and bombers and sixers of many local craft brews.

The guy who runs the shop spent like half an hour helping me find a bat-friendly tequila even though we both werent sure if I was crazy or not. Also they are very sweet to allow me to buy sodas from them on my lunch break.

This is my standard go-to liquor store. They are always helpful and very friendly. Great selection of craft beers and whiskey. They have a good variety of wines and everything else you need.

We popped in for the first time after finding them through Instagram, and might not have given the place a second glance otherwise given the plain (though large) facade of the place. I am glad we did visit that first time, because what we found is a great liquor store with tons of beer (great quality and from tons of breweries), lots of great whiskey and bourbon (and other liquid and liqueurs too), a good wine selection, and a very helpful staff. Those is now one of our go-to liquor stores in town.

Went to check out and sat at the counter while they sat there and talked with a vendor. I made it apparent I was standing there and they still kept on with their conversation. I ended up leaving without making a purchase.

Freaking joke! They sold me the wrong alchohol! I trusted them because I went there so often! 2 Iraq tours and one in Afghanistan! They still charged me extra, because their retarded cashier handed me whatever was convenient. Oh and word to the wise? Even with a military discount, the place next door is cheaper.

They always have a great selection of beer and get new stuff in every Thursday, but it goes fast! Everyone is super helpful and friendly and suggests great new beer to try.
