This liquor store is awesome. They have the most interesting beers here that I never see at any other liquor store. The owner is the most awesome friendly dude and offers great suggestions on what to get. Awesome location, fair prices, good drinks and good service. Love it!

Best place in town! The owner is friendly, has fantastic recommendations, and always remembers returning customers. I moved to Widefield last year, but will make the drive across town for the amazing selection and customer service.

The family liquor store! I feel very welcome at this store and know they keep my favorites in stock because I get so disappointed when they dont have them. About to get on the wagon for a bit. Ill miss the owners, they are SO pleasant ALL THE TIME! It must take a lot of work to have such great service. Ill miss them, but look forward to returning after a hard day at work. They always had me smiling inside before I even got home to drink my shot and a beer!For every terrible review I leave, there must be some 5 star reviews also.

I wish I could give them 10 stars, this place is the most amazing hidden gem in the city. I searched for DAYS trying to find the special edition Chinese New Years Johnnie Walker Blue Label bottle and they had one left! The owners are super friendly & didn’t over charge for it even though it’s super limited edition and hard to find. His whiskey knowledge is phenomenal; absolutely coming back.

Its local. Not overly friendly staff, but maybe thats to be expected... Way better than the German downtown. Hes a bit snooty... Ill go there again sometime and do a review. Check out his mood. Personally, I think he should retired.

My favorite liquor store! Dont let the size fool you... It may look small but they always have a great selection. I always find excellent deals on close out wines as well. Plus the owner is very friendly and helpful! Make sure you stop here... Its better than the big stores by far!

Wow. Do NOT shop here. Checked my statement a day later and saw that some lovely employee must have stolen information on my brand new card and made a HUGE online purchase. Literally the first time I used my card. The company they ordered from was able to give me their information - guess whose filing a police report!

Love this place! Peter is extremely helpful. I love my craft beers and he helps me find a new beer every time, he also helped my wife find some of her favorite wine. When I was attending a wedding party, he helped me find a very tasteful bourbon that everyone enjoyed! This place and all the employees are fantastic. 10/10

I wont be going back. The young blond woman clerk is unfriendly, unsmiling. The door is closed so there is no air circulation. It is difficult to get from the cash register to the door to get out if someone is in line behind you. It is impossible to move around without getting near others, even when there are only 3 customers other than myself.

This is one of the best hidden gems of the Westside. The owner Peter is highly knowledgeable about all of the products he carries, and is always happy to answer any questions you may have from fine whiskey to wine in a box. He will even special order products for customers occasionally. This liquor store is always our number one go-to stop for any liquor needs, especially when we have questions about trying something new or searching for a specific product.

WOW. Ill NEVER set foot back in that store. Ive been in a few times, and have always been disgusted by the service, inventory, and, frankly, staff and owners attitudes, but this time really took the cake.I grabbed a 6 pack, and I was looking for a very specific wine. There was ONE employee running around working and FOUR employees just standing around. From the looks of things the male employees were trying to sleep with the female employee, which is their business, but completely inappropriate -- particularly when a customer is trying to get their attention to get some help.I should clarify -- they werent all standing around the whole time. As I continued to try to get someones attention, the man Ive been led to understand is the owner began yelling at the gentleman restocking beer. I couldnt believe the language he used -- it was discrimination, undoubtedly, not to mention rude and belittling. It explains why the people that work there are generally just as surly and incapable. I promptly put down my beer and left.No one should give their money to a store that treats their employees -- never mind their customers -- like that. On a 1 to 10 scale, Id give it a negative 1.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff one of my best liquor store experiences

This place is located behind the Walgreens in the shopping center with the Chase ATM in the center. It is rather small inside but the selection is rather large, especially the beer selection. Im a fan of dark, strong, malty beer. With two other six-packs in hand, I was struggling to pull down a six of TommyKnocker Nut Brown Imperial Ale, one of my all-time favorites, when the rather tall manager, Peter, helps keep the fridge door open and takes my other two sixes. He sees my selections and offers that he too loves the same type of beers. He points me to a couple of others, one of which (Einstock Icelandic Wee Heavy) contains 8% alcohol noting that its almost like getting two for one. I like this guy. He thinks like me.My next visit he sees I have three sixes and a four-pack of an exotic called Cinnamon Roll. Hes excited at my choices so he gives me a single can of Gunny that he compares to 1554 which I find to be a light beer in disguise, but the Gunny was robust and loaded with malty flavors. Peter also gave me a case price - buying four separate packs. I dont know what the discount was but Ill take it.I love getting personal attention in a place where they know your taste. This has become my favorite place to buy beer. The choices are not quite as good as Cheers but, beck, its one-sixth the size, if that. I cant speak to the wine or liquor selections but they do have a load of small bottles if thats your thing.

Peter and his wife are two of the most helpful local experts on wine and high-end scotches and Whiskeys in the area. With an exceptional knowledge base and contacts in distribution that allow them access to rare and limited bottles, they are always able to fullfill special requests at unheard of prices. Peter is willing to educate customer and explain the differences between products. What I appreciate most is that they never try to upsell you or get you to spend as much as they can - Ive often had Peter recommend less expensive labels that are as good or better than the more pricy options. Peter is also willing to strategically place special orders to take advantage of sales and deals - if your patient enough to order with flexibility.
