Surprisingly some of the best prices in the city accompanied by very friendly and sociable staff who know their store. I definitely make this my go to when I need something close to home and cheap. If you want an extremely wide selection, they may still have what you’re looking for but I’d recommend the strange brands be sought elsewhere. With that being said, I’ve never failed to find what I’m looking for unless it’s a craft or one off item. Highly recommend visiting.

There was an older gentleman who would it in the store and watch you as you made your selection. I suspect that this was the owner or someone related to the owner. I believe there are good intentions here but it was odd and uncomfortable. That staff is very nice but the selection is a little low relative to other stores in the region. I generally went to this store due to its location but being watched was enough to make other decision.

I didnt go here yesterday.. and I havent gone here ina while. But I know that its a nice liquor store. And the staff that works there has always been very friendly and accommodating.

This is a small store that has everything. I like the chocolate bombs in the fridge near the register. One day the manager suggested something else thats chocolate and I love it. Clean store great service.

Absolutely disgusted by the register employee. He was on the phone (no mask), yelling at a customer service rep and calling her an fing b. It was uncomfortable to say the least. As we were leaving because we refused to spend our money there, he turned the volume on his stereo to max. We went up to the liquor store by Safeway where they were polite, wore masks, and said they had had a complaint TODAY about the same store/staff. I was much happier spending $50 on a nice bottle of champagne at a store where I felt safe.

This place is invincible to disease. There is a magic portal at the entrance that completely sanitizes anyone who enters and the employees have achieved immunity and immortality through their good works. None of the recommended health protocols are necessary here due to the stores status as a designated special establishment. The one downside is it is tough to get to, given the masses making pilgrimage to bathe in its curative powers. If you are at-risk, or you have at-risk family members, this is the place for you. The new slogan is awesome, too -- Dont worry, Grandma. Im going to Mountain Shadows Liquor.

Lots of local brews. Good staff too. And, they always have the greatest music playing on the radio. I told them that once and they thought it was great. If you go, you should mention it to them at the counter. (If YOU Ike that style of music..). It made their day when I mentioned it. Love these guys. Lots of CO brews and a well organized wine section. This is NOT a big box store tho, if thats what you want....

Service and staff is awesome

The clerk at the register is very rude and hateful, it started about the time of the robbery and has gotten worse in the last year. If you had asked about the robbery at that time he was very nasty about it. The only time he shows any type of customer service skills is when the owner seems to be in the store and this clerk will crack a smile but roll his eyes As if he’s mocking the owners presence. COVID made his horrible personality even worse, in the past several weeks you can guess, all of the rioting and destructive behaviors of this nation has put the icing on the cake at Mountain Shadows Liquor, I will drive south to Cheers before I go back in that store to buy liquor.

This is a nice place with a really good, broad, selection. Sometimes the staff can seem pretty unhelpful or disinterested, but they are never rude in any way, very friendly people. I stop here if I cant find something at my normally preferred location and its always been a success.

Great liquor store, well stocked and a very knowledgeable staff. The store itself is small, but it doesnt sacrifice on quality beer, wine, and spirits. We usually buy 18 packs of 16oz Coors. When my palette is craving for a microbrew or international beverage I have always found something. Whether it is an old favorite or not tried before.

Convenient location for Mountain Shadows, Oak Valley, and Peregrine. Decent selection. Ive honestly never asked for something like advice on picking a great wine to go with dinner so I cant comment on that. There are other stores with a wider selection of microbrews and imported beers but they are across town. This is a good place.

So for the most part, every booze store around here is the same. The reason I am even taking the time to review this place is because of my man, Curtis. I may have spelled his name incorrectly, but he has been here for as long as I have been in the area. He is one of the most genuine, helpful, and friendly people I have ever met. If he isn’t making at least $20 hourly to run this store, he should be. I know for a fact that he is the reason I, and many other customers, keep coming back. Give this man a bonus, a raise, an award, a raise, a raise. Much love.
