This is the best selection around, especially if you are a bourbon fan. They also have a surprisingly varied beer and wine selection for a small local place. Usually, the trade off for this much selection is a heavy markup, but the prices are very fair--you simply have a lot more range from table quality on up to premium top-shelf to choose from.In addition, every time I have been there, the store staff seeks me out to make sure that I am finding what I want and offer advice.This is a genuinely exceptional liquor store, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Definitely my favorite store in Colorado Springs. They have an amazing breadth of selection, and at very competitive prices. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, even within an hour of closing on a Friday. I expect Ill be returning very soon.

Love this place. They always have a great selection of everything (I frequent the Scotch section). Staff is always quick with recommendations and not just pushing certain breweries or distilleries. Go here then hit Sprouts so you can feel healthy haha

Was there over Christmas from Illinois. Great selection of Bourbon, gentleman working that night suggested the Woody Creek, didnt open it until I got home. Fantastic, should have purchased an extra bottle. Thanks, cant wait for my next trip out, Ill be sure to stop by.

Its been over a year since Freedom liquor opened and I stand by my original 5 Star review. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I can ask my wife to pick up a 6 pack and they will also help her (non-beer drinker) find something fresh & tasty. My Go-To cooler is always the New Releases but when I feel like something on the rare side or strong Freedom has me covered. Plus they carry Leffe Blonde my favorite import of all time. My only complaint is that there isnt enough chilled white wine selections to keep the wife guessing (who has time to chill down a bottle when you want to drink with your girlfriends tonight?)

Highly Recommend!!!I love this liquor store! It is a small gem. They have an amazing inventory, great customer service, fair prices, and an all-star staff. I originally went here because it was the closest to our home. Well we recently moved to an entirely new area of town and I still go here for all my beer and liquor needs. Another huge plus is that they are veteran owned. I always support a veteran business when I can. Special shout out to Rory and Vic who have never steered me wrong on their suggestions and always greet me with a smile! You guys rock!

The only liquor store I will go to anymore. Truly the nicest and most energetic staff. Many liquor stores are pushy and almost snobbish but you could go here and buy Milwaukee’s Best and they treat you like you’re the most important person they’ve seen all day. Thanks Freedom. They have the best of the best diversity in selection of liquors and wines. Not a ton of square footage, but at this point, Im sure theyre to open a second location in the coming years. Theyre slightly higher in price, but being open at extra hours, having products you CANT find elsewhere, and no bull cr@p when you ask questions, rare as they may be. Good people, good drink, and good location.

As a drinking man displaced by military service from the grittiness of the American Northeast to the intrigue that is Colorado Springs, I’ve had an interesting relationship with the local liquor stores. Some I would describe as seedy, others look down their nose at you from their glass of locally brewed hibiscus barley wine when you’ve had a Coors light and Evan Williams kind of week. Freedom liquor nails it, they’ll recommend a new mid shelf bourbon to try but let you know when your favorite mass produced domestic beer pong beer is on sale. To that I say, Cheers gentlemen.

The lady behind counter was awesome and friendly and the guy the was stocking shelves was super cool and helpful... Luckily we knew what we needed but im sure if we had any questions they would have helped us!

Selection is good. Lots of local ciders and spirits. Staff is knowledgeable and very helpful in making selections. Wes turned me onto my new favorite Irish whiskey.

Apparently this company only wants people to shop here if you are willing to spend lots of money here. My husband and I have been shopping here for beer and liquor since their opening weekend and before today I had no complaints. I may not spend thousands of dollars towards liquor but we do regularly stop into this location. Not once have we been told about a loyalty rewards program. My husband and I this year have really been enjoying trying new bourbons and have been on the hunt for a bottle of Blantons. Earlier this week I was in asking if they had any and the guy working said no and told me to check back because they get them in but they go quick. Today I go in and the same guy tells me yes they have a couple bottles but their owner says that they can only sell them to their elite customers who shop a lot in there and are part of their rewards program. I have been trying to find a bottle of this for quite sometime now, in order to give to my husband as a gift. Im so disappointed in the customer service here. I explained my situation and that I have been looking for a long time for this bottle and their employee could care less. They said they are trying to keep it fair because so many people look for this type of bourbon. What would be fair is if someone comes in asking for it and are willing to pay then sell it to them if they have it in stock!! I will take my business elsewhere and will no longer shop here or their sister liquor stores within Colorado Springs. Never have I felt like my money wasnt good enough for a company until today.

A must visit! Very clean and stylish inside. They have an excellent selection and even better customer service. They were doing a tasting the first time we stopped in and I got to try something I never would have otherwise. Because of that, I found something I love - Anna Purna Mead! My absolute go to store for bourbon now. I used to go downtown until i stumbled across Freedom. They have the best staff that is friendly and knowledgeable as well as a great selection of bourbon (That they sell at retail, and not hiked up!). I love being able to go down there and talk staff about upcoming releases and hard to find Whisk(e)ys. I would absolutely recommend this place especially having dealt with some of the bigger name liquor stores dealing in bourbon in the Springs.

This place has by far an impressive whiskey selection with great pricing. Very structured with a neat appearance gives you the comfort of being in a place that takes pride in their products. If you happen to pop in ask for Vic. Hes a really nice guy with lots of knowledge. Cheers!

Great little liquor store in an easy to get to shopping center. Products are literally stacked to the ceiling. The shelves are really high, you can see the top shelf items, but you will need help to get an item. They have a great selection of beer, wine and liquor; their bourbon and scotch variety is super. Make a trip to their store, talk with the owners, you will be glad you did.

Great, they have a wide array of liquors to choose from. If you are looking for Scotch they have one of the best varieties in town. Workers are extremely pleasant and willing to help you find whatever youre looking for. They are also good for a little chat.

This is my favorite place. The atmosphere is warm, everyone there is helpful and fun, and they have an endless selection of constantly evolving drinks. Highly recommend.

We went to visit family for Thanksgiving and stopped at this place to pick up some necessities. It’s the nicest liquor store I’ve been in! Everyone was so nice and helpful, the selection was great and it was easy to find what you were looking for. I wish we had a place like this near our house I Calli!

Just stopped in here to see what types of mead they carried. Alongside my favorite, I was pleasantly surprised to find some less common items I hadnt tried. Browsed the rest of the store and they have a great selection across all the spirit types. Lots of whiskey options, in particular, that Ill have to make a return trip to expand my cabinet.Everyone I interacted with was very helpful and friendly. Looking forward to returning. An absolute gem of an establishment! One of the most creative and thought out layouts of any liquor store Ive seen or been into here in Colorado Springs and its surrounding area, bar none. The owners & the staff here are truly one of a kind and offer up help at every turn every time Im in, true customer service at its finest youll find it here.There whiskey wall is astounding and seems to grow with each visit. Ill say to, they carry one of the best beer selections in the Springs and everything is categorized by style. If you havent checked this place out yet, do yourself a favor and stop in. Love this liquor store. I waited long for this place to finally open and it was worth it. Great selection of bottles and wines for good prices compared to other places. What i like the most about this place its the athmosphere and customer service. You are always greeted and given an insight about drinks by the employers. If you ever meet Jeremy, he is the best. He can give you imsights on various selections and makes great conversation with you. I love going here often.

Gosh I wanted to love this liquor store. It’s really close to my house and offer a great selection. I’ll admit they are a bit pricy but customer service goes a long way in my book. So, let me get to the problem I have. I started coming here opening weekend and I had been visiting about once a week to pick up beer or Tito’s. My first time in I had a great conversation with the owner and felt like it was going to be a great place to become a “regular”. But after that first time, it changed. The same guy seemed to be there every time and you’d think after a few visits he’d at least recognize me. “Hey, hows it going? How did you like that blah blah blah you bought last time?” Nope. Ugh, I know that may not be a big deal to some people but it is to me. If I’ve been going in weekly for a few months and the same guy waits on me, make an effort! I even tried to jog his memory of me but apparently I’m that forgettable 🙄. I’ve tried going back again but, ugh, it’s just not working out. I’d rather go to J&K or Veterans where they make an effort to know me. And the sad thing is they are “affiliated” with Veterans! I wouldn’t mind paying the higher prices for better service.

I came in for the first time about a week ago, I loved the lay out and the whiskey stock is the best I have seen, organization beats Tuscany Liquor all day I will be a regular customer now.

Stopped into this place for the first time last night with my husband. I left my purse in the car because so many places nowadays wont let you bring them in. My husband had his wallet on him, so I figured everything would be fine. After making our selection we go to the front to pay, my husband carrying the six-pack and setting it on the counter, and the guy behind the counter checks his ID. Of course, thats expected. The guy then proceeds to ask me for my ID. I told him I left it in the car and he points with his thumb at the door and says, Colorado law. I looked at him in shock for a second and walked out. Ive never been kicked out of a store for not having an ID when I was not the one making the purchase. It is not Colorado law that you must have an ID with you to be in a liquor store. It is law to have an idea if youre making a purchase, which I was not. If their store policy is that everyone who enters the store must have an ID, regardless if they are the one making the purchase, then they should post that and check you at the door when you walk in, not let you walk around the store for 10 minutes and then kick you out.
