Paul runs a phenomenal training course. I cant really imagine that you can find a better course, especially for the money. He focuses so much on keeping people safe and ensures that his students end up more knowledgeable, skilled, and precise than when they start. If you want to learn to handle and operate a firearm and do it well, take this course. If you have taken a beginners course elsewhere, you should still take his course. It is a rigorous training and hours are long but you wont regret it. Hes got me as a loyal student and customer.

Before going to Paradise Sales I went to a gunsmith to help me with my scope rings. I got screwed over big time. So I took my rifle to Paradise Sales so they could help me with my scope rings. Not only did they make me feel beyond welcomed with customer service, they are on point with the knowledge of guns. My new scope rings, that the even replaced, have my scope looking excellent. I had the barrel of my 9mm rifle threaded here at this shop. I am very pleased with their work. Pricing was way below what I expected to pay.The selection of firearms at this particular shop is phenomenal. Not only in quantity but in variety. There are tons of rifles old and new. If you cant find a rifle you have to have, theres something wrong with you. I highly recommend stopping by to check the place out. You wont be disappointed. The owner knows a thing or two about firearms. You can learn a lot from him in a short period of time. Its like the Disneyland of gun shops. By Far the best experience Ive had in any firearms store. Great informative staff w/out the normal jerky Type A personality Ive found in so many local stores. And they are very involved in the community helping to protect our rights. Enjoyed it so much I took their 26hr NRA Basic handgun course. By the end of it I was shooting 2x better and consistent than I did my last time at the range. Not only that I walked away w/ a deeper understanding of our rights as responsible gun owners, a zeal to become involved and a certificate to get a concealed carry permit. Well worth the money and time invested. I highly recommend it to anyone interested. If youre even slightly interested I recommend you go into the store and ask about what the class has to offer. My wife and I took Pauls Concealed Carry Course. Its a very detailed, rigorous, educational class. Plus, on the last day, you go to the range and get to shoot dozens of guns, including several you couldnt normally buy. Highly recommend.

My favorite firearms store in Colorado springs. They sell both new and used firearms. This shop isnt just you typical gun store. They offer some great firearms training courses. Also they are more like mom and pop store they care more about the quality of service and want to ensure the gun buyer/owner is happy vs every other gun store that just cares about the revenue they take in. Outstanding training and certification program. If you want to conceal carry a fire arm, these folks really care to teach you the ins and outs. They even bring in an lawyer to talk about the laws so you have a better understanding of the rules and laws. The in class training was top-notch, very professional and the on-range training day was a great experience with exposure to many types of guns - we got to shoot them all (if we wanted, I did). I took the basic pistol course last month and was very impressed with all the training as well as the knowledge of the instructors. I spent 21 years in the Army and having taught firearms as a Certified Army Instructor I can say that the caliber of this course is “Second to None” in total scoop. Paul’s course is great for new folks who want a solid foundation in the art of shooting a handgun; for those who have been shooting for a while take the class, you will learn and walk away a better shooter. This class is priced very fair for all the information that is taught. Paul brings in Legal help from outside the class taught by a lawyer trained in the law. Bottom line is if you plan to carry a firearm for self defense or are a current CCW invest the time to be the best and don’t settle for less in your training.

The best place to get top notch firearm training. I have taken many firearms courses over the years, both military and civilian, with none more comprehensive and detailed as the ones that Paradise Sales provides. My wife, 13 yo daughter and I just took the Basic Firearms Training Course, my wife and daughter for the first time and me for the third time. My wife and daughter had never fired a firearm before and came away from this course with the confidence and experience to safely handle and fire a firearm. Also in depth coaching techniques, with a one-on-one student to instructor ratio, gave all of us invaluable instruction at the firing range with our personal firearms. The level of instruction is so valuable that no other firearms training that I have had compares. The certificate that is well earned by the student and well taught by the numerous instructors during this course is one of the few that is honored by the El Paso County Sheriffs Office to obtain a Concealed Carry License. I highly recommend this course to anyone that owns a firearm, in fact the entire family should attend if you have a firearm in your home to teach the safe handling and ability to employ the firearm in defense of your familys safety. Paradise Sales also provides advanced training for protecting your family inside and outside the home. I took the advanced inside the home training and feel confident that I could employ my firearm safely to defend my home in the case of a home invasion.

They did a great job re-bluing my old Savage 99 and have always provided good advice. After I did a complete tear down on my 1911 I made a mistake on reassembly that I couldnt figure out on my own. I took it to another gunshop in town and they wanted to ship it out to an off-site gunsmith and charge me a fee just to look at it. I stopped by Paradise on a whim and showed it to the the guy behind the counter, who spotted my mistake in 30 seconds, stripped the gun, reassembled it correctly and handed it back with no charge. They also have the best selection of used guns.

Love the place. Purchased a used carbine at a fair price and Paul put in two boxes of ammo for grins. This store reminds me of stores long gone that I would visit with my dad, the smell of smoke, people talking and laughing and you may catch some fibbing about last years hunting season. Paul at Paradise Guns and Ammo is the real deal. He is a firm believer in safety first and also wants to see folks get the right equipment for the right person. In that sense he is not pushy. He is direct in his opinion and is very knowledgable on the subject. The monthly pistol safety course is a very good course for the money, with a cadre of dedicated volunteers who believe as Paul does. Well worth it. The prices on guns and ammo are reasonable. The only reason I didnt give 5 starts is that I would like to see the store cleaner, more organized and free of cigarette smoke. If that doesnt bother you, then this is the right place to shop.

Excellent Staff, the Handgun Training Course not only fulfills the requirements for CO CCW but they teach you one on one combined with over 15 hours of instruction to make you a more effective and safe gun owners. Recommend this to any new and even experienced shooters who need a refresher. I scored a 247 out of 250 on my qualification, I can thank Paul and all the wonderful instructors at Paradise for that Achievement.

More variety of smallbore (.22) pistols than any shop Ive been in Colorado. Fair to bargain prices on used stock. Also stocks modern rifles and pistols, budget all the way to high end.Wide selection of ammunition, if you are looking for something other than the normal big box sporting ammo you may find it here.

They do have a large selection of firearms, however, their prices are pretty high, and the guy I talked too didnt seem to care if I purchased what I wanted, just wanted to make a sale. I asked if he had any used handguns and he went strait toward a used hi point that was listed at retail price and then proceeded with cheaper lower caliber guns. I simply wanted to see if I could find a deal on a used hand gun, not something cheaper. I would definitely avoid the place they are full of car salesman type people. Needless to say, I walked out, they werent getting my business.

Id go in here once a week for a month as they told me theyd have my gun belt next week. I got sick of waiting and theyre over priced and not very friendly.

This is the only place I purchase guns from. Paradise is different, the owners really care about people, safety and training. Sure they get busy, but I wont buy anywhere else. Its worth waiting for a few minutes when they are swamped.

It may look a little sketchy on the outside, but dont let that fool you. Paul is a pretty nice guy and will absolutely bend over to help you out, whether you have been shooting guns for years or have never shot one. I took the CCW class in 2015, and since then my groupings have gotten smaller and smaller. Pauls prices are very competitive with other big retail stores (i.e. Bass Pro Shop, Academy, Sportsmans etc.), and he was able to find a gun I was looking for cheaper than just about everyone else. I highly recommend that you go inside, shop around, and ask about the Concealed Carry class. The only thing you will be disappointed in is yourself for not going there sooner.

Phenomenal customer service. I have visited countless gun stores and Paradise is right up at the top with the best. They have a knowledgeable staff who care far more about putting the right gun in your hand than making a sale. The owner, Paul, has more knowledge of firearms than anyone Ive ever encountered. I am a loyal customer for many reasons and will always buy from this store.They offer an outstanding pistol course which far exceeds CHL/LTC/CHP requirements. I consider myself fairly knowledgeable about firearms but walked out of this class far more educated and a better shooter. Highly recommend this course to any shooter.

I love and basically live at this place! I bought a few long guns from this place and never looked back paul has a huge selection of old milsurps that are priced to go! There is a shop that sells C&R guns but usually20 to 30% above value so i dont really buy anything unless paul can find me one *which he has* this shop is probably the best place for new, used, antique guns and lots of ammo! I also took the ccw course and for a 20 year old who never shot pistols before i was amazed to see i qualified with 249 out of 250! Over all the best place I have found!

I went in to buy a home defense gun & walked in and then immediately walked out. The owner smokes cigarettes inside his place of business. So me and my child left. I find that to be completely unprofessional & not family friendly.

I bought 7.62x39 ammo from them about 2 months ago at 80 rounds for a little over $20. Went in today and he tried to charge me 18 DOLLARS a box of 40.

I traded a rifle two weeks ago. William was very polite and gave me a good trade. They had to special order the shotgun I traded for and William warned me that it would take a while to get in since they do multiple orders at once to reduce shipping. I completely understand this, whereas they are a smaller store and order from their retailer. Two weeks later, and a couple calls later, and the shotgun still hasnt arrived. Im trying to take it duck hunting this weekend. Each call I make, they tell me a later date. I am overall pleased with the personnel and if you can wait a while for what you order I recommend this place. However, I wont have my new shotgun for this upcoming hunting trip and I was assured I would have it before this weekend. I will probably give it another star or two if the shotgun at least comes in tomorrow or I atleast recieve a call from them to inform me of the status opposed to me calling them.**** I just recieved the shotgun. Shipping was backed up due to the holidays. Updated to 4 stars....*******

Had them ship a gun to another FFL. After I paid the $74 it took a month, four trips, and five phone calls to get it there. When I first dropped it off (after calling) the kid working the counter had little clue what was going on. I paid and gave them the gun and my info. He forgot to get a copy of my DL so I had to go back so they could copy that. Weeks past and I still hadnt heard anything so I went back and they told be their fax doesnt work all the time and maybe thats why they hadnt received the FFL from the receiver. No call to me to inform me of this. So I got their email and fax number and had to contact the receiver myself (supposed to be included in the $74). They them told me they would email me the tracking info once it left but they didnt claiming they had put @yahoo instead of @gmail like I wrote down.Once it finally got there they forgot to include the correct paperwork and there was an additional wait until the other party could pick it up. I had to yet again resolve this problems myself. They lack the professionalism to be labeled a business and I will not recommend anyone go here.

Orders a shotgun part it took over a month to ge in then they said they calld me and dident went to get the part and they had lost it so I calld back a week later still no part this went on for 4 months 4 months then I hade talky to some one that knew the guy and went in there with him and the guy just wen in the back and grab the part in less than a minet.and there is one sales men in there that is a pompous ass and cant shut up.trys to tell you wut u need despite wut your looking for
