A really interesting experience, a lot of usual and unique items on the shelf. Prices are reasonable and fair compared to similar stores. Items stocked regularly. Staff was attentive, helpful, and friendly. Already looking forward to my next visit.

Im giving two stars because the cashier girl was strange acting but still friendly and helpful. That being said, this store is a hole in the wall with barely any products. When we went they literally had no meat left except these two huge blocks of frozen chicken, and very little produce. They also wanted 7.99 for a block of cheese ((that is for sure not a savings.)) The pictures they show you are nothing like the store, and the reality is the place is pretty much empty and looks like its about to shut down. Colorado springs is a very sad city its like this almost everywhere now.

Great prices on canned goods. I like the 99c Pepperidge Farms breads and buns. I dont get a lot of chips, crackers or stuff that gets stale easily. Just check dates. Not too bad if it says best if used by_____. Frozen hamburger packs are good.

Good prices, some unusual food. I guess they get the stuff that the big chains dont keep in stock for long if at all. Tasty food like hamburger flavoured crisps (potatoes chips in American parlance. Wish theyd stock some UK & Mexico products too.Some cool couscous flavors, and biscuits (cookies). They accept the ebt card. If your poor you can get fancier foods at a big discount here. Not the place for much meats & veggies. Mostly canned, boxed, bagged goodies.Owner was helpful and let me know when my favourites would be back in. She was accommodating to handicapped folk like me. The dont stock in the depth of big stores but its nice to get some tasty treats I never see at the big box stores.

Every visit is a new experience. The staff was friendly and helpful and the shelves were neatly stocked. And the savings!! Amazing.

Cheapies prices are a little high considering at least 90% of the items are outdated. Pay attention to the expiration dates, most grocery items are ok for one year past exp date. pro tip: never buy outdated microwave popcorn.

I found this place and thought this is such a great place to shop. There are 8 people in our house so saving $ on groceries is plus. I have only shopped here twice and each time I have bought expired food.The bread I bough this last week was more then 2 weeks expired. I also bought some individual ranch dressings for on the go. I just bought this on friday and opened it up today and it had already had a Best Used Date of July 9, 2020. I love my family and I can see going a few days but not weeks of even 6 months . I will not shop here again! Yes I want to save $ but I nor my family is going to get sick trying to save a few $s. CHECK THE EXPIRATION LABEL BEFORE YOU BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Google posted that the store was open from 9am-6pm I got here at 9:30, and the only cashier is making me wait in my car for 20 minutes so she can eat her Chick-fil-a before she lets me come in!! Outrageous!!!! Horrible customer service!!!!!

Everything is 3-5 years old and at regular price as other stores.... I dont see why you would ever ever shop here. Unless you have a craving for 3-5 year old food. Lol. What a joke of a store.

And I pigged out when I got home because it didnt taste any different - sometimes discount items taste like theyve been degrading for ten years but that definitely didnt happen here. Same stuff I normally buy, tasted the same, and I paid a fraction of the price. So incredibly excited. Plus, I was told by the owner, Michelle, if it ever does taste funny, they will take care of it, just let them know. How often do you find a store like that in America? Hmm, this will be my first. So grateful! Plus they had a ton of European chocolate today! Some with booze in it! I could go on, but Ive ranted enough, Im super stoked about this place and you should try it. Oh, and they have a rewards program.

Very rude staff was there for less then five minutes and they accused my pearent of stealing buns. All because it was cold outside and had a coat. No apology at all. Didnt accuse anyone else. So we put the stuff in our basket back and just left. Guess staff can acuse people of stealing that the saw come in and stayed in sight. All shopper if you are brown or wear a coat beware that this could happen to you. I would record what you are doing so they cant do this to you. And to the worker who acused my pearent learn to wear a mask and what social distancing and to apologize when you are wrong. This Is Not Ok To Do This To People.

It changes every time I go in. The owners Michele & David are helpful and friendly along with their staff. If you have not been in I suggest that you visit them soon. What an awesome store!!

Always seeing great deals on Facebook!!!I was so excited to finally get the chance to stop by....Wont do so again.I was aware that there would be out of date/dented things...but a year out of date, 3-4 week old bread, brands i had never heard of, prices higher then the grocery stores, you would be lucky to put together a complete meal with the randomness of things set everywhere in the store, wasnt the cleanest either.If your on a budget...hit up the $1 store, shop around for deals, even walmart/Sprouts have better prices for fresh foods.

The clerk here flat out awesome...great customer service...a regular came in and didnt enough to pay he took a dollar out of his own pocket and paid her extra. Great guy.

Not good unless you really cant afford food. 3 week old buns and bread for .25 cents. If you spent 25.00 you got a gallon of milk for 1.00. Most of the food was the same price as a regular grocery store, but here outdated. I went through the whole store in 15 mns and did buy anything. But, it is a good place to get somethings if you really needed it like the buns for .25 cents.

I have been seeing lately that there are some prices are the same as or higher than the other retail grocery stores. I think it deserves a serious look at by the mgt. Perhaps being proactive in doing some comparisons would help. Cheapies is becoming not so cheap.

Different items different days is the only issue there could be depending on how much you depend on a store always having the same items all the time. Second time there this evening spent $108 on what would have easily been $300 - $350 at King Soopers! Cheapies always has something Ill buy. They carry expired foods, but also produce and overstocks, as well as toiletries and sundry office supplies.They often have breads at great prices. The staff are friendly and the store expanded to carry even more items.Theyve got a reward system, too, so you can save even more on groceries.

A very long market with very fresh fruits and vegetables, although there is a lot competition in the area, none come close to this place as big as it is with how much they carry they are very organized and very fair priced. But you must be diligent in picking your fruit as they leave them out for a long period of time so that some might start turning bad. Best time or rather the easiest time to shop would probably be early in the morning. Before 6 AM. Every thing is put out nicely and its very quiet you dont have to push through anyone to get to something.

Very neat and orderly, and larger than I expected. Better organized than other discount food stores in the area, but the discounts arent quick as deep. Best deals seems to be the meats. Follow them on facebook to get notified of what they have.

Wonderful place to save some hard earned money on groceries. Selections are always changing so check out their Facebook page to see whats new. Theyve got canned goods and dry goods (pasta, crackers candy...), but also Pepperridge farm bread & buns and other baked goods, fresh fruits and vegetables, and frozen meats, pizzas, veggies and meals. Theyve also got cleaning supplies and toiletries. Its a hit miss if youre looking for something specific, but if you just want dinner tonight and something to fix later in the week, theyll hook you up.

Let me start off and say that the owner is wonderful! I came for just lemons, and ended up buying much more items because they were just such great priced. The staff is very friendly when it comes to any type of help. I just moved here recently and met her today, I will continue to shop here and I highly recommend everyone to shop here and get such amazing deals and customer service!!!!

Occasionally some stuff is past the expiration date but mostly it perfectly good stuff just other stores need to clear shelves.I like being able to use this place to try expensive brands or niche items to see if it would be worth full price at another store.Am I willing to spend $2 to try acai powder something or other, sure. $10.99 somewhere else, eh.The deal they had recently on grass fed beef jalapeno and cheese sausages were awesome! Think it was 2.99 or 1.99 a pack versus 6.99 at whole foods.

This little gem is truly awesome! They bring back the general store feeling while keeping a larger city store selection. I would give it 4 stars if the prices dropped just a bit on some items. It could also stand to have a great organizer for the shelving and placement of items. Small and simple grocery store. Selection is similar to most dollar stores but with more brand name items at deep discounts from other stores. Also there are a few organic choices (I think I saw around 15 items). Fresh vegetable selection but no fresh meat.

It may not have everything in store as you thought it would be but the quality of price isnt that bad. Some times they have discounts and buy 1 get 1 free coupon. It save money enough for week or two of decent meal.

Great deals, bring your product knowledge. They often have fantastic deals on fresh produce and non-perishable goods. They make their bones selling shelf pulls - items that are close or over their sell by dates. Some items dont degrade much but some do - a little homework nets you great deals.

Mixed feelings. There are some great prices and then there are items that are at or above sale prices at a regular grocery store chain. The majority of the items are past their good through date. For many items the good through date is rather arbitrary, just a date required by the federal government for all items for human consumption. Water, dried beans, rice, sugar really dont spoil. However nuts and oils can go rancid, acid canned items can start to break down the lining inside the cans, spices lose their flavor, etc. Choose your products wisely.

This store is very clean and the owner is very kind. She walked me through the store and told me all about it. The shelves are stocked with things that I usually dont buy at the store as they are too expensive. The produce was beautiful and priced amazingly low. My husband and I cant wait to go back and stock up!
