If you are in Old Colorado Springs this is definitely a necessary stop. Its right across from a public park and right around the corner from the main street. It doesnt just have coffee and has a lot of other treats and food for you to enjoy. I absolutely loved the vibe. All walks of life and there was inside and outside sitting/eating areas. I had the caramel delight hot and my daughter had the dark sea iced. Both were delicious. It would highly recommend and would go again!

First time come to Co, first time come to Colorado Springs, first time come to Jives Coffee. The food is perfect, the coffee is delicious, the owners have a very welcoming friendly personality. He even brought a surprise desert to us, how nice he is! This surprised desert definitely made my day. One more thing, you can bring you Dog with you sit outside to enjoy your coffee.

I ordered #11 breakfast crossaint. It was delicious and under $7.Nice atmosphere. It was packed on Saturday morning with Farmers Market patrons, but still had fast service.They have live bands here as well.Recommend!

Friendliest staff ever have been around, got to meet Dorad and Randy, owners. Food was fantastic, made us salads not on the menu but to satisfy a gluten-free condition.

The new ownership/management is absolutely fantastic! I’ve not been in a few years, and today for breakfast was an absolute treat. The owner was friendly and invited us to sit inside when the weather started to turn (even though we had our dog with us.) He was kind to us, and kind to our dog. The americanos and chai latte were fantastic and the breakfast sandwiches were completely delicious. The best part is the service and atmosphere though. Come here!

Absolutely amazing! The two people working were so kind, and very warm. The croissant sandwiches are delightful and definitely worth the 8.80!! Drinks are good warm or iced, and the vibe is so chill, a very beautiful outdoor area as well! They even brought us out free dessert and it so amazing!! Seriously amazing, warm brownies with whipped cream and cinnamon!

Theyre a great place to hang out in a group or alone. Great coffee thats a blend of various coffees (Ive been told but havent confirmed). Personally, whoever does it has a fantastic sense of the nuances of coffee flavors, so if youre a black coffee drinker like myself youll love it! They even sell these blends and they are worth it! They are a friendly business that actually cares about you. If you become a regular and talk to them, they will start asking you how your life is. Its genuine and not just being friendly. That speaks volumes to the quality of people running this place. They have heart and it shows! 5 out of 5 stars every time!

Great first experience for sure. The place has a nice atmosphere, a solid menu, great location, and the customer service was excellent and the co-owner was incredibly friendly. The coffee was very good, the mulled wine was a great way to start a Saturday, and the breakfast sandwiches were tasty. Well probably become regulars here.

This is a repeat stop of mine and my wifes. The ambiance is nice and its typically very quiet here. The owners are typically the ones up front. They go the extra mile for pretty much anything. Want a pastry heated up? No problem, theyll just add a little caramel drizzle, powdered sugar, and whipped cream to the side. No big deal. Want a tasty warm drink? Literally order anything off the menu and it wont disappoint. I really enjoy supporting small businesses and thats why Ill go here over any chain. The service, the detail, and the quality are all there. Id definitely recommend Jives to anybody.

Nostalgia, cozy, and warm people and atmosphere. This is my new place to meet up or bring selected out-of-towners to this place. It says Old Colorado City and it feels it, too. The food is great and well worth the wait.The coffee is just right, and coupled with the experience, makes me want to live here in the lounge and never go home.Youre just across the street from the park, the library and downtown shopping.(The typewriter is fully functional. You just need your own typewriter eraser and paper, if you want to re-live the past :)

The best!! My family and I came across Jives by luck as we were walking around and looking for a place to grab a bite to eat. Not only are their in-house coffee beverages and other drinks delicious, their sandwiches, croissants, and paninis are amazing! Also, the interior space is so adorable! Its beautifully decorated and there are board games, and a stage for live music. Id love to come back and see a performance sometime! Definitely stop by if you are in town!!

Im usually just getting a coffee here, which is quite good. The one time I ate a breakfast, I forget what it was, but I recall it being quite good. One of the best things about this place is the vibe, which is kind of eclectic, kind of cool. Lots of seating, both indoors and out.

AMAZING!!!! The people are so incredibly sweet, and we bonded over our love of international travel. I wish we lived here so that we could be regulars.

Child and dog friendly which were big plus for me! Definitely adding it to the weekly routine! Comfortable park across the street and very clean!

I spent a month in Colorado Springs and this was hands down the best coffee shop in town. Well over a 25 minute drive from my stay, well worth it! Plenty of outdoors and indoor seating and a pretty cool interior. But the best things was... the Black Sea (mocha, caramel, Mediterranean sea salt).... so good. Missing it already! and its close to Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods.

This place is great. The food, staff, ambiance, and location are all five stars for me. I love that its tucked off Colorado Ave. That made it easy to park and didnt have to worry about bumping into someone as you walk out the door. The staff was super friendly and made some killer breakfast sandwiches and smoothies. You can see the history here and I will absolutely be back.

A super cute shop in the middle of town. Theres a lovely horse from a carousel to greet you as you enter. The coffee was delicious and hot, and the sandwiches were tasty. The owners are a charming couple from Croatia and seem very community oriented.

The food was so good that my 5 year old son ate it, hes the pickiest eater Ive ever met. Also they came out with a surprise dessert that we did not order, great customer service, makes you feel luxurious, and all this plus a table for chess!!! Amazing!

Nice vibe, nice owner, expensive food, small servings, super busy. The owner is a delight, he flirts with all his lady customers. The small portion sizes on food was a huge disappointment. I paid $12 for a tiny sandwich with some stuff on it. And given the elevated hipster vibe, I was disappointed that I received Cheetos as a side to my sandwich. Honestly what even 😂. I felt really ripped off. I get it’s a party town, but holy crow. Won’t be eating here again.

Found this place by accident due to road construction on I-25 South. This is a gem that offers great coffee and pastry. It is a quite place to stop and relax when traveling.

I can’t recommend Jives enough. The Open Mic nights and concerts are wonderful. The flavored lattes are amazing (Black Sea is my favorite) and the staff is so kind. I used to be here every day in the summertime and it felt like a second home. Their goal is to be a blessing in people’s lives and they absolutely succeed at that. They’re my go to coffee spot in Springs.

Solid food options, plenty of choices for delicious coffee drinks. Indoor and outdoor seating, with a stage full of instruments.The owners are super sweet, they even let us sit inside with our dog on a hot, sunny day.Would return for food, coffee, and a space to work on the computer any day!

My husband and I have been here several times. We both agree it is the Best we have ever had no matter what we order. The owner and employees make everything with love. The decor and atmosphere is wonderful. We recommend everyone should go at least once and you will be hooked.

Called ahead to order 2 bacon egg & cheeses and the woman on the phone was a bit rude. I am from out of town and wanted to just pick up the sandwiches given that I have an 8hr drive ahead of me and the lady on the phone said “you can just come in and order it there’s no one in here” after I already ordered it and after she said she’ll have it ready for me. I’m just so confused. If they don’t want to take over the phone orders then they could have just said that and I would have chosen an alternative place. The icing on the cake is that when I opened the box when I got to the car there was ham, egg & cheese on both sandwiches. Idk if they did that to mess with me or if they didn’t hear me when I said “bacon, egg & cheese”. Saw the reviews and thought I’d give it a try but I regret my decision.

Located in the the heart of Old Colorado City Jives Coffee has a cozy atmosphere with friendly staff and yummy snacks. Sometimes weve experienced, more often than not, its short-staffed which results in slower service, long lines for coffee and other sale items. Its well worth the wait!

If you are looking for a quaint, artistic cafe with life music, exceptional service and great cappuccino and pastries this is the place to visit. Seated in Old Colorado City alongside art stores and store fronts that reminded me of sections of New York. My son and I really enjoyed it.

We were going to try a new coffee shop each day of our trip. Starting with these lovely folks ruined it! We came back every chance we had, never trying another shop! They’re such friendly people with EVERY interaction in our group (we were anywhere from 6-12 people a visit).

First and foremost, THANK YOU for amazing customer service. This was our second time stopping by here during our stay in Colorado Springs. We will be back for a third time tomorrow before we leave. The BEST coffee and breakfast bagels. The atmosphere is exactly what youd want at a coffee shop to sit back and relax. All in all, 5 star from my little family!

They have not stream lined their ordering and pickup process. Was in line for 10 minutes because when you order they have you wait there until theyre done making your order. Also wasnt greeted. Three people working and not one of them could take orders while the others prepared them. No social distancing, no masks in sight. When I finally got to the front to ask for my movie order i was asked to move to the side while they made my order so they could wait on everyone behind me. Why was i the only one asked to do that? Ridiculous.

I love Jives! It feels like home here. I cant wait for more live music here to start again. I love the folks who own and manage the place, they are all so welcoming and generous.
