Terrible customer service. We checked in at the #1 parking curbside pick up space, giving them plenty of time to get our order & bring it to our vehicle. No one came out so I went in. There were 2 employees surprised I was asking for my order. They had no clue anyone was waiting at the curbside pickup.They had no customers in line, so its not like they were slammed with customers.They never made any apologies, or have a nice day. Matter in fact they made me feel like I had interrupted their day, as their demeanor to me was very cold, on the verge of outright rude. They have a lot to learn about customer service, & I dont know how they will do their job when the store is busy, as this was 4:00 PM on a Wednesday, & there wasnt another customer in sight, where they were. I have never had an experience like this at Penneys, I only hope this is isolated case, as customer service is important to me.

Fast check out. The workers could show where things are when asked instead of point in a direction. Other then that no complaints about workers. The carpets could use cleaning.

I havent been to JCPENNEY in years. No reason except I havent needed to go since my wife passed away. We used to go to walk and shop.It is still very nice and a very clean venue, attached to the Citadel Mall. Lots of parking available, and not crowded inside. The store is well stocked and employees were very nice. I didnt think to take any pictures.

I have to admit.. I am beginning to understand why people are doing more shopping online. The in-person experience is lacking greatly.

I forgot how expensive JCPenney was but this was the only place that sold the pants that I wanted in town. Probably will not return. The building itself was clean and well managed but holy cow. Those prices.

JcPenney has been a go to store, for me for many years.I love their selection of clothing. I can get clothes for everyone from babies to adults, in one stop. They have a many choices, no matter your age or size. Their Junior’s division has great styles. The Big and Tall Men’s department is amazing. The Plus-sized Women’s section is wonderful! The baby clothes department is fantastic. They have terrific pajamas for all!They have a nice jewelry department.The housewares department is huge. You can find air fryers, coffee makers, instant pots, and so much more! The home decor has many tremendous choices to add fresh style to any home.The bedding department has wonderful sheets, comforters, blankets, etc.Unfortunately, like so many stores, JCPenney is suffering from a lack of sales due to online competition and it shows. The store needs more staff. One set of elevators, were not working, but no one bothered to put a sign on them. The entrance, I went in, no one shoveled the snow or spread ice melt. The way was so slippery.As I walked through the store a mother kept repeating to her son, “it is so dead in here.”If I had my way, JCPenney would be thriving. It is a great store and it provides local jobs. I recommend that you give this store a chance, especially during one of their many sales.

JCPennys has done its transitioning win to a few different name brands, keeping up with the times and theyve done q great job of not staying stagnant and providing quality clothing at affordable prices with brands such as: Nike, Levis, Champion, Puma, Fila, Polo Association, Liz Claiborne, and more.Not to mention, the store is never too crowded and the security isnt overbearing to where you cant even feel comfortable trying on a pair of shoes. Pennys gets a 5 out of 5 in my book!

A different experience then prior visits. The store had a feel of a business barely holding on. When I was younger, going to JC Penny was visiting a store with class. Yesterdays visit was disinchanting to say the least. The store was vacant and to spreadout. It had a feeling of the old and gone.

Worst experience ever! I ordered Christmas presents for my mom, sister, and friends online and requested curbside pickup. When I went to pick it up, the manager Racine couldnt find it. I went inside, and she told me I would have to talk to the manager. I knew she had lied. While I was waiting for the manager, I was looking at the mens t-shirts for my brother, and the other clerk yelled over the radio, Shes following you! IMG, I walked over to the t-shirts.Well, the result of this mess is they lost or stole my items. They said someone picked them up on December 2 and returned them, but I never did. I didnt even leave my house last week! So, no Christmas money, no Christmas presents, no way to make more money, nothing.

Excellent deals here at the mall. I enjoyed just browsing more than anything just be careful about the clearance items. Some items marked for clearance were still more expensive than Walmart for the same item. And that was with their 35-45%off

SCALED DOWN HOURS - they are only open for eight hours a day SO CHECK HOURS BEFORE GOING HERE - I was disappointed to be rushed out by 7pm but since I assumed they were open later and didnt confirm - my bad. All the workers I encountered were very friendly - not in a fake way either.

They do not value your time or experience. I had an item shipped to the store. It was the wrong size, and they couldn’t even hook me up with $10 store credit for my time and gas. I’m gonna order off the manufacturers website next time.

Meh... Stores like this are going by the wayside. Everything is usually over priced. I was never a big fan of department stores in general, but his one was depressing. It was empty. There were very few people shopping and their selection seemed lacking.

Nice things but just to pricey for me

Sometimes it is extremely disorganized. Sometimes its nice. The clearance center is here and every once in a while they have 50% off the clearance price. Be prepared to wait a while to check out, especially on days when there are more people at the mall. They took out a lot of the registers in the store.

J.c.p is really expensive however when your a cardmembers and a rewards member and its the holiday season definitely check here first for fine jewlary!!

We have used their photo services the last two years. They are always very professional and work with you to get exactly what you want.We did have a problem with our Groupon code which was not at all their fault and they still worked with us diligently to still get a great deal.Everyone is always very kind, very patient with our littles and take the time to do it right each time.Krys our photographer was really fantastic and did an absolutely superb job!

Found lot of good deals and nice selection for mens clothing. Not five stars as only 1 person at checkout and took a while to clear the line of guests.

I’m actually a little surprised that JCPenney’s is still around but it’ best suited for a conservative mall like the Citadel. Prices are not very competitive at all but the quality is impeccable and they have a to-die for shoe department! What I do enjoy are their many clearance sections scattered about the store as that’s where you’ll see some really significantly discounted prices (almost giving it away!).

The level of service and professionalism of the sales associate were impeccable! The discounts of the merchandise and variety of sizes were also greatly appreciated. The store was well organized and clean. There was no lack of being able to find someone to help us.

I love the Worthington fashion line, the blouses and skirts make up some of my nicest outfits. Pretty pastels and solids.

The Manager on June 21st 2020 at citadel mall in Colorado spring has the worst customer service skills. She repeatedly tried to tell us that the items in the home section werent able to use coupon after using the same coupon 3 days prior. She continued to argue with my wife and my self in front of our 5 year old that our item wasnt able to use coupon. Its no wonder they are going out of business with trashy employees as her. She said she was a manager but didnt have a name tag on. Never will my family shop there again.

Great old favorite store from back in the day. Good prices can be found if youre smart and shop around but beware of their sales where they mark up regular prices 40-50% and then advertise 25% off. Shop smart not fast. Great sales people too...always helpful and smiling

Isabelle was very helpful at the online order counter. I did not realize the order we placed after 3 pm would not be ready for pickup until tomorrow. We found the required item, purchased it and will return the late ordered o line order when it is ready. We were trying to make the purchase smoother by ordering online but were too late to have it pulled. Isabelle made the best of our situation.

Definitely a Ghost Town! Although I purchase online they definitely need improvement for online retail! I found a Ralph Lauren shirt $22.00 cheaper online the same shirt none the less! As empty as this store was good luck finding an associate!

Went to buy shirts but the only fitting room that was open was the womens. Thr staff said that was the only one for everyone to use. That is not acceptable

I was helped by Sydney in the jewelry department. She really made the process a pleasant experience. She was just as excited as I was to help me pick out a promise ring for my significant other and even modeled out each ring so I could get the full effect of each one. She was an amazing customer service rep. All in all i would recommend for all jewelry needs, good pricing and discounts as well.

If by chance you buy something and its not quite what you wanted you can take it back with your receipt.all that Ive ever met there are very professional and very friendly and make you feel welcome. JCP REBATES!! AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. NEVER received our rebate. Submitted online, faxed in rebate at least 10 times, called in & no human customer service rep ever answered the phone. called in another attempt after long hold, was hung up on. FINALLY after attempt #X, chatted with a human online and was informed the rebate deadline closed and nothing they could do. For this reason WILL NOT PATRON JCP.

Pretty good place to shop. Wide variety for both men and women. The only department they are lagging in, is mens shoes! They are not that sleek, and could use more popular brands.

We made an appointment for 4pm for our 7week old to take holiday pictures. They were very busy and one of the ladies informed us that it would be a 30 to 40 minute wait. We were seen at 5:30pm. Naturally my infant was upset by the time we were seen, however, we managed to get the pictures done. We selected two backgrounds to use for the photoshoot, not only did the photographer not use the backgrounds, we have pictures of the hardwood floor in the background instead. I felt as if we were rushed and the pictures came out lackluster. I am very disappointed after paying $140 for my babys first ever professional pictures that I personally could have taken better at home. I would not recommend getting any pictures taken at this location

Always pleasant, stopped at salon got my hair curled by Jaimie, shes fabulous btw then picked up my order, and also got my glasses adjusted. So got everything done in one location, makes me happy.

Really disappointed with the quality of hairdressers recently. Ive been coming to this location for 2 years now. But Ive noticed lately the people Ive been getting are less and less experienced. And the prices have gone up as well. A couple weeks ago i got one of their $28 haircuts. when I remember it used to be $21. And I know they price by rank of staff member, but the person who cut my hair obviously was not worth $28. She gave me a bowl cut and I asked her to even out my fringe/side-bangs. She just completely chopped them off. I was so unhappy with the results. I left the salon embarrassed. I definitely did not receive a quality haircut or professional hairstylist. I used to love this place because their walk-ins were always simple/available, and the people who took care of me really took care of me. They seemed like they genuinely knew what they were doing and considered my preferences. But for some reason the hairdressers Ive seen the last two times have left me with horrible looks and its going to take me months to grow my hair back to its original length. Im upset and will no longer be coming here for any further hair business.

I understand but Im still disappointed. Bought a pair of boots, wore them once and now they are coming apart on the seam. I dont have the receipt anymore therefore I cannot exchange them. I dont even want a different pair, just a pair that doesnt fall apart. You can see that my boots a brand new. So much for customer service.

Great clearance deals. People were very nice. Had a stubborn credit card chip reader but quickly moved us to a working one. Everything was much more organized than our last visit.

Its one of the few anchor stores left in the Citadel Mall. Its well-stocked but very quiet, as if awaiting customers return. Clean, but sad without shoppers. The shoe department is quite large at Penneys and Burlington, another ghost town! At Penneys, I barely ever saw a salesperson or clerk. Half of the departments are unmanned and no registers available for checking you out.

I came in right at open. Was looking for pants for my son. The mens department looked like a tornado had hit it. The docket section had stuff thrown all over the place nothing was in size order. Overall I was less than impressed with the cleanliness and organization of the mens department.

Walking through to go to another place in the mall and found some good values on clearance.
