These guys and gals are great! The mechanics get 5 stars, every time I bring my bike in they go above and beyond to provide top notch service. I can’t say enough good things about Criterium. They are the only shop I truly trust to work on my bike.

My truck broke down and needed a part that was a month on national backorder. So I broke out an old bike to get me to work in a pinch. First opportunity to drop it off was after a week of riding 10 miles each way, and lemme tell ya the difference was obvious on day one. They fixed up my bike in a hurry and charged a fair price. Excellent customer service, service dept is top notch. Extremely satisfied!

Was in Colorado Springs for vacation and was needing parts for a build. Went to a few other shops first but Criterium had what I needed. And they were super friendly. Would recommend that if you live here or are vacationing here use them.

I purchased a road bike last year and a fairy dust-powered mountain bike this year. Great local bike shop with very helpful staff and a large selection of anything bike related. Bike service is first come-first serve so plan accordingly. But they seem to be very adept at handling the large number of service requests on the weekends, so theres not much of a wait.

Unfortunately, I chose the wrong gloves a few months ago. However, the manager was nice enough to allow me a 10% discount because the gloves were so quickly destroyed, without doing anything in them... Thank you for the help. The new gloves have been AWESOME! Enduro Humvee 2s.

Got my tires fixed only for them to go flat later that day. No puncture or anything in my tire. Just bad work.

Solid selection and friendly service. Unfortunately I’m giving 2 stars because I dropped my bike off for repairs and they called me a week later to notify me they would not work on it because of some frame damage. I accept the liability issues there but letting my bike sit for a week was pretty unprofessional. I would suggest they do a more thorough check in to avoid these issues.

Always excellent service. Every employee Ive ever had an interaction with goes above and beyond to offer expert knowledge and exceptional support. Id go here before I go anywhere else for anything bike related.

Went in to have a broken chain replaced and get any needed adjustments that might have caused that. Expert service! They quickly identified some minor problems and fixed them, while I waited, for a very reasonable price.

Good bike shop, normally has what I need in a pinch. Gets a bit crowded in the summer weekends as people use their parking lot to ride the trail right outside the store

This shop has very close attention to detail when doing repairs, the 2 bicycles I have brought in were taken care of quickly and the work was really great, when I pick up my bike after repairs/tune up it always feels like a brand new bike. We also purchased a bicycle from Criterium and the quality is unmatched from what I have seen. Huge thumbs up to this shop they are the best!

Great selection of bicycles. Mainly used it for service of my mountain bike that has been garaged for 12 years. Service costs are lowest Ive seen.

Great service. Needed a quick chain and derailleur replacement. Very friendly technician had the repair made, I paid, and was out the door in 20 minutes.

This place rocks. Every person went out of their way to help me select the best mountain bike for me, adjusted everything perfect to my fit and after the first few weeks riding it, looked it over before a trip to CB for free. I get how they have been around 50 years.

In my opinion, best bike shop in Colo Springs. Took my old Niner EMD, fixed the stuff another local bike shop effed up, turned it int a sweet ride.

Bicycles are sorta of pricey, $50-60 per day. They do have a decent selection of mtn bikes and electric bikes also. One bike got 2 flats the 2nd day. The bikes have tires pumps but the tires were punctured just from the cactus on the trails . We were 8 miles into a trail and had to push the bike.

Really nice store. Pretty good selection of bikes. Back orders are a year and a half out though. Always seem busy.

Took my bike in for a simple spring check-in had the handlebars wrapped when I received the bike took it home looked at the rap was not satisfying to what I expected it was gaps areas that were opened and I can see it wasnt wrapped completely right so now I question the other repairs on my bike but other than that they were fast and prompt and it only cost me $92 for a spring check-up and handlebar wrap

Fantastic customer service. I came in for a recharge on my front wheel and the staff was helpful. They took my bike right away since it was an easy job ands I was out the door in less than 10 minutes.

Purchasing my gravel bicycle from Criterium Bicycles was an excellent experience! Nick and his sales staff sized me properly and had me try a few bicycles before I finally purchased my Specialized Diverge Expert. This was a process that took days with lots of phone calls, and the owner Nick and his staff were patient and communicative the entire time. The mechanics did an excellent job putting the bike together and even made the wheels tubeless free of charge! Criterium’s prices are more than fair, and they even give a good discount to one or more of the local race teams. This shop carries excellent bicycles and products, has knowledgeable sales staff who are not the least bit pushy, and has mechanics who know what they are doing. To top it off the shop is located next to a bike trail! Shop at Criterium. You won’t be diasappointed.

Fantastic service! John went above and beyond. I purchased a new wheel for an old bike and paid to have it installed, but got several additional tweaks and fixes just because they were needed. Everyone was attentive and friendly. Very nice!

5 Star service ! They saw that I was waiting outside, 30 minutes before they opened. Came out, took my bike in. Replaced the inner tube and had me on my way before the store was even suppose to open. I love great customer service.

Absolute professionals. Friendly, knowledgeable and kind. I brought my girlfriends and sons bikes to them just to check safety. Needed a little for the girlfriends and a lot for the sons. They encouraged me to look into a different bike instead of dumping money into a bike thats not high quality. It was nice to deal with a company looking to do whats best for my finances. Ill keep coming back.But hey theyre not cheap. Remember, you get what you pay for. Worth it.

I went there because I needed new pedals and bike shoes. I was very happy. The saleswoman was extremely well informed and helpful. I left there with the exact right shoes and pedals. Im very pleased with Criterium & will definitely shop there again. Great experience & Covid safety.

New to riding and needed some new tires. The staff was extremely helpful and informative about how they could assist me. While browsing the store, numerous employees checked on me to see if I needed any help finding items throughout the store. Tires were installed and I was ready ride in 20 minutes. Great staff with excellent service, and I will continue to use this shop in the future.

Called asking if they could look at my bike because I was unsure if I did an installation correctly. They let me bring it in; they looked it over, gave me advice, and let me ask questions all for no charge.

Although the bike shop itself did look presentable as a shop. Its a bicycle shop with absolutely no fat tire bike options. And the same generic parts selection as a Walmart.

Criterium is the best bike shop in town, definitely check it out!

We had some friends visiting from out of town and their son needed a new tire for his bike. It turned out to be a bigger issue and Criterium went out of their way to make sure he had a working bike for the remainder of his trip. I would highly recommend them. Their cafe is excellent as well. My son loved his burger!

This is my favorite bike store in Colorado Springs. The staff is always extremely helpful and patient. I can always find what Im looking for as there is a great selection of bicycle parts and clothing for all types of bicyclist. Theres also a great deal of services that are offered from suspension rebuilds to wheel truing.

Staff is knowledgeable and experienced. They do not work on commission, so there is very little pressure. There are some great test-riding areas next to the store for mtb and road bikes, and they tune the bike to you even for a test ride. Thoroughly enjoyed spending 2 hours testing three different bikes and learning about all the changes in the technology since my last purchase in 1996.

Criterium saved our weekend! My buddy’s bike rack failed and dumped my bike on I70. It’s high end carbon mtb, so you can imagine the kind of living nightmare that was to experience. I called around and Criterium seemed to be the only shop in COS that had dedicated mechanics on staff on a Saturday. I think there were about 5 of them there, which was a relief as we were scared no one was going to be able to get the bike in working order quickly enough ending our weekend before it began. These guys, ended looking over it, accounting for all damage as requested and replaced all necessary parts in about an hour. We were relieved and had a great ride not soon after in Canon City. Coming in from out of town, I caught a flat tire and emailed ahead asking to fix a flat...responded promptly. When I got into town, Mike fixed then flat in about 10-15 minutes...great service!!! Was out riding again that afternoon

Wife and I bought a gravel bike here, Specialized Diverge, we each have bought A LOT of bikes from A LOT of shops over the years and this was up at the top for customer service and experience. Best selection on the front range for small womens carbon gravel bikes at the time (COVID wiping inventory) and we called ahead about some models and drove the next day from the Denver area to check them out. She ended up wanting one that wasnt built, and even on a seemingly busy Saturday afternoon they built it, bled brakes etc and stayed a few minutes late to ring it up. Everyone there was ultra nice, somehow thats hard for some LBS to understand - be nice! Criterium is a great shop!

Great customer service

As a new customer who had almost $200 worth of work on my bike I did not feel valued as a customer. I dropped my bike off gave them my name and number. In which they took down the wrong number and spelled my name wrong. I had to call them to find out what repairs my bike needed and when it would be ready. When I went to pick up they brought the bike to me and handed me a receipt. I waited there an additional 10 minutes while another customer was helped in front of me. Next, someone rang me up took my card and handed me my receipt. No one went over what was done or asked if I had any questions. I wasnt asked to test the bike out. This shop is ran much differently than the one Im used to in NM. I will be searching for other places for future sales and repairs.

Criterium continues to be my favorite bike shop even during the pandemic. Theyre well stocked, helpful and willing to share knowledge that helps me maintain my bike. And, theyre taking excellent safety measures during covid while making it super convenient, and quick, to shop for parts, gear, and bikes.

Great bike shop. I was looking for a bike around 700. I didnt see anything under about 2000. They have beer and a little cafe . Right off of Sante Fe trail. Very nice. I will continue to look for a bike for me in my range.

As an average Joe rider I can say this place always comes through with good repairs and great customer service. I live next to Bicycle Village and wont ever visit them again, Criterium will always have my bussiness. Nice location, hard working staff who want you to have a good experience. I want to give a big shout out to this shop. My friends and I were going on our first major trail runs at Ute Valley when my chain snapped down the first hill from the parking lot. Brought my bike to the shop and within 10 minutes had a new chain and install ready for the trail. Parts and labor super reasonable. Just like any bike shop right now they are slammed. However, they helped me as quick as they could. Will definitely be coming back here to check things out once we get over this COVID business.

Great service, got my son fitted for a great bike and helmet. Also was able to get me a Thule hitch bike rack for all 5 of my familys bikes.

The service and expertise of the staff are over-the-top, and the selection of really great bikes and equipment is as good as it gets. Nic and his staff worked hard to educate us about their products, let us take a test ride on the beautiful bike path outside their shop and helped us get the best pricing we have found on two beautiful Specialized Como Turbo e-bikes that we really love. Save yourself some time and go to Criterium first. They have everything youll ever need and it feels like family when you go in.

I just purchased a new Cannondale mountain bike with the assistance of AJ. The customer service experience was great. AJ was very patient and knowledgeable. I was offered a demo ride prior to making a purchase and the bike was set up to specifically fit my reach requirements. The service after the sale I received from Ben was also top notch. Great bike shop!

Excellent service from great staff. Needed a quick brake adjustment on my kids bike and Zach had me in and out in no time, making sure that everything was good to ride. Everyone was friendly and quick to help so we could get back out having fun. Services are affordable and everyone is super knowledgeable. Well definitely be back for any of our cycling needs.

Service here has always been very good. Today they blew me away. People were lined up out the door shortly before closing time. Rather than turn people away, the techs “triaged” bikes and fixed them on the spot. I needed a headset for my new frame. They had it in stock and installed it in a few short minutes.

The repair was completed much faster than I anticipated! The service was courteous as well.
