Martin is excellent! I sent him an engine that had failed due to rod bearing issues and he was able to get it all completely ready for me to reinstall, even going as far as to source bearings, rings, new seals for most every bottom and top end part, everything but the freeze plugs were ready to roll upon pickup. Parts were super clean, everything was done in a very timely manner especially considering it was such a major job for such an uncommon rebuild. If you want to do a build nobody else does, go see the machine shop! I daily the car and with it being the first car I ever worked on the quality of Martin and teams work truly shows since I made many silly mistakes that can easily doom longblocks and its running like a dream!

Called the shop on a Saturday expecting to leave a message. Martin happened to be in, and was willing to give up some of his hobby time to fix a brake caliper for my car. Amazing work, perfect fix, awesome space, and immense knowledge. Definitely earned a life customer.

Sent my steering rack for manual conversion. Could not be happier with the work and the customer service was outstanding. Martin is very polite and friendly. Took longer to send to them than it did for them to do the work and send it back. Everything fit perfectly and worked better than new. Highly recommend the machine shop.

Came in for a quote on some machining work. he told me it would be $200 and take 2 weeks before he could do it. He said is that fine with you? I asked if he could do it for $160. He then told me he didnt want to do it, and didnt want anything to do with me. He said he didnt want to haggle. I told him I can do the $200, but he didnt care. He was very professional, until I offered the $160. I would not recommend. He might blow up in your face over a mere suggestion of doing work for cheaper than what he says. Maybe he was having a bad day, but thats no excuse.

Martin and crew have done Machining for three different MG engines I have rebuilt and numerous other custom Machining projects that I have needed. This is the place to take difficult machine work that nobody else wants to do. I wouldnt recommend anybody else.

I needed the large radius arm bushings pushed out and the new ones installed. I called about 130 this afternoon, and was told they could take a look at them as soon as I could get over. Having been in the fabrication and machining biz, when price was mentioned I just said it all depends on how quick you can get it done, dont bother on quoting me anything. When I arrived we went straight to the back, and they set to work using the arbor press. It took only about 15-20 minutes. $40 later I had my radius arms all ready and was out the door. I cant say enough good things about these guys so far. When I have some head work needed on my Triumph GT6, I will call them first.

I brought a stainless steel kitchen sink (14 AWG) to have a 1 3/8 hole drilled and they took me on short notice and did a good job. I was pleased with prompt service while I was there and charged me reasonable. I will use this shop in the future for any machining need and recommend it to friends and family.

Dont waste your time or money with these guys. Brought some cv axles in for some machining work, even brought a new fully assembled cv with donor parts on it so they could see exactly how they needed to be assembled and paid extra for them to take the parts off that cv (which I would have done myself otherwise but wanted to give them the visual aid). Work was finally done a week later than what they said and about double the price of what they quoted me. A friend picked them up for me and when I got them I immediately noticed that had assembled them wrong... extra work for me now. Also, pretty poor machining on one of the cvs. Called to talk to them about it and they didnt care. Wouldnt do business with these guys ever again.

Martin will do everything he can to take care of you. It’s a Quality shop. He replaced a PITA wheel bearing for my 3rd gen 4Runner and after finding out that the ABS ring and the top retainer were pressed too far onto the axle, he fixed it the next day even though I know he was swamped with many other projects that he still had to do. Good shop and nice people

Awful experience. Brought in a couple of parts to get machined and was told to come back in a few hours to pick them up. When I got there they werent exactly as a I requested. When I asked if they could be fixed they said yes and made one of the parts worse and unusable. Instead of telling me that they couldnt fix it exactly as I asked they proceeded to ruin my part costing me even more money for a replacement. Not only that the guy machining the part walked away from without any resolution and kept my money. It was so bad that it left one of the other workers speechless as to how rude the man was to me.

Ive taken flywheels and other things here to get them done and Im always pleased with the quality of the work, the knowledge of Martin and the fair pricing.Recently a friend of mine had a clutch go out on their fourteen year old Jeep. The shop told them that since it has a dual-mass flywheel then it cant be machined. I called Martin and he said that of course it can be machined (resurfaced), depending on its condition.
