Dropped off my block to get tested in April, was told i was in queue and will be worked on in two months.. its August now, and will not respond to messages, or phone calls.I also some of the 4/5 star reviews on here are replicated through different review platforms. With that said be Extremely Careful.Update 9/7: Was contacted that he will work on my block next, it is now september. Will be looking at sourcing another engine since he has held my block hostage.

Angelo and his team of experts did a quick turn around of two Nissan Xterra heads that I needed rebuilt. For being such a busy shop, the communication and pricing was very well reasonable. This is my second time using Geddes and it definitely won’t be the last. Getting things done right is what they put out from their shop!

I have a shop in Fountain, CO -- these guys have always been spot-on with their work. My customers expect me to do the job right, so I rest easy knowing its in good hands. The rates are reasonable, the turnaround times are fantastic, and the service is great. I ask them questions during all hours of the day, expecting replies the next morning, but sometimes I get answers in the middle of the night. I cant recommend their work enough!

Found out about Geddes through a group of mutual friends. I worked with Angelo and he did take the time to go through my current build and my future plans. Based of that we specd out my heads. Work is quality and the pricing was right for the work done. They are busy so it did take a bit longer than expected but I would recommend and will give him repeat business.

Hade some small block Chrysler heads done and was very pleased with the quality and the time frame. Will use again next time I need machine work done!

Bought a complete LS rotating assembly off Geddes. I experienced some of the best customer service I have ever had. Replies to my questions were answered almost instantly. Great business to do business with. I never felt like I was being rush with any of the questions I had. Everything showed up at my door in good condition and was packaged well. Absolutely horrendous experience using this machine shop. Dropped a motor of to have it rebuilt and was told it would be done in a month or two. 8 months later I had to come pick the motor up after nothing had been done and countless promises of “I will have it done in a couple weeks” extremely unprofessional and horrible customer service.

They machined the head on my Saab twice, one day turnaround both times. Installed and the car is running great. Fantastic service!

Geddes Racing engines is probably the worst business I have ever dealt with. I brought Angelo my RB26 to be machined for my skyline GTR. To keep things short he over charged me for parts, all the machine work he did was wrong, he provided me with absolutely no information on the work he did or receipts, and he was rude about having to work on my engine because he prefers Corvettes and other American made cars. If I assembled my engine after his work it would have blown up immediately. I had to pay another machine shop in town $1,500 to fix everything Angelo did. The other machine shop confirmed it was terrible work. The estimated 2 months to do the machining turned into 9 months of back and forth. This business is completely incompetent of handling a JDM engine and will not listen to their customers. 1 year after pulling my engine to have it machined I am now finally getting it back in the car. Lots of wasted time and money, but a huge learning experience.

These guys are the best in Colorado. Very fairly priced and excellent at what they do. Cut fire rings into 5.9 Cummins head and it turned out great.

What can I say about Geddes? Consider this. Stock crank and heads. 281 cubic inches. 3 valves per cylinder. 540 wheel horsepower? Are you KIDDING?!? That translates to 11.40 (at Bandimere, folks) meaning that the lowly 4.6 3-valve is making close to 600 crank Horsepower. Keep in mind, this is in a full-weight, CD-player and everything Mustang, on DOT radials.So yeah, you wanna make great power for the strip? These guys do it! And they treat you with respect, for your engine, and for you, which is rare anywhere these days, especially in the performance business. Well done, fellas!

Angelo was upfront and honest with me the entire build. What started out as new rings turned into a full rebuild; I was sent photos throughout the entire process and told what needed to be replaced and what didn’t. I will definitely continue to use this shop in the future!

After breaking down my engine, I got stuck needing a GM valve spring compression tool that would have cost more than Angelo charged to do it for me. The great thing is once they had taken a look at the head, turned out more than just springs were needed and the crew at Geddes did a phenomenal job. Great guys. Dropped off a head to be pressure tested, and a manifold to be lapped. Fast turn around! I expected to hear back from them in 2-3 days, but went back in later the same day. FYI they prefer cash, and there is a 3% charge for using credit/debit.

Great experience. I did not know who to trust in town with machining. I asked the guys at Patterson Diesel who they recommended and it was Geddes. I just picked up my heads today and feel the price was well worth the quality. There was a little wait for them, but worth it. I was given a discount for the wait. I feel everything was very fair. He remembered all the little details of the head work performed which tells me he cares about what he does. I will bring them more business and pass the good word.

Geddes Auto Machine completely rebuilt a DZ302 out of my 1969 Camaro Z28 essentially creating a like-new engine with a few modern touches, but also keeping the original flavor of a 60s muscle car. The end result is a 50 year car that is a pleasure to drive, starts easily, idles flawlessly, and is very responsive when the gas pedal is put to the floor.Before I ever brought the engine to the shop the owner, Angelo and I made a rough plan on what was needed. After the engine was disassembled Angelo presented a thorough plan of what was needed and a very good estimate of how much it was going to cost. The shop does everything in-house including ordering all of the parts, the machine work, assembly, painting, engine break-in, and final dyno tuning. The whole process took about 4 months from the time I dropped off the engine until it was ready to be picked up.

Angelo & the guys have done some pretty fantastic engine machining for me over the years. Many Ford Model A blocks have turned out great. A Ford flathead V-8 that needed complete machining, exhaust valve seat crack repair (the metal stitching was a work of art) and repairing the block on a 1967 Pontiac Tempest 326. I know they mostly build great racing engines but they also take great care of the oddball stuff. I really appreciate them!

I had Geddes machine a hydraulic release bearing Piston for me and they did a fantastic job. I expected to have to wait a few days but they had it finished in just a few hours and were very inexpensive as well. In addition to the great work, the guys at Geddes were very friendly and easy to talk to, they even gave my 5 year old daughter and bunch of racing stickers lol!I hands down will be using them when I have my next engine built. Dropped off a Gen 2 LS 5.3 L aluminum to get ARP ALL out. quality work new Pistons, all done with the torque plates!decks squared quality work machine surface is good! if not perfect for head gaskets to seal great. GM o-ring gaskets have trouble sealing on factory-seal surfaces and seeping. All block surfaces as far as seal surface where smooth out great. My turnaround time on the Block was very reasonable about 2 weeks.

Just picked up my 1968 Mustang 302 from Geddes Auto Machine. Angelo was great to work with on rebuilding my engine. He ran the engine on his Dynamometer to tune it and help break it in. There was a significant gain in horse power and torque.A very great company to do business with.Thank You

Dropped off my engine to have a line hone and short block assembly done. The guys at geddes did a great job and a much faster turn around time then i expected. If you need machine work this is the place to go.

Just picked up my 4g63 block and crank pistons, rods, and bearings. They did such a good job and the price was a reasonable price. They do really good work

Rebuilt a shortblock for me. Engine ran great, no issues. Even git my some forged internals for a great price.

Over priced work that you might eventually get back sometime within a year after constant nagging. Example, it took over 6 months gor a 4cyl-block guard pressed in at an angle, valve guides, seals, cut, block deck, crank polish, and cylinder hone. Biggest waste of money and time. No recipt, cash only. Go somewhere else.

Do not go here. Want payment in cash and did not give receipt. Little job of pressing bearing into hubs. Could not press rubber bushing into hub. Put two seal in backwards and said this is correct. Hope bearing is correct. Do not go here if you want the job done correct.

Here was my experience. I brought in a single motorcycle cylinder to be bored. They told me to bring the piston in. They told me theyd have it done by the end of the week. They never called. That was the first week. I call back on Monday, said that they havent got to it yet, but that they would have it done before Friday. Friday comes and goes, no call. 2 weeks goes by. I Call them Wednesday, said that they would do it that afternoon. I came in Wednesday night, I asked for my parts back, they told me that they would call me when they were done, I cant work miracles. 2 weeks after I dropped it off they hadnt done anything but wash it off. I asked him what I owed them, he told me $30 and had to be cash.I said that you guys must be busy with the bigger jobs they said no.I tried to be as patient as possible, but telling someone that something is going to be done multiple times and they dont do anything isnt professional, and then charging the customer for wasting their time is even worse.I don not recommend this place to anyone. Save your time, your $$$ and your headache and find a better shop where boring a cylinder isnt working miracles.

I cant say enough good things about Angelo and his team. I spun a rod on my C6 Z06 and figured if I was going to rebuild it, might as well do it right. Angelo recomended upgrades but was never pushy. He really guided me through the project. He kept in touch with me throughout the build, providing pictures and updates. At the end of the day, Geddes built an unbelievable race engine that puts down 586HP to the wheels and I couldnt be happier!!!!!!

They had built a 416 stroker for my 2012 Camaro ss. They build to work around your project. These guys Definetly have knowledge about engines and are great at building them. I would suggest this shop out of all Colorado Springs shops. I am very impressed. They got my Camaro a little over 600whp and the engine can handle so much more. They are very good at beating prices on the market and great at beating prices from other shops. Definetly give this shop a try you will not regret it!!!!

I like this place. I had clutch master cylinder spacing adjustor that I needed cut down in thickness. They took care of the problem quick and for a fair price. At least three other machine shops had turned me away. Thanks for the help!

I had a spark plug break off in my head upon removal. Geddes was not only able to remove it but also repair the damage to the head and install a new timesert for me. Super fast turn-around and A+ craftsmanship. Definetly would recommend and will return for future engine work!

I called and geddes and he said he could bore my motorcycle cylinder and it would take about a week . This was six weeks ago and he still hasnt touched it . I found a place online that has a two day turn around and is half of geddes price . I would not take anything to geddes machine . There is better options with the internet .

Holy moly, this is my engine machine shop and the only one that i will shop at. At first i didnt have a budget however after talking and kicking around Angelo knowledge on ls motors sealed the deal. At first the cost for the rebuild was out of my reach however Angelo assured me on the right budget. Not only is his prices are fair he let me know the features and benefits on doing the motor rebuild throughout the process. I dare you to price around, Angelo not only will beat local prices but he can beat online gaint retailers prices. This guy is an all star and will find a way to beat the prices. Any parts when it comes to LS motors are cheaper going through him then Summit Racing or Jegs online store. Plus he is next day on orders but most of the time he has it in Stock. Got an LS Motor in need for a rebuild stop by his machine shop first before wasting your money else where. Angleo you have my business plus my customers business at my shop. Keep your money local and spend it with you local engine builder. You know my next build is going be done through him. Keep up the good work.

The machine shop is busy but organized and clean. Every time Ive called the shop the owner has answered the phone.Delivery Time - Everyone knows that machine shops can take forever but Geddes proved this stigma wrong for me.Finished Product - The heads turned out excellent! Geddes literally took a set of junkyard heads and turned them into something that my engine isnt worthy of running now.Geddes also has a new LSx based valve rocker arm program with a bronze bushing insert that Im looking forward to installing next!

Just got my second Jeep 4.0L components back and now it is time to build. Angelo did the work on a second hand engine several years ago when we had to build a new engine for my sons YJ. Now over 7 yrs later that engine is still running like a top! They did a great job machining the block and head plus recommending new pistons and cam. Currently I am building a 4.6L stroker for the other son. Once again Angelo came through with great advice and superb workmanship. I brought him second hand block, head, crank, connecting rods, etc which he worked on. Got a beautifully ported and finished head. Block, crank, pistons, rods all gone over and speced out for this stroker. Even received some great tips on final assembly and break-in. Brought in 1 piston, they said it was a 20 min jobs and that it would be ready the next day (it was late the day I brought it) 3 days later I came in and it still wasnt even touched and the 20 min job would have to wait till after lunch for him to start and this was for a little job I can imagine what would happen if I brought over one of my big jobs, test failed no business from me ever I cant be lied to and made to wait after being told one thing my customers wouldnt be as loyal as they are if I ran my business like they do, so I got the right tool and have started doing the work in house . like they say if you want it done right do it yourself
