If I could give negative stars I would. For one, when your customers come in and ask about a few vehicles, you dont get rude, say they probably dont run anyway and get nasty about theres no more info I can give you then whats on the website. A normal person would say yes, let me check into that for you. My man is NOT happy about how he was treated. Hes just trying to find a vehicle and went in there very respectfully and got nothing but a nasty attitude for no reason. Didnt even get to look at a car. He was told Come back later, Im kindof busy. Yea...way to run your shop. Thats disgusting behavior and Im surprised they even have good reviews.

I was looking to possibly upgrade from my 2003 diesel to a newer one. Note: they have two locations not far from each other.

After my horrible experience with them, I took my business to McCloskey Imports & 4X4’s. By far better business than Trashside auto.I mean go look at the difference. Wish I could give no stars. It started ok with the dealership. It has ended badly. After going through everything and getting our own financing, there was a paper that was missed to get the plates. Asked the dealership if they could get us the paperwork and they had stated they sent it to us. I told her we never received anything from them. They stated they would need the vehicle for a couple of days to have it weighed, even though it takes only a few minutes to get it to a weigh location. Because they lost the paperwork and sent in the incorrect paperwork, they made it out as if I had done something wrong. I am still waiting on them to call back as they said they would. The deal was done in January.

At first we had a pleasant experience, as you can read from my original review down below. Seth, the car salesman we did business with, asked us to write a good review so he could get a free lunch. We thought we got our car for a reasonable price. Seth put in down in writing “if we can get you the car for this* price then you will buy the car today*. I thought it was a little odd but sure whatever we signed it. He came back with a price that we felt comfortable with. The finance man was not there that day and we were told he would contact us the next day. A couple weeks later, they reached out to us saying the price of the car would be $250 monthly. This is over $100 that we could afford. When I called back crying they told us there was nothing they could do and that this was standard for first time buyers. WE WERE NEVER INFORMED THAT THIS WOULD HAPPEN. Otherwise we would have NEVER driven off the lot. I asked Seth to start being as transparent as possible with all of his future buyers especially first time buyers.Moral of the story: DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE A FIRST TIME BUYER!! This had to be the best car buying experience I have had in years. When I took my son to purchase his first car Seth was amazing! He greeted us outside and was just a happy and kind person. We had gone to Lakeside Auto before and they tried selling us a truck with a fifth wheel hookup, tale gate being held up with wire coat hangers, the front seat torn up and the steering column torn apart like it was stolen. This time was completely different. We took our daughter with us and told Lester what we were looking for and a good price. Lester located the perfect mini van for us. Our daughter is now in a really safe car. Lester understands where we are coming from with medical problems and he also understands keeping the family safe. Bow also was a big help with everything. Without the two of them working as a team we wouldnt be in a safe car. Thank You so much.

The minute I walked in I was greeted and treated with the up right most respect I’ve had at a dealership. James Robinson went through so many options because my credit isn’t perfect. He followed the social distance protocol to the max so I felt safe as well while at the dealership! At the end of the day James got me in my dream car. If there was a 10/10 star I’d give them a 20!! I recommend this dealership to anyone.

Horrible, DO NOT BUY FROM ANY OF THEIR LOCATIONS. I have had my 2011 Dodge Durango for a year now and it’s just had mechanical issues ever since we bought it, not even a month after we bought it the computer went out on it and the alternator went out on it they took a week to even look at it at their shop to tell me that it was a 800$ fix that it was normal wear and tear we barely just bought it, then after that the drive shaft brokeThis dealership is just a scam. Now we’re so upside down on it nobody will let us trade it in.Don’t buy from them!!

Do not trust these sellers. Sold us a Durango told us thirty day returns. The car burned to the ground in 28 hours after purchase. They did nothing did not stand by their return policy. Instead pointed to a clause in contract that says “ buying this car comes with no promises”. Even though their sales men do nothing but promise that policy. These guys are crooks.

Best used truck selection in southern colorado.

First off Jeremy is the worst salesman on earth, I contacted him Saturday morning about a truck he told me come test drive it on my lunch break I did and the truck wouldnt even go 50mph so he asked me to come back after work and he would have a few trucks lined up that met my budget. So I show up at 315 and let him know I was there. He said give him just a moment. Well after an hour not one person came to help me and that jackass didnt even contact me or find anything. Dont waste your time here. Ive driven 3 different trucks that all are about to blow the engine. All over priced junk

He did a great job building rapport, paid close attention to staying within my budget and made sure to include my son throughout. If you need a car to go see Mr. Willy down at Lakeside. He was incredibly friendly, got me the car that I wanted under book value, and it’s in excellent condition. This process was so quick and so easy. This is the second car I’ve bought from Lakeside and each time it’s been a fantastic experience. Also shoutout to Mr. James, you’re awesome!

The only reason they are even getting a single star is because their dealer Andre is a pretty decent guy. Our sale went fine other than the fact that their vehicles are over priced. I did not even have the truck a day when it broke down. They came and got it and had it for 5 days to fix the problem. I went and picked the truck up. I didnt even make it home and the truck broke down again. I have owned the truck for 18 days and havent driven it half a day. I went back and asked them to simply just take the truck back and sell me another on the lot that I had looked at. I was told by the sales manager Tanner, that it would be in my best interest to just let them fix the truck because I would lose on the trade in value of the truck. ARE YOU EFFING KIDDING ME?????? I hadnt owned the truck a full day and he is telling me its not worth what I just payed for it!! What a sorry outfit they are. They knew that we were looking for another vehicle in addition to this truck and still did not try to help. We werent asking for much. I didnt ask for my money back or anything extreme.......just to sell me a different truck that was sitting right there on the lot. Now the truck is supposedly fixed, I did make it home this time but it has a serious vibration during acceleration. When we discussed the situation over the phone Tanner, I was told that they were going to do a FULL diagnostic on the vehicle to make sure everything was perfect. And also that they would sell me the extended warranty at their expense. When I picked the truck up I asked if there was any paperwork to sign for the warranty and he told me that I would have to pay for that! SORRY, SORRY BUSINESS!!! I wouldnt encourage anyone to buy from them and dont trust a single word they say. Its ALL bulls#!t!! They will be seeing me in arbitration!!

We are very happy with the service and professional atmosphere at this location, we worked with Andre the salesman and Bo the broker. Both went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with the vehicle bought and the got the best deal possible. Very patient and down to earth. Andre Cruz was awesome. Bought a Jeep from him and Ive had no trouble with it while frolicking around the mountains. It performs as well as Andres service. Sometimes, when I put the top down and feel the brisk mountain air rush through my senses, I remember that day dealing with a non-smiley car dealer who had my interests at heart, not just a month sales goal. My girlfriend and I were looking for a vehicle for her. At first we werent planning on buying. Then Larry came along! Larry was honest and down to earth. Unlike most dealers he approached her! Most dealer want to deal with the man. Larry was very open and made it feel as if we were buying from family. There were a few minor issues with the vehicle we were purchasing, but they fixed them over night so we can drive away with a near new used vehicle. They said they would send me an offer on my truck after the weekend along with information sheets on a bunch I was interested in.One week later and they won’t reply to my emails and never sent me anything.Poor follow through serviceI would say 30% of their used vehicle are in good shape.The other percent is promised to have blemishes and a poor cleaning job on the inside.Not impressed and I guess I won’t be doing business with you guys.

Good ole honest customer service. Manager Bo and his team at the 8th st. location,went the extra extra miles to help me out. I went to Lakeside first because a good friend told me about them, her son went there and another friend, and found great cars, but each experienced honest customer service. I found a wonderful vehicle in November and they helped with all the paperwork and made sure I had just what I wanted. In April I found out I had an Air conditioner problem and they went out of their way to take care of it. They make you feel like your a forever customer, which I am. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!!!! They are just trying to make a sale. They dont care what you want. They tried to sell us 2 cars that were so dangerously rusted out they should never be sold to anyone. We took one of the cars to our mechanic and when they were done looking at it they recommend we not even try to drive it back to the dealership because it was so rusted the frame looked like it was going to give out. When we refused those cars they tried to get us to buy a wrecked RAV4 with busted taillights and a dented in bumper. They have all the cars rejected by other dealerships and try to price them like they are brand new. The quality of cars are horrible and unsafe here and the sales people dont care about the safety or happiness of their customer, all they care about is making money. We will not be back and we recommend no one else goes here either.

No wasting of time, we were never shown any vehicle over priced or pressured!!!!!
