No knew it could happen so fast.

I sat on my eyeglasses the night before while getting ready for bed. I assessed the damage the next morning....Through amateur eyes, the frame was completely totaled and one of the lenses actually popped out. It being my only pair, I was concerned...I’ve never had to go in to get eyewear repaired so I was going in blind (no pun intended) LOL. I was pleasantly greeted by Kevin. I told him that I broke my glasses and at first sight, he knew they had been sat on. I asked if he could fix them today and his enthused yes put me at ease. Kevin also helped me take a glimpse into my family’s new vision policy and I set up an appointment with the doctor next door. The repair was free and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes.

I had bought my glasses a yr or so ago from 4eyes. The line that held the lenses in had broken. Took em back but they had no line. Drove across the street and eyemart express fixed them no charge and even picked up a pair of prescription sunglasses. Done in about 1/2 an hour.

I was able to find 2 pairs of glasses and although I needed special order lenses, it only took a week to get them completed. And theyre great! I went to Eyemart express after I went to my eye checkup because they told me I had to wait 2-3 weeks for my new glasses. I enter and I was immediately tended to. Everyone was so nice the lady helped me decide what type of lens I wanted and told me they would text me when they was done which was either that day or the next day. I leave cause I had to get back to work and I stopped at Mac Donald’s the min I get my food and I’m heading back to work I get the text that my first pair of glasses were ready. I turn back around to go back then I get the second text that both pair are ready. My glasses were done in 20 minutes. Great job you just got a new loyal customer. While a bit pricey overall theyre competitive and their staff are courteous, professional, and attentive. Theyre paying due attention to the use of masks, sanitation and still maintain a good flow throughout the shop. Both my wife and I were very pleased with their service and would certainly continue to use them for our glasses in the future.

The best and most easiest experience I have ever had going to get new glasses. I had previously purchased glasses at Eyemart express 3-4 years ago and wasn’t too happy with the customer service during that visit. However this visit was way better. I was greeted nicely and respectfully, and they explained how their new sanitary policies worked. Which I thought was awesome how they keep things clean. you get a clean basket and any glasses you touch or try on put them in the basket and they sanitize and clean them before putting them back on display. They require mask for everyone that’s in the store too. I didn’t wait long after I found the frames I liked. I sat down and waited about 2 minutes if that. Their website is misleading about the the frames they have in the stores and the insurances they take and deals. My insurance always pays half of my frame and lens cost so didn’t think to bring much cash. I was nervous that the $60 I had for my glasses wasn’t enough, even with the 2 for $38 deal. Because most eyewear stores charge for the lens separate. Eyemart express included the lens price in with the frames. The purchasing process was easy and quick. I figured it would take about an hour or so to get my glasses back. The guy said give us about 45 minutes if that even, wasn’t 20 minutes after leaving I get a text saying that both pair of glasses were done. Keep up the good work y’all.

It was my 6 year old first experience with getting glasses and the people here were so encouraging and just as excited for him. They let him take a picture with a special board and ring the bell. I would definitely recommend plus they had a great deal on frames ans lenses.

Visited the store Saturday July 25, 2020. Upon arrival the door was locked because they were at capacity since they are practicing social distancing. They only let a few customers at a time and they provide their number on a sign to call if ths door is locked. We didnt wait long to get in and the process of picking glasses didnt take long. We purchased three pairs of glasses and received two completed pairs which was great because they closed at five and it was after 4:30 when we finished picking out our frames. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. We will definitely return when we need more glasses.

Good selection of frames, reasonable prices, all the lens options (polycarbonate lightweight, anti-glare, polarized etc) were available & they were able to do 2 pairs of glasses in about an hour. The active transition lenses that my daughter likes still take about two weeks but thats fairly standard anywhere. Sales associate Ryan at the was Colonial Heights Virgina location was courteous, attentive, compassionate and understanding. He helped me with a great deal on two pairs of glasses bc I needed sun glasses for driving, I needed both pairs quickly & I was paying out of pocket. Terra was extremely helpful! Once everything was picked out and paid for, I walked out with my reading glasses within 10 minutes. I was probably there for 30 minutes total and most of that was spent by me trying to find frames for pair for the glasses that had to be ordered. The staff was very welcoming and nice.

I switched from contacts back to glasses a little over a year ago. My eyes started hurting and my neck, as well, but it was pretty gradual so I figured my eyes were just getting worse as Im getting older. This morning I couldnt take it anymore. I called around and Eyemart Express (or the optometrist next door to it, rather) was the only place where I could get an updated eye exam today. My last eye exam, Im ashamed to admit, was 3 years ago and not in town. The optometrist uses some type of scanner to figure out your prescription...turns out I was wearing a pair of glasses with a prescription way too strong for me. I went next door to Eyemart Express, found 2 pairs I loved (their selection is fabulous), and they were ready in 23 minutes. I cannot get over how, hours later, my eyes and neck are both NOT hurting! The salesman was super nice, as was the optometrist. Sure, I spent more than the coupon claimed but thats because I chose more expensive frames and wanted a couple extras on my lenses. Still, I got an excellent deal - less than $300 for both pairs. At the end of the day, glasses are a complete investment in your overall health - a payment like this for two is beyond reasonable.

Went in with my son and I to purchase a couple of highly needed glasses and walked out a couple hours later very satisfied. We received excellent customer service and the clerk showed us the very latest fashionable glasses and we were happy. They were very professional and courteous. On my most recent experience i will rate the salesperson four stars. Very professional! There was one additional staff on the floor that morning that was alittle cold towards me. Not quite sure why. I accompanied my five year old granddaughter to get her first glasses here and was impressed with the patience of the staff. The selection of eyewear to choose from was impressive.I got my own glasses a few weeks later and was very impressed with the selection of frames I found. Having just moved to the area.I was pleasantly surprised to find the frame prices were lower then in my hometown. I was able to find flattering frames that didnt break my budget. I do have insurance but you know there are limits and that usually kept me from getting my first choice of frames.I ordered two pairs of progressive bifocals and the first pair was ready before I finished my other errands that afternoon. They are perfect and Im looking forward to my other pair. The staff is very helpful and Monica worked with me and my insurance to find me the best deal.The eye doctors practice affiliated with them is right next door and I saw Dr. Charline Anselme. She and her staff were just great and very thorough.

Completely disappointed in your company. We had an emergency with a pair of eyeglasses that needed to be fixed. The associate working indicated she could fix them but was unable to because we didnt purchase them from you. Such a disappointment and poor customer service.

Honest review here. I went in and only had my prescription on my phone in desperate need of glasses so they couldnt take it off my phone understandable. So they told me have it faxed over. I called and my doctor said it would be a while so the doctor there took the script right over the phone. So helpful and kind. I picked out 2 pair of glasses and was told to come back by 630 I was there at 4:50 so a lil over a hour right thats cool. So I look at my phone and at 5:15 both pair of my glasses were ready and I was shocked. Went in they cleaned them up I tried them on everything went great and I walked out beyond happy and did I mention I only paid 38.71 for 2 pair of glasses and they are awesome......... FYI I have 4 young ducklings so affordable and quick glasses that look great is a must will be going back just to get extras and sunglasses. Excellent establishment and excellent staff.

Eyemart Express has handled prescription sunglasses and single-vision glasses for my husband and I and just lately, they made two lovely pairs of single-vision glasses for our five-year-old daughter. They have a nice selection and are fairly affordable, as brick-and-mortar glasses stores go, and the turnaround time to get the glasses made was remarkable. We got our custom mirrored sunglasses within a couple of weeks and all of the single-vision glasses took less than a day. If you need glasses, especially for a young child, and youre in a hurry, this is the place to go. Other nearby shops have made us wait weeks and weeks and taken two or three tries to get an order right, but Eyemart Express got our glasses organized either same day or next day for single vision and pretty darn soon for fancy prescription sunglasses. The prices are also pretty good. For some things, like an extra pair to match an outfit, specialty glasses for a costume or prescription scuba goggles, it may be cheaper or more practical to go online, but its still lovely to have a hometown shop that can make your Sunday best specs for you locally, so well definitely be enjoying many more years with Eyemart Express!Oh, and dont miss Dr. Anselmes optometry office next door! Shes just wonderful!

My son came home from college for the weekend with broken glasses. We needed new glasses on Saturday before he left on Sunday. EyeMart Express was amazing! Everyone was helpful, they were affordable and very efficient with his glasses made in 40 minutes. When they told me that my vision insurance wasnt accepted there they worked very hard to help me asking about out of network reimbursement. With a few more questions to try to help me they realized I was an educator and with a valid school ID I could get 20% off. I was SOLD! THANK YOU!

The staff is very friendly and courteous. I went in a little over two weeks ago and Im still waiting on my glasses. I got the anti-glare coating so my glasses couldnt be made in the store and was told it takes up 2 weeks. I got a call 2 days before I was due to pick up glasses and was told lenses not up to standard and would have to be re-made. I asked the issue and was told lenses were twisted/curved and I would not be able to see clearly. It seems a issue like that would have been discovered by technician in the lab before being sent out to store. Suffice it to say Im very disappointed at this point.
