If you want fast service with an excellent eye doctor this is the place to go!!! Belinda is wonderful!!! I got in to see her the same day, it was great. She is friendly, personable, fabulous!!! But then order ALL supplies elsewhere!!!!!! I went at the beginning of summer. Ordered glasses, sunglasses, trial contacts, another set of trial contacts and contacts....each and every time the orders were messed up, not ordered, delayed.... Glasses were wrong frame, reordered and came back as sunglasses when they were not suppose to be, the third or fourth time they were finally correct. I still dont have my contacts. I was told they would be delivered to my home within 3-5 days of ordering...I was hopeful but now three weeks later they are STILL NOT HERE....Belinda please fix whatever is going on in the optical shop... It is horrible and you will lose your clientele if its not corrected😥

Absolutely loved it here! I tried the eye care place across from them and it was horrible but here, they make you feel so welcomed and answered every question and concern I had. The Dr. seemed to love her job and it showed how much she cared. I will definitely use them from now on

Dr. Herring & his staff are simply the best! His office managed is the sweetest woman & beyond helpful . My sweet 89 year old Mom has struggled with not the best hearing aides. We recently moved here to CS & Dr. Herring was suggested to us. He did a thorough screening for my mom & suggested which kind of hearing aides she needed for her hearing loss. Besides his obvious expertise, I sincerely appreciated his kindness & gentleness when explaining everything to my mom & listening to her questions. And hallelujah no more batteries or filters to change. She just has to put these on a charger at night. It is such a relief to me to have her screening updated & know we have found the best audiologist for my Mom! 😊

Everyone was so incredibly sweet there! I had to bring my son when the sitter fell through and the eye doctor even held him while she was checking my eyes! It was truly a wonderful experience and fast! I would recommend them to anyone!!

Wow! I am very impressed with Eye Care Center. All the staff were so friendly and kind. The nurse and doctor showed a gentleness I am not used to at most other places. I have anxiety, and not once did I feel nervous. They did an excellent job of explaining everything and answered all my questions and concerns. We will definitely refer them to all our family and friends. :)

Dr. Dobson is good, knowledgeable and very friendly but staffs are not well informed. My son got a very high prescription. I requested a rush shipping and they assure that it will be done quickly but got glasses after 19 days though after calling numerous times. I also paid about $500 for a pair of glasses which I believe is little higher than outside their shop. Store operational manager told I was not described properly by the staff that the order to delivery time is 14 business days instead of 7-10 business days as I was informed by one of the staff during taking order. This sound to me little unprofessional because I would go by what staff is saying while taking order as we dont get privileges to meet the manager every time. Manager also told that rush shipping option is there but we have to pay $200 extra for that. Keep these apart, I am happy with the glasses and it looks great. My suggestion- if you want to make glasses from there you have to wait about 18-20 days and pay higher price if you dont have Insurance. But if you need to get your eye check-up done then you can go with Dr. Dobson for sure.

I have been going to eye care center since it changed from Sue Simpson and as much as I like Belinda, the service has deteriorated. Each time I get a new RX glasses they never have them ready when I’m told they will be ready. Last visit, had to request staff to wear masks. Also, a number of staff are unvaccinated and there appears to be no plans to make it a requirement. I’m in my 70s, high risk for viruses and take care of my 95 year old mother. I find this practice to be irresponsible and reckless for a health professional. All other doctors, clinics & dentists I visit are masked and vaccinated. Please do your part to stop COVID-19 and get vaccinated!

Dr. Dobson has been my daughters eye doctor for many years. My daughter has a disability, Dr. Dobson is always so patient and makes my daughter feel so comfortable and welcome. She is an amazing doctor and a true blessing.

Dr. Dobbins and her staff were so amazing! I havent been to see an Optometrist in about 15 years and was so nervous for my appointment, but they made me feel very relaxed and welcomed. Dr. Zike is truly the most caring optometrist I’ve ever seen. I’m not the easiest patient and I’m picky about my contacts, but she made sure I was happy and tried a couple different things to get my vision perfect. All of the employees have a smile on their face and do a great job taking care of their patients. I’m so glad I found Dr. Zike when I moved to BCS!

Dr Dobson was amazing. She was very thorough to the point of being concerned about my diabetes in relationship to my eyesight. I’m 65 years old and I don’t remember ever having an optometrist that genuinely cares this much. I would recommend Dr Dobson to anyone in a heartbeat.

Dr. Zike is very caring and knowledgeable. The staff are great and my visits are always pleasant. The eye exams are very thorough. I feel I have gotten better customer service and eye exams from the Eye Care Center than any other place in Bryan-Cillege Station. I have never had an issue with my visits or my glasses I have bought from them.Highy reccommend!!

The doctor takes good care of patients. She is detail and thorough. But she goes over the boundary even if not necessary. Over boundaries make unnecessary cuts through the patient wallet because insurance has limit. She charges for every piece of test equipment she uses whether needed or not needed.Addition of sugar, always makes a cake sweeter. You need to decide how much is good. Patients must have some understanding of one’s problem. Doctors must not stop as long medical condition exists. However, patients need to be judicious and careful about how much good is good enough.A rough response from Dr. Dobson is not appreciated.

Over all my experience was excellent. Dr zikee as usual was very good and caring. The office help was very helpful and professional, Aaron did a great job helping with my frame selection. The other girls did a great job running the routine tests on my eyes, I would like to recommend them by name but I forgot there names. I have been a patient for six years with no issues .

I evacuated from Houston to College Station due to hurricane and forgot my contact lenses... and Sherri, instead of looking for ways of getting out of helping me in this emergency type situation, she immediately looked for a solution and within a few hours she got me some contacts! It was a very pleasant experience. Dr Dodson had an emergency that morning which extended my stay. Dr Dodson is very thorough and knowledgeable about eye care. Would recommend her to anyone, oh and shes good with young kids as well.

All staff was friendly and very nice. After trying two other places in town and being told all I had was eye allergies because we live in the Brazos Valley, I decided to try someone different yet again. I am so glad I did. I finally got answers and something prescribed not just OTC stuff.

Took my 3 year old daughter here which I was already nervous, but all the staff was kind, patient with her, helpful, and understanding. Dr Zikee is the best!!! She’s so sweet and knowledgeable my daughter has been seen my many eye doctors since an infant due to strabismus/surgery and they all have just brushed me off for her vision concerns, Dr Zike did not and got to the bottom of it.

Excellent experience for myself and 2 children! The entire staff was friendly and patient. Dr. Dobson listened to my concerns and was thorough with her treatment plan for myself and children. My son will be a first-time glasses wearer and is so excited to get this glasses he picked out! I, myself, have been in glasses and contacts for a long time (as well as other eye issues) and I felt Dr. Dobson listened to all my concerns and was thorough during the exam, she came up with a plan that works best for me. I would definitely recommend this office!

After going to TSO in Mansfield for the past years and not getting accurate prescriptions that they blamed on allergies, my first visit here they properly diagnosed me with Keratoconus that requires surgery, I am so grateful that they found out what was wrong with me before my eyes got to bad.... Awesome place! Would 10/10 recommend anyone needing anything related to eyes here. They were super accommodating as I was in a rush today they worked me in sooner than my appointment and I just absolutely adore Abby Zike. She is always amazing when I go see her.

This was my first and last visit with Dr. Zick. She told me the digital pictures they took of my eyes show I may have a serious eye problem. She wanted to do more testing. I did not feel comfortable with the quality of the eye exam she did. So I went back to my eye Doctor of 20+ years (150 miles away from where we currently live) I told him about the experience. After a very detailed exam, digital pictures, 3D imaging scan of my eyes I do NOT have glaucoma! No issues. From now on I will continue to drive 300 miles (round trip) to a highly qualified Doctor. I will not waste my money again at the Eye Care Center in College Station. Also, when I made the appointment with Dr. Zike I was told my insurance would cover my eye exam, except for the digital pictures. I would ONLY owe $39.00 for the pictures of my eyes. To my surprise, on top of the $39.00 and billing my insurance company for the eye exam, I had to pay them $99.00 for my contact lenses Rx. My current Doctor does not charge for writing a Rx for my contacts!

Everything about Eye Care Center is amazing.Dr. Zike is the most competent and caring professional Ive seen in any field. She was able to answer any and all questions my wife and I had, and communicated in a way that showed that she really cares about her work.The staff here is all friendly and knowledgeable, I felt right at home.The equipment is all brand new, high tech, and top notch quality.I definitely recommend this place for eyecare needs.

I had my three-year-old’s eyes examined last Friday and even when he got tired of all the tests and stopped being cooperative, I never heard the slightest tone of impatience from the staff. Glad I brought him as he does need glasses. I will change my own eye care to this center because of our experience.

Honestly, I dont remember a lot about the visit itself since it took place over 2 years ago. From what I remember it was pretty standard. I asked for an annual eye exam that was covered 100% by my insurance company. Fast forward a little and I get a bill saying that my insurance did not cover the visit... keep in mind one eye exam was for a 1 year old that I ONLY had done because insurance was suppose to cover it. I called and they were suppose to be in contact with the insurance to figure things out, I dont hear anything so I assume it has been taken care of. Over a year later I get another bill and call the office back. They apologize that apparently my account fell through the cracks, I request they talk to the insurance again. Apparently they gave my children a comprehensive exam instead of a standard eye exam. Again, I dont hear anything until December of this year when they have sent a letter from the insurance explaining the claim- which they sent to the wrong address even though I had updated my new address with them. So basically, it has been two and a half years and they have just finished talking with my insurance and getting back with me. I am having to pay full price for a service that I did not ask for and they have passed it off that the insurance misinformed them. We are now going to an eye doctor at S&W and have not had a single problem. It is extremely frustrating, and I feel that there customer service and billing department is terrible. Please beware if you plan on going to this office and use insurance.

I have been going to a well known eye center located in Bryan Texas for over 30 years and sought out a new eye doctor after the poor service and attitude I received. Wow, I could not believe how out of date the previous eye center I went to was...The Eye Care Center uses the most up-to-date technology for eye exams and the their knowledge impressed me very much. Dr. Dobson is so nice and truly cares about “you” and helping you with your eye needs....she is definitely an expertise in her field !...I will refer all of my family to Dr Dobson at the Eye Care Center 😊

I received the most thorough eye exam that I have ever had, either by optometrist or ophthalmologist. The folks are wonderful! I recommend them without reservation. My husand, who accompanied me to the exam, was impressed as well. Great job!

5 stars. My experience couldn’t have been any better. It started from the moment I called bc I thought I had a contact stuck in my eye. They were super nice from the jump. Gave me turn by turn directions and got me in immediately to check things out. While being there, I saw dr zeke (I believe that’s right spelling) she is so kind and informative and and just polite. I highly reccomend using them, if you want great care. Only thing is it can get expensive if you don’t have insurance they take. But that’s probably any where you go.

The Tech Dee was funny, polite, and helpful even when I couldn’t perform a task correctly. Ahah. Dr. Zike was thorough, informative, and super nice. Krysta (Sorry if I butchered that spelling!), who actually supervises the lens department (I think) stayed after hours, was AMAZING, answered all my questions and even when I offered to come back the following day so they could close - she refused and never once acted like it phased her. For my glasses pickup - she offered to rotate her lunch hour to accommodate my lunch hour! If I could give her 10 stars, I would. Great staff, great new spa like location, definitely recommend.

Really great! The technician explained every test he completed and was kind. He engaged in conversation but not too much for 8am! Dr. Dobson was excellent and friendly as well. Provided all the details regarding the eye, explained it in common terms, and gave the reasoning behind changes to contacts. Wish Id come here before!

I was referred to Dr. Dobson by a coworker & have been very pleased with the entire facility & staff of their exceptional customer care. Dr. Dobson is someone who actually listens to what you are explaining & tries to make something work for you instead of just trying to sell you something to make a dollar. Her staff is very educated & also explain things to you in a detailed manner to where you understand. I switched from glasses to contacts for the first time & by the time I had walked out of there I was confident I would not have any problems with them. You are fairly quickly seen if you have an appointment & you are not rushed. Both my husband & myself have not ever had such good service & will continue to be Dr. Dobson & The Eye Care Centers patients.

This place is very poor managed, way overrated, and way overpriced! The doctor got me and my wifes persription off we had to literally tell them what our previous prescription was from last year just so that we could see clearly. And now Im trying to order the rest of my contacts from 1800 contacts for the remainder of the year and theyre making them and me jump through hoops to do so! I will never use eye care center again and I highly recommend anyone else to avoid using them also!!!

Poorly managed. Went to just pick up a prescription and it took 2 hours. The staff doesnt properly explain things and it felt like they were continuously trying to up sell me.

Dr Dobson and her staff are awesome! The clinic has the equipment/technology and knowledge to ensure each patient gets the very best eye care possible. They have some of the latest equipment out that no other eye doctor in the area has. We are very pleased to know we have this technology in determining what is best for our vision!Recently Dr Dobson referred my husband to a world renowned eye doctor in Houston, Dr Slade, for cataract surgery. He now has 20/20 vision!!! Dr Dobson was able to do all of the post- op and follow up visits, making it so much easier on us.I would definitely recommend Dr Dobson and her highly trained staff to anyone for their eye care needs.

I asked for what my insurance covered, I paid my copay and then got another bill in the mail. I waited 45 minutes past my appointment to be seen. The hoops I have had to jump through are ridiculous.

Im from the Houston area, and I have been to many different optometrists there. I can tell you that Dr. Dobson and her staff are exceptional in everything they do way beyond the so called care you find in Houston. If you want a concierge optometrist who goes above and beyond the call of duty, then this office should be your choice! Me and my family (3 others) enjoyed exceptional care and empathy. I was struck by Dr. Dobsons attention to detail, and her thorough education about our eye health. She left no stone unturned, and I admired her empathy for me and my family. She told me news about my eye health that no ther doctor noticed or were too busy to let me know. This essentially saved my eyesight. I can say enough about the staff as well. They personalized our care and made accommodations that suited our needs. They are all knowledgeable and made our appointments fun because they paid us personalized attention.
